A group of ten young minuscule [[Franchise/{{Kirby}} Kirbies]] who live a peaceful life under the guardianship of [[GentleGiant Adeleine]], whose mutual bond is so [[{{Pun}} big]] they treat her [[TeamMom as their mother]]. Their sole objectives are to travel happily with their mom and make her smile.
----
* BadassAdorable: Just like Kirby, they're cute and badass.
* BadassCrew: They're a bunch of superpowered children who can kick ass.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: The Kirbies treats their mother with much love as she did and does for them.
* BigEater: They sure eat a lot for their size like the original Kirby.
* BlushSticker: Just like Kirby, all of the members have notorious cheeks, though with different colours.
* ColourCodedEmotions: Each member symbolizes different emotions and personalities and are distinguishable from each other [[EyeMotifs by their eyes]] and cheek lines.
* ColorCodedEyes: One of their designated features besides their cheek lines.
* ColourCodedForYourConvenience: Each Kirby have different eye and cheek colors that define both their physical and personality traits. They even have their own hats matching their colours in Episode 3.
* DecompositeCharacter: Divide Kirby into ''10'' of his emotions and feelings, make them tinier, and you got this crew [[spoiler:(or rather divide [[DefeatMeansFriendship Void]] into 10 of ''Adeleine's'' emotions and feelings and incarnate them into fascimiles of Kirby in each one)]].
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Almost all of the Kirbies have stars in the inferior part of their eyes (except for [[BlackEyesOfEvil BleakOne]] and [[BlackBeadEyes OldOne]]).
* {{Hammerspace}}: They somehow save their ability items even without pockets.
* HumanLadder: Or, well, Kirby Ladder. In [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-3-pretend-play the 4th comic]] of Kirby Guardian, the group decides to do a "Battle Formation" called "Tower" just to play with her mother in a heroes-vs-beast type of game. Unfortunately for them... [[HumansAreCthulhu her mother just stands up]] just to ask if they wanna play with her, [[MassOhCrap to their nervousness.]] The General [[DavidVersusGoliath asks her to play fair.]]
* IconicItem: Each Kirby carries different items even before their [[SuperForm super forms]], save for [=LostOne=] who [[spoiler:appears to mimic one of the member's ability by looking at their attacks]]. The General has a red stick that can turn it into a staff for his SuperMode, [=GlumOne=] has a pair of purple scimitars, [=BleakOne=] has a black hammer, [=OddOne=] has {{cartoon bomb}}s, [=ProudOne=] has a blue sword, [=CautiosOne=] has a green bow and arrow, [=CutesyOne=] has a parasol with white and pink stripes, [=OldOne=] has a mic and [=BitterOne=] has a lasso.
* KillerRabbit: They might be cute and tiny, but they're just as deadly as the original Kirby.
* LanguageBarrier: In [[https://www.newgrounds.com/playlists/view/ad3227b376812b17d53e3e769bdb05fa the comics]], it's revealed that, due to the StarfishLanguage example below, the only thing the gang can hear from their mommy's mouth is "BlahBlahBlah" (with the General getting only ''some'' words said by her), so they require the use of gestures and signs for communication. [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-14-strange-markings By the 14th comic]], though, Ado's now able to follow a basic conversation with her sons for a little bit, and the crew now know their mother's language and [[MauriceChevalierAccent accent]], though some of her words are still tough for them to understand.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Each member of the Company has one, [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=shared&v=zCrfOSF30WU as shown in this video.]]
* LetsGetDangerous: While each Kirby vary in personalities, some being less courageous than others, they always stick together and manifests their own powers when they need to fight, porting their own hats, weapons and abilities.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: [[spoiler:Episode 6 reveals that the Kirbies are multiple reincarnations of [[VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies Void]] that were born through all of Adeleine's emotions.]]
* MassiveNumberedSiblings: Technically speaking, all of the Kirbies are basically siblings, hence their same sizes and almost identical physical features minus their eyes, cheeks and powers.
* MassOhCrap: They all get like this if they see her mother getting pissed off or even sometimes when they see her [[HumansAreCthulhu from certain angle]], like in [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-3-pretend-play this comic]] ([[SincerityMode and yes, even]] [[TheDitz LostOne]] [[OOCisSeriousBusiness reacts like this]]).
* MouseWorld: They're the main characters besides Adeleine and are a group of young puffballs so tiny that make even the original Kirby look like a ''giant'' in comparison.
* MythologyGag:
** The Company's abilities are all based on Kirby's Copy Abilities: the General's ability resembles [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Staff Staff]], [=GlumOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Cutter Cutter]], [=BleakOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Hammer Hammer]], [=OddOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Bomb Bomb]], [=ProudOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Sword Sword]], [=CautiousOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Archer Archer]] with a green shield, [=CutesyOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Parasol Parasol]], [=OldOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Mike Mike]], [=BitterOne=]'s is based on [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Yo-Yo Yo-Yo]], and [=LostOne=]'s is based on the [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Copy Copy]]... well, Copy Ability.
** The crew's frequent use of "Poyo" in their StarfishLanguage is more akin to the one Kirby's [[Anime/KirbyRightBackAtYa anime counterpart]] shares.
* PersonaNonGrata: Both them and Adeleine become this from Kawasaki's restaurant after pissing him off [[DisproportionateRetribution for winning the "Bottomless Pit" challenge.]]
* ThePowerOfLove: [[spoiler:Episode 7 reveals that due to the connection she and the Kirbies share, Adeleine can heal the Kirbies by showing them love, as demonstrated with the General.]]
* SiblingTeam: They're a group of superpowered brothers who work together as a team.
* SquashedFlat: Besides the General and [=LostOne=] in Episode 1, all of the crew gets squashed by a painting falling through a rock in Episode 2. [[DeathIsCheap They got better, though.]]
* StarfishLanguage: Much like the original Kirby, the group has a language that apparently only they understand, mostly using the word or variations of "[[VerbalTic Poyo]]". [[LanguageBarrier This makes things a bit difficult for Adeleine to understand and viceversa]], so both her and the gang use some sort of gestures or signs in order to "talk" to one another. Adeleine can now, as of the [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-14-strange-markings 14th issue]], better understand her sons to an extent, and the same goes for the Company after they get the hang of her language and the [[MauriceChevalierAccent accent]] that comes with it.
* UndyingLoyalty: The same description of the video from the first episode says that the Kirbies only want to be with their mother and try to make her happy at all costs.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The General]]
[[quoteright:291:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dxjctnm_d.jpg]]
TheLeader. Always in the front, guiding the team and trying his best to do so. He's the reason why Adeleine labelled the gang as "The Company". His insignia is a [[UsefulNotes/CommonMilitaryRanks military set of five stars]].
----
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: While he follows his mother's orders no matter what, he laughs at the BigFancyWang drawing that [=OddOne=] made in Episode 3.
* DeerInTheHeadlights: [[spoiler:When he sees Adeleine approach in Reincarnation, the first thing he does is panic in terror at the giantess right in front of him and closes his eyes in hopes she doesn't notice. Unfortunately for him, he's sending out a signal that is catching her attention, so she notices]]. {{Justified|Trope}}, as he just barely won a fight not long before, and is in no shape to run.
* ICantLookGesture: [[spoiler:When he faces with Adeleine in Episode 7, and despite his attempts to scare her off out of fear, he realizes he's no match. He covers his face and cries, expecting the worst.]]
* TheLeader: He wouldn't be named "the General" if that wasn't the case.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-born-to-boss-around?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Born To Boss Around]]".
* MonkeyKingLite: He ports the [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Staff Staff]] ability from the series as his SuperMode, with the difference being that his headwear is more akin to [[Literature/JourneyToTheWest Sun Wukong's]] AnimeHair instead of the original red cap with a salmon pattern and the dark blue gem with a gold rim.
* NotSoAboveItAll: A {{downplayed|trope}} example. While he's ''far'' from being no-fun or completely serious-minded, he's a responsible leader and the OnlySaneMan on the Company besides [=CautiousOne=]. Yet even with all of this... [[YoungAndInCharge he's still a child]], and as such he's no stranger to like and laugh at childish things like [=OddOne=] drawing a BigFancyWang.
* OddNameOut: He's the only one in the Company to not have a "One" in his name and also having a space in-between.
* OnlySaneMan: He shares this trait with [=CautiousOne=]. He's the overall least eccentric and most analytical of the Kirbies.
* ThePowerOfLove: [[spoiler:The General gets healed from his wounds in Episode 7 thanks to the love shown by Adeleine.]]
* RankScalesWithAsskicking: [[spoiler:He was the one to stop [=BitterOne=] out of all his brothers in Episode 7.]]
* RedIsHeroic: He has red eyes and cheek lines, and shares his heroic colours with [[BlueIsHeroic ProudOne]].
* SquashedFlat: Besides what happens at the end of Episode 2, him and [=LostOne=] gets accidentally stepped by Adeleine in the first episode. It wasn't lethal, fortunately.
* TearsOfFear: [[spoiler:In Episode 7, once the General tries to "scare" Adeleine with his stick, only to make her angry, and having no energy to run after his fight with [=BitterOne=], he understandably cries in terror.]]
* WingdingEyes: Him and [=ProudOne=] have their eyes replaced with four-pointed stars when they see the amount of delicious food in the "Bottomless Pit" challenge in Episode 4.
* YoungAndInCharge: He's a child and TheLeader of the Company.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=GlumOne=]]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/5lvev1k_d.jpg]]
TheEeyore. He's always thinking of worst case scenarios. The only times when he smiles is when he's either held in Adeleine's palms or being petted. His insignia is either a SingleTear or a SweatDrop.
----
* BewareTheQuietOnes: While he's shy and one of the quietest among the Company, he's just as deadly as his brothers and has an ability similar to [[DeadlyDisc Cutter]].
* DeadlyDisc: His ability is based on the [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Cutter Cutter]] Copy Ability, albeit with blue colour instead of yellow with white stripes.
* TheEeyore: As his description in his outro card says, he's the most depressed and pessimistic of the Company, always looking sad and thinking about the worst case scenarios, only smilling when being petted or softly held by his mother.
* {{Gangbanger|s}}: He looks like this in his SuperMode, as he ports a purple hat that looks like a docker with a star at the end, and also [[RuggedScar two scars]]. He also may look like a {{pirate}}, though more on the "thuggish sailor" kind of style instead of the [[DressedToPlunder pirate captain style]] that [=ProudOne=] has.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-one-trick-pony?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost One-Trick Pony]]".
* RuggedScar: He has two scars on his face during his SuperMode.
* ShrinkingViolet: [[ColorMotif Literally.]] [=GlumOne=] is one of the quietest of the bunch because of his shyness and his designated color is violet.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=BleakOne=]]]
[[quoteright:291:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/oinmtne_d.jpg]]
TheSoulless. He has a dark aura surrounding him. That being said, he's just as gluttonous as the others and prefers to be petted on the stomach rather than the head. His insignia is a VisibleSilence.
----
* BlackEyesOfEvil: He's one of the 2 members to not have a star readily visible in each eye, the second being [=OldOne=] where the key difference that the latter has more BlackBeadEyes and no stars whatsoever compared to the usual hollow dreaded eyes of this one from a distance (and a close-up shot in one episode shows that [=BleakOne=] indeed has somewhat visible stars in his eyes—inverted pentagrams, that is.
* BloodKnight: He appears to like violence and fighting, though not at the same level as [=BitterOne=]. He puts a SlasherSmile before fighting the Gaw Gaws and while fighting [[spoiler:[=BitterOne=]]], and also [[spoiler:wanted to destroy [=OldOne=]'s microphone because of its loudness in Episode 7]]. Similarly, he smiles when he sees [=BitterOne=] painting aggressively, though he's as shocked as everyone else when the latter destroys his masterpiece.
* CarryABigStick: His SuperMode is the [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Hammer Hammer]] ability, but has [[SpikesOfDoom a spike in each side]] and appears to be made out of a black metal, compared to the original wood hammer with a star drawn on each side. He also carries that same metal hammer in his normal form, but without the spikes.
* CreepyChild: He's certainly the creepiest out of the Company.
* {{Emoticon}}: To show his goofy side in spite of his creepy nature, some of his faces are the ":x" and ".3." emoticons.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-stillbirth?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Stillbirth]]".
* NightmareFetishist: As expected by his personality, he points to a cloud that he believes to look like a chainsaw, and he images Adeleine coming toward the group with one.
* SlasherSmile: [=BleakOne=] rarely smiles, but when he does, he has one closer to ''[[VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies Void Termina's]]'' than to Kirby's.
* SpikesOfDoom: Besides his hammer in his SuperMode, he also wears a black helmet with a golden spike.
* TokenEvilTeammate: [[DownplayedTrope While not exactly]] ''[[DarkIsNotEvil evil]]'', [=BleakOne=] is easily the most unsettling of the bunch, having more in common with Void Termina than with Kirby.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=OddOne=]]]
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dplgzfv_d.jpg]]
TheFunnyGuy. An over-the-top strange fellow, he's always playing tricks on the other members of the group and jumps around. His insignia is a spiral.
----
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He may be the silliest of the bunch, but keep in mind that he also turns himself into a MadBomber when needed.
* CartoonBomb: What he brings out in his normal and SuperMode.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He's the craziest and... well, [[MeaningfulName odd one]] of the group, to the point that Adeleine's always worried he's gonna hurt himself in the weirdest way possible. Also, his favorite activity is [[UseYourHead headbutting any part of Ado's body that is available...]] Maybe he takes HeadbuttOfLove ''way'' too seriously, if he even takes anything seriously, really.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: He has these much like his brothers, but his stars are four-pointed instead of five-pointed, marking them being similar to diamonds and making him stand out a little more (diamond shapes are sometimes associated with card games like solitaire which has the joker card in it, for instance).
* TheFunnyGuy: He's basically the group's clown, never taking anything seriously compared to the rest, and acting in silly ways.
* HappyHarlequinHat: He wears one both in Episode 3 and in his SuperMode.
* LaughingMad: He sure ''loves'' to laugh maniacally, even when there's nothing to laugh at.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-saltimbanque?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Saltimbanque]]".
* MadBomber: His SuperMode is the [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Bomb Bomb]] ability, but his headwear is a HappyHarlequinHat more akin to [[VideoGame/KirbySuperStar Marx]] than to the birthday-like cone hat from the Poppy Bro Jr. enemy... and he acts just like the former.
* OhCrap: In Episode 3, when [=OddOne=] [[LateToTheRealization realizes too late]] that an annoyed Adeleine has noticed his vulgar drawing instead of what she asked, he quickly grabs a bucket of white paint, drops the paint to the canvas and tries to restart the painting.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: In the thumbnail of Episode 7, he's seen just as serious as the others, indicating their situation of looking for a safe place to stay as a SeriousBusiness.
* RightBehindMe: In Episode 3, he paints a BigFancyWang in his canvas instead of what Adeleine asked just for the laughs and shows it to The General. Both are laughing so much that draws Ado's attention, who was patrolling. She first shows disgust and then annoyance. Luckily, the General was quick to notice her. [=OddOne=]? [[LateToTheRealization Not so much.]]
* VibrantOrange: He's by far the most energetic, extrovert and comical of the Company, and his designated colour is orange.
* VulgarHumor: In Episode 3, when Adeleine asks the group to paint her favourite mug in canvases, [=OddOne=] paints... [[BigFancyWang something else]], to the General's amusement and [[RightBehindMe Adeleine's annoyance.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=ProudOne=]]]
[[quoteright:291:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xv9lz4i_d.jpg]]
TheDeterminator. He looks confident and independent, but [[InferioritySuperiorityComplex he's actually pretty childish on the inside.]] When he realizes this, he quickly shifts his attitude and acts mysterious again. His insignia is a four-pointed star.
----
* BlueIsHeroic: He has blue eyes and cheek lines, and shares his heroic colours with [[RedIsHeroic the General]].
* DamageOverTime: He's the DPS to [=CautiousOne=]'s [[LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe tank]].
* DressedToPlunder: His SuperMode makes him look like a pirate captain, wearing a blue tricorner hat with a light blue four-pointed star and a yellow line on top, and also a red bandana.
* HeroesPreferSwords: Both in his normal and {{super form}}, he carries a sword, which is based on the [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Sword Sword]] Copy Ability, albeit with [[DressedToPlunder a pirate captain hat and bandana.]]
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: According to Adeleine's description in his outro card, despite showing confidence and independence, [=ProudOne=] loves when she plays with him, and the more they play, the more his childish side shows. When he realizes this, he quickly shifts his attitude and acts mysteriously again. [[RuleOfCute She finds this cute.]]
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-cur-solitaire?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Cœur Solitaire]]".
* {{Pride}}: [[CaptainObvious As if his name doesn't give a clue.]] Though in his case, despite his confident and independent demeanor, [[InferioritySuperiorityComplex he's actually pretty childish and insecure deep down]], not so different [[TruthInTelevision from someone prideful.]]
* SiblingYinYang: An interesting case with [[TheParanoiac CautiousOne]]. He's more determined to go ahead, while [=CautiousOne=] is more of keeping distance, and the former is more about DPS and close-range attacks, while the latter is more of defense and large-range attacks.
* WingdingEyes: Him and the General have their eyes replaced with four-pointed stars when they see the amount of delicious food in the "Bottomless Pit" challenge in Episode 4.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=CautiousOne=]]]
[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/uctjbhf_d.png]]
TheParanoiac. Let him tell you when things will go wrong, and most of the time [[ProperlyParanoid he'll be right.]] It takes the longest time for him to gain his trust on anyone. His insignia is an exclamation mark.
----
* {{Facepalm}}: He does this near the end of Episode 3, when he sees [=BitterOne=] destroying his own painting just because the latter think it's not good enough.
* {{Hammerspace}}: Besides his IconicItem he saves somewhere (in this case, his green shield) like the rest of his brothers with their respective items, he also pulls out a green magnifying glass to see the fine-print about the rules of the "Bottomless Pit" in Episode 4.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-social-emergency-exit?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Social Emergency Exit]]".
* OnlySaneMan: He shares this trait with the General. He's the most level-headed of the Kirbies.
* PerpetualFrowner: He shares this trait with [=BitterOne=]. In his case, he always has his signature triangle mouth that symbolizes a danger sign.
* ShieldsAreUseful: His main philosophy. As the cautious of the group, he thinks that protection is ''very'' important, and thus he makes a shield appear in his SuperMode, and even remarks this to [=ProudOne=] on Episode 2, when he sees a cloud in the shape of a shield and says that his mother needs one [[HeroesPreferSwords just as she needs a sword.]]
* SiblingYinYang: He has ''two'' yangs, actually: [=ProudOne=] and [=CutesyOne=]. In terms of trust, [=CutesyOne=] always wants to be with his mother, while [=CautiousOne=] took the longest to trust her and even runs away if she even moves a finger around him. He's also more nervous and has a PerpetualFrowner, compared to the more cheerful [=CutesyOne=]. Meanwhile, in terms of attacking, [=ProudOne=] is more about DPS and close-range attacks, while [=CautiousOne=] is more of defense and large-range attacks. Not only that, but the former isn't afraid of taking things straight ahead, while the latter is more about being more careful and keeping distance.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=CutesyOne=]]]
[[quoteright:297:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0tfdoir_d.jpg]]
TheCutie. [[SiblingYinYang He's the polar opposite of CautiousOne.]] He always wants to be with Adeleine and starts freaking out when she's not nearby. He also, as the name suggests, likes all things cute. His insignia is a HeartSymbol.
----
* CharacterTic: He always winks, reflecting his "cute" behaviour.
* CheerfulChild: Probably the most cheerful of the bunch.
* CheeryPink: He's represented with the color pink and is as optimistic and cheerful as the original Kirby, if not more.
* TheCutie: He wouldn't be named "[=CutesyOne=]" if that wasn't the case, would he?
* DeliberatelyCuteChild: Not only is he cute (like most of the crew members, anyway), but he also ''wants'' to be that way. It's in his personality, after all.
* {{Keet}}: He's a cutesy and joyful fellow.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-frolicking?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Frolicking]]".
* ParasolOfPain: He has Kirby's [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Parasol Parasol]] ability as his SuperMode, but his parasol is pink with a pink heart symbol on top and a pink handle compared to the original red and white parasol with a blue handle and bright yellow star on top. He also wears a straw hat with a pink band.
* SiblingYinYang: As his outro card says, he's one of the opposites of [[TheParanoiac CautiousOne]] besides [[TheDeterminator ProudOne]]. He always wants to be with Adeleine and starts freaking out when she's not nearby, in contrast with [=CautiousOne=] taking the longest to trust her and running away if she even gets close to him and just moves a finger. He's also much more cheerful compared to [=CautiousOne=] having a PerpetualFrowner and being more nervous.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:[=OldOne=]]]
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/y3acfpq_d_7.png]]
[[ActingYourIntellectualAge The Old-Fashioned Child]]. There is a charming "old-timey" feel to him. He likes the spring breeze a lot and loves to sing, [[CuteButCacophonic though he doesn't do it very well.]] He also trips and falls on his face a lot. His insignia is a pair of white stars.
----
* ActingYourIntellectualAge: Despite being a child, he likes things considered "old-timey" and is probably the most mature one out of the group.
* BlackBeadEyes: He's one of the 2 members to not have a star in each eye, the second being [=BleakOne=], though he has more cartoony black eyes similar to the Kirby from the classic era. Besides the big white circles that shares with the rest ([[BlackEyesOfEvil save for BleakOne]]), he also has a white dot in the inferior part of each eye.
* BoomHeadshot: He gets killed by one of the incoming splinters from the canvas' easel that [=BitterOne=] was smashing in Episode 3.
* CuteButCacophonic / DreadfulMusician: Much like the original Kirby, Adeleine's description says that he loves singing, but he does it awfully. This is demonstrated in Episode 7, where he sings to [=CutesyOne=] and [=LostOne=] with his mic. The former doesn't mind it because of his cheery behaviour, the latter doesn't even pays attention, and [=BleakOne=], who was hiding with the General, wants to destroy his mic with his hammer.
* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: His design is based on the Kirby from the classic era, mainly a mix between the ''VideoGame/KirbysDreamLand'' design and the ''VideoGame/KirbysAdventure'' design.
* TheKlutz: According to Ado's description in his outro's image, she says that he "trips and falls on his face a lot".
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-old-school-cabaret?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Old-School Cabaret]]".
* MusicalAssassin: He has [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Mike Mike]] as his SuperMode, and also carries his mic around. His microphone remains almost the same as the original, but his earphones has orange ear covers instead of red, has multipointed white stars in each cover intead of golden five-pointed stars, and its headband is white instead of black. He also has a white bow tie.
* MythologyGag: His poses in his outro card (image above) and in Episode 7 resemble Kirby's dance poses from the classic era. He also emits one of the 8 bit sound effects from said era.
* SquashedFlat: Besides what happens in Episode 2 with him and the rest of the Company, [[spoiler:he gets accidentally stepped by Adeleine in Episode 8 ([[CallBack like with the General and [=LostOne=] in the very first episode]])]], making this his second individual time he gets hurt/dies and his third time counting Episode 2. But like in his previous instances, [[DeathIsCheap he got better.]]
* YoungerThanTheyLook: He might look a bit like an elderly guy, mainly because of his dimples, his grey cheeks and his [[ActingYourIntellectualAge "old timey" personality]], but he's just as young as the rest of the Kirbies.

[[HairTriggerTemper The Angry One]]. An aggressive bully, he often picks fights with anything and anyone, even animals and insects, not realizing he may be at disadvantage because of his size. 175----
* AntiHero: Even more so than [=BleakOne=]. [[spoiler:He joins the rest of the Company [[DefeatMeansFriendship only when the General beats the shit out of him]]]] and is still prone to violence and [[BloodKnight loves fights]] (coming from him or others) even while being on the side of good.
* AntiVillain: [[spoiler:At least during Episode 7. He's not really what you would call "evil", but has constant anger issues and violent tendencies because of the emotion he gained since birth rather than something he really chose to have, making his moral agency rather questionable. This ultimately leads him to fight against and brutally beat his brothers.]]
* BloodKnight: Boy, he just ''loves'' fights. And even appears to like when ''others'' fight in a blind rage, like Adeleine in Episode 5.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: [[spoiler:He joins the group in Episode 7, when The General defeats him in an intense fight. He's still quite the cantankerous fellow, though.]]
* EpicFlail: His SuperMode has his whip turned into '''a spiky ball-and-chain flail''' just like [[https://wikirby.com/wiki/Mace_Knight Mace Knight's weapon]].
* {{Guyliner}}: He has ''[[ExcessiveEvilEyeshadow a lot]]'' of eyeshadow in his SuperMode.

* MundaneMadeAwesome: In Episode 3, he draws and paints Adeleine's mug ''and'' the background with ''passion''. He also throws food to [=OldOne=], [=CautiousOne=] and [=ProudOne=] like it was volleyball or dodgeball so they can catch it to eat it in Episode 4.
* OneManArmy: [[spoiler:He took down almost ''all'' of his 9 brothers except for ''one'' (granted, he was also tired by that time).]]
* PerpetualFrowner: He shares this trait with [=CautiousOne=]. In his case, he always has an angry scowl, fitting for his emotion.
* PurpleIsPowerful: [[spoiler: He beats the crap out of 8 among his 9 brothers]]. His designated colour is purple.
* SiblingRivalry: [[spoiler:He fought with all of his brothers in Episode 7. Now he's more indifferent to them in most cases, though he doesn't get along ''badly'' with them per se, at least for now.]]
* SpikesOfDoom: Besides his spiky flail, he also bares a pointy hat in his SuperMode.
* {{Tsundere}}: His description made by Adeleine in the outro cards says that, despite his violent nature and grumpy attitude, he wants just as much love as the others, even if he doesn't want to admit it and crosses his arms, meaning that he does have a soft spot that hides it within his rough exterior, after all.
* WideEyesAndShrunkenIrises: While the rest of his brothers also have these on some occasions, this is more predominant with him because of how ''[[HairTriggerTemper angry]]'' he constantly is. His SuperMode even has purple bloodshot eyes ''by default'', along with [[ExcessiveEvilEyeshadow black eyeshadow]].

* BlueIsCalm: He's certainly the calmest of the group because of his inattentiveness, and he also has light blue features.
* ElectiveMute: He talks, but due to his inattention, he doesn't feel like doing it.
* FrozenFace: He rarely emotes, as most of the time he has that dot-like mouth and indifferent eyes because of his lack of attention, though the eyes ''do'' change in more occasions than his mouth.
* InnocentBlueEyes: He has light-blue eyes along with his cheeks and it's by far the most innocent of the crew because of his inattentiveness.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "[[https://m.soundcloud.com/user-753864203/kirby-guardian-adaptive?in=user-753864203%2Fsets%2Fkirby-guardian-ost Adaptive]]".

* SquashedFlat: Besides what happens at the end of Episode 2, him and the General gets accidentally stepped by Adeleine in the first episode. It wasn't lethal, fortunately.
* VariantPowerCopying: He seems to not have a SuperMode per se like his brothers, but instead he does a PowerCopying by watching at least one of his brothers, resembling Kirby's Copy Ability named... [[ShapedLikeItself well,]] [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Copy Copy]], though he invokes a bright blue light-based weapon more akin to one of the weapons made by [[ComicBook/GreenLantern a Lantern.]] Interestingly enough, this makes him more closer to Kirby in terms of his PowerCopying ability.

----
* AdaptationalBadass: Sure, she wasn't a weakling in the games at all, as she's an ArtAttacker who uses her paintings to her favour; but here? Not only [[HumansAreCthulhu she can be scary to the Kirbies]] [[YouWouldntLikeMeWhenImAngry when angry]] ([[NightmareFuelStationAttendant or not]]), she made a group of Gaw Gaws ''run in fear'', and in Episode 10, not only her magic painting powers enhanced, she seems to also gain powers from the star on her belly button, a la Franchise/StevenUniverse, making others stunned and even have a ''BreathWeapon''.
* AdaptationalNationality: It's implied that Adeleine in this series is French, or at least came from a French family [[spoiler:before being adopted by Dedede. In the [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-15-karma 15th comic]], she says "[[ForeignCussWord Et merde...]]" when she slipped and fell to the ground while carrying an ice cream cone]], and the description in [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-14-strange-markings the 14th comic]] says that "it has become easier [for the Company] to understand their mother's language and [[MauriceChevalierAccent accent]]". This might be because of her being an artist with an ArtsyBeret, which is usually applied to "true" French artists in fiction, and because of the series' creator being from France.
* AgeLift: She's made into a young adult in the shorts and comics 11 to 13. [[spoiler:Her young child self from the games as well as a teenager self are both shown during the prequel comics when she's living with Dedede.]]

* ArtAttacker: Her canon art powers did not banish and, in fact, they seem to have been ''[[AdaptationalBadass enhanced]]'', as seen in Episode 10. Not only can she summon objects and living creations like in the games, but she also can make her paintbrush [[MagicalWeapon magically appear and disappear at will]], make her creations appear in other objects apart from her canvas, like a ball of dirt, and even create ''{{spikes|OfDoom}}'' out of paint.
* ArtsyBeret: Just like in her main appearance, she wears her iconic red beret.
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: She became much more beautiful and [[DefrostingIceQueen nicer]] after the prequels.
* BerserkButton: Destroying her art, as an unfortunate family of Gaw Gaws learn the hard way in Episode 5.
* BerserkerTears: She sheds these while getting furious for her destroyed painting in Episode 5.
* BigEater: While obviously {{subverted|trope}} in Episode 4, where she orders the MegaMealChallenge from Kawasaki's restaurant but it's actually to share with her children, the description of the video says that "[she] isn't ''normally'' a big eater", implying that she does indeed have her moments.
* BlindedByRage: She furiously chases the Gaw Gaw family in Episode 5 while waving her paintbrush and closing her eyes, [[WatchOutForThatTree making her bump against a tree in her way.]]
* BlushSticker: Just like her original counterpart, Adeleine has her blushes in her cheeks, similar the Kirbies.
* CatharticScream: She screams while being infuriated in Episode 5.
* DashAttack: She [[EpicFail attemps this]] while furiously chasing the Gaw Gaws, swiping her paintbrush around [[MythologyGag like when she does it in the original series.]]
* DefrostingIceQueen: [[spoiler:She progressively reverts back from the cynical loner in the prequels to the kind girl she originally was as a child starting with Episode 8, as she slowly warms up to the Company.]]

* GentleGiant: She's the loving and responsible [[ParentalSubstitute adoptive mother]] to her little children, though she can be a little teasing at times, as seen in [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-14-strange-markings the 14th comic]], [[spoiler:something that was probably kept from her previous grumpy self]], but is always all in good fun and their kids know she would never hurt them, [[HumansAreCthulhu even if she can be scary to them, sometimes.]]
* GiantWoman: [[MouseWorld From her children's POV, at least.]]
* {{Good Parent|s}}: There's a reason why their children love her so much, as she also loves all of them equally and takes great care of them. The only thing she wants for them is to grow up healthy.

* KlatchianCoffee: [[spoiler:The reason why Dedede [[https://twitter.com/KimiOmega/status/1734667583297561069 regretted giving coffee to her at her younger days.]]]]
* LanguageBarrier: In [[https://www.newgrounds.com/playlists/view/ad3227b376812b17d53e3e769bdb05fa the comics]], it's revealed that, due to her children [[StarfishLanguage not sharing her language]], not only she can't understand what they say (though she's learning slowly thanks to [=CutesyOne=], as revealed in [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-2-teaching-her-new-words the 2nd comic]]), but the only thing the gang can hear from her mouth is "BlahBlahBlah" (with the General getting only ''some'' words said by her), so they require the use of gestures and signs for communication.
* MentalHealthRecoveryArc: [[spoiler:The Reincarnation arc, which shows Adeleine after the events of the comics prior to meeting the Kirbies. She UsedToBeASweetChild, but her stay with Dedede made her a lonely and grumpy woman when she grew up and lived on her own in addition to becoming something of a scuzzy drunk slumming it in her house. Her accidental creation of the Kirbies and her meeting them [[TookALevelInKindness softened her heart]], [[ParentalSubstitute treating them as her children]] and slowly recover her cheerful personality she had as a little girl.]]
* MsFanservice: Adeleine is much older here than in the games and the shorts like to draw attention to her shapely hips and bust.
* MythologyGag: When Adeleine chases in rage at the Gaw Gaws, she swipes her paintbrush around while closing her eyes, similar to her last attempt of attacking Kirby while possesed by Dark Rimura in ''VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards'', her neutral attack, Brush Slash, in ''VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies'', and the similar final attempt of a possesed Ado, [[AmbiguousSituation who may or may not be the same character]], in ''VideoGame/KirbysDreamLand3''. Also, much like [[VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards the former]] and [[VideoGame/KirbysDreamLand3 the latter game]], she is easily taken out with one good blow when she does this (courtesy of [[WatchOutForThatTree slamming into a tree in a blind rage]] in this case).
* LadySwearsalot: [[spoiler:She was a very foul-mouthed teenager that carried that trait into adulthood, at least before she met the Kirbies. Considering the one who took care of her was Dedede, she had an influence.]]
* PersonaNonGrata: Both her and the Company become this from Kawasaki's restaurant after pissing him off [[DisproportionateRetribution for winning the "Bottomless Pit" challenge.]]
* RavenHairIvorySkin: More so after the prequel episodes. This is also because of the artstyle, as humans or humanoid figures have white skin in [=KimiOmega=]'s Kirby videos.
* ScreamingWarrior: She chases the Gaw Gaw family while screaming and swinging her paintbrush out of rage in Episode 5. She also scream once while battling Gao Gao in Episode 10.
* SlidingScaleOfBeauty: [[spoiler:She wasn't ''that'' ugly in the Reincarnation arc, but she was more unkempt and there were more moments when she put more ugly faces.]] [[https://twitter.com/KimiOmega/status/1546330714597216256 This image]], however, really shows her at her ''ugliest''.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Despite becoming the surrogate mother figure for the Kirbies, [[spoiler:she is shown to still drink occasionally [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-monstrous-snore as seen here]]]]. Habits and addictions can be hard to kick even after finding new positivity in life[[spoiler:, especially those picked up during depressive phases which is likely when Adeleine became an alcoholic]].
* {{Symbolism}}: The fact that Adeleine has various references to stars (a pair of stars appearing [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-mesmer-eyes in each of her eyes]] in some moments, her star necklace, a star tattoo on her belly button and a shirt she wears in Episode 3 that literally says "star") may reference the star the player controls that guides the Kirbies in ''VideoGame/KirbyMassAttack'' (a game that the series is ''heavily'' inspired), making her the [[DoubleMeaning Kirbies' guardian.]]
* TeamMom / ParentalSubstitute: She takes care of the Kirbies as her own children, while the team treats them as their mother.
* TertiarySexualCharacteristics: Especially compared to her canon design, who didn't have eyelashes at all. This Adeleine has visible eyelashes even as a kid.
* TookALevelInKindness: In Episode 7, [[spoiler:she comforts a crying and terrified General, who thought she was gonna hurt him, by petting him on the head and humming him a lullaby, curing his wounds while doing so. [[DefrostingIceQueen Episode 8 shows the full transition process from the cynical loner she was at the start of Episode 7 to the kind girl she is in the rest of the series as she slowly warms up to the Company.]]]]
* VictoriasSecretCompartment: Some of the Kirbies will rest and sleep in Adeleine’s blouse.
* WastedBeauty: She was, in a way, always pretty, but her becoming more messy and grumpier really downplayed this during her adulthood before meeting the Kirbies (though this is sadly {{justified|trope}}, as [[spoiler:she was [[BreakTheCutie broken]] after spending her life with Dedede and then becoming a loner as an adult]]). She restored her beauty after a while, though.
* WatchOutForThatTree: In her blind rage, Adeleine ends up running headfirst into a tree while chasing the Gaw Gaw family in Episode 5. Thankfully, the Kirbies go to help her treat her wounds and comfort her.
* WingdingEyes: Her pupils become for-pointed stars after being amazed at [=BitterOne=]'s realistic painting in Episode 3.

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_20230323_211137_youtube_5.jpg]]
A chef from Cappy Town who opened a new restaurant in Popopo Islands. He runs a very good eating place and appears to be friendly... but there's more to him than meets the eye.
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Both in the games' canon and ''Anime/KirbyRightBackAtYa'', Kawasaki is genuinely friendly, and even as a boss and mid-boss in the games, he's more of a FriendlyEnemy. Here, while he has that trait at first, he then becomes a greedy jerkass who expects Adeleine to lose in the "Bottomless Pit" challenge so he would gain a bunch of money to make himself rich. He's also a SoreLoser once he fails, and bans Adeleine and the Company from his restaurant just for winning and because the former remarks him about the rule of not paying if that same situation occurs, something that ''he'' himself should have known from the start and not get blinded by {{greed}}.
* AmbiguousSituation: Kawasaki gets surprised at the fact that Ado orders the "Bottomless Pit", but then plans to take her a bunch of money if she loses and imagines himself as rich. Thing is, she's not the only one to order this MegaMealChallenge, as the description of the video says that "Only a few people managed to complete the challenge and it let them with a terrible stomachache...". This ''might'' mean that he didn't raise the price back when other people lost the challenge and Ado was the first to try it when the cost was so big for him to gain an outstanding amount of money to make himself rich, but it's never been confirmed.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: He's genuinely friendly at first until he thinks on a plan to take a big chunk of Adeleine's money should she fail to finish the "Bottomless Pit" and really expects her to do so. From here, he uses his friendly persona as a disguise.
* DidNotReadTheContract: Or the conditions in the "Bottomless Pit", in his case. Succeeding gives the customer (or customers, for that matter) the right to leave without paying, something he... [[{{Understatement}} doesn't take very well with Adeleine and the kids]], [[HeadDesk to say the least.]]
* DidntSeeThatComing: He ''really'' didn't expect the Kirbies sharing the meal with Adeleine and thus winning the MegaMealChallenge, [[IdiotBall even though Adeleine asked for one seat for]] ''[[IdiotBall eleven people]]'' which he very clearly heard. The only possible excuse is that he must have thought that Adeleine ordered said challenge for herself and that the ten others she ordered the table for were running late and would order something else, and his surprise at the Kirbies could be chalked up to general surprise at seeing such tiny creatures (much like [[spoiler: Adeleine's own surprise when she met The Company for the first time]]).
* DidntThinkThisThrough: Kawasaki's plan of getting a big chunk of money from Adeleine backfires once the latter makes him remember the same rule he added about the customer not paying should they win.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Everyone knows that banning anybody from your restaurant just for being a SoreLoser (without mentioning the fact of not remembering your own rules) and/or because someone points it at you and rightfully leaves as said rules say is more than unfair and exaggerated.
* {{Greed}}: He takes opportunity on the customers' money when given the chance, especially if said customers decide to order the "Bottomless Pit" and fail, which is mostly the case.
* HeadDesk: Floor, in this case. After being defeated in his own game, Kawasaki repeatedly hits his head to the floor so hard he ''[[SelfHarm bleeds]]''!
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: His own rule about not getting paid should the customer wins explodes in his face once he plans to get money from Adeleine.
* IdiotBall: He gets surprised by the fact that Adeleine carried her Kirbies with her to complete the "Bottomless Pit" challenge, yet he didn't notice something strange about her saying that she wanted one chair for ''eleven people''. [[DidntSeeThatComing Kawasaki should've seen that coming.]]
* PersonaNonGrata: The final shot after the cards shows an injured Kawasaki putting photos of Adeleine and the Company on the wall in the "Unwanted Clients" section.
* SoreLoser: He bangs his head on the floor and bans Adeleine and her children from his restaurant just because they won the MegaMealChallenge fair and square.

* WalkingSpoiler: Aside from just a small cameo in [=OldOne=]'s ImagineSpot in Episode 2, his more prominent appearances are on [[WholeEpisodeFlashback the prequel comics]] as well as in the Reincarnation arc, all of which come much later in the series. Him showing up is not so spoilery, but rather, it's hard to talk about this incarnation of King Dedede without getting into how much worse off he was without Kirby existing in this universe as well as what it's done to him leading him to raising Adeleine the way he did (the end result we see in episodes 6-8).
