* WalkingSpoiler: Aside from just a small cameo in [=OldOne=]'s ImagineSpot in Episode 2, his more prominent appearances are on [[WholeEpisodeFlashback the prequel comics]] as well as in the Reincarnation arc, all of which come much later in the series.

* StarfishLanguage: Much like the original Kirby, the group has a language that apparently only they understand, mostly using the word or variations of "[[VerbalTic Poyo]]". [[LanguageBarrier This makes things a bit difficult for Adeleine to understand and viceversa]], so both her and the gang use some sort of gestures or signs in order to "talk" to one another. Adeline can now, as of the [[https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kimiomega/kirby-guardian-comic-14-strange-markings 14th issue]], better understand her sons to an extent, and the same goes for the Company after they get the hang of her language and the [[MauriceChevalierAccent accent]] that comes with it.

TheEeyore. He's always thinking of worst case scenarios. The only times when he smiles is when he's either held in Adeline's palms or being petted. His insignia is either a SingleTear or a SweatDrop.

* TheAlcoholic: [[spoiler:Prior to meeting the Kirbies, she drinks a ''lot'' of beers in the Reincarnation arc. Very worryingly, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axdqBUivWsc&list=PLxtdGm08L7PG_G-9Ss2ZH3JHGjBqInFuj&index=5 the soundtrack that plays in the beginning of the first part of Reincarnation]] is titled "Cirrhose" which is [[BilingualBonus the French way of saying]] "Cirrhosis" (i.e. ''liver disease/liver function impairment'' that is most commonly caused by '''alcohol'''); whether or not Adeline suffers from it in this series is not made clear, but given the severe alcoholism of hers that's been seen so far, it's best that she quickly kicks the addiction...]]

* FrenchJerk: [[spoiler:[[PlayingWithATrope Played with]] and {{doubly subverted}}. Adeline, implied here to be French, actually UsedToBeASweetKid, but became a bad-tempered loner after living with Dedede and suffering the misfortunes he carried with her. She looked ugly at others and became a lonely alcoholic woman who only lived from her works of art. [[ThrowTheDogABone Her life took a turn for the best]], however, as she met the Company after accidentally creating them and TookALevelInKindness in the process, becoming [[ParentalSubstitute a gentle good parent]] and regaining the good nature she had as a child once more.]]

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: [[spoiler:He's a good person, and is nice to Adeline, but was never given a chance for redemption because he got scapegoated by the media. He does try to make sure Adeline grows up to be someone who is good and kind, and not someone like him, who is good but gruff and insensitive.]]

* DidntSeeThatComing: He ''really'' didn't expect the Kirbies sharing the meal with Adeleine and thus winning the MegaMealChallenge, [[IdiotBall even though Adeleine asked for one seat for]] ''[[IdiotBall eleven people]]'' which he very clearly heard. The only possible excuse is that he must have thought that Adeleine ordered said challenge for herself and that the ten others she ordered the table for were running late and would order something else, and his surprise at the Kirbies could be chalked up to general surprise at seeing such tiny creature (much like [[spoiler: Adeleine's own surprise when she met The Company for the first time]]).

* HairTriggerTemper: [[spoiler:She was shown to have this episodes 6-7 and comics 7-12.]]

* MythologyGag: When Adeleine chases in rage at the Gaw Gaws, she swipes her paintbrush around while closing her eyes, similar to her last attempt of attacking Kirby while possesed by Dark Rimura in ''VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards'', her neutral attack, Brush Slash, in ''VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies'', and the similar final attempt of a possesed Ado, [[AmbiguousSituation who may or may not be the same character]], in ''VideoGame/KirbysDreamLand3''. Also, much like the games, she is easily taken out with one good blow when she does this (courtesy of [[WatchOutForThatTree slamming into a tree in a blind rage]] in this case).

* RankScalesWithAsskicking: [[spoiler:He was the one to stop [=BitterOne=] out of all his brothers in Episode 7.]]

* BlackEyesOfEvil: He's one of the 2 members to not have a star in each eye, the second being [=OldOne=], with the key difference that the latter has more BlackBeadEyes compared to the hollow dreaded eyes of this one.

* EpicFlail: His SuperMode has a spiky ball-and-chain weapon that resembles the '''[[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Yo-Yo Yo-Yo]]''' '''ability''', of all things.

* BitchInSheepsClothing: He's genuinely friendly at first until he thinks on a plan to take a big chunk of Adeleine's money should she fail to finish the "Bottomless Pit", and really expects her to do so. From here, he uses his friendly persona as a disguise.
* DidNotReadTheContract: Or the conditions in the "Bottomless Pit", in his case. Succeeding gives the customer (or customers, for that matter) the right to leave without paying, something he... [[{{Understatement}} doesn't took it very well with Adeleine and the kids]], [[HeadDesk to say the least.]]
* DidntSeeThatComing: He ''really'' didn't expect the Kirbies sharing the meal with Adeleine and thus winning the MegaMealChallenge, [[IdiotBall even though Adeleine asked for one seat for]] ''[[IdiotBall eleven people]]''.

* IdiotBall: He gets surprised by the fact that Ado carried her Kirbies with her to complete the "Bottomless Pit" challenge, yet he didn't notice something strange about her saying that she wanted one chair for ''eleven people''. [[DidntSeeThatComing Kawasaki should've seen that coming.]]

* SoreLoser: He bangs his head through the floor and bans Adeleine and her children from his restaurant just because they won the MegaMealChallenge fair and square.

* AgeLift: She's made into an young adult in the shorts and comics 11 to 13. [[spoiler:She's a young child like in the games and a teenager in the previous comics when she's living with Dedede.]]

* TookALevelInKindness: In Episode 7, [[spoiler:she conforts a crying and terrified General, who thought she was gonna hurt him, by petting him on the head and humming him a lullaby, curing his wounds while doing so. Then, when he collapses out of hunger, she takes him and the rest of the Kirbies to her home using her coat and protects them from the rain while also keeping an eye on them for their safety.
