'''Spoilers Note:''' Three of the first generation's Nohrian retainers are the subject of a major plot point revealed only through supports and DLC. This spoiler is unmarked to avoid massive blocks of spoiler text.

[[folder:General Tropes]]
* ADayInTheLimelight: The ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC stars them in an AlternateUniverse where their parents died.
* AlternateUniverse: [[spoiler:Each kid comes from a different world than the others in ''Heirs of Fate'', where Anankos killed everyone they knew and forces them to participate in combat against each other for his amusement. Male Kana and the children of Nohrian descent came from worlds that chose ''Conquest'', while Female Kana and the Hoshidan children came from worlds that chose ''Birthright''. Shigure is the one exception, coming from the ''Heirs of Fate'' world, which is implied to stem from ''Revelation''.]]
* AnachronicOrder: The game implies that the children were born normally even if they aged abnormally, meaning that all the pregnancies happened offscreen at some point during the adventure without interrupting any missions. If Kana or Shigure end up with siblings, that means their mom went through two pregnancies back to back within a few weeks/months, or that they're twins who either way may end up years apart in age due to growing up in different deeprealms. [[BreadEggsBreadedEggs Or the pregnancies and nursing took place in the Deeprealms]], minimizing the maternity leave's impact on the rest of the army.
* BadassFamily: Each one is the child of a BattleCouple.
* CreatureBreedingMechanic: Pretty much their primary function, since the YearInsideHourOutside justification for their existence has nothing to do with the main plot, unlike the second gen of ''Awakening'' who were [[KidFromTheFuture time travelers]] trying to avert a BadFuture. Gameplay-wise, they are obtained the same way, by getting first gen to S support and then recruiting them in a paralogue. This time, the unit produced is tied to the father and the hair color comes from the mother, but they both still pass down skills and classes.
* DemotedToExtra: The second generation as a whole are inconsequential to the story this time around. Contrast to the children of ''Awakening'', who, while mostly optional, still had plot related reasons for appearing and one of them was a major character in the story. However, they get ADayInTheLimelight in the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, which focuses entirely on them.
* HalfHumanHybrid:
** Kana, Selkie, and Velouria are this by default, but all of them can potentially be this if Corrin marries their father (or mother, in Shigure's case, with Keaton and Kaden being added).
** Especially if a Female Corrin gets with Kaden or Keaton. Kana, Selkie, and/or Velouria will be [[UnevenHybrid half Wolfkin/Kitsune, a quarter dragon, and a quarter human]]. A Female Kana can end up in a similar situation if a Male Corrin marries Selkie or Velouria, becoming half-human, quarter Dragon, and quarter Wolfkin/Kitsune.
* HeroOfAnotherStory: The third batch of DLC has the ''Heirs of Fate'' story, where the second generation must succeed where their parents failed.
* JustFriends: For the first time in the ''Fire Emblem'' series, reaching an S-support does ''not'' automatically mean romance; some of the kids have decidedly platonic S-supports. It must be noted, however, that is only in the English localization. Even then, the romantic supports usually lead to them being each others' boyfriend/girlfriend, contrast to the ''Awakening'' children rushing into marriage.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: [[spoiler:In order to save Shigure from sacrificing himself, the other children in ''Heirs of Fate'' give up their own memories of their journey together. They forget how they saved their worlds and countless more, along with the friends they've made that they would have never known in their own worlds.]]
* LineageComesFromTheFather: The children are all linked to their fathers, save for Shigure (Azura) and Male Kana (Female Corrin).
* KissingCousins: Since many of the first generation characters are siblings, it's possible for Kana, Shiro, Siegbert, Forrest, and Kiragi to marry their aunts' children. Also, Shigure and [[spoiler:the Female Corrin]] are cousins by default and can marry each other as well. Asugi and Midori, who are always cousins regardless of who their fathers marry, are the sole exception, being PlatonicLifePartners if they S support (though only in the localized release, in the Japanese script they could marry, as first cousin marriage is much less taboo in Japan).
* MamaBear: All of them invoke this or PapaWolf in their (set) parents. Generally their recruitment paralogues [[BadassInDistress involve danger to them]] [[DistressBall in some shape or form]], and their set parent reacting [[BerserkButton appropriately]].
* MayDecemberRomance: With the exception of Kana, all of them can be romanced by Corrin, who's old enough to be their parent (and in the female Corrin's case, ''can'' be, if she marries their father), YearInsideHourOutside notwithstanding.
* MissingMom: In ''Heirs of Fate'', the children lament the loss of their fathers, but never even ''mention'' their mothers (or vice-versa for male Kana and Shigure). A necessary use of this trope to avoid CuttingOffTheBranches, and if they were to use the players pairings, then some of the children could potentially not exist (Kana and/or Nina, if said player went for the GayOption, or any child from a mixed marriage save for Shigure since he's the only one coming from a ''Revelations''-like world).
* ParentsAsPeople: All of them have been left in alternate realities by their parents for their own protection; they could only visit occasionally due to the differences in time and the kids aren't happy for that, but by the end of their supports, they realize that their parents' situations weren't exactly a cakewalk either.
* PlatonicLifePartners: A number of possible S supports between the second generation characters end with romantic advances being turned down, or romance never even coming up, ending in the characters being this in the English version. This is averted in the Japanese version.
* RoyalInbreeding: If any of the second generation are children of the Hoshido siblings and they in turn marry Corrin, then this happens, as they are marrying their blood related aunt/uncle. [[spoiler:Of course, the ''player'' knows that they are not actually blood related, but there is no way for Corrin to both know this and still marry their sibling's child.]]
* SharedFamilyQuirks: As in the Japanese release of ''Awakening'', the children's crit/skill quotes are based off of their father's (or mother's in male Kana's and Shigure's case), sometimes saying them verbatim. The ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC also allows them to have a conversation with their non-tied parent which reveals that they inherited a quirk from them.
* SchrodingersPlayerCharacter: Kana will always be the gender opposite Corrin's, meaning that you can only have one of them. [[spoiler:This is averted in the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, where the two meet, each armed with their father's/mother's Yato, which they later awaken into Omega Yato in the climactic battle.]]
* SiblingTeam: Any of the kids can form a team with their brothers Kana or Shigure using the Pair Up mechanic, as long as their mother is a female Corrin or Azura, respectively.
* SoleSurvivor: All twenty two of them are this in ''Heirs of Fate''. [[spoiler:In a twist, they are each the single survivor ''of their own world that Anankos conquered''.]]
* TakeUpMySword: In ''Heirs of Fate'', [[spoiler:the children who are royals by default end up inheriting their fallen parents' regalia weapons, with Shigure inheriting Azura's song and pendant. Percy also comes armed with an Arthur's Axe.]]
* ThemeNaming: The Japanese names of many of the Hoshido children are based on many IJN ships.
* TookALevelInBadass: Well, obviously, they can upgrade their classes once they hit L20. But the later the player comes to their chapters, the higher their starting levels are, up to and including L20. This also means they'll have an Offspring Seal in their inventory, which allows them to upgrade to an advanced class at a higher level (and [[DevelopersForesight maintain the stat boosts they'd get from leveling up normally]]).
* WarriorPrince: Both Kanas, Shigure, Siegbert, Shiro, Forrest, and Kiragi are this by default, but any of the other kids can possibly be the child of Corrin, Azura, Camilla, Hinoka, Elise, or Sakura, naturally making them this. [[spoiler:Ophelia]], as [[spoiler:Odin/Owain's daughter]], also technically counts.
** The Kanas are particularly notable because they're the prince/princess of two nations, Nohr and Hoshido. [[spoiler:Three if you count Valla and four if Kana's father or mother is Odin or Ophelia respectively.]]
* WeAreStrugglingTogether: [[spoiler:In chapter 5 of ''Heirs of Fate'', the Nohr and Hoshido children begin to fight and argue amongst themselves due to learning they came from worlds where Leo/Hinoka became King/Queen, and where some of their parents died. Downplayed, as they end up eventually getting over it as they are forced to work together and start getting along again.]]
* WhatTheHellHero: Most of them are ''not'' pleased that their parents sent them into another dimension, though how displeased they are and how long they're content to stay there varies from child to child.
* WhenYouComingHomeDad: Most of them develop complexes about how little they see their parents.
* YearInsideHourOutside: In order to protect their children, [[ParentsAsPeople the parents of each child]] sends them inside a PocketDimension... but due to differences in time passage, the kids come out aged up, and sometimes their physical/mental growth will vary from kid to kid (i.e. Ignatius, Dwyer, Shiro, Caeldori, and Asugi look like they're in their late teens, whereas Midori and Percy (and possibly, both Kanas) are still pre-teens). If their mother happens to be [[TokenMiniMoe Sakura or Elise]], or the father is [[AdorablyPrecociousChild Hayato]] (for Shigure and Rhajat), they will actually come out ''older'' than they are (with the possible exceptions of Percy, Midori, and Kana, who are at least around the same age).

->''"You look upset, Papa/Mama. I didn't mean to do it. I only wanted to protect you! But I'm small. And I felt...useless."''

The child of Corrin, whose gender is always the opposite of their parent. Though they are cheerful, obedient, and energetic, they are actually a quite lonely person who (especially in the case with Female Kana) cries often. They enjoy the fact that they're dragons. Their birthday is April 19th.

Just like their parent, their personality is different depending on gender, though the changes are more drastic. The female Kana is peppy, energetic, and loves helping others in any way she can, but is also more childish, can be a bit of a [[TheDitz ditz]], and cries more often. The male Kana is a bit more mature and willing to take on responsibilities, but also feels the need to prove himself to others (especially his mother). In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, Kana becomes the wielder of the Yato.

->'''Class:''' Nohr Prince/Princess, Nohr Noble (male, Heirs of Fate: V and End), Hoshido Noble (female, Heirs of Fate: V and End)\

----
* AccentUponTheWrongSyllable: Female Kana calls her father "pa-PA", using an archaic but still not technically wrong pronunciation.
* AdorablyPrecociousChild: Neither of them likes being treated like a little kid and really wants to be allowed to fight and protect their father/mother, despite their young age. Male Kana in particular goes out his way to do chores and patrols just to prove his maturity. They also use surprisingly complex vocabulary for their age and worry about their friends' CharacterTics, such as when Male Kana balks at Velouria eating food off the floor and tries to get her to stop.
* AffectionateNickname:
** The female Corrin refers to male Kana as "Kana-bean".
** If Izana is Kana's father, he likes to refer to him as "Squishbubble," "Kana Kabana," "Kana-bun," "Kanabee," and "Kan-o." "Squishbubble" is the one that appears more than once, however.
* AgeInappropriateDress: Rather worringly, female Kana's Nohr Noble outfit keeps the rather {{Stripperific}} female Nohr Noble outfit of female Corrin, despite being the youngest of any of the playable characters.
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: In the localization, male Kana's S-supports with Sophie, Caeldori, Velouria, and Soleil have him asking them to be his girlfriend or declaring he has a crush on them, but the girls reply that they're better off just being friends. While initially upset Kana does quickly get over it. Male Kana does have some options that either are explicitly romantic, or implied romantic, but most of the time male Kana seems to be more interested in friendship than romance anyway.
* AlternateSelf: Both Kanas meet in ''Heirs of Fate''. The female comes from a ''Birthright'' timeline, while the male comes from ''Conquest''.
* ApologeticAttacker: They'll sometimes say sorry after killing/knocking out an enemy.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Pretty much confirmed in the localization to be the youngest playable character, even by Second Generation standards. This is backed up by Kana noting even themselves as JustAKid, while even Elise and Midori are regarded as adults within their own contexts.
* BadassAdorable: Small and cute, but still able to expertly fight and utilize their dragon abilities.
* BattleCouple: They ''can'' S-support with the other kids, [[PlayingWithATrope but]] in the localized version, most of them end with them being JustFriends. While some of their platonic relationships [[MaybeEverAfter imply that it could develop into a romantic relationship in the future]] (i.e, Mitama, and Ophelia (male) Asugi, Hisame, Percy, and Siegbert (female). The only people the Kana's end up ''explicitly'' romantically involved with are Kiragi (for the female) and Selkie (for the male), as well as Nina and Rhajat in his paired endings with them.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Male Kana and Selkie, who hit it off immediately and bond over their shared ability to transform (while both thinking the other's transformation is cool) as well as their similar, unashamedly silly personalities. This is the main reason why Selkie is the only S-Support Male Kana has who immediately returns his affections after his love confession.
* BirthmarkOfDestiny: Is shown to have inherited the Mark of Naga in the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC, if Odin or Ophelia is their parent.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: They're both fundamentally different from [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening both Morgans]] in practically all ways that aren't "they're both the children of the Avatar".
** Female Morgan is [[InnocentlyInsensitive extremely insensitive]], [[AmbiguousInnocence often ambiguously meaning it or not]], on top of being both TheGadfly and a total {{Troll}}... often leading to coming off as a {{Jerkass}} in some supports whenever she goes too far. Female Kana is defined by being very nice and empathetic to everyone she meets, even if she has moments of silliness, and is very mature for her age. By contrast, while Female Kana routinely shows she's WiseBeyondTheirYears, Female Morgan (due to LaserGuidedAmnesia) is often the most immature of anyone in the army, often lacking a real understanding for the cause and effect of her actions.
** Male Morgan and Male Kana, on the other hand, completely differ on how much they interact with others. They're both similar in some aspects such as being more mellow than their peppier female counterpart, but that's it; Male Morgan is very easygoing and tends to enjoy doing his own thing by and large. He demonstrates more tact than his female counterpart, but often is shown in supports goofing off and doing what he wants at various points of time. Male Kana, meanwhile, [[AdorablyPrecociousChild is a lot more eager to demonstrate his maturity]], often going out of his way to do various chores for his parents.
* CheerfulChild: Subverted. Kana is said to be very happy but also lonely, and female Kana is especially prone to tears over this.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance:
** Only Kiragi/female Kana and Selkie/male Kana will get together right from the moment the love confessions are given.
** Male Kana's endings with Nina and Rhajat confirm that they [[RelationshipUpgrade eventually get together]], his S-Rank with Ophelia has a lot of [[ShipTease romantic subtext]], and the S-Rank with Mitama ends up with them agreeing to what can be seen as either a friendly outing or a romantic date. In female Kana's S-supports with Asugi, Hisame, Percy, and Siegbert they all promise to stay together with her forever. Judging on the way they are blushing they could be indirectly promising a romantic future.
* ChildhoodMarriagePromise: Female Kana's S-support with Kiragi ends with them promising to get married once they get old enough.
* CuteMonsterBoy: Male Kana is adorable. He can also turn into a monstrously powerful dragon. If his father is Keaton or Kaden, he can also be a Wolfskin or a Kitsune.
* CuteMonsterGirl: Especially if Kana's mothers are Velouria or Selkie, she can become a Wolfkin or Kitsune.
* DaddysGirl: Female Kana dearly loves her papa, and tries to spend as much time with him as possible.
* DivineParentage: Being either 1[=/=]4th First Dragon and 3[=/=]4ths human, or 1[=/=]4th First Dragon, 1[=/=]4th human and 1[=/=]2nd Wolfskin[=/=]Kitsune, [[spoiler:they bear the most brunt of Corrin's status as a demigod by being one themselves, despite being so young.]]
%%* DistaffCounterpart: When both versions of Kana meet each other in the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC.
* EverybodyHatesMath: Female Kana struggles with math in her supports with Siegbert.
* GenderBlenderName: In the English release, their name "Kana" is a completely feminine name, meaning that Male Kana is saddled with a girl's name.
* GenkiGirl: Female Kana is young, childish, and very energetic.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Depending on who Corrin marries, they can also be part [[HeinzHybrid Kitsune or Wolfskin]], along with having the ability to turn into a dragon. They're technically already one by default, seeing as Corrin is half-human, half-dragon.
* HatesBeingAlone: The thought of being alone is enough to make either Kana, especially the female version, start crying, as seen at the end of the Paralogue where you recruit them.
* InSeriesNickname:
** Male Kana is almost always referred to as "dragonspawn" by Rhajat. Additionally, the female Corrin calls him "Kana-bean" and if Izana is his father, Izana calls him "Squishbubble" among others.
** Female Kana is called "Little Miss Dragon" by Asugi.
* InterspeciesRomance: As a HalfHumanHybrid, they'll have one with Kiragi and Selkie if they reach an S-support with them, as well as in his paired endings with Nina and Rhajat.
* JustFriends: In the localization, male Kana's S-Supports with Sophie, Caeldori, Velouria, and Soleil end with him being rejected by them after confessing his love to them. They then elect to just stay friends. Most of his other S-supports he just mentions wanting to be best friends with the girl he S-ranks. Some of these supports, however can be interpreted as MaybeEverAfter with most of the supports ending with a promise to stay together, accompanied with a LuminescentBlush and the fact that they can no longer S-rank any other character. A good example of this is his S-supports with Ophelia and Mitama. If Kana S-ranks either Rhajat or Nina his ending text confirms that he eventually gets together with them when they get older.
* MaybeEverAfter: A number of their S-supports imply that they ''might'' eventually end up in a romantic relationship with their partner, but it's not made clear. Some notable examples being Mitama and Ophelia for the male and Asugi, Hisame, Percy, and Siegbert for the female. In Male Kana's S-Support with Mitama he writes a poem on their friendship, she loves it and [[LuminescentBlush is blushing as she says so]], and at the end of the support she offers him the chance to go out for a walk and then write poetry together. By Mitama's standards, the last one can count either as a friendly outing or a date. In his S-support with Ophelia he gives her a gem and she puts it on a ring to remember they are fated together, while both blushing they say they'll remain together forever.
* MommasBoy: Male Kana does his best to please his mother, going as far as doing chores for her just to hear her say "Thank you" to him.
* MundaneUtility: Female Kana uses her dragon powers to help her beat Asugi in a game of Hide and Seek. In her Supports with Shiro, she also mentions wanting to use them to get an apple out of a tree.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Their default hair color (used in ''Heirs of Fate'') is white with a beige-grey tinge, just like their dad[=/=]mom. It marks their dragonic heritage.
* NiceGuy: Female Kana is a bit more immature about it than Male Kana, but nonetheless both are as kindhearted as Corrin.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Female Kana knows people see her as a bit of a [[TheDitz ditz]], which she abuses in her Supports with Dwyer. She pretends to go along with his (very clearly bogus) martial arts training to get him to see that he's been acting like a jerk.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted. In ''Heirs of Fate'', both Kanas show up at the same time with the same name, distinguishable only by their gender.
* PermanentlyMissableContent: Won't be born if you pair a male Corrin with Niles or female Corrin with Rhajat.
* PhysicalGod: In their default ending, "the divine Kana" becomes worshiped as a god in later generations, like Tiki in ''Awakening''.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: They are the smallest and youngest of the children, but [[ChildProdigy they have full control over their dragon abilities]], making them exceedingly powerful in combat.
* PlatonicLifePartners: Many of Kana's S-supports in the localization end up with them just becoming good friends with their partner. The exceptions are Kiragi (Female) and Selkie (Male), who get a RelationshipUpgrade at S-rank; and with Nina and Rhajat for Male Kana in their paired endings. [[MaybeEverAfter With some wriggling space, Mitama, Ophelia,(Male) Asugi, Hisame, Percy, and Siegbert (Female) may count as this too.]]
* ThePollyanna: They are ever cheerful and upbeat. It's more noticeable for the female, though.
* PrecociousCrush: They are among the youngest of the children, but they can develop feelings for the other Second Gens (many of which are implied to be in their late teens or early adulthood) if they reach an S Support. Male Kana can crush on several of the older girls, such as Sophie, Caeldori, Velouria, and Soleil, while female Kana is implied to develop a crush on Asugi, Hisame, and Siegbert if she S-ranks them.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"This ends now!"''\
''"I won't surrender!"''\
''"You won't stop me!"''
* PointyEars: They inherit pointed ears from Corrin, which serves as an indicator that they're part dragon like their parent.
* PrimAndProperBun: Female Kana has one, keeping her apparently long hair out of the way.
* {{Reincarnation}}: Like their father/mother, Kana is implied to be the past life/reincarnation of Morgan in their skinship sessions.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Their name bears a strong resemblance to Kanna-Kamuy, an Ainu dragon-god of thunder and lightning. It also pairs with their parent's default name in Japan, ''Kamui'', the Japanese equivalent of "''kamuy''".
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: They're royals by blood and more than willing to help their parents save the world.
* RoyaltySuperpower: As a descendant of the First Dragons, [[spoiler:and in fact the grandchild of Anankos]], they are able to use Dragon Veins.
* SemiDivine: [[spoiler:Being the grandchild of Anankos, they are 1[=/=]4th divine at the least and a demigod in their own right]].
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Just like their dad/mom, Kana likes walking around barefoot, is overall very optimistic, and [[ApologeticAttacker may apologize after attacking]].
** The ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC shows they almost always inherit a personality trait or ability from their non-Corrin parent. For example, if Azura is female Kana's mother, she can sing just like her, and if Takumi is Male Kana's father, he shares his insecurity issues.
* ShonenHair: Male Kana's outrageously spiky hair could give many of Shonen Jump's protagonists a run for their money.
* SignificantBirthDate: Their birthday, April 19th, is ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'''s Japanese and European release date.
* StepfordSmiler: Female Kana's loneliness is actually crippling enough that she cries whenever she's alone, as shown in her supports with Forrest, but she nonetheless tries to keep up a cheerful demeanor in front of the rest of the army.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: By default Kana has access to all the draconic abilities Corrin has. However, they also inherit a permanent weakness to dragon slaying weapons.[[spoiler:Like Corrin all this is inherited from their grandfather, the Dragon God Anankos.]] Kana could potentially inherit the Mark of Naga if you have the Female Corrin marry Odin or if you have the Male Corrin marry Ophelia.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Of Morgan in ''Awakening''. They are the children of Corrins of their respective games. The girl is peppy and emotional, while the boy is more relaxed and thoughtful.
* TakeUpMySword: In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, they end up wielding Corrin's Yato.
* TokenMiniMoe: Kana is, by their own admission, the youngest child of the second generation children, being even younger than Midori and Percy.
* TraumaticSuperpowerAwakening:
** In their Paralogue, their dragon powers awaken after seeing Corrin (their father or mother) being attacked by enemies.
** In ''Heirs of Fate'', the grief of being separated from his mother causes male Kana to transforms into a dragon for the first time.
* WarriorPrince: Or Princess. Despite being inexperienced, Kana can be just as capable as his or her parents.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: Both Kanas may be innocent and enthusiastic children by nature, but they're nonetheless contrasted by being shockingly mature for their age. Male Kana outright seeks to prove themselves by finding activities to work for, Female Kana is perceptive enough to string Dwyer along in his "Slappyface" teachings and realize he's lying, and both Kanas routinely display complex vocabulary and an active grasp on life and death. Make no mistake, they're still kids and act appropriately for their age, but they're so remarkably mature for their ages that it's almost easy to forget they're the youngest members of the army by far.

* AscendedExtra: Just another unit in the main story, but ''Heirs of Fate'' sees him become the main character.
* BadassBureaucrat: His solo ending mentions that following the war he served the Hoshidan government's administration for the rest of his life.
* BarrierMaiden: In ''Heirs of Fate'' he becomes this because not only he [[spoiler: has Azura's magical pendant]], but as said above he is supposed to be the only one capable of [[spoiler: performing a MagicMusic that will complete a world-changing Prophecy. 160* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation females (except Soleil in the Western versions).
* BigGood: In ''Heirs of Fate'', he is the one who brings the Hoshidan and Nohrian children together and directs their efforts to bring down Anankos.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Bonds with Mitama in their supports over their mutual love for [[CulturedBadass the arts]].
* BirthmarkOfDestiny: [[spoiler:If Odin is his father, the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC reveals that like Ophelia he too inherited the Mark of Naga.]]
* TheComicallySerious: He's more social than his mother, meaning he's more willing to hang out with people, but shares her unflappable demeanor. This leads to his serious nature being paired up with the wacky shenanigans and personalities of the more bizarre children in Support conversations. Ophelia, for example, rants about Shigure's [[LargeHam "divine and magical singing"]] while he stands there utterly baffled.
* CulturedBadass: A very talented artist (specifically in painting and singing), and he can still hold his own in battle.
* DeadpanSnarker: It's not apparent at first, but Shigure can be ''very'' sarcastic. A great example is [[https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CpIjjD0UEAAK0BA.jpg:large his quote when fed terrible food at the mess hall]].
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Shigure's Supports with his sibling show that he frequently goes out into forests to talk to the native wildlife.
* GoingNative: After a fashion: His name is Hoshidan, his starting class is the Hoshido-only Sky Knight (his mother's default reclassing option), and his solo ending has him working as an official for Hoshido's government. In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, [[spoiler:when he reminisces about his mother, he's wearing a kimono and writing at a Hoshidan-style home while she's watching over him.]] It could be Azura's love of Hoshidan culture is shared by him, but he doesn't indicate bias favoritism towards it like she does, due to not having faced any kind of heavy discrimination from Nohrians like her.
* GoldAndWhiteAreDivine: Much like his mother, Shigure's main color palette is white and gold, with both his class promotions having the same palette. Additionally, he has HeavenlyBlue as accenting, just to drive the point further.
* GriefSong: Sings ''Lost In Thoughts All Alone'' to grieve for his caretakers who died protecting him.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Depending who his father is, he has the potential to use Dragonstones or Beaststones.
* KissingCousins: If paired him up with [[spoiler:the Female Corrin]], who is his first cousin once removed, or [[spoiler:Female Kana]], who is his second cousin.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler: Subverted in ''Heirs of Fate''. He attempted to do this by singing the 4th verse of Lost in Thoughts All Alone, but Lilith frees the other children and sends them to stop him. Instead [[SpiritAdvisor his mother's spirit sings with him]], allowing him to survive.]]
* IdenticalGrandson: He's said to be a dead-ringer to [[spoiler:Cadros, the first king of Valla and Shigure's ancestor]].
* LarynxDissonance: In-universe; in his and Azura's C-support, they try singing together, but Shigure realizes he's no longer able to hit the same pitch as his mother. Azura has to explain that he grew up and his voice got deeper.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: Looks like his mom, is a good singer, is a very calm spear-wielder, etc. The primary difference is that Shigure is more open and social than Azura.
* LittleNo: Shigure gives this along with a BigNo when, at the end of his Paralogue, Azura apologizes and tells him that the Deeprealms village where he was raised was destroyed and everyone there was murdered.
* LoveConfession:
-->''Of all the songs I know, none of them can capture how deeply I love you. No sound is sweeter than your voice.''
* MeaningfulName: "Shigure" can refer either to the Japanese word for "drizzle", keeping the theme naming with his mother, or to [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_destroyer_Shigure_%281935%29 an Imperial Japanese Navy destroyer]]. The destroyer boat, known as one of [=IJN=]'s Lucky Ships, survived several battles that otherwise slaughtered its entire fleet, much like how Shigure is the sole survivor of his Deeprealm.
* MyNameIsInigoMontoya: In ''Heroes'' his usual line when selected during battle is a cheery "I'm Shigure."
* NiceGuy: Very helpful, kind, and compassionate.
* NotSoAboveItAll:
** He's usually calm and subdued, but if his father is resident LargeHam Odin, Shigure willingly asks for an exam in his... Odin-isms in the ''Hoshidian Festival Scramble'' DLC. And he's as into it as Odin and Ophelia.
** If Niles is his father, Shigure will slip in some of the same type of innuendo Niles is known for, and Niles actually seems a bit mortified hearing his son talk like that.
** Additionally, regardless of father, he tells Selkie that buzzing houses gets old faster than she'd think, almost as if he's done that exact sort of prank before.
* PaletteSwap: He inherits his mother's light blue color palette for his Sky Knight line of classes.
* PlatonicLifePartners: His non-sibling S-rank supports with Female Kana, Soleil, and Midori end with them as these.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"Let's hear your SwanSong!"''\
''"An encore? If you insist!"''\
''"It's showtime!"''\
''"This show is over!"''
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: He's of royal blood just like his mom, and every bit as willing to fight to defend the world.
* RoyaltySuperpower: As a descendant of the First Dragons, he is able to use Dragon Veins.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Usually the sensitive guy to one of his various potential brothers all being the Manly Man.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** If his father is the Male Corrin, Shigure inherited his father's [[FriendToAllLivingThings love for animals]], and they both have a case of SurvivorsGuilt.
** If fathered by Arthur, the Children DLC states that he inherits at least a part of [[ButtMonkey his father's]]... [[BornUnlucky bad luck.]]
** Should Mitama be his sister, they both share an interest in art. He also inherits his father's [[WeAllDieSomeday worldview]], even if he doesn't let it affect his personality overall.
** If his father is Niles, he inherits his penchant for [[DoubleEntendre Double Entendres]], though he seems more oblivious to how it comes off than Niles.
* SilkHidingSteel: RareMaleExample. He's polite, nice, and generally pretty calm, though not to the extent of [[TheStoic seeming emotionless]].
* SoleSurvivor:
** [[spoiler: In ''Birthright'' if his father is Kaze who does not have an A ranked support with Corrin, then he will be the last of his direct family left since Kaze will die saving Corrin, Azura will die at the end, and his potential sister Midori is never born.]]
** He's the sole survivor of his village in the Deeprealm, whose inhabitants were slaughtered by raiders.
* SpearCounterpart: He is this to [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Lucina]] in some respects. He's tied to an opposite gendered parent than the rest of the children. He both highly respects and has similar specialties to his mother, though he can't be a singer for story and game balance purposes. And he will always have his mother's hair color, regardless of his father (unlike Kana, who will always get the hair color of their non-Corrin parent, even if male). This is much more prominent in ''Heirs of Fate''. Interestingly, he shares his [[Creator/MatthewMercer English voice actor]] with Lucina's father.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Shigure essentially looks like a GenderFlip of his mother. Additionally, [[spoiler:''Heirs of Fate'' reveals he bares a strong resemblance to his ancestor, King Cadros aka the founder of Valla.]]
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: Shigure has his mother Azura's bright yellow eyes. [[spoiler:Azura's mother Arete and Lilith also have these, hinting at their connection to Valla.]]
* SurvivorsGuilt: His dialogue in his Paralogue and some of his supports, specifically with Sophie, show that the death of all his friends and caretakers weighs very heavily on him.
** [[spoiler:''Heirs of Fate'' reveals that Shigure is from a universe where everyone else failed and died to Anankos in ''Revelation''. This drives his DeathSeeker later in the DLC.]]
* TragicKeepsake: His portrait in the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC shows him wearing Azura's pendant, and knowing the fates of the entire first generation...
** His ''hairstyle'' can be considered as such. If he supports with Sophie, he tells her that right before coming into the army, he and his best friend from his Deeprealm switched 'styles as a joke. However, everyone in the Deeprealm village was slaughtered and Shigure barely managed to escape, so he kept using his friend's hairstyle to honor them.
* WarriorPrince: He clearly inherited his mother's skill with a lance and is technically a royal of two [[spoiler:(actually three)]] nations, like her.

[[caption-width-right:270:[[ExhaustedEyeBags Sleepy Butler]]]]
->''"As if I don't have enough trouble."''

The son of Jakob. Though he has an apathetic personality, he has extremely great potential. Thinks often of his comrades. He is a naturally skilled butler, and is just as skilled at combat. He has the most hidden talents. His birthday is November 16th.

->'''Class''': Troubadour, Butler (default class for Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/YuichiIguchi (Japanese), Creator/GideonEmery (English, ''Fates''), Jason Palmer (English, ''Heroes'', credited as Michael Chapman)
----
* TheAce: He excels in everything from combat and stealth to house keeping and cooking.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Tries to compete with his dad in one or another manner. [[spoiler:In a twist, he is already better at doing household chores than Jakob, but Jakob is still the better fighter. His solo ending mentions that his tea extraction methods continue to be used to this very day.]]
** He's also this for many of the other children. Asugi spent an entire day tailing him to figure out just how Dwyer is able to best everyone at everything, only to discover that he does absolutely nothing but nap between daily chores.
* BattleButler: Can become a literal one if he promotes to Butler.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation females (except Soleil in the Western versions).
* BirdsOfAFeather: His supports with Mitama have them bonding over healing people and their shared love of sleeping (when they're not having SnarkToSnarkCombat that is).
** Also has this with Velouria. His A-support with her reveals one of the reasons he felt a connection with her was because they both had a lazy side.
* BrilliantButLazy: He's actually pretty good at being a butler, but he's often too apathetic (or desiring of a nap) to utilize his skills to the fullest.
* CallingYourAttacks: Has a technique called "slappyface", which he declares before using.
* DeadpanSnarker: Constantly snarky and sarcastic, which is accompanied by his dry tone.
** His appearance has been compared to [[Manga/DeathNote L]], especially if he has black hair. It's also quite ironic since Dwyer loves to sleep while L doesn't sleep at all.
* DependingOnTheArtist: His 'canon' hair is a dull grey in ''Fates'', but a shiny silver in many external artworks, including in ''Heroes''. In his Hoshidan Festival CG, his hair also turns a dark blue.
* {{Guyliner}}: It appears that he has these in his portrait, and his ''Fire Emblem 0 (Cipher)'' artworks as well.
* HeCleansUpNicely: His [[http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/fireemblem/images/6/66/Dwyer_%28Yukata_CG_DLC%29.png/revision/latest?cb=20160316163033 artwork]] from the ''Festival of Bonds'' DLC shows that he is actually quite handsome if he just straightens his hair and posture a little and wears more bright clothing.
* HiddenDepths: Don't let his disheveled appearance and apathetic personality fool you, Dwyer is an incredibly hard worker and takes his duties very seriously. His personal motto is "Work before rest." He also has a fiercely competitive side, though it only comes out when dealing with his father.
* JackOfAllStats: Has evenly spread out stats, with HP and Strength being his best stats.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Much like his father but to a lesser extent, he can come as halfhearted and blunt most of the time, but he's actually a nice guy at heart.
* LazyBum: Jakob seems to believe so, and Dwyer's apathetic personality and tendency to nap on the job aren't helping his case.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: Played with. He inherited several of his father's personality traits (a penchant to snark, stubbornness, [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold crassness that hides caring]]) and skills as a butler, but Dwyer is also not above shirking his duties, something Jakob would never even consider doing if his life depended on it.
* LooksLikeCesare: Seems so. This is even more notable if his mother has dark hair, like Nyx or Kagero.
* LoveAtFirstSight: Should he S-rank the Female Corrin, he reveals this was the case when he first met her when in her Private Quarters.
* LoveConfession:
-->''I don't lift a finger for just anyone... but I would do anything in the world for you. ''
* MessyHair: Very, very messy!
* MustHaveCaffeine: Most of his supports with Jakob and his mother involve coffee, with and his Paralogue has the implication that he also enjoys it himself.
* NiceGuy: It's hidden under layers of DeadpanSnarker and LazyBum, but Dwyer is a actually a nice guy who generally enjoys pleasing others, though apparently doesn't like being ''told'' he's nice. That last bit is actually a [[SharedFamilyQuirks shared trait]] with his father.
* OnlySaneMan: Dwyer's Support conversations tend to have him as the voice of reason dealing with a wacky compatriot.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"You've got a lot of nerve."''\
''"I just want to go home..."''\
''"Get out of the way."''\
''"Let's get this over with."''
* TheRival: Becomes this to his father, of all people.
* SecretArt: He apparently considers slappyface to be this.
* SeriousBusiness: Apparently, going by his supports with his father, brewing coffee.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** His supports with his father reveal that Jakob's abrasive personality and rudeness is genetic, as Dwyer is ''incredibly'' rude to his father (though it likely wasn't helped by Jakob belittling Dwyer's coffee-making). Additionally, like Jakob, Dwyer does not like being ''told'' he's [[NiceGuy actually nice]], and random conversation in your My Castle reveals that if Jakob isn't helping Corrin he's most likely napping.
** Should his mother be Setsuna, he shares her lazy nature and has a similar [[VerbalTic slow speech pattern]] to her.
** Should his mother be Charlotte, killing enemies bare-handed runs in the family.
* ShipTease: Interestingly, his A support with Velouria has subtext of this.
--> '''Velouria''': None of that was work. It was enjoying what life brought me. Like you.
--> '''Dwyer''': Oh? Like me? I see.
--> '''Velouria''': [[LuminescentBlush *sniff, sniffity*]]
--> '''Dwyer''': [[LuminescentBlush Erm...]]
* StalkerWithoutACrush: A male Corrin apparently had a tear in his outfit that [[ObsessivelyOrganized bothered him enough to follow the former to try to fix it in their C Support]].
-->'''Corrin''': Dwyer? Are you stalking me?
-->'''Dwyer''': Not you. Your sleeve. If you wouldn't mind...? Your sleeve...has a little hole...right...there. May I?
-->'''Corrin''': Fix it? Uh, sure.
* SupremeChef: Gameplay-wise, if you make him the chef in the restaurant, the stuff he cooks boost all of your characters' stats (+1 for all stats, additional +1 for random stat) for the next battle. He is in the same cooking category (Delicious) as Mitama, Mozu, Caeldori and Flora.
** Also a case of GameplayAndStoryIntegration. In all of his supports involving food and drink, Dwyer's cooking and brewing is noted to be utterly superb. Even Percy's wyvern can't get enough of his coffee.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: He shares a few similarities with Brady from ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Awakening]]''. Both are healers clad in dark clothing, have a tendency of slouching, and come off as standoffish yet they're also genuinely nice.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Drink in his case, and it's coffee. His C and A supports with Jakob involve [[SeriousBusiness them getting into competition over it]], and his Paralogue has Jakob mention he had to get Dwyer his favorite type of coffee bean. Additionally, if going by his supports with Corrin and his lines for purchasing items, Mint tea is also high up on his list.
* TheUnfavorite: If his mother is Corrin or Azura, then he is this to his father since Jakob is overall nicer to Kana and Shigure than he is to Dwyer.
* WellDoneSonGuy: While still considering his father a rival, he looks up to Jakob and wants him to recognize him.
* WhiteMage: A mounted healer. Can become a CombatMedic (as a Butler) or a mounted RedMage (as a Strategist).

->''"I have to come to the rescue! I bet Daddy will even be proud of me!"''

The daughter of Silas. She is extremely prone to making mistakes, but is always optimistic and cheerful. She named her favorite horse Avel. She talks to herself more than anyone. Her birthday is July 21st.

->'''Class''': Cavalier, Paladin (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Sakura Nakamura (Japanese), Creator/StephanieSheh (English)
----
* AllGirlsLikePonies: Her relationship with Avel aside, she's very fond of horses in general. Her supports with Forrest reveal that she likes clothing with silhouettes of horses on it, or fabric that's the same color as Avel's coat.
* AlliterativeFamily: Possible if '''S'''ilas marries any of '''S'''elena, '''S'''etsuna, or '''S'''akura to get '''S'''ophie. Can be taken further if Sophie marries '''S'''higure, '''S'''hiro, or '''S'''iegbert.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation boys.
* CoolHorse: Averted. Her horse Avel is an ''extreme'' handful outside of battles. Unfortunately for Sophie, he doesn't always listen to her.
* ClothingDamage: Her personal Skill strips enemies of their clothes and leaves them in their underwear.
* CovertPervert: In the ''Hoshidian Festival Scramble'' DLC, should her mother be Oboro, Sophie lets slip that she's actually stripping the enemy on purpose. And in her conversation with Peri as her mother, she admits to have grown to actually like seeing the enemies' clothing flying off them.
* CuteClumsyGirl: She is prone to making mistakes. Her personal skill, Mischievous[[note]]In the Japanese version it's actually ''called'' Clumsy[[/note]], even causes her opponent's clothes to be ripped apart while lowering their defense!
* GenkiGirl: She's said to be cheery and happy all the time.
* IJustWantToBeBadass: She aspires to be a great knight like her father, but her clumsy tendencies get in her way.
* ItNeverGetsAnyEasier: Going by one of her quotes if she defeats an enemy.
-->"When does it get easy?"
* LoveConfession:
-->''I love you! I'm sure you, me, and our children will make a perfect family. Oh, and Avel too, of course.''
* MoodyMount: As much as she loves Avel, he hasn't returned her affections. He disobeys her frequently, causes random mischief (like kicking an old lady), and even eats Sophie's hair once.
* NoodleIncident: In her C support with Hisame, she mentions that the last time she tried to use chop sticks, she almost burned the house down.
* PluckyGirl: No matter how many times she goofs, she never loses her spirit.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"I have no choice!"''\
''"I will do my duty!"''\
''"You asked for it!"''\
''"Good night!"''
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Should her mother be Felicia or Setsuna, she will share her clumsiness with her mother.
** If a male Kana is her brother, she tends to bring flowers to a female Corrin like the latter does in their C supports...only, it's PlayedForLaughs here rather than heartwarming.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute:
** Of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Cynthia]], as both strive to be great heroes like their fixed parents, but their clumsiness frequently gets in the way.
** Her constant bringing up Avel in conversation is also reminiscent of Cherche's obsession with Minerva.
* ThongOfShielding: Despite being a horse mounted unit, Sophie (and other female cavaliers as well with the exception of Peri) wears a ''really'' revealing thong to battle.

The daughter of Kaze. She loves to make medicine and has a curious mind. This makes her a polite and honorable student. She also loves her father and likes to brag about him whenever the opportunity presents itself. Has the most acute sense of taste. Her birthday is May 17th.

->'''Class''': Apothecary, Merchant (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/MarikaKouno (Japanese), Sarah Blandy (English)
----
* AdorablyPrecociousChild: She really is serious about learning medicine and is constantly scouring books for new treatments but gets embarrassed so easily that it's hard to take her seriously.
* AgentScully: Show shades of this in her C-and B-rank support with Ophelia; she thinks fortune-telling in general is fake and [[BrutalHonesty doesn't hesitate to tell Ophelia that her fortune-telling methods are made-up nonsense]]. It becomes ironic if Orochi or Nyx is Midori's mother.
* BadassAdorable: She's capable of defending herself, and is very cute at the same time. Her tendency to speak in third-person also adds the cuteness appeal.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation males (aside from Asugi in Western territories).
* BornLucky: Her personal skill, Lucky Charm, increases the activation rate of all skills that use Luck by 20%.
* CatchPhrase: "Well, the fact is..." She mainly says this whenever she wants to prove a point.
* CustomUniform: Along with her green Merchant outfit, she has a unique, green-colored Ninja and Master Ninja uniform like her father. They are also both far more modest compared to the usual female version of the uniforms.
* CuteBookworm: She's an avid student of herbal medicine, studying remedies in her free time.
* DaddysGirl: Loves to brag about her father.
* FriendlyTickleTorture: Accidentally inflicted on Male Kana in their supports. No matter which pressure point she tried, Kana was sent into a laughing fit. He gradually becomes used to it, so this phases out by the end of the A-Rank support.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: Despite the fact that her personal skill implies she's BornLucky, Midori also inherits Kaze's negative luck modifier. Much like Percy, the only way for Midori to have a positive luck modifier is to be the daughter of an Corrin with Luck as her boon.
* GirlishPigtails: With two tiny bows, not unlike the younger-looking Robin from ''Awakening''.
* KissingCousins: In the Japanese version, she can potentially reach S-Support with Asugi, who is her cousin due to their fathers being brothers. Like Lucina and Owain, it becomes more platonic in the localization.
** Especially if you marry the two brothers to Hinoka and Sakura, then hook her and Asugi up with each other.
* LikeMotherLikeDaughter: Should her mother be Orochi, she will inherit her herbal healing skills.
* LoveConfession:
-->''True love is so sweet! Like the sweetest thing ever! Except maybe a box of chocolate!''
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "Green," referencing her affinity for herbs, association with good luck[[note]]Her Personal Skill icon is even a green four-leaf clover, which is often associated with good luck in western culture[[/note]], and her father's green hair, which will manifest in her green eyebrows regardless of what color the rest of her hair is. ''However'', it's also [[NonIndicativeName impossible for her hair to be fully green]] unless her mother is a green-haired[[note]]Colors #5, #15, & #25[[/note]] female Corrin; the closest possibilities are Beruka and Setsuna, whose hairs are light and dark aqua, respectively.
* TheMedic: Her hobby is making medicines, her solo ending mentions that following the war she developed various new medicines, and scholars state that she managed to save more lives than anyone else in history.
* MyGreatestFailure: If her mother is Nyx, then her conversation with her in the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC reveals that Midori regards her inability to create a cure for her {{Curse}} as this.
* NiceGirl: A personality trait that she inherited from her father. [[LikeFatherLikeSon Like father, like daughter]] indeed. She also fits into the "Sweet" category (along with Oboro and Elise, which adds +1 Luck to those affected) if she's made as a chef for your restaurant, which is more or less fitting to her personality.
* NotTheIntendedUse: While Midori's personal skill, Lucky Charm, is meant for skills such as Salvage Blow, Profiteer, and Good Fortune, players have noted that it also stacks with the skills Hoshidan Unity [[note]]All skill activation rates are increased by 10%[[/note]] and Quixotic [[note]]Skill activation rates increased by 15%[[/note]]. Since Midori is able to inherit the Hoshido Noble class if the female Corrin is her mother, she can also access the Dragon Ward skill [[note]]Allies adjacent to the user have a (Luck x 0.5)% chance of receiving half damage from enemy attacks[[/note]] and the said Hoshidan Unity skill. This had made players to make her more of a support unit instead with a combination of Dragon Ward, Quixotic, and Hoshidan Unity. Bonus points if she is also reclass into a support class that has a naturally high luck cap and use staves such as a Priestess, Strategist, or Maid.
* OlderThanTheyLook: In the Western release, Midori fits into this. One of her support conversations with her mother mentions that people ask Midori where her parents are when she's an adult. However, Midori is about the ''only'' person who insists that she's an adult, and she's not consistent on this either (such as her A support with her mother, where she asks if it would be a bad idea to go into the woods without adult supervision). This makes it rather vague as to whether she truly is an adult, or just wants to be seen as one.
* PermanentlyMissableContent: Unlike the other children, this can happen ''even if her father gets married''. [[spoiler:In ''Birthright'', Kaze has to survive chapter 15 by reaching A rank with Corrin. The paralogue will unlock immediately afterwards if he's married]] so if this condition is not met, Midori's paralogue will ''never'' unlock, even if she's almost certainly already been born. This was necessary to prevent inconsistencies in her supports.
* PlatonicLifePartners: With Shigure, if they reach S support and are not siblings. Asugi as well in the localization.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"My diagnosis? You're done!"''\
''"Take your medicine!"''\
''"Here's a bitter pill!"''\
''"This might sting a little!"''
* SharedFamilyQuirks: If her mother is Orochi, she shares her habit of referring to herself in the [[ThirdPersonPerson third person]] as well as her interest and skill with medicinal herbs.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: If Felicia is her mother, Midori looks exactly like a younger, purple-eyed, pigtailed version of her mother. Midori's fringe is even nearly identical to Felicia's, and their eye shape is identical (Midori's being slightly wider to indicate her youth). Midori shares a number of personality traits from Felicia, too, such as her eagerness to help, determination, and slight recklessness.
* ThirdPersonPerson: Sometimes slips into such speech patterns, showcasing her youth.
* TokenMiniMoe: Midori is considered to be one of the youngest of the second generation children, around Kana and Percy's age.

The son of Ryoma. Aims to be like his father and considers him a worthy rival. Friendly, but the type of person who hates to lose. He finds no greater joy than fighting the strong and always hungers for victory. The best arm-wrestler. His birthday is August 22nd.

->'''Class''': Spear Fighter, Swordmaster (Heirs of Fate)\
'''Voiced by''': Yasuaki Takumi (Japanese), Creator/KaijiTang (English)
----
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido females, as well as second generation Nohr characters Nina and Ophelia in ''Revelation''.
* BigBrotherMentor: Plays this role towards many of the second generation kids, most notably male Kana and his younger cousin, Kiragi.
* TheBigGuy: Of Hoshido's second generation. Not only is he one of the physically largest, but he's the strongest too.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Has this relationship with Caeldori in their supports, both worrying about being in the shadows of their respective fathers.
* BoisterousBruiser: He's very strong and competitive, but also has a tender personality and a very informal manner of speaking despite being heir to the throne.
* CallingTheOldManOut: Shiro has a minor one at the end of his Paralogue, mainly calling Ryoma out on not telling him he's royalty and heir to the throne of Hoshido. Shiro specifically seems to be annoyed that he was treated by his caretakers as special, but didn't know ''why''.
* CommonalityConnection: His support line with Nina. Both love watching buddy-comedy plays, and though he initially doesn't see them in [[YaoiFangirl quite the same way]] she does, he comes to support her hobby and praises her imaginative nature . Should they S-Rank together, his first date venue is a play solely focused on the relationship between two men.
* CustomUniform: His Spear Fighter and Spear Master outfits are predominantly red. He also gets Ryoma's Swordmaster outfit, should you reclass him.
* EmotionalBruiser: Shiro, in contrast to his father, is much more willing to express himself and how he feels regardless of what others think.
* {{Foil}}: To Siegbert as the sons of Ryoma and Xander, Corrin's two older brothers. While Siegbert grew up fully aware of his royal status and idolizes Xander to a fault, Shiro was left in the dark about his heritage and hates Ryoma for his absence during Shiro's childhood.
* FriendToAllChildren: Shiro's supports with the younger characters show that he is actually very good with kids and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. This especially shows in his non-sibling supports with both Kanas, doing his best to keep male Kana entertained during a rainy day and giving female Kana piggyback rides and spinning her around in circles. He also eagerly helps his younger cousin, Kiragi, out with his hunting by carrying him across a river.
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: He became a spear fighter specifically because polearms have the weapon triangle advantage against his father's sword.
* GlassCannon: When activated, his personal skill, Noble Cause, makes both him ''and'' the enemy deal more damage to each other.
* HeroicBuild: He's ripped!
* HeroicResolve: Shiro's personal skill, Noble Cause, gives him a small boost in power so long as he is being supported by an ally who is not at full health.
* HotBlooded: Very much so, just like dear old dad.
* {{Irony}}: [[spoiler:In ''Heirs of Fate'' he states that Siegbert's weapon Siegfried likely killed his father in the worlds that chose Conquest, while he actually holds his father's blade Raijinto, the weapon that actually killed Ryoma.]]
* JapaneseSpirit: Shiro embodies the core qualities of ''Koyuu'' (natural talent), ''Chie'' (righteous convictions), and ''Kakan'' (desire to make himself better).
* LeeroyJenkins: His strategy in combat tends to be just rushing at his opponents blindly.
* LightningBruiser: His class makes him seem like a MightyGlacier, but because of Ryoma's stupidly high Speed stat, Shiro will end up being a fast, and hard hitting unit with ease, especially since most of his potential mothers have either good, or solid Speed stats as well.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: In his A support with his mother, it's revealed that Ryoma said something similar to Shiro regarding making his mother happy, with each mother having a slight variation of explaining that Ryoma said he'd be a failure of a husband if he couldn't keep his wife happy. If his mother is Camilla, Kagero, Oboro, Mozu, or Rinkah, she even ''name-drops'' the trope.
** Promotion-wise, he wears the same armor his father does if you promote him to Swordmaster rather than a normal kimono the class comes with. If you choose, he can wear his father's mask from the Accessory store.
* LovableJock: He's very strongly built and has a competitive personality, but he's still a very friendly and caring guy who is good with children.
* LoveConfession:
--> ''I'm stronger with you at my side. Stay with me forever.''
* MeaningfulName: In the localization, his name is Shiro, which is Japanese for 'white', the main color theme for Hoshido.
* MommasBoy: His supports with his mother imply that he grew up being closer to her than his father, and in his ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' conversation with Elise, he reveals that he desperately wants to be spoiled by her, [[SharedFamilyQuirks which is a trait he got from her]].
* NobleMaleRoguishMale: The Roguish to Siegbert's Noble.
* PaletteSwap: A red Spear Fighter uniform.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"Ready for this?"''\
''"Sorry to do this."''\
''"Any last words?"''\
''"And...go!"''
* ReallyRoyaltyReveal: Shiro was never told that he was a prince during his stay in the Deeprealms.
* RedOniBlueOni:
** The red to Siegbert's blue. Hell, his Swordmaster's armor is red like his father's to contrast Siegbert's purple paladin armor, the latter of which matches Xander's.
** He also has this dynamic with Asugi.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Just like his dad.
* RoyaltySuperpower: As a descendant of the First Dragons, he is able to use Dragon Veins.
* ShoutOut: His supports with Caeldori have him reference the famous [[PublicServiceAnnouncement Smokey The Bear]] "Only you can prevent forest fires" slogan.
-->'''Shiro''': Lamps out at bedtime, everybody! Only you can prevent fires!\
'''Caeldori''': Shiro! Not so loud. You'll wake the poor people just getting to bed.\
'''Shiro''': Aw, c'mon! [[IAlwaysWantedToSayThat I've always wanted to say that]].\
'''Caeldori''': "Only you can prevent fires," though? [[LampshadeHanging We're on perimeter patrol tonight, not fire watch]].
** Hilariously, the one time he ''doesn't'' shout about fire safety, one can guess what happens.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Shiro got Ryoma's habit of [[{{Determinator}} never giving up]], as well as having a habit of wanting to make his mother happy.
** Should his mother be [[TeamMom Camilla]], it's clear where Shiro's TeamDad traits came from. Additionally, he's one of the children of hers in the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC who's revealed to have her.... [[{{Yandere}} possessively protective personality]]. He's uncomfortable hearing this.
** If he's mothered by Elise, alternately, he takes after her in wanting to be spoiled.
* TheSocialDarwinist: His supports with the Male Corrin reveal he thinks along these lines. In his opinion, the strongest should become king, not whoever is next in line, because inheriting a throne doesn't mean you're suited to rule. In a manner, he's kind of correct.
* SoreLoser: He's got a competitive streak and hates settling for second place.
* SpiritedCompetitor: Is always searching for strong opponents, including his own father. His drive to beat his father is so strong, his entire reasoning for being a Spear Fighter is so he can have weapon advantage on his father.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute:
** Like many of the children, Shiro shares traits with characters from ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Awakening]]'', unlike the other ones, he appears to be a CompositeCharacter of Vaike and Owain. He has both of their easygoing personalities, HotBlooded nature, and like Vaike, has a rivalry with the main Lord of his kingdom (in his case, his father). Bonus points in that he can potentially have blond hair (from Elise, Hana or a blonde Female Corrin) to drive this further.
** He also resembles [[VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance Ike]] a bit in both appearance and personality. Additionally, should his mother be Oboro, Azura, Setsuna, or a blue-haired Female Corrin he'll also have the Lordly blue hair color endemic to ''Fire Emblem''. The resemblance to Ike is greater if a blue-haired Shiro reclasses to Vanguard.
* TakeUpMySword: In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, he ends up wielding his father's Raijinto.
* TeamDad: As one of the oldest of the second generation, if not ''the'' oldest, he naturally fits into this role. It helps that he also has a very brotherly instinct towards his peers, [[FriendToAllChildren especially the younger ones]], always doing his best to help them out whenever they need him.
* WarriorPrince: Like his father and uncle(s).

The son of Takumi. Both optimistic and friendly, he thinks about everything in a positive way. He’s a wild boy blessed with limitless physical strength. Has the best eyesight. His birthday is July 4th.

->'''Class''': Archer, Sniper (Heirs of Fate: V and End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/KiyotakaFurushima (Japanese), Creator/YuriLowenthal (English)
----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: He is this to his father Takumi as an archer.
** However, Caeldori is the one who's better at it than him, but then again, Kiragi did give himself a handicap while competing against her.
* BattleCouple:
** Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido females, as well as Velouria in ''Revelation''.
** In the Japanese version, he could also marry Soleil. They're more of PlatonicLifePartners in the localization since her supports with guys (save for Forrest and the Male Corrin) were toned down.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: A very kind and cheerful fellow [[BreadEggsMilkSquick who takes a great amount of joy in fighting]].
* BloodKnight: Takes an almost sadistic pleasure in fighting enemy armies, which leans into borderline CreepyChild levels. In fact, his primary motivation for joining Corrin's army is that he found the constant battling his father does "fun". Can be seen as a [[SharedFamilyQuirks Shared Family Quirk]] if his mother is Camilla.
* BookDumb: Shirks studying whenever possible to go hunting and particularly loathes history and math until his mother goes through the effort of turning it into terms more relatable for him.
* ChildhoodMarriagePromise: Makes one with Female Kana in their S-support.
* CreepyChild: Played with in his case: Kiragi is a sincerely kind and sweet NiceGuy most of the time, but, as said above, he's kind of a BloodKnight regarding fights and, depending on who his mom is, can have some rather... startling talks with said mom in the DLC.[[note]](If mothered by Rinkah, when she's hungry in the middle of the night, he hunts rabbits for her and leaves them by her pillow like a cat would. If mothered by Azura, he sings to animals so he can attract and ''hunt'' them. If mothered by Camilla, he's one of the kids who can be as possessive as she is of their loved ones, [[DoIReallySoundLikeThat much to]] ''[[DoIReallySoundLikeThat her]]'' [[DoIReallySoundLikeThat surprise]].)[[/note]]
* DisneyCreaturesOfTheFarce: In his ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC conversation with Azura, he mentions how animals often gather around him when he sings...and he then proceeds to ''hunt'' them.
* TheEmpath: His superb archery skills are backed up by his sixth sense that lets him sense people's auras, though this is only brought up in very few Support conversations, especially the Male Corrin.
* EverybodyHatesMath: His supports with his mother show that he swears by this trope.
* GlassCannon: By default he tends to be this because of his father's growths, though his mother will typically determine how much of this he is. A mother like Oboro tends to even his defenses out, while a mother like Hana plays this even more straight.
* HiddenDepths: His supports with Female Kana show that he genuinely worries about his responsibilities as a prince, and that one of the reasons he's so fond of the forest is because it's a place where he can just get away from everything for a while.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Decides to join Corrin's army because he finds what his dad does for a living "fun".
* {{Keet}}: Unlike his serious and cynical father, Kiragi's very energetic and optimistic.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Takumi is a very cynical person, but Kiragi is perpetually optimistic.
* LoveConfession:
-->''Guess I'm not the only archer around here--you got me right through the heart, you know. And I couldn't be happier.''
* NatureLover: Loves hunting and running around in the outdoors.
* NiceGuy: Unlike his father, Kiragi is very friendly and open.
* ThePollyanna: He could give Corrin a run for their money in terms of being upbeat. In fact, he's arguably ''more chipper'' than them, since their reaction to being surrounded is to grimly get ready; Kiragi's is to chirp that it's time for target practice.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"[[GoshDarnItToHeck War is heck!]]"''\
''"Have a nice day!"''\
''"Here goes!"''\
''"No more mister nice guy!"''
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Just like his dad.
* RoyaltySuperpower: As a descendant of the First Dragons, he is able to use Dragon Veins.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Has this dynamic with Forrest as the Manly Man in the Revelation path. Kiragi dragging the reluctant prince on a few nature hikes and hunting trips inspires Forrest with whole new ideas for outdoorsman fashion, with Kiragi set up to be his dressup doll.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** He is an excellent archer like his father--in fact, Takumi's supports show that he's potentially ''better'' than him.
** If Mozu is his mother, he takes a lot after her in terms of hunting and liking the outdoors.
** The ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' shows that, should his mother be Camilla, he gets her [[{{Yandere}} obsessive and possessive traits]]. Even Camilla is [[DoIReallySoundLikeThat startled by it]]. He is the only child who can give Camilla that reaction, and that says a lot about him.
** The same DLC also shows that, if mothered by Azura, he inherits her singing ability just like Shigure. Except he uses it for far more [[DisneyCreaturesOfTheFarce nefarious purposes]].
* ShoutOut: In his and Midori's S-Support:
-->'''Midori''': Well, see... I made that new tonic using the flower you picked for me...\
'''Kiragi''': You did? Congratulations! I bet it's [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} super effective!]]
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Looks a lot like his dad Takumi, especially with his default hair color, save for his lack of a ponytail.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: His CheerfulChild behavior mixed with his worrying love of fighting are reminiscent of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance Rolf]]. He even looks a bit like him, especially if you can get a Kiragi with green hair.
* TakeUpMySword: In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, he ends up wielding his father's Fujin Yumi.
* WackyParentSeriousChild: Inverted. His Father, Takumi is cynical and hard on himself, while Kiragi is idealistically optimistic.
* WarriorPrince: He's a skilled bowman like his father.
* WhatTheHellHero: In their A-Support, Midori tearfully berates him for putting his life in mortal danger when he went into a volcano to fetch a medicinal flower that she mentioned, at the risk of breathing in poisonous fumes, reprimanding him for not thinking of what she would feel if she had sent him to his death. [[spoiler:Later in their S-support, it becomes a case of SlapSlapKiss, as she names the tonic she made from the flower after him, confessing her love.]]
* WideEyedIdealist: He's very positive, almost the opposite of his father. Kiragi's personal skill, Optimist, gives him a considerable Speed and Luck boost for choosing to wait during his turn. The implication is that just having good faith makes him stronger.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Gives this to his dad in their supports, in which the latter feels inferior to Kiragi after watching him shoot a deer that he could not, only for Kiragi to point out how difficult it is to use the Fujin Yumi and to encourage his dad to take some pride in himself.

->''"You care about your dumb name more than you've ever cared about me. It's my life. I'll live as I please."''

The son of Saizo. A cool, sharp, and able person that's extremely fond of sweets. He doesn't want to follow his father's footsteps as Saizo the Sixth, which naturally puts a large strain on their relationship. He smells the best out of everyone in the army. His birthday is January 1st.

->'''Class''': Ninja, Master Ninja (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/ShinobuMatsumoto (Japanese), Creator/GideonEmery (English)
----
* AmbiguouslyBi: Implied (at least in the localization) in his s-support with Rhajat.
--> '''Asugi''': I mean, how am I supposed to fall in love with a person I don't even know? And that aside, I spend most of my time tailing other men... I mean, I'm open-minded and all, but-
* BattleCouple:
** Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido females, as well as Nina in ''Revelation''.
** In the Japanese version he can also marry Soleil. In the localization, they become PlatonicLifePartners instead.
* CallBack:
** His paralogue plays out similarly to Chapter 6 in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'', where Gaius first shows up. Gaius and Asugi were both hired for what they thought was just a heist, only to find out later on that the job involved a murder.
** In his C Support with the Female Corrin, he mentions he was thinking about calling them "Bubbles" instead of "Boss", a reference to what Gaius would call Robin in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening''.
** His C Support with Caeldori is nearly identical to Gaius's C support with Cordelia.
* CannotSpitItOut: Non-romantic example. He has a somewhat rough time thanking his dad and telling him that he loves him in the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC, but is clearly putting his heart into it.
* DoNotCallMePaul: As his first born son, Asugi's real name is also Saizo, though he's cast aside the name, at least during the course of the game.
* EveryoneHasStandards: During his Paralogue, he's shown to be working with a band of thieves led by Funke. However, once he finds out that he was hired to kill the people who lived in the mansion that the group was raiding, he immediately betrays Funke and [[ScrewThisImOutOfHere makes a run for it]]. In his own words...
-->"[[KleptomaniacHero I'll steal anything that's not nailed down.]] But murder—like that? Nah. Crosses a line. And there's NO price he could pay me to do that."
* FamilyThemeNaming: All members of the Saizo clan name their eldest son "Saizo," a name that Asugi will eventually inherit.
* {{Flanderization}}: Gaius's comical traits are a bit more pronounced on Asugi. This makes sense as Asugi (who's in his late teens, ''tops'') didn't get to rack up an extensive criminal record like Gaius (a full-grown adult) and isn't constantly being suspected by others, so he's much less jaded and more friendly as a result. In the localization, Asugi's voice is considerably higher-pitched and goofier than Gaius's.
* {{Foil}}: To Nina. Both are children who resent their father for leaving them in the Deeprealms, are introduced in a level where you have to prevent them from escaping, and act exactly the way their fathers feared they would. The difference is Nina tries to follow the path her father walked as a thief, despite his attempts to stop it, while Asugi acts against the path his father wants him to follow, despite his attempts to ensure it does. Unsurprisingly, they can get hitched in ''Revelation''.
* GuysAreSlobs: In a CallBack to Gaius's supports with Cordelia in ''Awakening'', Asugi's support with Caeldori has him being nagged by her for wearing dirty clothes and later on for not cleaning up after himself in the kitchen. Apparently, his mess was so bad it took ''ten'' soldiers to clean it up, and all he did was bake one cake.
* HiddenDepths:
** His supports with Saizo show that he actually worries quite a lot about inheriting his father's legacy.
** His support with the Male Corrin also shows that he's a fantastic baker, able to replicate several recipes just from ''eating'' the desserts.
** His supports with Hisame give quite the insight on what being a Hoshidan {{ninja}} means. According to him ninja are not allowed to form close bonds with others, so that even if they die in the line of duty the rest of the army would be unaffected by their death. They are also not allowed to let their faces be well-known, otherwise they would be unable to carry out undercover missions.
* HurricaneOfPuns: Just like the character he's an SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute of, many of his quotes are puns referring to his love of sweets. Some examples are "That's where the cookie crumbles!" after defeating an enemy, or "Just desserts!" for one of his CriticalHit quotes.
* INeedAFreakingDrink: A variation. At the end of his B support with Rhajat, after dealing with Rhajat being, well... [[CreepyGood Rhajat]], he says "[[SweetTooth Criminy. I need a cinnamon roll...]]" in a way of being his version the trope.
* {{Irony}}: Asugi is said to smell the best out of everyone in the army. Gaius (the character Asugi's based on) was noted for having horrible personal hygiene in his Supports with Cordelia.
* KissingCousins:
** In the Japanese version, he can S-Support with Midori, who is his cousin due to their fathers being brothers. Like Lucina and Owain, however, this is made more platonic in western versions.
** Especially in the Japanese version, if the player marries the two brothers to Hinoka and Sakura, then hook him and Midori up with each other for some double cousin loving.
* TheLancer: Just like his father is Ryoma's NumberTwo, Asugi more or less takes this role towards Ryoma's son Shiro [[spoiler:in the third part of the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC]].
* LegacyCharacter: Subverted. He is named Saizo, just as his father was before him, and his before him, and so on. He has little interest is taking up his father's name and legacy, however.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Asugi often worries about living up to Saizo's name as he already has little in common with his father. Notably, Asugi is mischievous and light-hearted while Saizo is dead serious, and while Asugi loves sweets, Saizo can't stand them.
* LoveConfession
-->''You're sweeter than sweets my sweet! Let's celebrate our delicious love with a giant wedding cake! (whispers) I'm serious... biggest... cake... ever!''
* MagicKnight: His default growths are this being in the middle of the sliding scale. However, he usually lean towards one or the other due to how passing down growths and stat mods work. See below for more details.
* MasterOfNone: A rare [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools example of this not being a bad thing]]. Due to having his father's balanced growths, Asugi starts off with a versatile stat growth spread that, on its own might not seem impressive, but due to his surprisingly high magic growth, is set up to where he is the only of the second generation to not have a mother who is outright a bad option for him. This means he is the most versatile Second Gen unit because he can fit perfectly for any situation, especially if he stays a Ninja thanks to his Mother determining his stats. For example, if his mother is a magical unit like Orochi, he can stay in the Ninja class and use the extremely powerful Flame Shuriken without problem and still have a solid strength and speed stat to match to use other Shuriken weapons, making him an extremely good MageKiller. Meanwhile if his mother is martial unit like Kagero or Charlotte, he becomes the best hidden weapon unit in the game since any of the non-magical Shurikens will deal immense damage. Whenever pairing guides for generation two is brought up, Asugi is typically seen as a top tier unit as a result, and most of the time, you'll be stated to pick his mother from what's left since the only way he can be a bad unit is if you don't bother to even get him.
* MeaningfulName:
** Not only is Asugi a SignificantAnagram of Gaius, but it sounds similar to [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azuki "Azuki"]], a type of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_bean_paste red bean]] used in [[SweetTooth East Asian sweets]]. Asugi, of course, is known for his massive sweet tooth.
** Additionally, no matter the version [[MeaningfulRename he chose his name because it means "Gray"]] in one of the languages spoken in the Deeprealm he grew up in.
** In his localized A-Support with Saizo, he says that "Saizo" is a Hoshidan word for "color bringer." Saizo thinks he's reading too much into it, because that doesn't describe himself or his own father at all, but Asugi says it would be apt for someone who chose the wishy-washy, middle-of-the-road name "gray" to earn a name like "color bringer."
* MeaningfulRename: His father named him Saizo, after himself and the previous four generations of their paternal ancestors. Asugi renamed himself because he didn't want the pressure of living up to that legacy, and more over, because he felt like Saizo cared more about that legacy than he ever cared about him as his son or as a person. If he and Saizo reach A-Support, he acknowledges that Saizo has made a real effort to meet him halfway by calling him "Asugi" and that he's decided that he ''does'' want to eventually rename himself again and be the sixth Saizo. Saizo is pleased, but tells him that he doesn't have to, and that five generations is long enough to let the name go. Furthermore, he threw the name aside once, and Saizo has no intention of relinquishing it to him so easily. Asugi agrees, and tells his father to call him "Saizo" if he ever thinks he's earned it. Asugi's epilogues all state that the Saizo name has continued to be passed down without fail.
* MyBelovedSmother: Whoever Asugi's mother is, they will turn out to be this, to the point of following him on an ''espionage'' mission without his knowledge.
* MythologyGag: Asugi's paralogue begins with him running with a questionable crowd, but bailing on them when he discovers that they plan to assassinate a very important clan. Similar circumstances surround Gaius' introduction, where he bails on Validar when he discovers that they are planning to kill the Exalt.
** One of Asugi's possible mothers in ''Revelation'' is Charlotte, who gives him the Fighter class. With this he would have an equivalent to every class that Gaius does. The other is Beruka, who gets Fighter as her secondary class.
* TheNicknamer: In the localized version, similarly to his ''Awakening'' counterpart, Asugi gives nicknames to other characters, which often describe their personalities or is out of sarcasm. To him Corrin is "[[TheLeader Boss]]", female Kana is "[[OurDragonsAreDifferent Little Miss Dragon]]", Dwyer is [[HeavySleeper "Naps"]], Sophie is [[TheKlutz "Fumbles"]], Midori is "[[TheMedic Doc]]", Hisame is "[[WiseBeyondTheirYears Gramps]]", Mitama is "[[ExoticEyeDesigns Star]]", Rhajat is "[[IronicNickname Sunshine]]", and Ignatius is "[[CowardlyLion Fraidycat]]".
* PoliteVillainsRudeHeroes: In his introductory scene with Funke, he's rather flippant with both him and Saizo, but is shown to be a decent person who refuses to kill for money.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"Piece of cake!"''\
''"This is gonna be tasty!"''\
''"Just desserts!"''\
''"Oooh, piñata!"''
* RedOniBlueOni: Manages to be ''both''. He is the blue to Shiro's red, and the red to Hisame's blue.
* RealMenWearPink: Asugi has a passion for baking, and most of his confections have a cutesy aesthetic. He even bonds with Ignatius over their mutual love of cute things, but while Ignatius is shy about it, Asugi proudly declares that there's nothing wrong with that.
* ReincarnationRomance: It's easier to miss compared to Rhajat and Caledori's implications, but in his S-support with Corrin she thinks it's a start to a beautiful life together. Asugi's response is "This life and the next one, too."
** And this could potentially apply if the player pairs him with Caeldori or Rhajat while pairing [[spoiler: Gaius with either Cordelia or Tharja.]]
* SharedFamilyQuirks: If Sakura is Asugi's mother, he inherits her sweet tooth. A good proof is their Children Scramble talk.
** If Charlotte is his mother, he inherits her enjoyment of being popular with the opposite sex. Thankfully, he's also inherited his father's sense of reason, so he's able to rein it in.
* SignificantAnagram: Of Gaius. His Japanese name is an anagram of "Guire," Gaius's Japanese name.
* SupremeChef: Asugi is exceptionally good at cooking, especially when it comes to making sweets. He is able to recreate dishes just by tasting them without knowing their exact recipes.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Basically, [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Gaius]] as a {{ninja}}. He also shares Gaius' SweetTooth and his birthday is a day before his. He even cuts ties with the people he's with for similar reasons (ie. Not believing in murder).
* SweetTooth: Asugi loves candy and sweets. He even makes his own. His confession scene is this in spades, professing his love for Corrin before gushing about making "the biggest cake ever".
* VocalDissonance: A strange example in the English version. Asugi's voice actor, Creator/GideonEmery, is the same actor who portrayed Gaius in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening''. However, Emery's voice for Asugi is noticeably a few octaves higher than Gaius' voice, while the other actors reprising their roles or playing the [[SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute substitute]] children sound very similar to their original performances.

[[caption-width-right:270:[[TrademarkFavoriteFood Pickle Pro]]]]
->''"I have to fight my own battles. Starting now."''

The son of Hinata. Very serious and a stickler for protocol, in complete contrast to his father's laid-back and informal attitude. He is careful about everything he does. Loves tea and pickles above all else. Acts the oldest despite his age. His Birthday is September 27th.

->'''Class''': Samurai, Swordmaster (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/MitsuhiroIchiki (Japanese), Roger Rose (English)
----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: It turns out that this is [[spoiler: how he actually feels about Hinata, despite what his comments may suggest. Hisame is actually very envious of how carefree and laid-back his father is, and hates how uptight he is.]]
* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: While Hinata doesn't try to embarrass him, Hisame is quite annoyed by his father's antics in their Supports nonetheless.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido females, as well as second generation Nohr characters Velouria and Ophelia in ''Revelation''.
* BirdsOfAFeather: With Caeldori, as both are the most mature and serious of Hoshido's second generation, though it appears at first that they differ in how they view their fathers--Caeldori idolizes Subaki, while Hisame is embarrassed by Hinata. However, it's then revealed that Hisame is [[spoiler: actually just envious of his father's carefree and lovable nature, and secretly wishes he could be more like him]].
* CannotTalkToWomen: A mild case. In his own words, he has trouble talking to the opposite gender.
* CharacterExaggeration: Hisame's love for pickles is just an incredibly minor detail in the original Japanese version. In the English translation it's a very bizarre obsession, to the point where several of his Private Quarters quotes are pickle-based puns.
* TheComicallySerious: His usually-mature nature turns him into this when dealing with some of the wackier characters, such as Ophelia and his own father.
* TheGenericGuy: He's rather undercharacterized compared to the other child units, being largely just a serious guy (which there are no shortage of in this game) to contrast his HotBlooded father, lacking the quirks and HiddenDepths others have. The localization at the very least gives him a comedic quirk to give him more personality. Then again, that helps him stand out in his own right; amongst the second generation, he's the ComicallySerious StraightMan among a larger-than-life cast of characters. His straightforwardness may as well be a quirk.
* InformedFlaw: While he's not exactly charming, he carries himself just fine in most of his supports with the girls despite supposedly being terrible at talking to them.
* InSeriesNickname: Asugi calls Hisame "Gramps" because he's [[WiseBeyondTheirYears way more mature than his age would suggest]].
* JackOfAllStats: As a result of his father's stats, Hisame's base growths are fairly balanced between Hp, Strength, Speed, and Skill, which are all around 40%, with his Defense growth being 30%. His mother's growths will typically make him either a FragileSpeedster, MightyGlacier, or a LightningBruiser, depending on who the mother is.
* LargeHam: Anytime he's talking about pickles.
* TheLancer: He becomes this to Kiragi in the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, mirroring his father's relationship with Kiragi's father.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Butts heads with his father Hinata in his paralogue and parent supports, due to Hinata being fun-loving and laid back, while Hisame is much more serious and cool-headed.
* LoveConfession:
--> ''Our love is stronger than the world's most pungent pickle. Won't you dive into the brine with me?''
* NiceGuy: Though he can appear cold and aloof on first impression, Hisame is actually pretty nice and many of his supports feature him trying to help out whoever he's talking to, even the odder girls like [[GothGirlsKnowMagic Rhajat]] and [[BunnyEarsLawyer Ophelia]].
* NotSoDifferentRemark: The male Corrin points out that Hisame's not completely different from his father, as they both have issues with women.
* NotSoStoic: While he's often calm and serious minded, he does break his stoicism from time to time, [[CannotTalkToWomen especially around women]].
* OnlySaneMan: Of the second generation. Even the similarly serious Caeldori has her moments of whimsy.
* ParentalTitleCharacterization: Hinata's a bit surprised that Hisame's started calling him "Father" rather than "Dad," since it doesn't seem like that long since Hinata visited him, but Hisame then reminds him that time passes more quickly in the Deeprealms.
* PornStash: PlayedForLaughs and subverted. In his C-support with his mother he will be very possessive of a locked diary that she found, leading her to remark that "a boy his age would have all kinds of thoughts best kept from his mother". It turns out it's just childhood memories.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"This is the end!"''\
''"Prepare for oblivion!"''\
''"Your time has come!"''\
''"Watch and learn!"''
* RetiredBadass: In the epilogue, he eventually retires from fighting and becomes a renowned professor.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Turns out, Hinata's issues with women passed onto Hisame, just in a different way--Hinata is incredibly gullible with women, whereas Hisame CannotTalkToWomen.
** If his mother is Selena he'll share her rebellious nature towards one of his parents, her insecurity issues ''and'' [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking her shopaholic tendencies.]]
** If Rinkah is his mother, he'll inherit her serious, no-nonsense personality as well as her stoicism.
** The ''Hoshidan Children Festival'' DLC states that if Hinata married [[http://fe14festivalofbondstranslations.tumblr.com/post/154668943893/hoshidan-festival-orochi-and-hisame-parent-child Orochi, Hisame inherited]] [[{{seers}} his mother's powers to see the future]].
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: He loves pickles to the point of obsession, and they're often brought it in his Support conversations and DLC lines.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Hisame used to be a [[DaddysGirl Daddy's Boy]] who would come running whenever Hinata came to visit. Unfortunately, Hinata allowed enough time to pass since his last visit that Hisame is now an angsty teenager who both loves and resents his father, regarding him as immature and at the same time envying how good he is with other people.
* WackyParentSeriousChild: Hisame is very serious, especially when compared to his HotBlooded father.
* WhenHeSmiles: Midori comments in their supports that Hisame has a nice laugh (and she apparently used to be put off by his serious expressions before then).
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: His supports with Velouria reveal that he's afraid of spiders.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: He acts much older than he actually is. Asugi even calls him "Gramps", despite actually being older than Hisame.

The daughter of Kaden. She has an innocent and cheerful personality. She is very active and loves to play around. She is the least afraid of things in the army. Her birthday is October 20th.

->'''Class''': Kitsune, Nine-Tails (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Mitsuki Nakae (Japanese), Creator/ElizabethDaily (English, ''Fates''), Alexa Kahn (English, ''Heroes'', credited as Lexi Klein)
----
* AsianFoxSpirit: She's a fox spirit.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido males, as well as second-generation Nohr characters Forrest and Ignatius in ''Revelation''.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Selkie and Male Kana, who hit it off immediately and bond over their shared ability to transform (while both thinking the other's transformation is cool) as well as their similar, unashamedly silly personalities. This is the main reason why Selkie is the only S-Support Male Kana has who immediately returns his affections after his love confession.
* BloodKnight: Has a few shades of this, since warfare and slaughtering the enemy is just more fun and games to her. She even lets out a giggle when scoring a CriticalHit.
* CuteMonsterGirl: She's an adorable fox girl.
* EvilLaugh: When she is about to do a critical attack or skill activate, she cackles like a maniac. She even sometimes does a sinister giggle when she hits her enemy with a critical attack.
* FragileSpeedster: Defaults to this usually thanks to her growths being focused on high Speed, but low Defense. Most of her mothers also keep her this way, with few being able to bump her bulk up.
* GenkiGirl: As said above she has an innocent and cheerful personality.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Nearly all of her potential mothers are human. The lone exception, a Female Corrin, is half dragon.
* HealingFactor: She'll learn Even Better as a Nine-Tails, which heals a portion of her HP every even-numbered turn.
* IWillFindYou: [[spoiler: In ''Heirs of Fate'', she finds Kaden's scarf and nothing else. She vows to find him despite this.]]
* InterspeciesRomance: She's already the product of one, so any romance she falls into is this by default.
* LittleBitBeastly: Like her dad, she looks mostly human but has fox ears and tail.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: [[spoiler: If her mother is Peri in the ''Revelation'' route, she will inherit her BloodKnight personality, where killing people is fun and games to her]].
* LoveConfession:
-->''Aww, you're the best! Get ready for a love tackle!''
* MageKiller: Her father's growths often end up with her being this way, on account of a solid Res growth before her mother steps in. Thanks to a good Speed and serviceable Strength stat, she can usually tank enemy mages, and then finish them off once she gets close.
* ManicPixieDreamGirl: To the more dour guys, such as Dwyer and Ignatius. She constantly tries to drag them places and get them to enjoy life.
* MeaningfulName: Like the rest of the beast people characters, she is named after a fabric. Selkie is derived from "silk", which is her Japanese namesake.
** Interestingly, [[SelkiesAndWereseals Selkie is the name of another animal shape-shifting race.]]
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: If her mother is Corrin, she's capable of being both a Kitsune ''and'' a Dragon via reclass options, though not at the same time.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"My bite is worse than my bark!"''\
''"Ready or not, here I come!"''\
''"Ahahaha!"''\
''"Watch out, I play rough!"''
* RedOniBlueOni: She is the red to Velouria's blue.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Both her and Kaden love cackling in the midst of combat, and they have similarly childish and playful personalities.
** If her mother is Peri in the ''Revelation'' route, she will inherit her BloodKnight tendencies, where killing is fun and games to her.
* TeamPet: Her motivations are those of a pet -- having fun and demanding praise and attention from the people around her (though this might just be how she is with Corrin).
* ThemeNaming: In the English version should Azura be her mother. The word "Selkie" most commonly refers to the aquatic shape-shifting seals of Irish and Scottish lore. This fits the naming conventions of Azura and Shigure whose names were chosen to reflect their association with water. See the above MeaningfulName for details.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Soybean powder, according to what she says in the bean food tile.
-->“I love soybean powder! It's so sweet and nutty, and it feels funny on my tongue!”
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Averted, she is the only character to have any real reaction to the fact that Corrin and Kana are dragons as her supports with both of them surround the fact.
* WomanChild: Despite being a teenager, she's so childlike in personality that she doesn't quite comprehend in her Paralogue that the poachers she's fighting are there to kill and skin her, requiring Kaden to tell her that they're playing a game called "Hunt the Humans".

->''"Beseeches he me? / I am the Maiden of Z's. / At the least say please."''

The daughter of Azama. She loves to sleep, and can even be found napping in really bizarre places if she gets tired enough. Often speaks in haiku to express her feelings. Spends the most amount of time dreaming, more so than anyone else in the army. Her birthday is June 26th.

->'''Class''': Shrine Maiden, Priestess (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Azusa Matou (Japanese), Creator/DanielleJudovits (English)
----
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido males, as well as second generation Nohr characters Siegbert and Percy in ''Revelation''.
* BirdsOfAFeather:
** Bonds with Shigure in their supports over their mutual love for the arts.
** Her supports with Dwyer have them bonding over healing people and their shared love of sleeping (when they're not having SnarkToSnarkCombat that is).
* BrutalHonesty: She doesn't exactly mince words when criticizing the male Corrin's inability to compose a proper haiku, flat out asking if he even knows how to count.
* CulturedBadass: Having been raised in a Shinto-like shrine by a group of shrine maidens who encouraged her to read, Mitama is an avid fan of haiku poetry and often drops verses in conversation. Mitama's personal skill allows her to heal two allies directly above and below her for 5 health, and Mitama, herself, for 7 health, mimicking the structure of a haiku.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Her official portrait has pink hair and eyes.
* CuteBookworm: She's cute as a button, has super cutesy eyes, and expresses herself through poetry.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: She literally has stars in her eyes, which are supposedly inherited from [[EyesAlwaysShut Azama]].
* GirlishPigtails: Two, tied with paper ribbons.
* AGlassInTheHand: A variation; her "angry" sprite shows her breaking the pen she always holds with just one hand.
* HeavySleeper: She loves sleeping, so much that [[http://megidoladying.tumblr.com/post/125259261394/asama-and-mitama-parentchild-supports-c-a Azama]] believes her to be a LazyBum. [[spoiler: In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC's, she was asleep when her home was attacked and she almost didn't make it, but [[PapaWolf Azama]] pulled a YouShallNotPass to save her.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's irritable, antisocial, and [[LikeFatherLikeSon full of snark]]. However, most of this can be attributed to her constantly being disrupted from her naps, and she's usually in a better mood once she's fully awakened.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: If there's anything Mitama managed to inherit from her father, [[DeadpanSnarker it was his sharp tongue]].
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: She acts nothing like Sakura should she be her mother, who is a ShrinkingViolet while Mitama is a DeadpanSnarker, despite both being shrine maidens.
* LoveConfession:
-->''How can it be that at the happiest moment of my life, I cannot think of a haiku? Oh, well. You know I love you, right?''
* {{Miko}}: As a Shrine Maiden, her outfit and starting class essentially make her this.
* MyGreatestFailure: The ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC version of Mitama comes from a failed version of her recruitment paralogue, where she napped right through her village being invaded until it was too late to turn the tide. She's also rather crossed by [[spoiler: Azama's HeroicSacrifice for her sake]].
* NotAMorningPerson: As expected of a HeavySleeper. In her support conversations with her father he tries to get her to wake early, which she finally accomplishes by [[ComicallyMissingThePoint staying awake through the night]].
* OddFriendship: With Female Kana, who admires her skill in poetry. Mitama, for her part, doesn't mind the hyperactive girl's presence and helps her become better at haikus.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"[[ThePenIsMightier The pen is mightiest of all!]]"''\
''"Nap time!"''\
''"Reflect on this!"''\
''"Death comes for us all!"''
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** She has her father's sharp tongue, slightly nihilistic outlook, and his slightly {{jerkass}} personality, though this only ''really'' comes through for Mitama when she's being annoyed.
** If her mother is either Kagero or Azura, they both have an appreciation for the arts, further followed with the latter in that her potential brother Shigure will also have this.
** If mothered by Effie, she inherits her love for exercising and is as ripped as her.
* SleepyHead: Often sleeping and napping, which tends to annoy her parents.
* SupremeChef: Gameplay wise, if she's the chef in the restaurant, the stuff she cooks boost all of the characters' stats (+1 for all stats, additional +1 for random stat) for the next battle. She is in the same cooking category (Delicious) as Caeldori, Mozu, Dwyer, and Flora.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Freshly made rice with pickled plum:
-->“Fresh-harvested rice / Pickled plum placed over it / Heaven in a bowl...”
* WhiteMage: As a Shrine Maiden. Can become a CombatMedic (as a Priestess) or a RedMage (as an Onmyoji) upon promotion.

->''"I'll never be as perfect as you are, Father. But I'd like to start trying to be!"''

The daughter of Subaki. She's a very gifted individual, though she often downplays her strengths and constantly works to improve herself. Can be a bit snippy towards others if they try to skip out on chores or do something disagreeable, but she ultimately means well. She falls in love more easily than the other members of the army. Her birthday is July 6th.

->'''Class''': Sky Knight, Falcon Knight (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Eimi Okada (Japanese, Fates), Mii Miki (Japanese, Heroes), Creator/JulieAnnTaylor (English)
----
* TheAce: She is, if anything, [[SuperiorSuccessor even more skilled than her father]], in everything from fighting to logistics, as her supports with her parents indicate.
* ACupAngst: Implied to be insecure about the size of her breast, just like Cordelia.
* AffectionateNickname: If Hana is her mother, she calls her "Caeldy" during their parent-child supports.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: She sees her beloved father as this. Her mother will ironically end up feeling this way about Caeldori, only for her to reveal she ''also'' views her mother this way. In their supports, she also views the Male Corrin as this.
* TheApprentice: She self-appoints herself as the male Corrin's protégé in their supports.
* BirdsOfAFeather:
** With Hisame, as they are the most mature and serious of Hoshido's second generation. However, they experience some tension over their opinions of their respective fathers--Caeldori idolizes hers, Hisame not so much. Though it later turns out that Hisame ''does'' admire his father after all.
** Downplayed in her C Support with Shiro; he mentions that both are more or less in the shadows of their respective fathers, [[ThePerfectionist Subaki]] and [[WarriorPrince Ryoma]] respectively, with both of them agreeing for different reasons.
** In ''Revelation'', she's this with Siegbert. Despite their insecurities and status in lives, they're very humble and caring people, who just want to be the best for the sake of others.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido males, as well as second generation Nohr characters Siegbert and Ignatius in ''Revelation''.
* CallBack:
** Her C Support with Asugi involves her chastising him over his poor hygiene, similar to the C Support between Cordelia and Gaius in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening''.
** In her A Support with Mitama, she talks about showing her the book "Falling for Her in a Fortnight", which has a similar name to the book "Make Him Fall for You in a Fortnight" mentioned by Cordelia and Severa in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening''.
* CovertPervert: If the aforementioned "Falling for Her in a Fortnight" is anything like "Make Him Fall for You in a Fortnight" was implied by Cordelia and Severa, Caeldori wants to share a ''[[{{Filth}} porn book]]'' (or trashy romance novel) with Mitama.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: In her default portrait, Caeldori's hair and eye colors match. If her mother is Hinoka, Sakura or Selena, this can happen in-game by being either downplayed (Hinoka and Sakura) or played straight (Selena).
* GenerationXerox:
** She inherits much of her father's many talents and her perfectionist personality. Doubly so if her mother is Selena, who in turn got that from ''her'' mother, Cordelia. Though much of this is the result of her trying to live up to her father's reputation.
** If Selena ends up as Caeldori's mother, Caeldori inherits Selena's inferiority complex in terms of her relationship to her mother.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: She constantly downplays her talents when talking to Subaki in their Supports.
* IdenticalGranddaughter: If Selena is her mother, Caeldori ends up being a complete dead ringer for her grandmother, Cordelia.
* IdenticalStranger: In the ''Before Awakening'' DLC, Chrom mistakes her for Cordelia whether she is mothered by Selena or not, but he realizes she is indeed someone else.
* JackOfAllStats: Her base growths are fairly balanced, with most being around 40% on average. Due to this, her mother will have a major impact on her potential; mothers like Oboro and Hinoka tend to bump her up to a more consistent version of this trope, while someone like Hana or Azura makes her a GlassCannon or FragileSpeedster.
* JumpedAtTheCall: In her Paralogue, she immediately throws herself at the chance of joining the main group.
-->"I want to help! I really, really do! I'm tired of sitting home alone and waiting to be of some use. I'll never be as perfect as you are, Father, but I'd like to start trying to be!"
* LoveConfession:
-->''Our love is eternal; somehow I just know it. If we cross paths again in a distant future, dear love... promise you'll remember me. Promise...''
* MeaningfulName: Her Japanese name, Matoi, is a kind of flag used in Edo period Japan by firemen to notify people of a fire near or within a building. This is referenced in her Supports with Shiro, where the two have several conversations regarding fire safety.
* MercurysWings: Her headband is adorned with a pair of avian wings, indicating her default class.
* MythologyGag: Caeldori's possible mothers in ''Revelation'' are Selena and Nyx, who pass along Mercenary and Dark Mage respectively. These are Cordelia's reclass options in ''Awakening'', and Selena is Cordelia's daughter.
* NiceGirl: Caeldori is very humble, caring and very much willing to help others.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"I'd run if I were you!"''\
''"Say your goodbyes!"''\
''"You're not going to like this!"''\
''"No more messing around!"''
* ReincarnationRomance: In her LoveConfession (see above) she implies that her resemblance to Cordelia isn't a coincidence, as well as a connection between Corrin and [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Robin]], meaning the player S-Supporting with both is a case of this trope. Of course, if this is true, that makes the Subaki/Selena pairing a bit... [[MyOwnGrampa weird]].
** This trope also applies if the player pairs Caeldori with Asugi and Cordelia with Gaius.
** In a variation, there's also pairing Caeldori with Siegbert, who is a SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute for Chrom, or Shiro, whose attitude is similar to Chrom's.
* SignificantAnagram: "Caeldori" and her name in the Japanese version, "Matoi," both contain the same letters as Cordelia's name and her name in the Japanese version, Tiamo, reinforcing her SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute status even further.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Her father's [[ThePerfectionist perfectionist]]-attitude was passed down to her.
** Should her mother be Selena in ''Revelation'', her ACupAngst runs down three generations. [[GenerationXerox Additionally, almost everything about Caeldori is shared with]] her grandmother, Cordelia in this case.
** If her mother is Nyx, Caeldori will inherit her love of romance novels as well as her ACupAngst.
* SupremeChef: Gameplay wise, if you make her the chef in the restaurant, the stuff she cooks boost all of your characters' stats (+1 for all stats, additional +1 for random stat) for the next battle. She is in the same cooking category (Delicious) as Mitama, Mozu, Dwyer, and Flora.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: She's pretty much a younger version of Cordelia from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening''. Both are pegasus-riding classes, have a lot of talent, fall in love way too easily, and are into romance novels. Caeldori's design is even heavily based off of Cordelia's.
* TeacherStudentRomance: Has this sort of relationship with Corrin if they S-Support.
* TemptingFate: In her A support with Shiro, Caeldori comments about Shiro not yelling about fire safety. During said support, a fire breaks out.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Played with. Subaki is already proud of Caeldori, but her self-deprecation makes her convinced that he's just being soft on her and she wants to earn his "true" respect.

The daughter of Hayato. Appears as a boss leading an army of Faceless. She is extremely prejudiced and stalks those she deems compatible with her. Thinks her father is childish. Deeply delusional and has a one-track mind. She stalks people who tickle her fancy and makes it her daily duty to research dubious spells. Has the darkest thoughts. 796'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KanaAkutsu (Japanese, ''Fates''), Creator/YuukiTakada (Japanese, ''Heroes''), Creator/StephanieSheh (English)
----
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: She has dark hair in her original portrait, but will only fit in (in a NoSocialSkills way) if she has a dark-haired mother (like Mozu, Nyx, Kagero or a black-haired/brunette Female Corrin).
* BattleCouple: Can marry both genders of Corrin and any of the second generation Hoshido males, as well as second generation Nohr characters Forrest and Percy in ''Revelation''.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: The reason behind Tharja's obsession with Robin isn't really explained in ''Awakening''. For Rhajat, her obsession with Corrin it's because they saved her from a rogue Faceless that she summoned.
* BrutalHonesty: Rhajat has no brain-to-mouth filter and claims to not care one bit what others think of her. It's not ''always'' true, however, judging by her supports with Hayato.
-->'''Rhajat''' [to her mother]: "Those villagers will be wary of me regardless of what I do. Maybe it doesn't really matter [...] My sole concern wasn't their perception of me. [[spoiler:It was their health. The most important thing was to find a cure before the sickness got out of control.]] All I really cared about was you trusting me."
* CallBack: Asugi's nickname for her is "Sunshine", the nickname Gaius gave to Tharja in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening''.
* CreepyChild: Mentioned to like cursing her father and mother.
* CustomUniform: Downplayed example. As a nod to Dark Mage Tharja, the character she's a [[SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute substitute]] for, she has dark, translucent material covering the exposed parts of her Diviner outfit.
* CuteAndPsycho: Has a VERY distinctive laugh and casually makes jokes about hexing (or even killing) people.
* DarkMagicalGirl: She's a creepy teenage girl with NoSocialSkills and rather disturbing habits and powers... while at the same time [[IJustWantToBeLoved she yearns for love and affection]], especially from Corrin.
* {{Determinator}}: [[spoiler:If the below is to be taken literally, it basically means that even death can't get between her and the one she loves.]]
* DevelopersForesight: Should the Female Corrin become her mother, the end cutscene of her paralogue ends up with Rhajat apologizing to her, with the Female Corrin telling her that the incident didn't matter as long as she was OK.
* DontYouDarePityMe: She gets quite angry at Shigure when he tries to bond with her, explicitly telling him not to feel sorry for her.
* EarlyBirdCameo: [[spoiler:Her default pose of her biting her thumbnail was in fact first seen in a sketch of Tharja by Kozaki, the character designer. And with the possibility that Rhajat and Tharja are one and the same...]]
* EvilLaugh: The localization gave her a pretty wicked cackle.
* {{Flanderization}}: {{Downplayed|Trope}} in the localization. While her StalkerWithACrush behavior towards Corrin is more pronounced, especially in their supports together, she still has her many PetTheDog moments and overall nicer behavior compared to the character she's a [[SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute substitute]] for.
* ForgottenFirstMeeting: She was actually saved by Corrin as a little girl, but both of them forgot about it until they met again later.
* {{Gayngst}}: [[https://pastebin.com/e5fpH6m6 In the Japanese version of her S-rank support with the female Corrin]], she expresses doubt toward her own feelings and mentions that she wishes she could have [[ReincarnationRomance been reborn as a man]] so that she could protect Corrin and for Corrin to love her back. Fortunately, Corrin then accepts her feelings and says she'll love Rhajat just as she is. The localization changed this however, making Rhajat's support the same as the male Corrin's - probably to ''avert'' the trope.
* GayOption: A female Corrin can marry her. Interestingly, they could be said to be each other's gay option, since they both have supports with the opposite sex.
* GenderBlenderName: While her Japanese name of "Syalla" is clearly feminine, her English name of "Rhajat" is a ''male'' name in UsefulNotes/{{India}}.
* GothGirlsKnowMagic: A snarky and creepy young Spellcaster with a dark personality.
* HiddenBuxom: Similar to Tharja, her art in Fates obscures her chest. Her art in ''Fire Emblem Heroes'' shows off her assets well, so to speak.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: For such a creepy and apparently fearless girl, she ''does'' desire to have more friends. She straight up says it in her supports with Selkie that she's wanted to strike a friendship with her from the start, even if she goes {{Tsundere}} when Selkie hears her:
-->'''Rhajat''': Let us make a pact. We will spur one another on, intervene on each other's behalf... and otherwise do all the things that friends do, for all eternity.\
'''Selkie''': Uhhh... O-OK! Sounds good! I'm in for your weird pact, Rhajat! Especially the part about us being friends, heehee!\
'''Rhajat''': Phew...I finally said it. Honesty wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It may have been a circuitous way to make friends, but it is my way.\
'''Selkie''': Hmm? Did you say something?\
'''Rhajat''': O-only the usual, my friend Selkie. Praise the gods...and their divine vessels...
* IronicNickname: Asugi's nickname for her is "Sunshine", which is totally at odds with her dark demeanor.
* IWillFindYou: What she says she'd been doing for her entire life ever since she met Corrin when she was a little girl. [[spoiler:Then it turns out she might have done this across incarnations and dimensions. And she declares no matter how many times she's reborn, she'll find Corrin once more to fall in love with them all over again]].
* LegFocus: Her character description identifies her as having "the best thighs in the army".
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Hayato is an arrogant kid who is deeply concerned with how others perceive him, and is secretly afraid of the dark. Rhajat, meanwhile, is a young woman who couldn't care less what others think of her unless it's her parents, and [[NightmareFetishist loves dark places]].
* LostFoodGrievance: The ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC shows that ''no one'' should get between a Sakura-mothered Rhajat and her bean jam-filled rice cakes if they appreciate their lives.
* LoveAtFirstSight: In her support with Corrin, she claims she doesn't quite remember the first time they met, but she does know the second she did that she fell in love with them and has been chasing them ever since. If Corrin is her mother though it's {{Averted}}.
* LoveConfession:
-->''I've got you right where I want you. And I'm never going to let go...''
* MayDecemberRomance: Regardless of gender, Corrin is old enough to be Rhajat's mother or father. In fact, it's possible for a Female Corrin to actually ''be'' Rhajat's mother, should she marry Hayato.
* MythologyGag:
** It is utterly unsurprising that this game's version of [[StalkerWithACrush Tharja]] is willing to go for Corrin regardless of gender.
** Like Tharja, her trait was changed to "Has the darkest thoughts" in the localization, and in Japan her trait was that she had the "best thighs in the army", much like Tharja's own trait being "has the best body in the army".
** Rhajat's possible mothers in Revelation are Nyx and Effie, who gives her Dark Mage and Knight respectively. These are 2 of Tharja's classes in ''Awakening''.
* MsFanservice: Not as {{Stripperific}} as Tharja was, but the standard Spellcaster class' outfit is still pretty revealing. Also referenced in her character trait of "has the best thighs in the army", which is a nod to Tharja's "has the best body in the army".
%%* OddFriendship: She and the BunnyEarsLawyer Mitama [[http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Fates_Supports/Mitama_Rhajat strike one]] through supports.
* OppositesAttract: With Male Kana. She explicitly considers him as different from her as possible, and yet admits that she loves being around him in their S-support. Eventually, they end up being lovers, as stated in their paired ending.
* PetTheDog: She'd rather let people [[spoiler: accuse her of having cursed them]] rather than [[spoiler: getting distracted from [[FindTheCure finding the cure]] for the illness they suffer]], since she's that concerned for their well-being.
* PowerIncontinence: According to her supports with Shigure, when she was younger she sometimes lost control of her magic.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"I want your skull as a trophy!"''\
''"Hope you like hell!"''\
''"Let's see what this does!"''\
''"[[LaughingMad Heeheehahahahahaha]]!"''
* ReincarnationRomance: Her love confession and death quote imply that she's either Tharja's reincarnation or a preincarnated version of Tharja, and that ''Fates''' Corrin is the reincarnated/preincarnated version of Robin from ''Awakening''. The player can potentially hook them up in both games. This trope also applies if she romances Asugi, and had her hook up with Gaius in ''Awakening''.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: Another shared trait with Tharja. Rhajat doesn't seem to know how attractive she is, or at the very least [[BerserkButton doesn't enjoy people commenting on her looks]]. In her support with Percy, [[DisproportionateRetribution she was plotting to curse the clerk at a clothing store]] because they kept giving flattering remarks whenever she tried on an outfit, which she claims "ruined her concentration".
* RescueRomance: Potentially with Corrin, who saves her from a surviving Faceless at the end of her paralogue.
%%* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: Either in the friendshippy (i.e, with Selkie and Ophelia) ways, or the romantic ones (i.e, with Kiragi or Percy).
* SecondLove: She's obsessed with Corrin, but the player can have her fall in love with and marry other people.
* SensualSpandex: Just like Tharja, and she's the only non-Dark Mage to have it.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Should her mother be Nyx in ''Revelation'', she will inherit her mother's (former) love of cursing other people.
** Should her mother be Rinkah, according to their A support, she inherits her mother's headstrong nature.
** If her mother is Sakura, the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC reveals that she has ''both'' of her parents' SweetTooth. (And that [[BerserkButton no one shall get between her and her sweets]].)
** If she's mothered by Oboro, in the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' she says that she has both her mother's "[[DeathGlare Demon Face]]" and [[TextileWorkIsFeminine sewing skills]].
** ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' states that a Rhajat mothered by Azura inherits her mother's talent and love of singing.
* SkippableBoss: Fighting her in her Paralogue is optional. A player who doesn't feel like it can simply send out Hayato to talk her out of bringing up more Faceless.
* SickEpisode: Rhajat's [[http://jokerthebutler.tumblr.com/post/128065258613/fkamuishara-parentkid-support-c-a-rank generic support]] [[http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Fates_Supports/Orochi_Rhajat%28PC%29 with her mother]] are about the girl trying to cast a protective spell over a bunch of villagers to protect them from an upcoming illness. However, she casted it too late for it to be effective and the village people mistakenly thought she had cursed them instead. (And she [[SilentScapegoat didn't exactly defend herself, either]]) Rhajat's mother is caught in this conflict and, while she does her best to take care of the ill, she also tries to reassure Rhajat about not blaming her for anything. In the end, Rhajat manages to raise a plant that will make a good cure (which is why she didn't defend herself, it'd take time away from her research), so her mother is very proud of her.
* SignificantAnagram: Her name is an anagram of Tharja's name. Same goes for her Japanese name, Syalla, being an anagram of Sallya.
* StalkerWithACrush: Like her inspiration from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'', she has a very unhealthy obsession with Corrin, regardless of gender.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: Apparently, Rhajat's way to show her care for other people is to stalk them.
* StepfordSnarker: She hides her insecurities behind her snark and creepiness.
-->'''Hayato''': I understand why you want to put on a brave face. But you are my daughter. I know you.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Very, ''very'' rarely she shows her soft side. If she's Kana's mother, [[GoodParents she's surprisingly doting and attentive]] - [[http://pastebin.com/BHXGP7tt specially in the Child Scramble DLC.]]
* SupremeChef: She has her own cooking flair, "Dedicated," which produces food that matches the "Exquisite" flair in quality... but only enough for one person, Corrin.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Is an almost exact duplicate of Tharja from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'', which is noticed by the magazine that revealed her. They even share the same voice actress and both her Japanese and English names are anagrams of Tharja's Japanese and English names, respectively. However, there are hints that [[spoiler:Tharja might be the past life/reincarnation of Rhajat, so the substitute might not really be a substitute]].
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Rhajat explains that she used to be cheerful and outgoing when she was younger, but her personality completely changed after she nearly died from falling from a cliff.

----
* AccidentalPervert: His supports with Soleil start with him walking in on her when she was changing clothes. [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl Not that Soleil cares]].
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: He has his father placed on such a high pedestal that he doesn't believe he could ever hope to match him and develops quite an inferiority complex because of it.
* ApologeticAttacker: Often times, he'll apologize if he manages to land an OHKO on his enemy in-game.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr females (except Soleil in the Western versions), as well as second generation Hoshido characters Mitama and Caeldori in ''Revelation''.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Towards Forrest in his Supports. He is very protective and defensive of his cousin, to the point of MyBelovedSmother degrees until Forrest calls him out on it.
* BirdsOfAFeather: In ''Revelation'', he's this with Caeldori. Despite their insecurities and status in lives, they're very humble and caring people, who just want to be the best for the sake of others.
* {{Bookworm}}: He spent most of his time in the Deeprealms reading all manner of books, and still devotes three hours a day to reading.
* ChickMagnet: His personal skill, ''Gallant''[[note]]''Ladies First'' in the Japanese version[[/note]], has the lead unit get +2 damage if female.
* CustomUniform: His default Cavalier outfit has a purple-and-black motif similar to his father's.
* DeadpanSnarker: Rarely comes up, but Siegbert has ''quite'' the wit. Case in point, his C Support with Female Kana:
-->'''Kana''': Hi, Siegbert! I'm trying to—but these math problems aren't very interesting. I mean, why split all your apples among the horses... when you should just make a bunch of apple pies and have a horse party?
-->'''Siegbert''': Please invite me if you ever have that party, Kana.
* EternallyPearlyWhiteTeeth: Implied to have these according to his profile.
* {{Foil}}: To Shiro as the sons of Ryoma and Xander, Corrin's two older brothers. Shiro grew up unknowing of his royal heritage and greatly resents Ryoma, while Siegbert was fully aware of his royal status and idolizes Xander to a fault.
* GentlemanAndAScholar: He is a polite, chivalrous young man who is very well-read and diligent in his studies.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Siegbert is very dismissive of his own abilities and potential, and outright tells Xander that if he is an apple from his tree, he's undoubtedly a rotten one.
* JackOfAllStats: His default stats are much more flexible then his fathers are, making him very flexible when it comes to mothers as long as his mother is not a magical unit. Mothers like Charlotte make him a GlassCannon, while mothers like Severa or Hinoka tends to bump him into LightningBruiser territory.
* LargeAndInCharge: Siegbert may not be king yet, but the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC has a CG showing him next to Xander and it's seen that he's able to stand eye-to-eye with him. Xander is already among the tallest men in the game, so a fully grown Siegbert will probably be ''even bigger''.
* LoveConfession:
-->''I'm still full of shortcomings, but someday, I promise I'll be a man who deserves your company. I can do anything if it's for you, my love.''
* MeaningfulName: His name roughly means "bright victory" in German, a possible reference to being Xander's heir after the war. [[WhoNamesTheirKidDude It can also be interpreted that his name is based on his father's sword, Siegfried]].
* NiceGuy: Much like his father, he's a calm, kind, and honest young man.
* NobleMaleRoguishMale: The Noble to Shiro's Roguish.
* ObliviousToLove: In his S Support with Kana, he doesn't seem to realize she's basically confessing her love for him, and mistakes her metaphor for their relationship as a game she's playing.
-->'''Kana''': I did. But now I have a different math problem for you, Siegbert. What's me plus you?\
'''Siegbert''': Er, what?\
'''Kana''': Me plus you. Tell me the first answer that pops into your mind!\
'''Siegbert''': Uh...math friends forever!\
'''Kana''': Close enough. I accept, Siegbert. I will be your Princess of Math. And you will be my...?\
'''Siegbert''': Prince of Math? Ha, sure! This is a fun game, Kana. I think we can play this for a long time!
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"...Now!"''\
''"No holding back!"''\
''"Be ready!"''\
''"Out of my sight!"''
* PrincelyYoungMan: Very much the NiceGuy type.
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue to Shiro's red in their supports.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Just like his dad.
* RoyaltySuperpower: As a descendant of the First Dragons, he is able to use Dragon Veins.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** His personality overall is very similar to his father's, although with a bigger emphasis on NiceGuy as he is less stern than Xander.
** If his mother is Selena, they both share an insecurity towards a parent who in their mind is the epitome of perfection. For him it's Xander, for Selena it's [[spoiler: Cordelia]]. The main difference is that Selena's insecurity towards her [[spoiler: mother]] is what strives her to be different but still the best while Siegbert wants to be as similar to his father as he can.
** If Nyx is his mother, he'll share her studious nature and love of reading. He'll also share these traits with his uncle, Leo.
** If Sakura is his mother, he shares her soft, gentle voice, her modesty to the point of [[HeroicSelfDeprecation Self-Deprecation]] and insecurities.
** The ''Children's Festival'' DLC has a Siegbert mothered by Effie inheriting his mother's BigEater tendencies.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Get him with blond hair like in his official artwork, and he's basically a teenage version of his dad in both looks and personality.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute:
** Of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Chrom]], possibly, though his resemblance is much more subtle than Rhajat, Caeldori, and Asugi. Both are [[TheWisePrince wise]] {{warrior prince}}s who have both a family member they greatly respect and want to emulate (Emmeryn for Chrom, Xander for Siegbert), and another whose violent past they want to avoid (Chrom's unnamed father, and Garon). Siegbert's birthday is one day after Chrom's, as well.
** His self-deprecation and desire to live up to his father's legacy also heavily harkens back to [[VideoGame/FireEmblemGenealogyOfTheHolyWar Seliph]]. [[spoiler:Thankfully for him his father doesn't get burned to death]].
* TakeUpMySword: In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, he ends up wielding his father's Siegfried.
* WarriorPrince: Like his father and uncle(s).
* TheWisePrince: Said to be refined, kind and wise.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Many of his supports have him being told this. Siegbert is ''very'' critical of himself, and he constantly downplays all of his skills and positive traits in comparison to others, ''especially'' his father Xander. Considering who his father is, and the responsibilities of being a king in general, he understandably, if to an unhealthy extent, has his doubts about being a worthy successor and ruler. Yet when he confides his doubts and fears in others they mention that while he does have quite a bit more to learn before he's ready he's still just a kid, and that he still has a lot more to experience and learn. Even then they often mention that he already has many of the necessary qualities that will help him lead a country; like fighting skills, empathy towards his subjects, an ability to easily understand others, and a true desire to help everyone around him.

* AfraidOfBlood: As mentioned above, Forrest has [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemophobia hemophobia]].
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr females, as well as second generation Hoshido characters Selkie and Rhajat in ''Revelation''.
* CallBack: Forrest's character design is similar to Maribelle from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'' in terms of hairstyle, color scheme, and class. Furthermore, both characters are also of noble birth.
* CallingTheOldManOut: In his Paralogue, he's not afraid to snap back at Leo for talking down to him because of his appearance, even going so far as to say his father is not worthy of him.
* CampStraight: Though Forrest has some extremely camp mannerisms, his support conversations with Corrin establish that he's straight; he just loves cute things and feels more comfortable in women's clothing.
* CovertPervert: Despite his demeanor, he tells the Female Corrin that she looks best when she's ''wearing nothing'' in his skinship should they be married.
* DistressedDude: In his paralogue, after he runs off in a huff thanks to Leo snapping at him for his crossdressing habit. Though it comes off as more DamselInDistress thanks to the bandits mistaking him for a girl.
* DudeLooksLikeALady: His massive OjouRinglets and effeminate style of dress cause a group of bandits (and Elise) to mistake him for a woman.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: At least in Nina's mind... and she's not the only, as his A Support with Shigure reveals. Forrest and Shigure attempt to pull a prank by having Shigure paint a picture of Forrest in antique gowns, so that they can pass it off as an old painting, only for most everyone who sees the painting immediately identify Forrest, apparently remarking to Shigure that "There is only one beauty in this entire army, and his name is Forrest."
* TheFashionista: Has a keen sense of fashion and is very skilled at making clothes.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Has blond hair in his default portrait and happens to be a good guy.
* HostageSituation: He gets captured and held for ransom by Gazzak's men in his Paralogue. And they will try to execute him when the fighting breaks out, turning said level into a race against time (or wealth if someone uses Freeze).
* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: He's a skilled tailor and very fashionable.
* LegacyOfService: In ''Heirs of Fate'', Ophelia and Nina serve as Forrest's retainers, mimicking their parents' trio of Odin and Niles serving Leo. [[GenerationXerox With mostly the same group dynamics]]. On the surface they also look like a collective DistaffCounterpart to their fathers, except for Forrest's actual gender.
* LoveConfession:
-->''I love you for you who are. As I know you love me. What a lovely pair we make. May love always triumph over ignorance.''
* MeaningfulName: References his position as the next wielder of Brynhildr in both languages. His dub name is probably a reference to the trees Brynhildr summons; his [[DubNameChange Japanese name]], Foleo, could be a play on "folio" and "foliage" [[FamilyThemeNaming as well as Leo's name]].
* NiceGuy: He's quite a sweet boy.
* OjouRinglets: He has these despite being a guy, though his hairstyle still fits with his royal background.
* PaletteSwap: The frilly pink Troubadour outfit he's pictured wearing, and he keeps it if he's promoted to Strategist.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"Can't run, can't hide!"''\
''"I'm stunning. You're dead!"''\
''"I'm done with this!"''\
''"I doubt you're ready for me!"''
* RecurringElement: Is yet another character with highly feminine features who is a healer and also happens to be a guy, just like Lucius and Libra. Though Forrest is easily the most feminine looking out of them. Funnily enough, unlike Libra, Forrest averts CrossdressingVoices in both languages.
* ReluctantWarrior: He isn't super fond of battle, but goes into the battlefield anyway. His Paralogue has him healing people that have been wounded in a skirmish in the Deeprealms.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Not only he's introduced healing people after a skirmish, but his solo and paired endings state that he both worked for the well-being of Nohr ''and'' became a well-respected designer.
* RoyaltySuperpower: As a descendant of the First Dragons, he is able to use Dragon Veins.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** The ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC shows that, if he's mothered by Selena, he's as much of a SoreLoser as she is. He'll also have inherited her [[TheFashionista eye for fashion]].
** It's also possible that he got his talent and interest in sewing from his aunt, Camilla, who is also a skilled seamstress.
* ShoutOut: In his B support with Kiragi, Forrest is attacked by "a horde of insane, bloodthirsty chickens" who seemingly came out of nowhere. Kiragi is quick to point out however, that this likely happened because [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Forrest smacked one of the chickens around a few times first]].
* SignatureHeadgear: Always seen wearing a cute pink beret.
* SilkHidingSteel: Forrest is gentle and softspoken, but can be very strong-willed when needed. i.e, [[spoiler: in the second ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, he [[NervesOfSteel keeps his cool]] even when he and his companions are being attacked and Male Kana is so nervous that he goes into his Dragon Form. He even goes as far as briefly using Brynhildr to snap Male Kana out of it, before giving him and their companions a KirkSummation.]]
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Downplayed. Forrest has his father's feminine face, especially his long eyelashes, but the similarities stop there. He does look a lot like his aunt Elise.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Yet another [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade Lucius]]. he also has more than a passing resemblance to [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Maribelle]].
* TakeUpMySword: His support line with Leo centers around him one day inheriting Leo's legendary weapon, the Brynhildr tome, though Forrest has misgivings as to whether he can handle or is worthy of such power. In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, this very thing comes to pass to the point that [[spoiler:he manages to fully activate Brynhildr's power]].
* UnsettlingGenderReveal:
** In the Japanese version, Soleil adamantly believes Forrest to be a girl... until every one of their friends tell her otherwise. She goes into shock until Forrest proves he's just as cute as ever.
** [[spoiler: It [[RunningGag happens again]] in the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, when he meets up with Sophie and/or Dwyer.]]
* VocalDissonance: Fitting, given his gender, but Forrest looks like a girl, dresses like a girl and has some fairly camp mannerisms but his voice in the English version is surprisingly deep.
* WellDoneSonGuy: He just wants Leo to be proud of him, even though he's afraid of fighting and has a habit Leo's criticized him for. Thankfully, Leo ''does'' realize this and works harder to become a loving father.
* WhiteMage: A mounted one. Can become a CombatMedic (as a Butler) or a mounted RedMage (as a Strategist).
* WholesomeCrossdresser: Loves to make and wear cute, frilly dresses. He explains to Leo that he's liked girly clothes ever since childhood, as he once got dolled up by his caretaker and Leo was charmed by the sight.

The son of Benny. Though he looks unsociable at a glance, he is a timid person like his father. He is fond of cute things, but hates ghosts and bugs. Chatters the most. His birthday is August 16th.

->'''Class''': Knight, General (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Akinori Eguchi (Japanese), Creator/KaijiTang (English)
----
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr females (except Soleil in the Western versions), as well as second generation Hoshido characters Selkie and Caeldori in ''Revelation''.
* CowardlyLion: [[FaceOfAThug While he looks tough]], he lacks confidence and gets intimidated easily. He's also shown to be terrified of bugs and ghosts.
* FaceOfAThug: Inherited this characteristic from his father. His case differs slightly in that while his father Benny inspires utter terror in people, Ignatius is simply thought of as stern or always in a bad mood.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: His self-esteem is very low. Even when Percy asks for his autograph because he admires his willingness to fight in the frontlines, Ignatius simply tells him that he shouldn't want to be like him.
* HumbleHero: Has a habit toward this. When his friends praise him for his bravery protecting others on the front line, he deflects the compliments and instead points out their own achievements [[ShrinkingViolet because he doesn't like to be the center of attention.]]
* ImNotAHeroIm: "...[[HeroicSelfDeprecation a coward."]]
* LikeFatherLikeSon: He's a [[NoSocialSkills socially-inept]] GentleGiant just like his father, although Ignatius is noticeably more verbose and expressive than Benny is.
* LoveConfession:
--> ''I used to be afraid of commitment. And then I met you.''
* MightyGlacier: By default he leans into this. He has great Strength and Defense growths, but his Speed is low. Even mothers who have high Speed growths tend to only give him an average chance of increasing it.
* NoBrows: Something he inherited from his father.
* NoSocialSkills: He has no idea of how to approach and talk to people.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"Don't come any closer!"''\
''"I don't wanna die!"''\
''"I will not live in fear."''\
''"Leave my friends alone!"''
* RealMenWearPink: His supports with Forrest center around his appreciation for Forrest's cutesy aesthetic, which he wishes he could emulate. Forrest is eager to tailor some cute outfits just for him, but Ignatius is shy and self-conscious about wearing the flowery designs Forrest comes up with in public. They end up as casual pajamas to wear while the two hang out.
** In his supports with Asugi, Ignatius keeps watching over him whenever he bakes, which starts to creep Asugi out. He later admits it's because he likes the cute animal designs of the cookies Asugi bakes, but was afraid he'd tease him if he told the truth. Asugi admits he also likes cute things and tells Ignatius that there's nothing wrong with that.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: He has a lot of issues dealing with others.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Of Yarne from ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Awakening]]'', both being intimidating looking but faint-hearted young men who become powerhouses when their friends are threatened.
* TheUglyGuysHotDaughter: He's not ''quite'' a PrettyBoy, having inherited Benny's NoBrows and stern face, but his more flattering hairstyle and somewhat softer features make him handsome in a rugged way.
* UnmanlySecret: His aforementioned love of cute things.
* WhenHeSmiles: Some of the girls note that when he does genuinely smile he can be quite good looking. [[YaoiFangirl Nina]] in particular comments that between his smile and hidden submissive, timid nature he could even be "fantasy material" after all. He's usually serious and calm, though.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: While he frightens easily in general, Ignatius is especially scared of ghosts and bugs (and spiders even more so, judging by his supports with his mother).

The daughter of Keaton. She loves everything about her father. Her emotions fluctuate a little, and she has a bit of a wicked tongue. Has the dirtiest room. Her birthday is October 11th.

->'''Class''': Wolfskin, Wolfssegner (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/MihoArakawa (Japanese), Angela Marie Volpe (English)
----
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: In one of her private quarters lines, she gets distracted by a random object:
-->'''Velouria''': This room is amazing! There's treasure everywhere! Like that scrap of paper! Can I have it? Please?!
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr males, as well as second generation Hoshido characters Hisame and Kiragi in ''Revelation''.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: In her B-rank support with Dwyer, she gives him one of her valuable treasures because he decided to share cookies with her.
* BirdsOfAFeather: In her A-support with Dwyer, it's revealed that one of the reasons he felt a connection with her was to both of them being lazy.
* BrutalHonesty: Velouria doesn't care much for others' opinions of her, and as such doesn't mince her words to please them.
* CollectorOfTheStrange: Just like her father, she tends to collect random objects, including hairballs and acorns. Though while Keaton's tastes lean largely toward [[NightmareFetishist the grotesque]], Velouria's are much more varied.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: In her S-rank Support with the male Corrin, he gives her a wedding ring in a box. She's far too concerned with the box itself to realize the implications of the gift.
-->'''Velouria''': What an adorable little box you are. Yes you are! The perfect size for storing an acorn. [...] Inside it? OK. But this box is pretty great. I don't know how you're going to beat it. Oh! My goodness! [...] It's stunning! And so soft. I could spend all day just feeling it. Yes, the fabric they used to line this box is just too silky. You were right, Corrin, the real gift WAS inside! [...] Oh, yes, the ring? We can talk about that later. But for now, I just want to enjoy this! Ohohoho! Eheehee!
* CuddleBug: In her supports with her mother, she hugs her quite a lot.
* CuteMonsterGirl: Though not as obvious as Selkie, she's still a pretty cute wolf girl.
* DaddysGirl: As said above she's also very close to her mother.
* DeadpanSnarker: Her C support with Female Kana shows this.
-->'''Kana''': Wait. Are you calling me a child? I am NOT a child! Take that back!
-->'''Velouria''': Oh, I see. You're not. Thanks for setting the record straight. Good-bye, Kana.
* DramaQueen: In her supports with Keaton, after he imposes an imaginary restraining order to get her to stop being so clingy, Velouria compares the punishment to death.
* EmotionlessGirl: Averted. In her supports with Nina, she barely distinguishes her ''happy'' and ''angry'' look, but she also states that she only expresses herself when she wants to.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Nearly all of her potential mothers are human. The lone exception, a Female Corrin, is half dragon.
* HealingFactor: She'll learn Better Odds as a Wolfssegner, which heals a portion of her HP every odd-numbered turn.
* HiddenBuxom: While a bit hard to see since she keeps her arms crossed in her portraits, she's decently stacked if reclassed to a {{Stripperiffic}} class.
* HiddenDepths: Though she can seem childish and cold at first, some of her later supports show a cogent, mature side to her that many of the other children lack.
** In her support chain with Siegbert, he tries desperately to guess her taste in [[ItsAllJunk "treasure"]] in an effort to learn more about the Wolfkin, and fails miserably. When he laments that there's no way he can be a good king if he has this much trouble understanding his subjects, she responds thusly:
---> '''Velouria''': That's not true. I think you will make a truly great king [...] You tried earnestly - even desperately - to understand me. I think that is the chief mark of a good king: He listens to his subjects. It isn't always possible to understand them, but the desire is what's important.
** In her A-rank support with with Forrest, they come to appreciate the way they both buck social norms, and come out stronger as a result.
---> '''Forrest''': [I like you because of] The depth of your commitment, for one. You firmly believe things that most people don't value are, in fact, treasures. You live by your own set of values, and I think that's wonderful.
---> '''Velouria''': [...] Thanks Forrest, but aren't you just like me? [...] You wear whatever you want, no shame, no matter what anyone says. That's "living by your own set of values" too, right?
** In her support chain with Ignatius, she explains that the reason she likes collecting junk instead of new things is that new things have no scent, and therefore no sense of history or soul to them. For this reason, she is initially upset that he would give her a brand new charm instead of one that might actually serve to remind her of him, but then decides:
---> '''Velouria''': Well, I will treasure and fondle it, eventually giving it a new personality.
* InterspeciesRomance: She's already the product of one, so any romance she falls into is this by default.
* KryptoniteIsEverywhere: With the correct combination of parents and classes, it is entirely possible for her to be weak to 3 things at the same time where characters usually have 2 at most. This can affect her primarily tanky build.
* LethalChef: Like her father, she has the "Revolting" cooking modifier.
* LittleBitBeastly: She has wolf ears.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Aside from their wolfskin instincts and [[CollectorOfTheStrange tastes]], she and her father Keaton have little in common behavior-wise with each other, which Keaton seems to notice. To demonstrate, this exchange she has with Siegbert demonstrates the kind of self-deprecation, aloofness and suddenly refined speech that the proud, sociable closet country mouse Keaton isn't quite capable of:
-->'''Velouria:''' It's fine. We wolfskin simple have different tastes. You humans would never understand. Not that you need to try to understand ones so low as we. You have more pressing concerns, I trust.
-->'''Siegbert:''' That's not true! I want to understand all of my citizens as well as I can! No matter who they are—rich or poor, human or wolfskin.
-->'''Velouria:''' A lofty goal. But more cheaply spoken than done.
* LoveConfession:
-->''"I knew you were special when I saw how much Daddy respects you. Let's take it easy together for the rest of our lives."''
* MeaningfulName: Velour is a fabric, just like Keaton's Japanese name, Flannel.
* MoodSwinger: Her emotions tend to fluctuate.
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: If her mother is Corrin, she's capable of being both a Wolfskin ''and'' a Dragon via reclass options, though not at the same time.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Sees no issue with getting super close to people in order to sniff them.
* NotSoSimilar: Invokes this with Selkie in their supports, more specifically, she asks her to "not lump foxes with wolves" and that their ability to transform is the the only similarity they share.
* OfCorsetsSexy: Wears one that covers her stomach area.
* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: A Wolfskin like her father.
* PleaseDontLeaveMe: In her supports with her mother, Velouria asks her constantly for hugs and to allow her to smell her scent. It turns out to be related to this trope, since she missed her mom terribly in the PocketDimension and doesn't want to lose her.
-->''"Mama... Please don't go away. I want to be able to smell your scent forever..."''
** Also says this to Dwyer in their S-rank Support:
---> ''Velouria:'' Your people complicate everything. Here, just stand by my side.\
''Dwyer:'' All right. Done.\
''Velouria:'' Yes. And now don't ever leave it. See? Easy.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"This makes me hungry!"''\
''"I always play with my food."''\
''"Delicious."''\
''"A hunting I will go."''
* RedOniBlueOni: The Blue to Selkie's Red.
* RedRidingHoodReplica: She has inspiration of Little Red Riding Hood like her red hood and carry a basket referenced by her personal skill, Goody Basket, and being a collector like her father. Ironically, she's a [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent Wolkskin]] so she's the Big Bad Wolf as well.
* ReiAyanamiExpy: She has greyish-white hair (albeit not short), brown(ish) red eyes, and is barely expressive and uncaring towards anyone who isn't her father but warms up to them eventually.
* RunningGag: Like Panne, Yarne, and Flannel/Keaton, Velour is a type of clothing fabric.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Velouria inherited her father's love for collecting things.
** If mothered by Selena, the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC shows that she's as much of a shopper as her mom. [[HypocriticalHumor After chiding her for doing exactly the same thing.]]
** If Camilla is her mother, the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' implies that she shares Camilla's "[[{{Yandere}} affectionate]] BloodKnight" traits, even if not necessarily as much as her mother.
* ShipTease: Interestingly, her A support with Dwyer has subtext of this.
--> '''Velouria''': None of that was work. It was enjoying what life brought me. Like you.
--> '''Dwyer''': Oh? Like me? I see.
--> '''Velouria''': [[LuminescentBlush *sniff, sniffity*]]
--> '''Dwyer''': [[LuminescentBlush Erm...]]
* StealthPun: She wears a red hood, and turns into a big, bad wolf. [[Literature/LittleRedRidingHood Remind you of anything?]]
* SugarAndIcePersonality: She's much more affectionate towards her parents, and while usually apathetic and cold towards everyone else, she does have her sincere moments.
* SuperSenses: She's got them from her dad's side....and uses them to constantly track him down much to his annoyance.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Of Nah from ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Awakening]]''. Both act rather childish and are blunt with their words at times, but have a mature side to them as well. Their clothes even seem to share a similar style.
* ToServeMan: If her [[PreMortemOneLiner Pre-Mortem One-Liners]] are to be taken at face value, she shares her father's (and all Wolfskins) habit of eating humans.

The son of Arthur. He is obedient and naïve. Though his father is perpetually unlucky, Percy has astronomical good luck. His wyvern's name is Ace ([[VideoGame/FireEmblemShadowDragonAndTheBladeOfLight Michalis]] in the Japanese version). Spots the most shooting stars. His birthday is September 5th.

----
%% * ABoyAndHisX: A boy and his wyvern. %% Add more context to describe their relationship and what effect it has on them. %%
* AlliterativeName: All of his [[CallingYourAttacks named attacks]] have this.
* AdorablyPrecociousChild: He's one of the youngest of the children (only Kana is confirmed to be younger than him), but still adamantly believes he's a soldier of justice like his father. His supports with his mother have him almost getting hurt in his desire to impress her and make her proud.
* ArchnemesisDad: PlayedForLaughs. Angry at his father Arthur for neglecting him, he declares him to be his "archnemesis" and joins a group of mercenaries fighting him.
* BadassAdorable: Percy is small and really cute, and he is capable of being one of the most powerful units you can have.
* BashBrothers: Taken both figuratively and literally with units that are not only male, but also if his brother is male Kana or Shigure.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Female Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr females (except Soleil in the Western versions), as well as second generation Hoshido characters Mitama and Rhajat in ''Revelation''.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Bonds with Sophie over their shared fondness of their mounts in their support line, though he kicks it off wanting to [[MyDadCanBeatUpYourDad compete to see whose is the best.]]
* BornLucky: Unlike his father, Percy is incredibly lucky. Things will just go right for him due to bizarre coincidences when he tries to accomplish something, and there are a couple of instances of him just stumbling across some treasure lying around. However, unlike how his father is forced to endure and brave on through his misfortune (which Percy greatly admires), Percy ''really'' dislikes his luck as it takes away the chance for him to put up honest hard work into his goals.
* BuffySpeak: In his C-Rank chat with female Kana, he tells Kana that if they train together, they'll get stronger. Then he'll be a hero of justice that's even more "heroey" and "justicier."
* CallBack: His supports with Soleil, in which the latter tries to help him find a bride for Ace, are pretty much a gender-flipped version of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Cherche]] enlisting Corrin's help with trying to find a mate for Minerva in her supports.
* CallingTheOldManOut: In his paralogue, Percy is mad at Arthur for not visiting him often enough, even throwing an "I hate you, dad!" at him. He comes around at the end, though.
-->'''Arthur''': ''(disgusted grimace)'' Ugh..."archenemy"? What's gotten into that kid?
* CallingYourAttacks: Justice Attack in Japanese, Bombastic Beatdown Blow and Super Sidekick Slam in English.
* CoolMask: Wears a blue and red Luchador-esque mask.
* CustomUniform: Along with his mask and his father's color palette, he wears very childish-looking shorts that reach his knees instead of baggy pants, and lacks the scarf generic Wyvern Riders wear.
* [[DaddysGirl Daddy's Boy]]: Arthur is quite the DotingParent towards him. i.e, Ace was a gift from Arthur himself, and he apparently went to big lengths to get him.
* DragonRider: His starting class.
* {{Foil}}: Serves as one to Kana. Both have something related to a dragon but Percy is the son of a commoner who rides on one that Arthur gave to him for company while Kana is a royal that IS a dragon. Their paralogue settings are different too, with Kana being in a tense and dire situation and is happy to see their parent, while Percy's temporary vow of antagonism towards Arthur is PlayedForLaughs. Strangely, Female Kana's ability to turn into a dragon is never brought up in her support with Percy.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: Even though Percy has very good luck in contrast to Arthur, he still has a negative Luck modifier, which is inherited from his father. The only way for Percy to have a positive Luck modifier is to have Arthur marry a female Corrin whose asset is Luck.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Has blond hair in his default portrait and happens to be a good guy.
* LoveConfession:
-->''Oh, gosh, I really am lucky! I get to marry you AND ride a dragon every day! Can Ace sleep in our room?''
* MaskedLuchador: Dresses like one.
* MeaningfulName:
** He appears to be named after Perceval, one of King ''Authur's'' Knights of the Round Table, or Perseus, a hero from [[Myth/ClassicalMythology Greek Mythology]]
** Lutz is a short form for Ludwig, meaning "famous war".
* MythologyGag: In Japan his Wyvern is named Michalis, after an antagonistic DragonRider from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemShadowDragonAndTheBladeOfLight'', which also makes him a counterpart to Cherche from ''Awakening'', who rides a wyvern named after Minerva, Michalis's sister and princess of Macedon.
* NiceGuy: Like his father, Percy is a very open and a friendly kid at heart. Though he briefly was a jerk to his dad in the paralogue you recruit Percy.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"I'm feeling lucky!"''\
''"[[CallingYourAttacks Bombastic Beatdown Blow!]]"''\
''"[[CallingYourAttacks Super Sidekick Slam!]]"''\
''"No more kid gloves!"''
* PointlessBandAid: On his nose.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Percy inherits his father's heroic spirit and strong sense of justice.
** If his mother is Elise, their personalities will be very similar, as both are kindhearted, optimistic, and very cheerful.
* SupremeChef: He is a top level cook in the My Castle restaurant, making food on par with notably great chefs like Peri or Jakob. His supports with Dwyer involve him learning to make coffee.
* TokenMiniMoe: Percy is considered to be one of the youngest of the second generation children, around Kana and Midori's age.

* BadassCape: Wears a cape as part of the Dark Mage attire.
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr males, as well as second generation Hoshido characters Shiro and Hisame in ''Revelation''.
* BirthmarkOfDestiny: She inherits the Mark of Naga, which appears on one of her arms. This is first mentioned in her A support with her father, and further confirmed if she talks to Lissa in the "Before Awakening" DLC, where she briefly brings it up, but a feeling tells her not to show it at the last second.
* BodyguardBabes: In the ''Heirs of Fate'' DLC, she and Nina are both Forrest's retainers.
* BodyguardCrush: She considers herself sworn to Forrest's service just as her father is sworn to Leo, and she can be... excessively fierce in her attempts to protect the prince, to the point of nearly attacking street merchants whose perfume caused Forrest to cough. If they reach an S Support, Forrest proclaims his love for her and she reciprocates.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Just like her father, she's very skilled at fighting... and very eccentric.
* CallBack:
** In her B support with Soleil, she uses the same body-switching curse that [[VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening Henry]] uses in his A and S supports with Sumia.
** Like her father, she also has a personal weapon, Missiletainn[[note]]A sword in ''Awakening'', and a tome in ''Fates''[[/note]].
* ChildOfTwoWorlds: If her mother is anyone other than Selena, she's half-Hoshidan, Nohrian, or [[spoiler:Vallite]], quarter-Ylissean, and quarter-whomever Lissa married in ''Awakening''. In addition, if her mother is Elise, Azura, Camilla, or a female Corrin, she'll be royalty of both Ylisse and her mother's kingdom.
* ContinuityNod: Her standing posture in her portrait is exactly the same as her grandma Lissa's, complete with making the same winking expression.
* CuteBookworm: Cute, a bit [[BunnyEarsLawyer quirky]], and very into tomes (her Paralogue even starts because some bandits attack the town she was trying to find a tome in). Her personal skill, ''Bibliophile'', reinforces this.
-->'''Bibliophile''': ''Grants Crit+10 when this unit is carrying three or more tomes/scrolls.''
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: Soleil finds her incredibly attractive and spends her B Support chasing her trying to ask for a date.
* GenerationXerox:
** The dialogue at the end of her Paralogue between her and Odin, as well as her supports with her father, reveal that she inherited his flair for the dramatic.
** Ophelia's support with a Male Corrin follows her attempts to get him to come up with a name for her new gemstone, just like how Owain tried to get the Female Corrin to name his new sword in ''Awakening''.
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: In an attempt to stop Soleil from hitting on her, Ophelia creates a body switching curse, intent on making Soleil swear not to chase her as the condition for reversing the curse. Unfortunately, Soleil is perfectly fine with this, as it lets her "admire" Ophelia's body much more easily.
* IdenticalGranddaughter: If she manages to have blonde hair, Ophelia is a near dead-ringer for her grandmother, Lissa.
* IdiotHair: She has a very noticeable strand of hair coming out from the top of her head.
* LargeHam: Just like her father, she speaks in a very theatrical manner, using fancy and complicated-sounding words.
* LegacyOfService: In ''Heirs of Fate'', Ophelia and Nina serve as Forrest's retainers, mimicking their parents' trio of Odin and Niles serving Leo. [[GenerationXerox With mostly the same group dynamics.]]
* LoveConfession:
-->''Fate has chosen us. The moon and the stars bless our union. The constellations celebrate our love. You and I, forever into eternity.''
* MsFanservice: She wears the ''very'' {{stripperiffic}} Dark Mage outfit. Lampshaded by Soleil in their B support.
-->'''Soleil''' (in Ophelia's body): ''"H, hehehe… I've… become Ophelia… ahh… cute… this body really is so cute…"''
* PaletteSwap: A yellow Dark Mage outfit, just like her father and grandmother before her.
* PreMortemOneLiner
-->''"[[CallingYourAttacks Luminary Uppercut!]]"''\
''"Take this maiden seriously!"''\
''"Unleashing my best!"''\
''"Witness my true power!"''
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Just like Odin, she's very theatrical and wants to be a chosen hero like him.
** Her pose and facial expressions, especially the winking, are also the same as her grandmother, Lissa. She also gets her skipping habit from her.
** If you pair Lissa with Henry in ''Awakening'', the ending specifically notes that Owain got his personality from his father, while it goes uncommented upon otherwise. Both Henry and Ophelia use a body-switching curse at one point in their supports.
** If her mother is Kagero, Ophelia's support with Forrest show she's just as protective of him as Kagero is of Ryoma.
** If her mother is Orochi, she gets her interest in fortune telling (though not necessarily the talent).
** If her mother is Felicia, she will prove to be just as clumsy and inept at household tasks as her mother in her supports with her.
* SensualSpandex: As part of the Dark Mage outfit, just like her father.
* SquishyMage: By default her growths lean towards average Magic but low Defense and [[WeakAgainstMagic Resistance.]] Even more physically focused mothers tend to leave her with meddiling defenses, meaning that she works best with mothers who are magically focused, such as Nyx or Elise.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Like her father, she wears the very revealing Dark Mage outfit.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: She looks a lot like her grandma Lissa. This is even more so if her mother is Effie, Elise, Charlotte or a blonde Corrin.
* UnderwearOfPower: Besides the spandex and cape, she wears the Dark Mage attire, which consists of only [[{{stripperiffic}} panties, a short cape, and a bra.]]

->''"Come on! Turn that frown upside down. Know what you have then? A smile!"''

The daughter of Laslow. She has a cheerful and energetic personality. Though she is not too shy, she can get anxious about her surroundings and is quite infatuated with the same sex. She is the worst singer in the army. Her birthday is August 31st.

->'''Class''': Mercenary, Hero (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/EriSuzuki (Japanese), Amber Hood (English, Fates), Creator/MichelleRuff (English, ''VideoGame/FireEmblemHeroes'')
----
* ApologeticAttacker: One of her CriticalHit quotes in the Japanese version is a rather high-pitched, cheerful "I'm sooooooorry!". She presumably gets this from her grandmother Olivia, another ApologeticAttacker, who even yelled "I'm sorry!" in one of her critical quotes in the Japanese version of ''Awakening''.
* BattleCouple: Can be this with the Male Corrin and Forrest.
** In the Japanese version, she could also marry all of the second generation Nohr boys, as well as Kiragi and Asugi in ''Revelation''.
* BlackmailBackfire: In an attempt to stop Soleil from hitting on her, Ophelia creates a body switching curse, intent on making Soleil swear not to chase her as the condition for reversing the curse. Soleil's response:
-->'''Soleil''': Now I don't need to chase you - I AM you! I've gotta go find a private place with a mirror! Heeheeheehee!
* BlitheSpirit: She seems to have absolutely zero regard for the customs of the greater world, and tends to treat everything with infectuous charisma and affection for everyone she meets... including cute girls. Unlike Corrin, [[DeconstructedTrope this actually bites her in the ass more often than not]], as Soleil doesn't understand stuff like "personal space" or "nudity taboo" well enough to not come off as overbearing, despite meaning well.
* BodyguardBabes: As she puts it to Siegbert in their C-Support, since Laslow was Xander's retainer, that makes her his retainer by default.
* ButNotTooBi: While she has a sexual interest in cute women, she cannot S Support with any of the other female units and can only marry males. In the English version, this is toned down; most of her S Supports now have her either letting the other party down gently or being friend-zoned by them in return, with only the Male Corrin and Forrest being marriage partners.
* ChildOfTwoWorlds: If her mother is anyone other than Selena, she's half-Hoshidan, Nohrian, or [[spoiler:Vallite]], quarter-Feroxi, and quarter-whomever Olivia married in ''Awakening''. In addition, if her mother is Elise, Azura, Camilla, or a female Corrin ''and'' Inigo's father is Chrom, she'll be royalty of both Ylisse and her mother's kingdom.
* CuteButCacophonic: Never, EVER ask her to sing. She's horrible at it.
* CutenessProximity: She adores ''everything'' cute. Some of her Private Quarters lines show that she has a collection of kitten posters, for example.
-->'''Soleil''': You know what this place needs? Kitten posters! I have a few dozen to spare, if you want them.
* DreadfulMusician: The worst singer in the army.
* EatingTheEyeCandy: Most women in the army get upset or confused when a male Corrin walks into the hot springs while they're bathing. Soleil? Not so much...
-->'''Soleil''': Heyyy, nice abs, Lord ''Corrin''!
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: Subverted. She's gotten plenty of successful dates with girls who are actually into girls, but has no success with straight girls. Unfortunately, she seems to have difficulty taking "no" for an answer or respecting personal space in these cases, resulting in chasing Ophelia (and in the original Japanese, [[DudeLooksLikeALady Forrest]]) halfway across camp very much against their wishes, [[StalkerWithACrush as well as stalking and spying on girls who are total strangers in her supports with Ignatius and Nina]].
* {{Foil}}: Done humorously with Nina, who's a YaoiFangirl to Soleil's YuriFangirl.
* GenkiGirl: With elements of the PluckyGirl. She gets a little nervous at times, but is mostly cheery and always remains optimistic.
* GenderFlip: She's essentially a female version of her father Laslow.
* GenerationXerox: Soleil acts near-exactly like her father, Laslow, right down to constantly flirting with girls.
* GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak: She's unambiguously feminine, right down to her mannerisms, love of cute things and clearly enjoying shopping and make-up. She's also a trained swordswoman whom going by her Paralogue was actually the commander of an entire mercenary band.
* HiddenBuxom: According to her Japanese My Room lines and her conversation with Camilla in the Hoshidan Scramble DLC.
* ICantDance: She aspires to be a skilled dancer just like her father (and grandmother, [[spoiler:Olivia]]) but she considers himself to have terrible rhythm and no skill at it.
* IllBeInMyBunk: In Soleil's B Support with Ophelia, the latter uses a [[FreakyFridayFlip body-switching spell]] to get the former to stop chasing her. Soleil then says she's going to look at herself (in Ophelia's body) in a mirror, in a private place.
* IncestSubtext: Soleil's support with her mother has Soleil practically drooling over how cute she finds her mother. Well... the "subtext" mostly comes giving her the benefit of the doubt that she wouldn't go all the way with it. However, if her mother is Camilla, as revealed in their conversation of the Hoshidan Scramble DLC, she doesn't feel comfortable flirting with her mother.
-->'''Camilla''': Look at me. Won't you try to woo me?\
'''Soleil''': Why does this feel so difficult? It's like I've lost all my drive!
* IfItsYouItsOkay: While she prefers women, her supports with Forrest has her state she desires to be in a romantic relationship with him.
* {{Irony}}:
** Soleil's grandmother, [[spoiler:Olivia]], was a very talented singer and dancer, whereas she can't hold a note at all and has two left feet. Made extra ironic if her mother happens to be Azura, who's a songstress.
** Soleil has a sun-themed name and one of her possible mothers, Selena, has a moon-themed name.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: She's a genuine NiceGirl and is very charismatic, but her total lack of ability to understand social space or whether people are fine being oogled over leads to her coming off as a pest far more often than she means. When she goes a step too far with Ophelia and sends her off in tears in their B-Support, Soleil is ''moritified''.
* IronicHell: Soleil is usually praising her mother in their support conversation. However, at the end of her conversation with Camilla if she's Soleil's mother in the Hoshidan Scramble DLC, we get this:
-->'''Camilla:''' I'll look properly later so won't you praise your mum a lot now? I'll let you sleep on my lap later too.\
'''Soleil:''' Aaah! Save me dad!
* LegacyOfService: In ''Heirs of Fate'', she becomes Siegbert's retainer like her father was to Xander.
* LipstickLesbian: Well, lipstick ''bisexual'', but it's clear that she vastly prefers women with her only male options being [[ChickMagnet Corrin]] and [[IfItsYouItsOkay Forrest]], and she's unapologetically girly.
* LoveConfession:
-->''I love you more than all the cute things in the world combined! This is kind of embarrassing, but...stay with me forever? Promise?''
* MeaningfulName: Soleil is French for "sun", and she's generally sunny and bright in personality.
* NiceGirl: Despite her lack of social distancing and overbearing nature, Soleil is deep down a sweet and kindhearted girl. She always tries to support her friends whenever they need it, and in the event she goes too far, she often feels ''horrible'' for it.
* NoNudityTaboo: She's absolutely shameless when it comes to her body physique, even thinking of taking off her top before backpedaling upon realizing that isn't appropriate. And then there's the fact she's among the few who respond positively to Body accessories, or her line if Corrin walks in on her in the Sauna:
--> '''Soleil''': [[FemaleGaze Heyyy, nice abs, Lord Corrin]]!
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: As mentioned above, Soleil really struggles to get what is and isn't harassment. This is shown nowhere better than her supports with Ophelia, [[HilarityEnsues which go about as wrong as one might suspect them to go]].
* NoSocialSkills: Soleil is a [[ZigZaggedTrope weird case]] in that she's actually ''very'' social and affectionate, and by all accounts she's great at wooing other women as shown by the villager girl at the end of her Paralogue. However, Soleil has an absolutely ''terrible'' [[NoSenseOfPersonalSpace awareness of others' personal space]]. She harasses Ophelia and seeks to admire herself in front of a mirror when the two [[FreakyFridayFlip flip bodies from Ophelia's spell]], with Soleil having to spend the rest of the Support chain apologizing. She also is not at all weirded out by nudity, and doesn't really quite get what's socially appropriate or what isn't.
-->'''Soleil''': Whew...it's hot in here! I'm just gonna take off my--Oh, sorry. Is that not appropriate?
* OhCrapSmile: She tends to grin a bit unnaturally when she's stressed or in a tight spot. This applies to when she's in a disadvantageous position in combat too.
* PerpetualSmiler: Because of her father's life philosophy, Soleil is usually seen with a smile on her face. She's even smiling when she's on the receiving end of an unfavorable attack.
* PickyEater: She says she was this in the past, until Laslow convinced her otherwise. She especially disliked vegetables.
* PlatonicLifePartners: If she reaches an S Support with anyone aside from Forrest or Corrin, she and the other will be this. This is averted in the Japanese version, where all of her S Supports have a RelationshipUpgrade.
* ThePollyanna: It doesn't matter what happens, Soleil never truly seems to get sad or depressed. She most likely got this from her father, as [[spoiler:he was this way in ''Awakening'', though [[SadClown his was a bit of an act]].]]
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"You won't get away!"''\
''"Smile! ...You're dead."''\
''"This is gonna hurt a bit!"''\
''"[[LetsDance Dance for me!]]"''
* RoseHairedSweetie: She has pink hair in her default portrait, and her ''Heroes'' artwork, and she's noted to be cheerful and energetic.
* ShamelessFanserviceGirl: Has no issue with people looking at her as she's changing clothes, and in My Castle her response to a male Corrin walking in on her in the Hot Springs is to ask if he wants to come in too.
* SharedFamilyQuirks:
** Like her father, Soleil loves to make girls smile and flirt with them. The only difference is that Soleil is actually successful most of the time.
** Soleil, Laslow, and [[spoiler:Olivia]], were all born in August.
** If Peri is her mother, as revealed in the ''Hoshidan Festival of Bonds'' DLC, Soleil possibly inherits Peri's tendency towards violence when frustrated. [[CharacterDevelopment Peri quickly tries to nip this in the bud before it gets to be a problem]].
** If her mother is Camilla, Soleil inherits her mother's love of strong women, her flirty personality, and [[TheTease love of teasing people]]. She'll also inherit her mother's [[BloodKnight energetic personality in battle]].
** If Selena is her mother, in their conversation in the Hoshidan Scramble DLC, Soleil will also be a {{Tsundere}} and despise being compared to her parents.
* StalkerWithACrush: Shows shades of this in her supports with Ophelia, Nina and Ignatius, where she spies on girls from behind bushes without their knowledge.
* StrongFamilyResemblance:
** While it's more obvious when she has a mother with hair closer to Laslow's color[[note]]Hana or a female Corrin with hair color 10 or 20[[/note]], she looks a lot like a gender-flipped version of him.
** [[spoiler:Should she have pink hair she greatly resembles her grandmother, Olivia.]]
* WalkingTheEarth: Her solo ending mentions that one day she left to wander the world, never to return.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: [[spoiler:When Laslow is about to tell her about his origins, she cuts him off because she can sense how hard the topic is for him.]]
* YoureCuteWhenYoureAngry: Nearly says this word-for-word in her generic supports with her mother, who gets annoyed with Soleil's gawking at her chores, and with Ophelia, who Soleil pursues to the point of annoyance on Ophelia's end.
* YuriFangirl: She at least says as much during her Supports with the similarly tuned Nina.

The daughter of Niles. She's cool, collected, has a good intellect, and [[TheSneakyGuy is exceptional when it comes to stealth and recon]], but she also [[YaoiFangirl frequently fantasizes about men doing inappropriate things together]]. She is the worst at talking to the opposite sex out of everyone in the army. Her birthday is January 31st.

->'''Class''': Outlaw, Adventurer (Heirs of Fate: End)\
'''Voiced by''': Creator/AyumiTsuji (Japanese), Creator/NatalieLander (English)
----
* BattleCouple: Can marry the Male Corrin and any of the second generation Nohr males, as well as second generation Hoshido characters Shiro and Asugi in ''Revelation''.
* BodyguardBabes: In the ''Heirs of Fates'' DLC, she and Ophelia are both Forrest's retainers.
* BraidsOfAction: Two very long ones.
* BlatantLies: She's not as conscious of herself while talking to [[DudeLooksLikeALady Forrest]], so she lets slip a short little poem stemming from her fantasies ''right in front of him''. After he hears all four stanzas, he asks what she was daydreaming about. Her answer? World peace.
* CallingTheOldManOut: Has a strained relationship with her father Niles in her recruitment paralogue and their first two supports. The family can reconcile in the end if the entire support line is pursued.
* CannotTalkToMen: Nina has a difficult time talking to most males.
* {{Foil}}:
** To Asugi. Both are children who resent their father for leaving them in the Deeprealms, are introduced in a level where you have to prevent them from escaping, and act exactly the way their fathers feared they would. The difference is Nina tries to follow the path her father walked as a thief, despite his attempts to stop it, while Asugi refuses to take up the name Saizo so he can live his own life, despite his fathers attempt to ensure he does.
** Also to Male!Kana. While Nina has a strained relationship with her father, Kana is a MommasBoy.
** Done humorously with Soleil, who's a YuriFangirl to Nina's YaoiFangirl.
* GetBackHereBoss: Spends her Paralogue raiding a treasure chest, and then promptly makes an attempt to escape to force a NonStandardGameOver.
* HorseArcher: When promoted to Bow Knight.
* {{Irony}}: She sees male homosexuality basically at every opportunity, but the only way for there to be an ''actual'' man-on-man relationship in the cast precludes the possibility of her ever existing.[[note]](If Niles marries a Male Corrin in ''Revelation'' it's stated that the two ''did'' adopt two kids and raised them as their heirs, but Nina will never be born.)[[/note]]
* JustLikeRobinHood: In her recruitment Paralogue, Niles discovers that Nina has been going around stealing from rich people to punish them. It doesn't come up much more than that though, since one of Niles's conditions for Nina joining the army was for her to either cut back on the thieving or preferably to give up on it entirely - though she only ever promises to do so until the war's over; after that, she goes back to "work."
* LegacyOfService: In ''Heirs of Fate'', Ophelia and Nina serve as Forrest's retainers, mimicking their parents' trio of Odin and Niles serving Leo. [[GenerationXerox With mostly the same group dynamics.]]
* LoveConfession:
-->''My wildest dreams are coming to life! Let's see what the future holds...''
* MistakenForPedophile: In the ''Child Scramble'' DLC if Camilla is her mother, she tells Camilla that she recently started having fantasies about babies. Considering the type of fantasy Nina typically has, Camilla understandably finds this kind of alarming. It's only after Nina explains that they're not ''that'' kind of fantasy does she realize that Nina just inherited her strong maternal side.
* PermanentlyMissableContent: Won't be born if you pair a male Corrin with Niles.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"In your dreams!"''\
''"I spy a corpse!"''\
''"Look at what we have here!"''\
''"Watch this, everyone!"''
* TheSneakyGuy: She's extremely good at stealth and recon, making her one of the army's premiere scouts. When asked by Caeldori to just get the location of the enemy and their numbers for a mission, Nina also comes back with very detailed notes about their weaknesses, what patrol routes they take, and the locations of their weapons.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: She's an adept thief and an excellent archer, but she is terrible at conversing with men, attributed to her delusional perception of them.
* WeHelpTheHelpless: Nina's solo ending mentions that she forms a vigilante group after the war.
* WhatTheHellHero: When Niles discovers that she is resorting to Robin Hood style thefts, he calls her out on it. When Nina tries to do the same, he points out how he had no choice whereas she doesn't need to resort to it.
* YaoiFangirl: She often fantasizes about men being attracted to one another, is heavily implied to write inappropriate things about them in her journals, and occasionally plays out scenarios with objects. She even has a skill called "Daydream," giving her a StatusBuff when she's next to two paired-up men. This gets even funnier when you remember her father is canonically bisexual.
-->'''Nina:''' ''[playing with some weapons]'' The gauntlet is a swarthy young gentleman named Horst. The helmet doesn't have a name, but he's very open minded.
