!!Shadow Warrior
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sacredshadowwarrior.jpg]]
A ancient dead warrior resurrected by using the T-Energy. Master in powerful combat techniques, he can use death magic to call upon fallen comrades from the afterlife to assist him.

Fallen centuries ago, he is summoned by the High Inquisition as a living puppet. In the Light Path, he breaks his magic chains during his summoning and goes free in search of a way to return to the afterlife. Knowing he can't die while the T-Energy flows through Ancaria, he joins the Elven resistance in order to stop the stream of T-Energy and end his unholy existence.
----
* TheAce: His skills combine a [[TheBigGuy tank]], a [[{{Necromancer}} summoner]] and a [[TheRedMage wizard]]. What else can you ask for, aside from peace in the world?
* AmbiguouslyHuman: It's difficult to tell what race he belonged to back when he was alive. He was summoned from an elven graveyard and has pointy ears, but he is hunkier than any other elf in the game and his ears are not as a pointy as the High Elf, resembling more those of the Dryad, who is said to be of an elven sub-race. This might make the Shadow Warrior a member of another sub-race or even a half-human, but nothing of it is brought up in the game.
* AnimateDead: Can reanimate corpses for a time in order to use them as his minions.
* TheBigGuy
* BloodKnight: Was one in his past life. He still likes fighting, but with less enthusiasm.
* CameBackWrong: In the Light Path.
* CreepyGood: In the Light Path.
* DealWithTheDevil: A "Dark Pact" causes his [[InvisibilityCloak Shadow Veil skill]] to be changed to a buff skill.
* DeathActivatedSuperpower: He is not a wizard in the traditional sense, but his link to the afterlife allows him to use death magic.
* DeathSeeker: His main motivation, in both paths. He wants to die again and return to the Elysium.
* DemBones: Can summon some skeletal soldiers.
* ElementalPunch: "Demonic Blow" starts out as a MegatonPunch, but can be upgraded with poison and LifeDrain.
* {{Expy}}: Inside the ''Sacred'' franchise, he is a CompositeCharacter of the Gladiator and the Vampiress, being both a weapons expert and an undead summoner.
* FallenHero
* FateWorseThanDeath: How he sees his new life.
* GlowingEyelightsOfUndeath: His glowing yellow eyes are not very menacing, but they remind you that there is something wrong about him.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: Even if Light-sided, the Shadow Warrior has some pretty grim and bloodthirsty quips.
* InvisibilityCloak: "Shadow Veil" causes him to become invisible.
* HorseOfADifferentColor[=/=]PowerUpMount: The Hellhound.
* LargeHam
* LightningBruiser
* MagicKnight: Proficent with weapons and death magic.
* MysteriousPast: His summoners mention he is a "great fallen soldier", but despite he has a side quest dedicated to it, we are never told his history.
* {{Necromancer}}: His "Astral Lord" skill tree allows him a spell to conjure a skull that shoots ice shards at enemies, a spell that conjures a ghost to give an enemy a good shove, and two spells that respectively summon temporary zombies and semi-permanent skeletons.
* ShellshockedVeteran: Taken to the extreme, as he actually died in battle.
* TokenHuman: He isn't alive and is unclear if he was a human, but still qualifies as the only class in ''Sacred 2'' that is not explicitly an elf or other kind of being.
* TheUndead
* ZombieApocalypse: The "Contagion" upgrade for his "Rallied Souls" spell causes his temporary zombies to infect enemies with TheVirus, causing them to also become zombies.

[[folder:High Elf]]
!!High Elf
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sacredhighelf.jpg]]
A female elf mage from the academy of magic in Thylysium.
----
* AxCrazy: In the Shadow Path, she kills her magic sparring ''and'' their master after a initially friendly duel.
* BadassBookworm
* DeadpanSnarker
* ElementalPowers
** BlowYouAway
** AnIcePerson
** PlayingWithFire
** ShockAndAwe
* {{Expy}}: Inside ''Sacred'', she has roughly the moveset and background of the Battle Mage, although she very noticeable lacks his physical skills. Her Shadow Path design make her look like the Zhurag-Nar Dark Elf Priestesses.
* {{Fireballs}}: Her first spell.
* FlashStep: One of her spells.
* HorseOfADifferentColor[=/=]PowerUpMount: The Wind Serpent.
* TheRedMage
* SquishyWizard: In stark contrast to the Battle Mage, the High Elf trusts fully on her magic and has little to no fighting training.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Her default attire is basically a bikini.
* WizardingSchool: Comes from one.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Temple Guardian]]
!!Temple Guardian
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sacredtempleguard.jpg]]
A mechanical being created millenios ago to defend the Great Machine. Powered by the T-Energy, he is able to modify his body to adapt to tactical situations, using technological weapons.
----
* AmbiguousRobots: Some materials describe him as having organic parts, but the game instead implies he is totally inanimate.
* ArmCannon: His left arm is a modifiable weapon, and thus he can't wield two-handed weapons.
* BeehiveBarrier
* BladeBelowTheShoulder
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Or rather no morality at all. He simply follows his programmation, and it's not clear how much sentience he has.
* BottomlessMagazines: They are EnergyWeapons after all.
* DeflectorShields
* DoAnythingRobot: His arm.
* HomicideMachines: In the Shadow Path.
* KillerRobot
* LegCannon: One of his abilities.
* HorseOfADifferentColor[=/=]PowerUpMount: The [[MonowheelMayhem Mobiculum]].
* JetPack: One combat art has him use one to increase his mobility, and [[WeaponizedExhaust burn enemies with occasional bursts from the afterburners]]. As per "Leg Cannon," it's a pair of rocket boots instead of a backpack (despite the icon showing rocket nozzles on a gimball).
* {{Magitek}}
* OneManArmy
* PowerFist
* RobotDog: His canine head makes him resemble Egyptian god Anubis.
* RobotBuddy
* SkeleBot9000: Where his stomach would be on a person, his power core resides.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dryad]]
!!Dryad
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sacreddryad.jpg]]
A member of a tribe of renegade elves who withdrew to the western islands in order to live as one with nature. Mastery of archery, she can use nature magic and dark voodoo.
----
* ActionGirl
* BloodKnight: Really enjoys fighting, although in a more lighthearted fashion compared to other characters.
* BlowGun: One of her weapons.
* CombatMedic: Has a curation spell.
* CombatTentacles: Can summon light roots to immobilize the opponent.
* EarthyBarefootCharacter: Subverted. ''Sacred 2'' Dryads usually go barefoot, playing straight the trope, but this specific dryad wears boots even as part of her default attire (although you can equip her with sandals). Justified because, unlike the other Dryads who stay in the muddy terrains of their islands, she has to travel to places of Ancaria in which the soil is much more abrasive.
* {{Expy}}: To the ''Sacred'''s Wood Elf, although ''Sacred Underworld'' had already shown Dryads with their own characteristics.
* FriendlySniper
* GardenGarment: Her clothes are apparently made of leaves.
* GreenThumb
* HollywoodVoodoo
* HorseOfADifferentColor[=/=]PowerUpMount: The Monitor Lizard.
* InHarmonyWithNature
* JunglePrincess: She and her race evoke the archetype.
* NatureHero
* OurElvesAreDifferent
* OutdoorsyGal: Yup, especially in the tree-climbing aspect.
* RainOfArrows: One of her abilities.
* PoisonousPerson: Is expert in the use of poisons.
* {{Stripperiffic}}
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Inquisitor]]
!!Inquisitor
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sacredinquisitor.jpg]]
One of the High Priests of the High Elves. His heart is as dark as the magic he uses, and his methods in hand-to-hand combat are just as twisted.
----
* AgonyBeam: His signature spell.
* AnimateDead: Can reanimate corpses for a time in order to use them as his minions.
%%* BlackCloak
%%* BlackMage
* CardCarryingVillain: He clearly enjoys butchering enemies for the church.
%%* ChurchMilitant
%%* CorruptChurch
* EvilCounterpart: To the Seraphim.
%%* ImplacableMan
* InTheHood: Wears always a hood over his head, and unlike the Battle Mage he cannot be without her (even his helmets are hood-shaped in order to accommodate it).
%%* PowerUpMount: The Shroud Spider.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: His attire.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Has glowing red eyes, most likely due to his powers.
%%* ReligionOfEvil
* TokenEvilTeammate: Only can choose the Shadow Path.
%%* VillainProtagonist
* YourSoulIsMine: Can steal dead enemies's souls to use them as energy.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dragon Mage]]
!!Dragon Mage
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sacreddragonmage.jpg]]
A member of a cloak-and-dagger dragon cult from some remote region of the world. Trained by dragons, he can use ancient draconic magic to turn himself into one.

A class introduced in ''Sacred 2: Ice and Blood''.

* BlowYouAway
* DeathFromAbove: One of his combat arts allow him to call a dragon to bomb the enemies with fire from above.
* DragonKnight
* ElementalEmbodiment: Can summon one or two [[MagmaMan lava elemental protectors]].
* {{Expy}}: Of the Battle Mage from the first game, [[OurDragonsAreDifferent only with dragons]]. They share several elemental-themed combat arts and are shown in promotional materials as wearing in red and wielding staves.
* {{Fireballs}}
* HorseOfADifferentColor[=/=]PowerUpMount: The Draconicon.
* MagicKnight
* OurDragonsAreDifferent
* PlayingWithFire
* ShoulderSizedDragon: Another of his summonings.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: To a dragon form, nothing less.
[[/folder]]
