Elektra Natchios has just arrived to the campus, and joined Phoebe and Melissa in a dorm room. She introduced them to her sensei in her karate classes. They have a discussion with Trey, a local bully. Elektra also met Matt Murdock in the gym class, and fell in love with him. Things start to get darker when Trey takes things beyond mere pranks, and neither the college nor police can stop him- his father is an influential political figure, and makes sure nothing happens to him. Elektra finally decides to work as a vigilante and take him down, but Matt is a vigilante as well and stops her from doing so.

* AbusiveParents: Trey's father got him out of prison, but once they are alone... how does he dare to drag the Langstrom name to the mud?
* AdaptationNameChange: Elektra's father was named "Stravos" in the original miniseries and [[ContinuitySnarl "Dimitris"]] in the sequel mini.
* AdaptationalModesty: When going around as a vigilante, Elektra uses a black jean and top, and a red bandana. Not a red swimsuit like the prime earth Elektra.
* AdaptationalWealth: The Natchios family are a poor family who own a struggling laundromat here, unlike the original comics, ''Film/Daredevil2003'', and Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse, where Elektra and her family are wealthy, with Hugo (or Nikolas, as he was named in the 2003 film) having been a businessman (and in the comics and MCU, eventually became an ambassador for Greece).
* AlmostKiss: Matt and Elektra are fighting, and get close to each other. Matt was about to make her hear to reason and kiss her, but she interrupted the moment.
* AmbiguousSituation: Elektra overhears the cops saying that "Right now Ms. Beckerman can make the ID. Tomorrow might be another matter entirely". She asked for clarifications. But no, they do not think that she lies. They fear that, if she thinks about it and remembers Trey's contacts, she may withdraw her testimony to avoid trouble.
* BetaOutfit: Daredevil and Elektra do not use superhero costumes, just black clothes (not a SpyCatsuit either, just black normal clothes). Matt also uses a piece of clothing to hide his face; Elektra does not hide hers.
* BigNo: Matt heard one while using his super hearing.
* BoxingLesson: Elektra took Phoebe and Melissa with her sensei, so they can learn self-defense.
* BringIt: A pair of thieves though they could defeat Matt with just knives. He does not fear them.
* BullyBrutality: Trey started as a mere bully, but things escalated so much that he tried to commit murder.
* BullyingTheDragon: Elektra told Trey to return the folder to the student he was bullying. He replied "Make me". We leave the rest to your imagination.
* BullyingTheDisabled: Trey is celebrating that the police dropped the investigation on him, so he took Matt's cane.
* ChallengingTheBully: When Elektra saw Trey abusing of a female student with his gang, he forced him to return her her folder.
* ComicBookMoviesDontUseCodenames: Matt works as a vigilante, but never uses the name "Daredevil". Elektra is not a codename, it's her actual name, so it doesn't count.
* ContinuitySnarl: Subjected to one by the ''Ultimate Elektra'' sequel. In the original, Elektra's father was named "Stravos" and stated to be a native of the United States, while ''Elektra'' would name him "Dimitris" and state he's an immigrant.
* CoversAlwaysLie: Matt never uses the Daredevil costume, or even the name, in this comic.
* DamselOutOfDistress: Elektra and her friends engineered one for Trey. He ''thought'' that he could trap Elektra, but the trap was on him.
* DearJohnLetter: Elektra left the dorm, ready to kill Trey. She took all her belongings, and left a goodbye note for Phoebe and Melissa.
* DidntThinkThisThrough
** Subverted. Elektra and Matt had the perfect date: coffee, dinner, movie... wait a moment, Matt is blind, he can't see the movie! Oh, but it was ''his'' idea. Elektra spent all the time whispering in his ear what was happening.
** Elektra sneaks into Trey's room, threats to kill him, and leaves. Without a mask or anything else to conceal her identity. Unsurprisingly, by the time she's back Trey had denounced her.
* DirtyCoward: Trey took a gun, set a trap for Elektra and was ready to kill her. But she was ready for him, took him from the back by surprise, forced him to drop the gun... and the rest is too humiliating to detail.
* DisabledMeansHelpless: Foggy may mean well, always trying to help Matt with minor stuff, but he was clear: "I've told you before, Foggy. I'm not helpless, just blind"
* DramaticUnmask: Matt unmasked himself to Elektra during the discussion about Trey's fate. As it is usual for him, it was taken as a CassandraTruth, because it can't be believed that a blind man can fight so well.
* EasilyOverheardConversation: Melissa and Phoebe set a trap for Trey, gloat about it once he's no longer in sight... and failed to notice that they did so right in front of Matt.
* EmergingFromTheShadows: Matt did this trick at the sensei's dojo, when Elektra was training alone in the night.
* HateAtFirstSight: Elektra and Trey hated each other since their first encounter. Things only escalated from there.
* IfYouKillHimYouWillBeJustLikeHim: Elektra threatened Trey, and left. He did not scare him. Rather, he prompted him to escalate the action.
* KneelBeforeZod: An inverted case, as it is Elektra who captures and humilliates Trey, and forces him to kneel while he cries like a little girl.
* LoveAtFirstSight: Elektra fell in love with Matt when she first saw him.
* MistakenForGay: Matt and Foggy are always together, so Phoebe had thought that they were gays.
* MoodWhiplash: Elektra returns so happy from her date with Matt, gossiping with Phoebe about her blossoming romance... and suddenly find that someone trashed her dorm room and attacked Melissa.
* MoveAlongNothingToSeeHere: A fire caused by two vandals destroy Stavros' shop. Matt gets some evidence around, and then the firemen tell him to get away, that the place is still dangerous.
* NotMeThisTime: When Matt breaks into Trey's room, he noticed it and attacked him. he noticed that "you're not her!", but attacked anyway. After all, it was still a stranger breaking into his room.
* NotSoStoic: Elektra does not want to hear anything about Phoebe and Melissa gossiping about her crush. But when she hears that Phoebe knows the name of the man she liked, she's suddenly very interested to hear it.
* NotWearingTights: [[CoversAlwaysLie Except for the covers]], nobody in this comic book wears superhero costumes.
* ProfessionalKiller: Trey did not burn the shop himself. He sent people hired for that.
* RapeAndRevenge: [[spoiler:The whole plot of the original series started with Trey forcing himself on Melissa and Elektra going after him for it.]]
* SadisticChoice: Elektra gave Trey a mortal injury, and gave Matt a choice. He can get him to a hospital before he bleeds to death, or he can go with her. [[spoiler:He chose the first one]]
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: Trey gets away with everything he does because his father is a powerful politician.
* SuperSenses: Matt can smell the scent of people, and hear everything in the vicinity.
* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: Subverted. When the shop (which was also his house) was destroyed, Elektra asked her sensei to allow her father to stay. But she clarified, it's just for the night, and he would seek a hotel in the morning.
* ThirdWheel: Elektra and Matt have met, and fell in love. And Foggy? Is there anything he can do to help Matt? Yes: he can help by leaving.
* ThouShaltNotKill: Daredevil and Elektra discussed this when she intended to kill the bully and he stopped her.
