He tries to move on with Rose and it seems to be going well. He still gets a WhatTheHellHero moment when he beats up Matt but Rose is still there for him. [[spoiler: That doesn't last. Rose loses her life and it leaves Asher very broken inside as we see in the sequel]]. He just can't catch a break.
