6	Alexandre Astier (born 16 June 1974 in Lyon) is a French actor, stage comedian, writer, director, producer, voice actor, playwright and composer.

8	The son of actor and playwright Creator/LionnelAstier and actress Joëlle Sevilla, he is best known for creating the Myth/ArthurianLegend-[=inspired=] {{comedy}} series ''Series/{{Kaamelott}}'', and for playing the [[Myth/KingArthur main role]] in it. He also wrote, directed and played in ''Film/KaamelottPremierVolet'', a [[TheMovie theatrical film sequel to the series]] that has been SavedFromDevelopmentHell and released in 2021, intending it to be the first installment of a trilogy.
