Angel Vale (its entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Nations-of-Equus-18-900018364 here]]) is a nation occupied by Dracosaurs, Dragons and more recently the Ponies of Ashfall. Founded originally by the mysterious Alicorn goddess known only as 'The Angel' and her Dracosaur creations, Angel Vale had long been a haven of progressive Free Dragons who wish to build a place of belonging where they are free to pursue their interests and talents and grow beyond their fellow dragons' obsession with strength and brutish ways.

Isolated for countless centuries from the rest of the world thanks to the 'Vale', recent events involving a Zebrican Gate, a ruined country of Ponies, a pair of ambassadors, six Dracosaurs and time-loops led to not only the end of its isolation but its salvation from a supervolcanic eruption thanks to their new Pony neighbours. At present, it is a rising, technologically-advancing Free Dragon country which is defying many people's expectations regarding dragons, and are looking to be playing a pivotal role in shaping the interesting times they now found themselves in, especially where dragonkind is concerned.

[[folder:General]]
* ActionizedAdaptation: {{Downplayed}}. For the most part things progressed as in ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'' in terms of action, but rather than a stand off ending with him being arrested, Razorbill gets an actual proper FinalBattle against the heroes. This is because a visual novel doesn't have the means to do a hugely kinetic scene, whereas this has more freedom.
* AdaptationalBadass: Due to being MLP style dragons, the dragons of Angel Vale are far stronger than their counterparts from the game, both in terms of sheer strength and elemental powers. This is why Reza's counterpart has a [[WeaponOfXSlaying dragon-killing sword]] as his murder weapon rather than a revolver and knife. The main characters also all take part in a proper FinalBattle with Razorbill, rather than Reza being a CutsceneBoss due to the different medium.
* AdaptationExpansion: Due to the different format, a lot of things from the game are expanded on, such as aspects of characters' backstories and the story continuing. Exactly ''what'' the generators are is expanded upon and how they work. While the game states the dragons have a much larger civilization over the entire continent they live on, Angel Vale as a whole is explored. This is shown in more detail during ''Codex Quests'', when it's the first country visited.
* AdaptationNameChange: The place the Dragons live in is called Angel Vale in the Codexverse, [[spoiler:rather than being on EarthAllAlong as was in the game]]. According to Godzillawolf, the name change was both a reference to ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'' and a PragmaticAdaptation to ensure it fit within the rules and boundaries with the Codexverse. The actual town goes unnamed in the original, but here is called Cherub Cove.
* AffectionateNickname: Ashfall's ponies [[MythologyGag refer to the dragons of Angel Vale]] as their 'VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings' for saving them from complete destruction and restoring their kingdom.
* AfterTheEnd: Ashfall had suffered an apocalyptic volcanic cataclysm, leaving it a lawless wasteland trapped in a volcanic winter for five years. Fortunately, this is reversed after the timeloop is successful.
* AgeLift: PlayedWith. The dragons in the game are all adults or close to it. Due to being turned into MLP dragons, they're all teenagers by dragon standards. By pony standards, however, they're still the same age.
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: The reason Angel Vale was founded in the first place: like other more benevolent dragons, they were looked down on and persecuted for being peaceful and wanting to actually progress as a civilization. This caused them to gather on Angel Vale for safety.
* AlternateTechline: Angel Vale's isolation, discovering a Second Age Cache, and SufficientlyAnalyzedMagic has resulted in it going along its own techline compared to the rest of the world. Specifically, the majority of Angel Vale's advanced technology is {{Magitek}} using dragonic magic, which they are the world's experts in.
* ApocalypseAnarchy: After Duskfall suffered a regional apocalypse due to a massive volcanic eruption, it eventually fell into a lawless wasteland. All that remained were small kingdoms struggling to survive and bands of roaming raiders. Ashfall was likely the last bastion of order in the entire country, forcing the local populace to get help from Angel Vale to put down the raiders and restore order after the apocalpytic volcanic winter was cleared.
* ApocalypseHow:
** Ashfall, formerly named Duskfall, suffered an apocalypse following a massive volcanic eruption and ensuing volcanic winter, causing society to completely fall apart. The result was an [[ApocalypseAnarchy anarchic society]] similar to ''Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar'', with raiders prawling the lands and warlords ruling what little they had with iron hooves. This forced the majority of Ashfallers to rely on Angel Vale to help put down the raiders and warlords and restore order after the volcanic eruption was stopped in time.
** Angel Vale likewise also faced complete destruction due to its society being built in the caldera of a supervolcano. In the original timeline, it was destroyed thanks to the sabotage and murderous rampage of Razorbill, who was bigoted towards the local Dragons and Dracosaurs and abandoned Angel Vale to die. Thanks to Shining Dove, who was given the chance to make things right by [[TimeMaster Ourophion]], the supervolcanic eruption was eventually prevented in time.
* ArmoredDragons:
** During the final battle with Razorbill, Aerri makes the group armor. While not technically tougher than dragon scale, Razorbill's sword, ''Draig Gwaed'', has an enchantment to let it easily damage dragons. This enchantment doesn't work on anything ''except'' dragons, however, so wearing armor makes it just a very sharp sword and offers far better protection.
** Their military uses special armor that allows their pony allies from Ashfall to ride in and act as co-pilots and gunners.
* BackFromTheBrink: Ashfall was on the verge of complete collapse and destruction, but thanks to joining with Angel Vale, it's successfully recovered better than before the disaster.
* BadassBystander:
** [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Quest-s-A-Codex-Equus-Story-Part-6-931169928 When a group of dragons]] who were against the merger with Ashfall attack the diner Edel works at while the Codex interviewer group is present, many of the dragons present stand up and fight back without hesitation, actively protecting the smaller dragons and races present and generally refusing to buy their crap. Special mention goes to a dragon who smashes the instigator in the face with a large soup tureen [[TalkToTheFist to shut him up]], a Ruby Dragoness who both counters the [[MindRape psychic attack from a Dumortierite Dragoness]] and [[ShutUpHannibal tells her off]], and a trio of Triceratops Dracosaurs who form a shield wall around the smaller creatures to protect them.
--> '''Instigator:''' It's time we do some spring-cleaning! ATTACK - ! [Is smashed in the face with thrown tureen]\
'''Counter-Protestor:''' [Stands up with colleagues] Like HELLS you will! It's bad enough you muckrakers come here with your protest, you wanna mess up our favourite restaurant too? YOU HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING!
** In the same story many patrons of another diner, Qumado's Cherub Cove seafood restaurant, helped the staff fight back against a pair of krakens and hostile local sealife rather than just stay back out of harm's way.
* BiggerOnTheInside: From the outside, Angel Vale is already a large island, but it has a Giant Lands style spacial distortion making it several magnitude larger inside the caldera.
* CuttingOffTheBranches: Due to being a PragmaticAdaptation, while time loops mean Dove did most of the choices the Ambassador could have made, he explicitly didn't do any of the cruel options presented. He also wasn't romantically attracted to any of the dragons except for Edel.
* DarkerAndEdgier: The game was already dark to begin with, but the events of the "Angel Vale Time Loop" are even darker, as things only ''implied'' are shown in full, such as the deaths of Shining Dove's friends and the actual apocalypse.
* DelightfulDragon: Like Cobbletown and Dragontown, the Dragons and Dracosaurs of Angel Vale are entirely benevolent, wanting to break free of Dragonkind's stagnant past and become something greater. The Ashfall ponies ''definitely'' see them this way after the dragons saved their country, calling them their 'VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'. And due to their strong bond with Ashfall, the majority of Angel Vale's Draconic population are actively protective of smaller races, as shown during the "Codex Quest(s)" stories.
* DemocracyIsFlawed: Unlike most dragonflights and civilizations, Angel Vale is a democracy. While this mostly works well, the denizens aren't blind to the flaws coming from it and take the good with the bad.
* DinerBrawl: One occurs in [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Quest-s-A-Codex-Equus-Story-Part-6-931169928 Part 6]] of "Codex Quest(s)" when a bunch of dragons opposed to the merger of Ashfall and Angel Vale attack the diner Edel works at while the Codex interviewer group is present for catering to Ashfall Ponies (and Edel's boss throwing the instigator out when he initially caused trouble over it), pitting them against not only against not only the diner's staff but also many local patrons and counter-protestors who were present and won't stand for the xenophobic reactionary muckrakers wrecking their favourite restaurant. The Researcher Trio, three of the Pillars and Rongoa - who were having lunch there at the time - ended up being caught in the middle.
* DinosaursAreDragons: Justified. The majority (though not all) of Angel Vale's population are Dracosaurs, Fourth-Age descendants of the original Dracosaurs who were genetically engineered by Second-Age Pony scientists and later adopted by Queen Tiamat. They interbred with true dragons over thousands of years, however.
* DragonRider: After merging with Ashfall, Angel Vale dragons and Ashfall ponies have taken to doing this in combat. The dragon has mechanically augmented armor allowing the pilot to use a large arsenal of weapons, act as a second set of eyes, and transmit information to the dragon's visor. Angel Vale Aeroforce fighters would use this to devastating effect during the "Talon Bàis War".
* ElementalWeapon:
** Blastfire Breath Missiles take on the elemental qualities of whatever dragon breath is fired into it, even multiples at once. As a result, on impact they release a huge blast infused with that elemental power, greatly increasing the damage inflicted.
** The Elemental Chargers are an EnergyWeapon inspired by Second Age firearms which channels Draconic breaths or abilities like fire, ice, electric or other breaths into a beam or blast of energy which could hit farther and more accurately than their natural weapons.
* {{Expy}}: The kingdom and characters in it are based off the visual novel ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings''.
* FakeMemories: Honeyguide and Zähmen trap both countries with the Torquem Memorias, altering their memories to remember Honeyguide as the hero instead of the Angel's Six, and allow Zähmen to become a respected scientist with Aerri as his personal slave. Fortunately the spell is ultimately broken.
* FantasticRacism: Subverted in general due to their progressive and cosmopolitan society, but still played straight to some extent. Some Chromatic Dragons are still viewed with suspicion in some quarters for their worser qualities, for example, and many Dragons and Dracosaurs resented Ashfall Ponies being added to the country following the political union between the two lands.
** Black Dragons in particular still being reviled for their infamous cruelty, aggression and viciousness to the point they're still used in curses and insults. To note, the Angel made Sister Dammerung the Highpriestess to help break this mentality, yet many bigoted worshippers still [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5104545302 resisted/resented]] her appointment despite their goddess practically telling them ''right to their faces'' that Dammerung is worthy, demonstrating just how deeply ingrained the racism is. This backfired on Angel Vale as a whole when this prejudice (as well as other forms of discrimination) led to the rise of Drachenmeister, a Black Dragon EvilGenius DiabolicalMastermind whose brilliance is in the same ballpark as ''Overmare'' and widely considered the most dangerous/capable supervillain of Angel Vale.
* HeroicBystander: When a group of anti-Ashfall dragons attack the restaurant Edel works at with intent to attack the smaller races present, most of the civilians present don't stand by. Rather, they stand up and fight back, actively protecting the smaller races and dragons from harm.
* HiddenElfVillage: Angel Vale was founded by dragons seeking sanctuary from their more brutish and power worshipping kin who'd seek to destroy them for not fitting the concept of a ''true'' dragon. While originally protected by a volcanically generated veil of steam, the Angel created the Vale that gives the country its name to seal it off from the outside world. It isn't until Ashfall makes first contact and the Vale is destroyed using it as power for the spell to stop the supervolcano that they rejoin the outside world.
* JustBeforeTheEnd: Angel Vale is about to be annihilated by a supervolcanic eruption in ten days time when Shining Dove arrives. In [[BadFuture the original timeline]], it ''was'' destroyed, but Shining Loop is able to ultimately save [[SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong it with the Time Twirler]].
* KarmicJackpot: Angel Vale ends up earning the UndyingLoyalty of Ashfall's population thanks to the efforts of Shining Dove and his Dragon friends in trying to prevent a supervolcanic eruption set to doom them both (as well as stop a traitorous Ashfall ambassador-turned-bigoted SerialKiller) and helping Ashfall restore their ruined country. This leads to the Ashfall ponies coming to their aid in conflicts, like the "Talon Bàis War", without a moment's hesitation.
* KrakenAndLeviathan: Angel Vale's seas have a local population of krakens who periodically menaces the coasts and ships. This is less of a problem than it would for most people as Angel Vale's population consists mostly of Dragons/Dracosaurs who are more than capable of fighting them off. They are legally a protected species in Angel Vale, and barring self-defence one can drive away but not kill them.
** Qumado's Cherub Cove seafood restaurant has been attacked several times by a particularly persistent kraken, but it is usually punched out and dragged back to sea by Qumado and other Water Dragons well before it could even reach the piers. Barring rare occasions (such as when it brought a bigger female mate with it), it's treated as less an existential threat and more an annoying wildlife creature who frequently break in and cause trouble at an establishment trying to steal food.
--> '''Water Dragon Waiter:''' [Exasperated] [[ThisIsGonnaSuck Oh, not again!]]
* LighterAndSofter: The visual novel ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'' is depicted here as an InUniverse adaptation of actual events filtered heavily through a romantic lens. As a result, some of said events' darkest moments were either alluded to or cut out entirely.
* LizardFolk: A good chunk of the population are 'dracosaurs', descendants of genetically engineered dragons made from prehistoric reptiles in the Second Age who Tiamat adopted as her own (and hybridized with 'natural' dragons over time).
* LostWorld: Angel Vale's geographical isolation has resulted in floral and fauna that have been extinct for all of Known History still thriving on the island, if evolved from their original incarnations.
* {{Magitek}}: Angel Vale has [[SufficientlyAnalyzedMagic researched and figured out how draconic magic works]] to the point of likely knowing more about it than anyone else on the planet. As such, they've figured out how to incorporate it into their technology like how Weather Factories work with Pegasus Magic.
** Draconic Generators are pretty much artificial dragon magic cores that use the arcane reactions to create power via technology. They're notably extremely efficient and useful, to the point they quickly become in demand once Angel Vale rejoins the outside world.
** By the time of the "Talon Bàis War", they've developed Blastfire Breath Missiles, a special missile launched by a pony co-pilot into the dragon's BreathWeapon. It then absorbs the breath weapon, taking on its properties, and finally detonating in a much more powerful blast than either the explosive charge or the breath itself would have caused. Ironically, WordOfGod implies that they got the idea from ''Draig Gwaed'' having the ability to absorb dragon breath, but having an upward limit on how much it could take before overloading in a huge explosion of elemental power. The Blastfire Breath Missiles work by doing something like that ''on purpose''.
** Ixomane Spheres are drones using a melding of technology and Gem Dragon telekinetic magic.
** Advanced elevators in Angel Vale utilize the same magic as the Ixomane Spheres generated by Draconic Generators to function.
* MassSuperEmpoweringEvent: At least two such events had mentioned to have occurred in Angel Vale, contributing to the island nation's and the wider world's new era of metabeing proliferation and super-heroism/villainy.
** The Abyssal Attack depicted in Codex Quest(s) - where an Abyssal Great Horror attacked Angel's Coast - is looking likely to induce one, as while nobody died thanks to the efforts of heroic civilians, soldiers, metabeings, kaijus and gods, hundreds were exposed to eldritch energies and tainted blood from the Abyssal superweapon and its army of Lesser Horrors. Notable examples include Schmah aka the 'All-Seeing Martini', a former teenage con pretending to be a psychic who found himself developing genuine (and VERY potent) psychic powers due to latent potential being triggered by the Great Horror's psychic influence. It's also implied both windsurfers Amnutig and Gezeiten would also develop powers from contacting Abyssal blood contaminating the seawaters in the aftermath.
** During the Talon Bais War, the Gaelists attempted to weaponise [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equus-Unique-Materials-Energies-Pt-2-855077733 Shinka Rays]], hoping that it would destroy their Dragon and Dracosaur enemies just like [[Manga/GetterRobo they did the Dinosaurs]]. Instead, the experimental bomb they [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5089836922 dropped]] on an Angel Vale army [[EpicFail not only failed to kill most of them]], [[GoneHorriblyRight but had the opposite effect of temporarily empowering them]] into a horde of [[ImplacableMan nigh-unstoppable]] [[TheBerserker berserk]] [[OneManArmy juggernauts]] who proceeded to utterly annihilate the Gaelist army facing them and the Gaelist research group observing the test. While the effects soon wore off for most of them, many had lasting alteration or had metagenes activated due to exposure, and it's mentioned at least one force of supersoldiers and one group of Dracosaurian superheroes would be formed from the battle.
* MedievalStasis: The dragons of Angel Vale [[DefiedTrope rejected]] the stagnant nature their kind in the outside world. By the time the Veil is destroyed, Angel Vale is comparable to most advanced civilizations and has some of the most advanced power generation technology on the planet due to the Draconic Generators. This took everyone off guard due to the generally brutish nature of most dragons.
* MonsterTown: Angel Vale is an entire civilization of benevolent dragons.
* NamedByTheAdaptation:
** The dragon civilization in ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'' goes unnamed, here it's dubbed Angel Vale.
** The town the game takes place in also is unnamed, here it's given the name Cherub Cove.
* NoodleIncident: The 'Great Electric Eel Scourge' a decade before Angel Vale's reconnection with the outside world had led to all coastal facilities becoming electrically insulated. This proved convenient in "Codex Quest(s)" when Codex Researcher Mirthful Stone, thinking quickly about how to deal with hostile sealife attacking the Cherub Cove seafood restaurant, decided to drop a dragon-proportioned electrical bug-zapper into the cove to electrocute all the sea creatures in the water, as the insulation ensured they were not affected.
* OhMyGods: The dragons of Angel Vale tend to invoke the Angel, as she's effectively their patron goddess as well as their creator.
* PowerCrystal: Their Draconic Generators are powered by gem stones in the same manner Dragons can eat them to refuel their arcane processes. As they're abundant in the Fourth Age and many species, dragons included, now how to actively grow and farm them, this makes them a very cheap form of power generation.
* PragmaticAdaptation: Due to differences in how Codex works and difficulties in writing the source material as one coherent story. As a result, everything pertaining to [[spoiler:the Administrator, the origins of the dragons, and it being EarthAllAlong]] have been AdaptedOut, and a single romantic option was chose as the [[CuttingOffTheBranches 'canon' one while the others were turned to platonic relationships]]. The latter was due to the writer's difficulty writing romance in general and because of the differences between a dating sim and the story being told.
* RaceAgainstTheClock: Thanks to Changeling King Xestobium's actions, both Angel Vale and the neighboring kingdom of Ashfall have only ten days before the supervolcano erupts and kills everyone in Angel Vale, leaving Ashfall to slowly die in the volcanic winter. Shining Dove's main objective is to save both kingdoms from certain doom ''and'' stop Razorbill, who planned to let Angel Vale be destroyed in favor of Ashfall out of FantasticRacism towards the Dragons. While Shining Dove fails the first time, Ourophion helps him out by giving him [[GroundhogDayLoop unlimited time]] to figure things out within ten days. Fortunately for everyone (and unfortunately for Razorbill), Shining Dove eventually succeeds.
* TheRepublic: Angel Vale is a democracy in which the leadership, in the form of councils, are elected by the denizens to rule. It's noted this functions as a positive spinoff of dragonkind's traditional beliefs that power equals worthiness: instead of power in the traditional sense, they choose based on merit in the position to which they are elected. A Minister that poves incompetent in their position is considered unworthy and thus stripped of it. As with most examples in fiction, Angel Vale is entirely benevolent.
* SapientEatSapient: {{Subverted}}. Since its founding, Angel Vale's main residential species has always been Dragons, and as a consequence, most Dragons younger than Angel Vale as a country have never ''seen'' a 'Tiny,' let alone ''eaten'' one. Thus, unlike their mainland counterparts, eating live sapient creatures isn't something they're very interested in, though they aren't judgmental of those who eat evil people.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: [[spoiler:The ''entire setting'' gets spared: in the True Ending, the asteroid can't be diverted, and thus all the dragons are evacuated to Earth. Here, the supervolcano is stopped and thus Angel Vale isn't destroyed.]]
* StopBeingStereotypical: The vast majority of Dragons and Dracosaurs look down on those who choose to live up to harmful Draconic stereotypes, such as being arrogant, greedy brutes who dominate others by strength, take what they want, and eat other sapient creatures. According to Web Warrior, eating sapient creatures is extremely frowned upon in Angel Vale society to the point where it is officially treated as a hate crime. It's justified as the Angel worked extremely hard to free the Dracosaurs and any Dragons who followed her from the ViciousCycle of greed, hatred, and cruelty that brought them down, which ultimately cost her her life. Not choosing to be better and act like civilized creatures as the Angel intended them to be is treated as disrespecting not only the Angel's sacrifice, but also everything she and her followers stood for.
* SufficientlyAnalyzedMagic:
** The core aspect of much of Angel Vale's unique technology: they studied how dragons' elemental powers work to the point they can create technology that utilizes it. The biggest example is their Draconic Generators, which are effectively artificial Draconic mana cores. While still requiring a dragon to create them, they can use their natural elemental abilities to generate massive amounts of power, only requiring abundant gemstones as fuel. It's noted Pegasi, griffons, and other races doing the same thing created things like weather factories, it's just dragons' sheer power makes their magic exceptionally viable as an energy source. It's also noted Angel Vale likely knows more about how dragonkind's magic works than nearly anyone else on the planet, which makes their technology extremely valuable.
** They also managed to figure out each Dragon has their own unique magic signature that can be used to ID them. This [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/900966875/4988582292 screwed over a Talon Bais attempt to justify their war]].
* SummonBiggerFish: After everything is resolved, Ashfall still has to deal with all the raider groups out in the wastelands to truly recover. Thankfully, they now have a civilization of ''Dragons'' [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/898458204/4958322329 to help them]].
* ThereAreNoTherapists:
** Deconstructed. The fact that Cherub Cove had no mental health facilities or access to good, competent therapists means that a lot of Dragons involved in the time loop are left suffering from untreated psychological issues. This also means that Shining Dove, who is an ''ambassador'', was saddled with serving as Cherub Cove's unofficial therapist and saving both Ponies and Dragons from an impending natural disaster ''on top'' of his diplomatic duties. Naturally, Shining Dove later snaps from the stress and vents his frustrations on having to do everything by himself, leaving his allies feeling a little guilty for relying solely on him for everything.
** Tormura cites reading about this in the Codex itself as the reason she moved to Cherub Cove to become a psychologist and its local therapist, inspired by Dove's actions.
* TitleDrop: The Dragons of Angel Vale have been affectionately nicknamed '[[{{VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings}} Angels with Scaly Wings]]' by the Ponies of Ashfall for all the aid they gave them.
* UndyingLoyalty: The ponies from Ashfall have this for the dragons of Angel Vale, as [[IOweYouMyLife without them Ashfall would've been doomed]] and what was left of Duskfall would've remained lawless wasteland. As such, they are willing to risk their lives to help them in events such as the "Talon Bàis War".
* VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory: InUniverse. ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'' is depicted as a LighterAndSofter take on actual events that, while generally faithful to what happened, merely alludes to or cuts off the events' darkest moments entirely and depicts Shining Dove's main friends as potential romance partners. [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/898458204/4957842558 Shining Dove is not very pleased]].
* WastelandWarlord: Ashfall was full of warlord due to having been hit by a volcanic apocalypse, ruling over what little remained.
* WeHaveBecomeComplacent: Openly {{Defied}}: while Angel Vale has been protected by the Veil for thousands of years, they were real aware that it might fail someday after their patron goddess died to save them from a massive, wicked dragonflight. As such, they've spent all this time advancing and have an advanced army by present day.
* WorfHadTheFlu: While ''Draig Gwaed'' is a ''very'' dangerous weapon that can bypass dragon's defenses easily, it's noted one reason Razorbill was so successful with it is he always fought dragons indoors where they couldn't effectively fight back. He's still dangerous without it, but most of Dove's friends did so poorly in past confrontations because they confronted him in an enclosed facility where most of their strengths were negated or even turning them against them. As such, their plan for the FinalBattle involves luring him to a wide open area.

!!Angel Vale High Council
[[folder:General]]
* BigGood: The High Council as a whole serves as this for not only Angel's Throne, but the entirety of Angel Vale. While many other cities and towns do have their own Ministers like Cherub Cove, all of them ultimately answer to the Ministers of Angel's Throne. Notably, the Angel's Six's actions in stopping [[SerialKiller Razorbill]] brought the High Council's attention to the deep, rampant corruption affecting Cherub Cove's local Council, leading to the forced resignations (and later arrests) of crooked Ministers like Ornatum and his cabal.

[[folder:General Treu, Minster of Defense]]
!!!'''Character:''' Heroic
!!!'''Alignment:''' Lawful Good
!!!'''Type:''' Leader, Military Strategist, Dragon (Deinonychus Dracosaur),
!!!'''Faction:''' Angel Vale, Angel Armed Forces
\
General Treu (his entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Heroes-and-Villains-36-900966875 here]]) is the current Minister of Defense of Angel Vale and one of its best strategic minds.
----
* BrainsVersusBrawn: As shown in how he defeated the original Natural Resurgence Front, he is shown and implied to believe that the former will always defeat the latter.
* AFatherToHisMen: He cares deeply for the wellbeing of his soldiers.
* FeatheredDragons: As an adult Deinonychus Dracosaur, he's covered in feathers and his arms have grown enough to act as gliding wings.
* FourStarBadass: General Treu's title isn't for show; he is a capable soldier and strategist who commands as a FrontlineGeneral.
* FrontlineGeneral: In addition to laying down strategies he also commands from the front to ensure they are implemented correctly, fighting alongside his troops despite the risks to himself.
* GoofyFeatheredDinosaur: Subverted: as they reach adulthood, Deinonychus Dracosaurs grow feathers over much of their body and their arms sprout enough feathers to act as a gliding wing. Treu, however, is not the least bit goofy, being a skilled warrior very capable in combat and generally refined.
* RaptorAttack: General Treu is a Deinoychus Dracosaur, descended from one of the Dinosaur species considered 'Raptors' in popular imagination of modern times.
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: He is old enough to remember Angel Vale's founding, and saw 'The Angel', Angel Vale's patron goddess, sacrificing herself to create 'The Vale' which protected the island nation. Inspired by her sacrifice but also realising the implications of the Vale falling, he became the kindhearted but capable FourStarBadass he is today, with centuries of experience to back the latter attribute up.
* TheStrategist: General Treu proved his credentials as a FourStarBadass with many clever and effective strategies which helps Angel Vale resolve conflicts in a satisfactory victorious manner.
** During the attempted uprising by the Natural Resurgence Front (a faction of EvilReactionary Dragons who want the Dracosaurs of Angel Vale to go back to the 'GoodOldWays' of MightMakesRight barbarism), he not only defeated the faction militarily with minimal losses on both sides, but also defeated them ideologically by having their leaders be defeated by smaller dragon members of Angel Vale's armed forces, all but disproving their beliefs and destroying any support Angel Vale's dragons would have for them.
** At the outbreak of the Talon Bàis War, Treu was the one who devised a plan which would allow them to hold off the onslaught of the Talon Bàisian Griffon when they launched their genocidal wars against various Dragonflights and Free Dragon nations. Knowing they would most certainly invade through the Zebrican Gate, Treu fortified the entire entry-way and used the gate to funnel the main Gaelist force attacking Angel Vale through a choke-point, where they find themselves right in the crossfires of a well-fortified and prepared kill-zone where the Angel Vale military can shoot at them with impunity without fear of collateral damage. It was not a perfect trap, as some units did get through, but Angel Vale's plan had effectively stopped the Talon Bàisian assault dead in its tracks and minimized civilian casualties. Treu himself led as a FrontlineGeneral to ensure the trap succeeds.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: As a young whelp, she was discriminated against for being a Chromatic Red Dragon. As Red Dragons were stereotyped as TheBrute with a penchant for destruction and violence, she was either bullied to provoke a reaction from her, or talked about behind her back by people who feared what she would become. According to her, the moment she was old enough to move out, she did so and never looked back.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Upon meeting both the Researcher Trio and the Pillars for the first time, she squeals in excitement, having been greatly impressed with their heroism in Cherub Cove, and asks for their autographs. This pegs her as the most emotional member of the Bodyguard Trio.

!!The King's Witnesses
[[folder:General]]
* BattleCry: The King's Witnesses often shout, "For the King!" whenever they get into fights, as they worship [[Music/ElvisPresley Blue Suede Heartstrings]] and want to emulate him.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Being followers of Blue Suede/Caerulus, the King's Witnesses are generally nice. However, mess with them or anyone they care about (like Anya and her restuarant, Ma's Grill, which they treat as a LocalHangout), and they'll turn violent.
* GreaserDelinquents: The King's Witnesses is a local gang of Pony and Draconic Greasers in Angel's Throne who worship Blue Suede Heartstrings, aka King Caerulus Melodia Equestria-Corporatum. Because of this, they're generally pretty nice and they accept even females and LGBTQ members.
* LocalHangout: [[GreasySpoon Ma's Grill]] is a frequent hangout for them. It has good food and a jukebox with music for them to jam to, and the owner of the restaurant, Anya, is a motherly Stego-Dracosaur who treats the gang like her own children. When [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Lacom]] tries to buy Ma's Grill and evict Anya, the King's Witnesses immediately join Anya's side to help fight off Lacom's goons.
* OneSteveLimit: A group aversion; the gang share its name with the Second Age's King's Witnesses, a religious group Blue Suede Heartstrings was once part of.

[[folder:Steel Grit]]
A Pegasus Greaser and the leader of the King's Witnesses.
----
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He went through one, according to Zene. His being an Ashfall Pony made him a target for FantasticRacism due to the actions of [[SerialKiller Razorbill]], and it's implied he was also subjected to homophobia because he fell in love with Zene, a male Quartz Dragon. While he co-founded the King's Witnesses gang with Zene to protect others from being discriminated against like he was, his experiences deeply traumatized him to the point where he developed PerformanceAnxiety despite being a really good singer, and started smoking to help calm his nerves.
* InterspeciesRomance: He's a Pegasus who is in a committed relationship with Zene, a Quartz Dragon.
* IronicName: He's a Pegasus Greaser named Steel Grit, and he had the balls to burn Lacom's fradulent "deed" to ash with a cigarette despite the latter being accompanied by armed goons. Yet he also suffers from PerformanceAnxiety and PTSD from foahoold discrimination (including FantasticRacism and homophobia), prompting him to take up smoking just to calm himself down. It's ultimately subverted, however; thanks to the encouragement and positive influence of Jade Shell, his boyfriend Zene, and others, he powers through his issues and resolves to be better, even participating in the DinerBrawl and later the climatic battle against Lacom himself.
* TheLeader: He's the leader and a co-founder of the King's Witnesses, a gang of Pony and Draconic Greasers in Angel's Throne.
* MagicMusic: He's a natural singer and budding musical mage, which fuels various spells like SuperEmpowering and summoning tendrils of musical energy that turn into chains to restrain a 'Greed Growth'-transformed [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Lacom]]. According to him, his father taught him the spells himself. Unfortunately, Steel Grit suffered from PerformanceAnxiety, which made him reluctant to sing under the belief that he [[HeroicSelfDeprecation sounds bad]]. With encouragement from Jade Shell, Zene, and others, he ends up playing a role in Lacom's defeat. [[AmoralAttorney Schmutz]] even compares Steel Grit to a PrincessClassic character from a [[Creator/{{Disney}} Whinny cartoon film]].
* MeaningfulName: Steel Grit is a Pegasus Greaser who had the balls to brun up Lacom's fraudulent "deed" to Anya's restaurant with his cigarette, despite Lacom himself being flanked by multiple hired goons. Later, he becomes one of the patrons who helps Anya fight Lacom's goons to save her restaurant.
* OhCrap: He becomes extremely anxious whenever he has to sing in public. When Jade Shell asks him and his boyfriend Zene if they know any MagicMusic spells, he panics and refuses to sing until Jade Shell and Zene encourage him to do it, prompting him to empower the staff and patrons of Ma's Grill so they can beat back Lacom's hired goons. He lapses again when the jukebox changes to a song different from the one he was singing, prompting Zene and their fellow gang members in the King's Witnesses to encourage him again.
* SmokingIsCool: He was first introduced smoking a cigarette, which he shortly flicked at [[AmoralAttorney Schmutz]] and set fire to Lacom's fraudulent "deed" to Anya's restaurant. However, it's deconstructed as he's later revealed to smoke to help calm his own anxieties, which ultimately turns out to be harmful to his physical health. After he proves himself to be a [[MagicMusic musical mage]] with considerable budding talent, his boyfrind Zene gets him to quit cold turkey as he wants to hear him sing more and doesn't want him to destroy his "beautiful voice".
* StraightGay: He's the steady boyfriend of Zene, a Quartz Dragon Greaser, though that wasn't made apparent at first glance.
* SuperEmpowering: By singing, he can empower those around him, and he can reach more by combining his MagicMusic powers with [[MakeSomeNoise Zene]]'s. This turned out to be important when the staff and patrons of [[GreasySpoon Ma's Grill]] get into a DinerBrawl with Lacom's hired goons, and later a climatic fight with a transformed Lacom.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Zene]]
A Quartz Dragon Greaser and Steel Grit's boyfriend.
----
* InterspeciesRomance: He's a Quartz Dragon who is in a committed relationship with Steel Grit, a Pegasus.
* MakeSomeNoise: Being a Quartz Dragon gives him sound magic, letting him create concussive blasts of sound or help broadcast others sounds like Steel Grit's [[MagicMusic singing]].
* MeaningfulName: His name means "music" in Hungarian. He's a Greaser and a member of the King's Witnesses who worships Blue Suede Heartstrings, a musician and the Alicorn god of Musical Magic.
* StraightGay: He's the steady boyfriend of Steel Grit, a Pegasus Greaser and the leader of the King's Witnesses, though that wasn't made apparent at first glance.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: While generally mature with a good head on his shoulders, he let Steel Grit take up smoking and didn't stop him because it helped his boyfriend deal with issues coming from a DarkAndTroubledPast. It's deconstructed later on; after the battle with Lacom, he comes to realize Steel Grit's smoking is wrong and convinces the latter to stop it because he doesn't want his boyfriend to destroy his own voice that way. He also admits to reading about the dangers of smoking, further convincing him that smoking is actually hazardous to Steel Grit's health and not a good way to deal with his issues.

[[folder:Sister Dämmerung]]
Sister Dämmerung (Her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Angel-Vale-Notable-Individuals-923799133 here]]) is the current Highpriestess of the Angel and an Avalarian Black Dragoness/Shadow Dragonness
----
* CastingAShadow: She's a Shadow Dragon, and thus has command of shadow and darkness.
* ChocolateBaby: She's a Shadow Dragon while neither of her parents are, resulting in her father accusing her mother of cheating on him. It turns out her father [[{{Irony}} was the one]] with ''both'' types of Black Dragon in his genome and luck of the draw resulted in her being born one.
* TheChosenOne: It turns out she was selected by the Angel's spirit personally to become the Highpriestess and made a Cleric. Part of this is due to her being a Black Dragon and it making a statement the Angel doesn't want racism in Angel Vale. It's worth noting she's the ''only'' true Cleric of the Angel chosen after her death, which was only possible because they formed a link in the Veil.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Dämmerung was victim of racial prejudice due to being/looking like a Black Dragon (the most feared and reviled Chromatic Dragonkind due to their infamous sadism, cruelty and viciousness), [[AbusiveParent abused by her parents]] due to that and the possibility she's born out of wetlock due to both of them being different species, joined a street gang in a failed attempt to fit in, and attempted suicide out of despair when she couldn't take it anymore. Fortunately the Angel saved her and encouraged her to keep living, directing her to Angel's Throne where she would join the Church of the Angel and eventually become the Highpriestess.
* DarkIsNotEvil: She's a Shadow Dragon, and thus has darkness and shadow as her elemental power. She's entirely benevolent and Angel Vale's resident GoodShepherd.
* DrivenToSuicide: Due to abuse, being ostracized for supposedly being born out of wedlock, and being unable to be a 'proper' Black Dragon, she attempted suicide by drowning herself in the ocean. Fortunately, she drifted through the Veil, allowing the Angel's spirit to save her and give her a second chance at life.
* FantasticRacism: She was subjected to racial abuse in the past by those around her due to being a Black Dragon, owing to their infamous reputation. She is [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5104545302 still]] subjected to this despite being chosen by the Angel to be the Highpriestess from bigoted 'followers' who don't think she deserves her post due to her race, even with their goddess practically telling them ''to their faces'' she is worthy.
* GoodShepherd: She's the Highpriestess of the Church of the Angel, and thus genuinely heroic, benevolent, and compassionate, trying to live up to the Angel's teachings. Her EstablishingCharacterMoment is arriving to protect civilians from Lesser Horrors. She also fully accepts Mirthful Stone's views on religion and is generally reasonable.
* {{Irony}}: She's an Avalarian Black Dragoness, or Shadow Dragon, and she looks very close to her race's progenitor, Lady Cinder. Dämmerung is the Highpriestess of the Church of the Angel and a benevolent religious leader in Angel Vale.
* MamasBabyPapasMaybe: Her father abused her mother and abandoned them both because she was a Black Dragon while neither parent was, causing him to accuse his wife of being unfaithful. As it turns out, it was ''his'' bloodline that had ''both'' types of Black Dragon in it and genetic lottery just resulted in her being one.
* PiousMonster: She's the devote highpriestess of the Angel and a very religious dragoness. She used to be a nun, but a vision from the Angel freed her from her vow and allowed her to travel into the outside world and act as the GoodShepherd. She even goes by the title 'Sister,' which is still accurate even after she stopped being a nun (while nuns go by the title Sister, there are Sisters who go by that name who aren't nuns and travel into the outside world to do religious work).
* TheSacredDarkness: She's a Shadow Dragon, and entirely benevolent.
* {{Sadist}}: As an Avalarian Black/Shadow Dragon, she has a measure of sadism in her blood. However, she's too nice to actually hurt an innocent person and it only comes into play if she's forced to fight genuinely vile people.

Sister Finsternis (introduced in [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5104545302 this drabble]]) is Dämmerung's predecessor as High Priestess of the Angel.

----

* FantasticRacism: Defied: Finsternis embraced Dämmerung with open arms despite her being a Black Dragon and became her ParentalSubstitute.
* GoodShepherd: She's a genuinely faithful, benevolent priestess of the Angel and religious leader. She was the former High Priestess and the one who taught Dämmerung to be a GoodShepherd herself.
* ParentalSubstitute: She essentually became Dämmerung's maternal figure after the Black Dragon joined the Church of the Angel.

[[folder:Dr. Weeping Willow/Supermind]]

Dr. Weeping Willow (introduced in [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5074722516 this drabble]]) is a Second Age scientist who was reduced to a BrainInAJar by his psychotic assistant and would survive into the Fourth Age as a superhero.
----
* AbusiveParent: It's implied his father was not the nicest Pony and may had abandoned him to fend for himself.
* TheAgeless: His transformation into a BrainInAJar rendered incapable of aging, even what a brain normally experiences. This allows him to survive well into the Fourth Age.
* ArchEnemy: For Drachenmeister, his intellectual rival and the most dangerous supervillain in Angel Vale.
* BigDamnHeroes: Of all people, [[TheDreaded Archona, the Last Archonian]] was this to him as he was relieved when she came to stop him (or rather his stupid evil assistant) and saved Green Meadow, who was kidnapped to lure her to his lab in the Arctic so his assistant could transfer his brain into her body (or at least that was the plan until he realised too late that she's the wrong gender).
* BrainInAJar: Reduced to this after his body died of cancer, courtesy of his assistant. He's not exactly happy about it.
* CommonalityConnection: Weeping Willow and Aerri [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5074937310 would]] get along over their respective experiences with cancer and horrible assistants. He would offer his assistance in Aerri's cancer cure research and was overjoyed when her group managed to beat her cancer.
* {{Cyborg}}: Became one via putting his BrainInAJar inside robotic exoskeletons. He was actually installed in one by his assistant, but in his utter idiocy he neglected to tell Dr. Weeping Willow that.
* DeathByIrony: He tried to cure cancer, but ends up physically dying to cancer himself.
* EnragedByIdiocy: His assistant, Dr. Unfortunate Fowl, enraged him as much by being a moron as he did by being evil.
* {{Expy}}: Of Dr. Wheelo from ''Recap/DragonBallZAbridgedM10''.
* GoalInLife: Nothing short of beating cancer in all forms. He's still got a long way to go, but he's still working on it.
* HyperCompetentSidekick: Subverted HARD to his detriment. Having an assistant who was anything but useful and being an idiotic, sexist, psychopathic, and utterly incompetent monster led to him experiencing a LOT of grief.
* RageBreakingPoint: When even after Archona arrived and agreed to kill his assistant for him Dr. Unfortunate Fowl couldn't die fast enough, Willow entered a berserk rage, activated the robotic exoskeleton he was installed in ''the entire time'' (but was not informed of it by his idiotic assistant), atomising Dr. Unfortunate Fowl and fought Archona before Green Meadow calmed him down.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Unlike Abridged!Dr. Wheelo, who he's based on, he didn't die (again) of brain cancer, but survived well into the Fourth Age, tens of thousands of years later.
* TraumaCongaLine: By his own words, he was a brilliant cancer researcher who (ironically enough) died of cancer, but had his brain transferred by his psychotically incompetent assistant into a jar, where he was left alone for ''fifty years'', and being ForcedToWatch as his idiotically evil assistant commit atrocities in his name but against his wishes such as turning his creations meant to help people into weapons. It's little wonder he was glad to see Archona arrive to stop him once and for all and also briefly experiencing a berserker rage when his assistant won't die fast enough and did him in himself inside a robotic exoskeleton (which his assistant forgot to actually ''tell him'' about).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Durfan/Web Warrior]]
The Fourth Age's incarnation of Web Warrior, succeeding the Second Age's Web Warrior. His real name is Dürfen.
----
* AllWebbedUp: Due to his spider powers, he has the ability to shoot webs, with glands in his mouth and each wrist. He does point out he does ''not'' have a gland in his rear end, with his expression implying he's been asked before.
* AnimalThemedSuperbeing: He has spider-based superpowers, including super agility, reflexes, SuperStrength, and SuperToughness. He can also shoot webs, but it's unclear if that's biological or technological.
* BigDamnHeroes: When Jade Shell is left FlippingHelpless during a fight with a [[TerrifyingTyrannosaur Tyranno-Dracosaur]] goon (who turned out to be a Neo-NRF straggler), he arrives by swinging in and kicking the Tyranno-Dracosaur with enough force to send the latter flying.
* BystanderSyndrome: Deconstructed. He refused to help stop a thief despite having gained powers from his spider bite, arrogantly believing that a superhero would take care of it. He ends up paying for his indifference when the same thief broke into his house and killed a beloved family member, and he doesn't realize his mistake until after he went after the thief in revenge and defeated him. The experience makes him vow to never again become a self-absorbed {{Jerkass}}, and he becomes a superhero to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.
* IShallTauntYou: He often dishes out witty taunts and quips to enrage his opponents into making mistakes, making them easier for him to deal with. The only times he doesn't do it are when he's facing foes he deems to be truly despicable, such as Dragons and/or Dracosaurs who decide to give in to their predatory instincts and eat other sapient creatures.
* LegacyCharacter: The original Web Warrior existed in the Second Age. Dürfen took up the name when he got spider powers.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: He is ''enraged'' whenever people try to [[SapientEatSapient eat other sapient creatures]], to the point of dropping his usual taunts and quips. He sees the act of eating a sapient creature as the most despicable thing a Dragon or Dracosaur can do in Angel Vale (barring genuine insanity), and he mentions a few past confrontations with criminals depraved enough to give in to their predatory instincts. He also rescues a defenseless Jade Shell from being devoured by a [[TerrifyingTyrannosaur Tyranno-Dracosaur]] by kicking her attacker hard enough to send the latter flying, with his following response being devoid of all snark.
--> '''Web Warrior:''' ''(bellowing)'' '''NO EATING TALKING CREATURES ALLOWED!'''
* SpiderManSendUp: As with the Second Age Web Warrior, he's based off Spider-Man with the expected powers.
* SuperStrength: Despite being a [[FragileSpeedster Deinonychus Dracosaur]], and not even a full grown one, he's incredibly strong even by dragon standards. He's capable of stopping a charging Triceratops Dracosaur's charge in its tracks, lifting them off the ground, and slamming them into the ground hard enough to knock them out. Later, he saves a completely helpless Jade Shell by swinging in and kicking her attacker, a Tyranno-Dracosaur, with enough force to send the latter flying.
* SuperToughness: One power he got was enhanced durability. This is fortunate, as Deinonychus Dracosaurs are normally one of the more fragile dragon species (though still tough by nondragon standards).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lizmark/Big Lizz]]
A superheroine who also has a side job as a criminal defense attorney. Her real name is Lizmark.
----
* CrusadingLawyer: She is a genuinely good lawyer who helps others, including her fellow Leaguers. Web Warrior calls her in to help Ma with the recent legal problems she's dealing with.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She went through similar racism as Körper, but for being a Green Dragon. In her time, Green Dragons were stereotyped as {{Manipulative Bastard}}s who screwed people over, and she was expected by others to do the same if she grew up. Some of her neighbors were so racist that they saw her being born DelicateAndSickly as a ''good'' thing. Needless to say, her experiences, combined with learning about the hardships innocent Chromatic Dragons go through for what they are, motivated her to move out and become both a criminal defense lawyer and a superheroine.
* DoesNotKnowHerOwnStrength: According to her, after she gained her "Greed Growth" ability at a young age, she had problems controlling it, leading to incidents where she ripped open doors clean off their hinges despite not intending to. She did manage to gain control over her power eventually.
* EmeraldPower: She's a ''Green'' Dragoness, which gives her a [[PoisonousPerson poison breath]]. She also has the Draconic "[[HulkingOut Greed Growth]]" power, but unlike most Dragons who become mindless, rampaging monsters when they do it, she can do it without any consequences whatsoever, even changing her size at will.
* FantasticRacism: She suffered this as a young whelp due to rampant prejudice against [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Chromatic Dragons]] at the time. Everyone expected her to grow up to become a ManipulativeBastard because she was born a Green Dragon (which in ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' have a love for secrets, manipulation, and deception as racial traits), and according to her, several of her neighbors were so racist that they thought her being born DelicateAndSickly was a ''good'' thing. She eventually proved all of her detractors wrong by becoming a criminal defense attorney and superheroine, serving as a positive example for other Green Dragons while protecting them from discrimination.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: She's a Green Dragon, one of the Chromatic Dragon types that possesses both a keen, [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative]] intellect and a [[PoisonousPerson poisonous breath]].
* PoisonousPerson: As a Green Dragon, her elemental power is Poison, allowing her to spew out a poisonous breath.
* PunnyName: Both her superhero name and her real name have the word "Liz[z]", which is a shortened form of the word "lizard". Dragons are reptilian creatures that resemble lizards.
* SizeShifter: Her superpower includes being able to Greed Growth at will while retaining her sanity, thus her name "Big Lizz".

[[folder:Furcht & Sturm/Double Feature]]
A superhero member of the League of Powers. They consist of mix-gendered twins Furcht (female) and Strum (male).
----
* BadPowersGoodPeople: Furcht is a Fear Dragoness, and thus has the fitting powers. She's a superhero and very much on the side of good.
* BlowYouAway: Sturm is a Wind Dragon, and thus has wind powers.
* ConjoinedTwins: Like Deadlock, the two are conjoined twins, creating a dragon with a single body (split down the middle with their coloration) and two heads.
* MultipleHeadcase: Double Feature has two heads due to being ConjoinedTwins, each being an different sibling.
* PolarOppositeTwins: Furcht is energetic and more upfront, while Sturm is more stoic and reserved.
* SupernaturalFearInducer: Furcht is a Fear Dragon, and thus can use a sonic scream that can inflict fear on her enemies, among other powers.

[[folder:Heldgang/Cyberdrake]]
Cyberdrake, real name Heldgang (first introduced [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5074566112 here]]), is one of the younger members of the League of Powers, being a superpowered cyborg dracosaur with a great zest for life and affinity for technology.

[[folder:Sir Shining Scales, the Gleaming Champion]]
Characterised prominently in [[{{Recap/CodexEquusCodexQuests}} Codex Quest(s)]], Sir Shining Scales is the last remaining member of the Order of the Shining Scales, having taken up their name in their memory. Surviving a FinalBattle with the Order's ArchEnemy Zaubauer the Sorceror, he was forced into an enchanted healing sleep for centuries before waking up in modern day
----
* ArchEnemy: Has one in Zaubauer the Sorceror, currently a member of the Circle of Fiends, who was his chivalric order's greatest enemy and the drake who destroyed it in a FinalBattle long ago.
* CoolSword: His enchanted sword is a MagicalWeapon, with its own great power allowing it to counter other magic to a degree such as that of Torquem Memorias, and cut through the eldritch auras and carapaces of Abyssal Lesser Horrors.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: He spent many, many centuries sleeping away the ages following the Order's FinalBattle with Zaubauer the Sorceror, waking up in the bewildering world of modern Angel Vale.
* FloweryElizabethanEnglish: Mostly Subverted, as while he lapses back into this from time to time, he is already fluent in modern Angel Vale language and mannerism after his time spent in modern day.
* KnightInShiningArmor: His entire schtick, being an honourable and heroic knight from medieval Angel Vale who survived and reawakened in the present. Also quite literally this as he wore an orange shining enchanted armour in battle.
* MasterSwordsman: He wields an enchanted sword in combat and is very skilled with it.

* AlwaysABiggerFish: While Herrlich and his Neo-NRF were dangerous and could had started a reactionary uprising and civil war with their plot, they are small-fry compare to the Circle of Fiends, who are a coalition of A-List supervillains commanding a whole faction of lesser supervillains and minions.
* BigBad: One of several individuals and groups in Angel Vale warranting the title, but especially so collectively for the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis.
* TheDreaded: The Circle of Fiends are feared in Angel Vale. Even Korper of the Bodyguard Trio in Codex Quest(s) seemed unnerved by the mere depiction of them in a theme park attraction. Many drakes are reluctant to even DISCUSS their existence.
* EvilerThanThou: The Bodyguard Trio had hinted that the Circle of Fiends makes even Herrlich and Neo-NRF look like ''rank amateurs'' with their super-villainy.
* LegionOfDoom: The Circle of Fiends is an organization led by a group of A-List supervillains with many more lesser supervillains and minions under their command.
* SlidingScaleOfVillainThreat: By and far one of the most dangerous internal threats to Angel Vale, being a LegionOfDoom composed of multiple A-List supervillains commanding whole armies of mooks and lesser supervillains which is capable of threatening the entire country as demonstrated in the 'Fiendish Uprising'. Drachenmeister in particular is implied to be capable of becoming a ''global'' threat, being in the same ballpark as ''Overmare'' from the Second Age.

!!!Major/Leader Villains

[[folder:???/Drachenmeister]]
First introduced in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5070799263 Drabble]], Drachenmeister - also known simply as Dragonmaster - is the Black Dragon co-founder and leader of the Circle of Fiends, and widely considered the greatest SuperVillain in Angel Vale, being a devious, calculating, sauve mastermind and intellectual prodigy in science and technology in the same vein and ballpark as the legendary Overmare of the Second Age, and like her will stop at nothing at bringing Angel Vale if not the entire world under his self-perceived benevolent if iron-clawed rule.
----
* TheAce: Widely considered ''the'' greatest supervillain in Angel Vale and likely one of the greatest on Fourth Age Equus as a whole, being a devious, calculating, ruthless and megalomaniacal mastermind whose intellect, competence and achievements are in the same ballpark as ''Overmare''.
* AbhorrentAdmirer: Is [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 considered]] one by Aerri, who despite his respect and even possible attraction for her considers him to be 'too much of a fucking megalomaniac' for her.
* ActuallyADoombot: Like Doctor Doom, Drachenmeister has his own series of automaton duplicates call '[[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5073441750 Drachenbots]]', who on top of impersonating him could also act as his remote-controlled avatars and support weapons platforms. He is notably clever in deploying them, such as during the 'Fiendish Uprising' conflict when on top of using them to ZergRush his ArchEnemy in the League of Powers, he also use them to simutaneously coordinate the vast operation and still have enough outthink his equally brilliant archenemy by tapping into their additional processing power as a HiveMind to enhance his already considerable intellect.
* AffablyEvil: Ruthless and megalomaniacal, but also impeccably polite and strictly honourable with a dry sense of humour and a willingness to talk politely with those willing to listen. He is respected as he is feared for it.
* AllTheOtherReindeer: It is heavily implied from his Drabble's description blurb that his Black Dragon heritage goes a long way in his StartOfDarkness as it robbed him of any chance of showing off his brilliance and using his prodigious intellect legitimately to benefit Angel Vale, turning him into the proud and bitter SuperVillain he would become who would try to take over and make Angel Vale a utopia by force.
* ArchEnemy: Of Prof. Weeping Willow/Supermind, his intellectual rival and member of the heroic League of Powers who served as a collective archenemy to the Circle of Fiends (and vice-versa).
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Gave [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 one]] to Aerri during an attempt to [[WeCanRuleTogether persuade her to join his side]], when she disagrees with his assertion that Angel Vale would be better with him in charge. [[StunnedSilence One Aerri has no response to]].
--> '''Drachenmeister:''' Think of the heights you can take us, with those like ourselves... with me.\
'''Aerri:''' Not with you, Drachenmeister. You may be smarter and better than most drakes, but you’re still too much of a fucking megalomaniac for my taste.\
'''Drachenmeister:''' Yet even if I am, would you rather someone like me at the reins of Angel Vale then the likes of Ornatum?\
'''Aerri:''' [[StunnedSilence ...]]
* ArmorPiercingResponse: Related to above, he would eventually [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077435877 get one]] from Aerri, who pointed out that even if he's right, his megalomaniacal belief that he could make Angel Vale and the world a utopia in his image is doomed to fail because PerfectionIsImpossible, and that unlike her he cannot count on his friends (many of his fellow Circle of Fiends colleagues being untrustworthy psychos) to have his back to bring his vision to reality. [[GracefulLoser He concedes]] she has [[{{Touche}} a valid point]].
* BatmanGambit: He [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077091733 contacted]] and established a rapport with the Researcher Trio during the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis, knowing that they are researchers of the now world-famous ''"Codex Equus"'' project who would inevitably write entries on him and his Circle of Fiends and wanting to [[FameThroughInfamy maximise publicity]] in a way that would benefit him and his Circle across the world. He even flat-out told the Researcher Trio of his intent, knowing they simply have no choice under the circumstances.
* TheChessmaster: Known for his multi-layered plots, like Changeling Emperor Blackthorn, Drachenmeister plans things in a such a way that he and the Fiends could potentially [[XanatosGambit achieve multiple objectives and stem to benefit in some way]] no matter the outcome.
* ColdHam: In [[{{Foil}} contrast]] to the bombastic Overmare, Drachenmeister is generally calm, composed and collected nearly at all times, but nevertheless still possess an inclination towards making grandiose speeches and impressive monologues.
* DeadpanSnarker: He rather sardonically thanked the entire Angel Vale government and nearly all of Angel Vale's politicians at the start of the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis for conveniently gathering in one place simutaneously to help make his attempted takeover much easier, as it opens them up for a DecapitationStrike.
* DiabolicalMastermind: It takes a respectable level of both diabolical and mastermind to be able to threaten Angel Vale as a supervillain in the same ballpark as ''Overmare''.
* DirtyCoward: Subverted. While possessing enough FunctionalGenreSavvy to avoid taking [[IdiotBall unnecessary risks]] by exposing himself to the enemy, he [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5073441750 made it clear]] that he is still willing to personally stare defeat and death in the face by personally taking matters into his own claws. As he pointed out, he would not had the [[VillainRespect respect of his minions and villainous peers]] today if he isn't willing to face danger and do things personally. He's implied to be offended when Gigaclaws called him out during the 'Fiendish Uprising' conflict for being a coward by doing most of the fighting with Drachenbots instead of fighting in person.
* TheDreaded: Drachenmeister is feared by the entirety of Angel Vale as its greatest supervillain, being on the same ballpark as ''Overmare'' in intellect and ability as well as possessing similar levels of ambition and ruthlessness.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: His first Drabble appearance has him making a grand entrance at a national event, politely greeting everyone present, being recognised by many with shock and dread, describe himself as Angel Vale's future benevolent leader, frankly explaining his intent to execute a regime change, and then sardonically thanking them for conveniently placing themselves to be easily removed. This immediately establishes him as a dangerous figure with a feared reputation, sauve character, grandiose ego, ruthless ambition, devious brilliance and a dry sense of humour.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Drachenmeister's personal experiences and code of honour makes him, like many dragons, to immediately regard Lauffeuer/Trotfire with disgust once his past as a neglectful/abusive father of Fremdar is brought to his attention. He [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077453828 made it clear]] later on he intends to [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness dispose of him once he had outlived his usefulness]] partly because of this, though his defeat and arrest at the end of the 'Fiendish Uprising' conflict renders it unnecessary.
* {{Expy}}: One for Doctor Doom and Overmare both in-universe and out with his ruthless ambition, honourable character and intellectual brilliance.
* FriendlyEnemy: His AffablyEvil character caused him to develop amiciable rapport with his opponents even as both do their damn hardest to defeat each other.
** He has great respect for Aerri as a fellow prodigy able to not only match but even surpass him, leading to him spending as much time trying to bring her to his side as he fights him, and is more disappointed than angry or bitter that they can't work together. It's rumoured he even developed a VillainousCrush for her, but nothing's confirmed.
** He cultivated a friendly rapport with the Researcher Trio during the Fiendish Uprising conflict, respecting not only their heroism in earlier crises such as the Cherub Cove Tech-Terror incident but also their work as members of the Codex Equus project, as well as wanting to control the narrative to his advantage by providing non-sensitive but informative details of himself and his Circle of Fiends to help the Trio write entries about them.
* FrontlineGeneral: Zigzagged. On one claw, he is implied to have [[OrcusOnHisThrone hung back in his forward base of operations]] while letting his peers, minions and Drachenbots do all the work. On the other claw, he doesn't really have to but is still doing it in a fashion as he consider the Drachenbots as extensions of himself with their HiveMind. He believes a leader should be willing to put themselves in danger if it could help achieve their goals, but still believes recklessly exposing oneself to it is stupid if it could be avoided.
* GadgeteerGenius: Drachenmeister's forte includes this, inventing and building incredible technology such as his [[ActuallyADoombot Drachenbot]] decoys/avatars. To demonstrate his intellectual and scientific/technological prowess, he once took a look at a vehicle engine sized Draconic Generator which took a research branch three years to develop which could power a hall for weeks and need only monthly maintainence, thought he could do better, and created an entirely new Draconic Generator design which is only the size of a soup-can but could power a skyscraper for years and only requires maintainence in a half-century, and managed to do it within ''three hours'' (and apply it within three days to his own creations). It's [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5076884772 noted]] that his innovations usually blows literally everything entire research organisations and national resouces could produce out of the water.
* HiveMind: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5073441750 Created one]] using his [[ActuallyADoombot Drachenbots]] automaton duplicates, with himself as the central control at its heart. This allows him to tap into the cogitative processors of the automatons for extra thinking power to coordinate large-scale villainous schemes like the 'Fiendish Uprising' AND still have enough to spare to outthink his ArchEnemy in the League of Powers. However, Aerri [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5077526093 figures out the flaw]] in it: inflicting SensoryOverload on ''all'' of his Drachenbots at the same time also overloads ''Drachenmeister's'' senses.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: A Black Dragon whelp [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5077468949 reveals to him he's the reason the whelp was abused for his race]] due to the supervillain's actions. It's implied Drachenmeister was genuinely horrified to realize that despite his best efforts, all he'd done was make his race have a ''worse'' reputation rather than help them.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Drachenmeister [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5082286878 noted]] to Web Warrior that at least in his point of view they are not so different in upholding the principle WithGreatPowerComesGreatResponsibility: both possess great power/brilliance and take it upon themselves to use it for the greater good, whether or not the world understands or apprieciates their methods or what they do for them, and because of this Drachenmeister do respect Web Warrior to a degree. Web Warrior is shakened by his words [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame but does NOT agree]].
* SoiledCityOnAHill: In his [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 opinion]], he believes despite Angel Vale's earnest attempt to be better, their system is still too flawed and its people still too hindered by their natures, self-interest, narrow-mindedness and prejudices to fully live up to its ideals of progress and allow those who actually could (those like himself and Aerri) to achieve their full potential. He fully intends on fixing this and take Angel Vale to the future - first by taking it over.
* TakeOverTheWorld: Like Overmare, his ambition is implied [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 by his own words]] to be not limited to just Angel Vale.
* VillainRespect:
** Drachenmeister [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5082286878 admits]] he actually respects Web Warrior for his adherence to WithGreatPowerComesGreatResponsibility, believing the truly great bears responsibility to do what is best for the world, regardless of whether the world understands or apprieciates it, and believes they are only different in how they do so or how far they are willing to go to do it. [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame Web Warrior does not agree]].
** He's noted as having a great deal of respect for Aerri as an intellectual equal or superior who suffered in the past.
** He comes to have a great deal of respect for [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/990695668/5093723329 Sunspot, the Volcanic Phoenix]], due to the young Skylander being a fellow exceptional individual who's suffered for things outside of his control. Sunspot doesn't return it. Drachenmeister is notably impressed when [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5093814527 Sunspot managed to melt the synthetic diamond heat shield]] of one of his 'control node' Drachenbots, something he'd believed impossible.
* VillainousCrush: RUMOURED to have developed one for Aerri, and also rumoured that [[ReallyGetsAround she reciprocates]] to [[DatingCatwoman some degree]], but nothing is definitely confirmed.
* VisionaryVillain: In his [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 own words]], he want to take Angel Vale to the stars, believing that its current society and culture is flawed and want to bring it to a new age of prosperity and power under a brilliant visionary and intellect like himself. Only then in his opinion can Angel Vale truly live up to its ideals of progress and its potential. He also extends his ambition to potentially [[TakeOverTheWorld the rest of the world if he could]].
* WeCanRuleTogether: [[VillainRespect Respecting and sympathising]] with Aerri as a [[WorthyOpponent fellow intellectual peer]] held back from her full potential and greatness by small-minded drakes and the world they lived in, Drachenmeister [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 earnestly offers her]] a place at his side so they could 'take Angel Vale and the world to the stars' together, keeping the offer open even when she continues to turn him down.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Like Overmare, he believes Angel Vale is better off with him in charge and fully desire to take it to a golden age of prosperity and power under his prodigous leadership. All he had to do is take it over first, whether the rest of Angel Vale liked it or not.
* WickedCultured: He's noted to be impeccable and sauve in both conduct and character, strongly suggesting a drake of class and taste.
* WorthyOpponent: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077365505 Considers]] both Dr. Weeping Willow/Supermind and later Aerri Vaughhoof to be this, since both prove themselves to be among the few in Angel Vale and beyond who could not only remotely match but even (in Aerri's case) surpass him in intellect and ability.
* XanatosGambit: In a testament of his genius, it's lampshaded that even his simplest plots, such as simply [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077091733 communicating]] with the Researcher Trio during the Fiendish Uprising, are designed in such a way that he stands to benefit in some way no matter what, making him a master of the 'Blackthorn Gambit' as they are called in-universe in the Fourth Age.

[[folder:???/Red Rage, the Crimson Wrath]]
First introduced in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5072011902 Drabble]], Red Rage is a Red Dragoness with the ability to control her 'Rage Growth', a form of Draconic 'Greed Growth' fueled by rage instead of Greed, making her a formidable supervillainess capable of matching Big Lizz and being one of her archenemies.

[[folder:???/Grim Gremlin]]
First introduced in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5070888438 Drabble]], the Grim Gremlin is the maniacal ArchEnemy of Durfan/Web Warrior of Angel Vale in the same vein as the Azure Archfiend was the ArchEnemy of Mulberry Park/Web Warrior of Second Age Ponyland.
----
* AxCrazy: He's described as maniacal, and likely as violently crazy as both Azure Archfiend and Green Goblin.
* {{Expy}}: Of the Green Goblin, specifically the famous cinematic version of him in ''Film/SpiderMan1'' and ''Film/SpiderManNoWayHome'' played by Creator/WillemDafoe.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Zauberer the Sorceror]]
First introduced in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5071949701 Drabble]], Zauberer the Sorceror is the archenemy of the superhero Shining Scales, and is an arrogant and ambitious magician from medieval times who believes Dragonkind's future lies in mastering magic and sought to turn Angel Vale into a magocracy with those like him in charge.
----
* TheAce: Zauberer is, in both medieval and even modern times, considered to be one of the most formidable, brilliant and greatest Dragon magicians of Angel Vale and the wider world.
* TheArchmage: Zauberer is powerful and skilled enough in his mastery of magic to threaten Angel Vale with a takeover.
* ArchEnemy: Is one to a heroic Dragon knight from his time, Shining Scales, the Gleaming Champion, as he was the one who managed to defeat him back in medieval times, while Zauberer destroyed nearly the entire order Shining Scales was part of.
* AmbitionIsEvil: He's noted to be ambitious in character. He wanted to create a magocracy on Angel Vale where the greatest magicians would rule, with him and those like him being in charge.
* EvilLuddite: Downplayed. He's not against PROGRESS or even technology per say, but he views technology as transient and less reliable than the magic they are born with and believes magic should assume a preeminent role over technology.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Zauberer awoke from his healing slumber to find himself in the bewildering (magi-)technologically-advanced Angel Vale of the modern era, but wasted no time resuming his villainy.
* HeroKiller: He wiped out most of the heroic Knightly Order of Shining Scales who fought to stop his medieval reign of villainy in their FinalBattle, but was gravely wounded by one of its few surviving members who would be his greatest archenemy.
* InsufferableGenius: Noted to be arrogant, yet he is also legitimately skilled and powerful as a magician.
* MeaningfulName: [[PunnyName Zauberer]] means '[[ShapedLikeItself Sorceror]]' in German.
* UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans: He believes Angel Vale would prosper as a powerful magocracy with the likes of him in charge and would do whatever it takes to make it a reality.
* VillainRespect: He respected the Angel and agreed with her that Dragonkind need to grow and change in order to become better. His issue with Angel Vale is HOW it's being done.

[[folder:???/Patriarch Pain]]
First mentioned in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5074566112 Drabble]], Patriarch Pain is the ArchEnemy of Cyberdrake, a charismatic and sadistic supervillain infamous for turning young dragons and dracosaurs into new generations of professional villains and meta-criminals for his and other malevolent factions' purposes.

[[/folder]]

!!!Minor/Subordinate Villains

[[folder:Lauffeuer/Torchfire]]
An Avalarian Fire Dragon and Fremder's birth father. While initially HappilyMarried to Limette, he drove her away due to his desire to put Fremder up for adoption for being 'defective'. His life went downhill from there, and in desperation and bitterness he turned to a life of crime - a road which together with an industrial accident would serve to make him into someone far worse and far more dangerous...
----
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Surprisingly well-deserved example. When word got out of Limette's divorce from him and the reason for it, his colleagues and superiors were [[EveryoneHasStandards utterly disgusted]] with him for how he treated his daughter, to the point his foredrake [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5069236404 had]] him fired and blacklisted at first opportunity. This unfortunately set off his descend into implied supervillainy.
* AbusiveParents: He became emotionally abusive to his daughter, Fremder, after he discovered she has non-speaking, low-functioning autism, seeing her as "unfit" and "defective". He tried convincing his wife, Limette, to put Fremder up for adoption... but underestimated how much Limette loved her daughter, leading to Limette divorcing him to protect Fremder.
* DelusionsOfParentalLove: Inverted from Lauffeuer and Subverted from Fremder. Despite trying to put her up for adoption for being 'defective', he still had the gall to try and justify himself and get into Fremder's good graces when she [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5069232748 visited]] him in prison after the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis. Fremder natrually is [[YoureNotMyFather having none of it]].
* DisappearedDad: He's Fremder's birth father who's presently uninvolved in his young daughter's life. It's justified as he didn't like how Fremder was born autistic and tried convincing his wife, Limette, to put their daughter up for adoption so he wouldn't deal with raising an "unfit" and "defective" whelp. Limette was angered by this and divorced him to protect her daughter.
* EliteMook: Implied to have become one under the Circle of Fiends in recent [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5069240374 Drabbles]], having developed superpowers in an [[FreakLabAccident construction site accident]] and having turned to a life of crime in desperation and bitterness, which eventually caused him to fall in with the supervillain faction.
* FaceHeelTurn: Downplayed as he was already a jackass, but he got MUCH worse after Limette divorced him.
* HopeSpot: After the Fiendish Uprising conflict, Lauffeuer [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5082404270 received]] a letter in prison that's apparently from Fremder, giving him hope that he could 'reconnect' with his daughter... except it isn't from Fremder, who now wanted nothing to do with him, but her fellow Hatchery hatchlings, who wrote the letter to humiliate and insult him further with crude crayon drawings depicting the Angel's Six beating him up and writing "YOU SUCK!" in capital letters. His look of slack-jaw despair afterwards made even the prison correction officers to [[AlasPoorVillain almost feel sorry for him]]. Almost.
--> '''Prison Correction Officer:''' Dang, those kids don't let up.
* HumiliationConga: His life after Limette divorced him to protect Fremder is one (well-deserved) bad thing after another. His colleagues ostrasized him for his treatment of Fremder. His fore-drake fired and blacklisted him after a construction site accident he caused. He fell into poverty and in desperation turned to crime. All this left him very embittered about his life and Angel Vale and pushed him to eventually join up with the Circle of Fiends.
* IllKillYou: On the exclaiming and receiving end between him and Mirthful Stone during a climatic battle in the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis, the latter pissed off by how low Lauffeuer had fallen to outright try and kill him, the former becoming incensed by Mirthful's HitAndRunTactics and [[IShallTauntYou relentless insults]] against him.
* LaserGuidedKarma: He despised the idea of taking care of a non-speaking, autistic whelp despite said whelp being ''his own daughter'', and tried convincing his wife, Limette, to put Fremder up for adoption. This only serves to anger Limette, and she divorces him to protect Fremder.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: He still misses Limette despite what happened between them. He had the decency to be shocked and ashamed when he [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5078472950 found out]] that Limette had died and he didn't even know about it, though he [[NeverMyFault refuse to accept any responsibility]] for his role in making it happen.
* EveryoneHasStandards: On the receiving end from many people over his treatment of his daughter Fremder. Even his top boss Drachenmeister [[EvenEvilHasStandards was disgusted with him]] (and his duplicity by omission) when he [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5077453828 found out]].
* TheSocialDarwinist: He's noted to have this attitude despite it being rare in Angel Vale thanks to thousands of years' worth of cultural drift. He saw Fremder's autism as a sign that she was an "unfit" and "defective" whelp, and tried to have her put up for adoption so he wouldn't have to raise her. This bites him in the tail when Limette divorces him to protect their daughter.
* SuperToughness: One of his superpowers after becoming an EliteMook supervillain is implied to be this, as he took multiple rocket rounds from Mirthful Stone in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5070673818 climatic battle]] during the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis which could had taken out most dragons and vehicles in one shot.
* SuperVillain: It's implied with the recent Drabbles concerning the 'Fiendish Uprising' crisis that Lauffeuer actually became a supervillain, working under the Circle of Fiends (the most dangerous group of draconic supervillains in Angel Vale) as a [[EliteMook high-ranking subordinate]] of sorts.
* YoureInsane: He's very shocked and put off by how just almost ''maniacally'' determined Mirthful Stone, an ordinary Qilin researcher, is at trying to kill him for what Lauffeuer did to his mentally-disabled daughter (among other things) and become, exclaiming as much as Mirthful Stone tried decapitate him with a ''Chainsword''.
--> '''Mirthful Stone:''' [[MadnessMantra KILL YOU KILL YOU KILL YOU]] ''RIP YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF - !''\
'''Lauffeuer:''' You're out of your mind!\

!!Other Angel's Throne Residents
[[folder:Tātari]]
An old friend of Rongoa's who serves as a tour guide for the Researcher Trio and the Pillars during their visit in Angel's Throne.
----
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: He's the one who told Rongoa to break things off with Arbeit and get back together after her project was finished to protect them both from a potential scandal. Unfortunately, Arbeit died as a result, sending Rongoa down his downward spiral and Tātari ended up leaving to Angel's Throne when Rongoa isolated himself. They've gotten back together, but he both blames and hates himself for it.
* YouDontWantToCatchThis: During his emotional upset over what happened with Rongoa, he heads to the Angel's Bounty's male public bathrooms and pretends to have a really contagious disease as an excuse to get everyone out, then seals the bathroom door from the inside with his [[DishingOutDirt earth magic]] so he could be alone. This not only causes a holdup with everyone wanting to relieve themselves, but also gets a Dilophosaurus staff member mad at him for the public disturbance.

[[folder:Anya]]
A female Stegosaur Dracosaur and owner of the diner Ma's Grill.
----
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She used to be married at one point, until she discovered that she's infertile. While she can still lay eggs, her infertility left all her eggs inert. Both she and her husband were devastated by this, with the latter abandoning her for it. While she pulled through and started her own restaurant, Ma's Grill, she wasn't drumming up enough business, and she was constantly harrassed by the slimy Lacom, who wanted to buy the property she owned for himself. It wasn't until a disguised Blue Suede Heartstrings visited her following the merger between Angel Vale and Ashfall that things finally turned up for her.

[[folder:Lacom]]
A Green Dragon and a slimy business-drake who frequently harasses Anya, he made another attempt to buy out Anya's restaurant during the Researcher Trio's first day in Angel's Throne.
----
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: He's a rotten business-drake to his core, persistently attempting to buy out Ma's Grill, mostly out of greed with a hint of spite.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He tries to put up a 'reasonable' and friendly facade when confronting Anya, but even the narration noted the emphasis on 'try' with no one buying it for a second and all of it dropping to reveal greed, anger and hate when his plans go awry.
* ImpliedDeathThreat: Downplayed, but he threatens physical violence via his goons if his schemes fail to get what he wants without them, and it's implied it's not the first time he tried it either.
* LaserGuidedKarma: After trying to buy/kick out Anya and her business from her land through questionable and outright illegal means [[NoodleIncident multiple times]], Lacom is caught red-clawed in a way which he cannot possible weasel his way out of as before, which would not only land him in jail but as he realised would likely wind up his already struggling business in a week.
* MeaningfulName: Lacom means 'Greed' in Hungarian, befitting his nature as a CorruptCorporateExecutive.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: Lacom is a Chromatic Green Dragon, whose species are depicted in ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' as AlwaysLawfulEvil creatures with a preference for deception and devious intrigue, befitting a slimeball like him.
* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler:Lacom was helped along by a group of GreaterScopeVillain(s) who wanted to use his latest attempt to get at Ma to collect data on an intervening Web Warrior, one of Ma's patron customers]].
* VillainousBreakdown: His FauxAffablyEvil facade quickly crumbled when Sherlock not only pointed out flaws in the 'deed' he managed to acquire which makes it even MORE invalid than Anya's own, but then saw said 'deed' burnt to ashes by one greaser pegasus patron with a flicked cigarette, and then finally called out by a mysterious stallion [[spoiler:implied to be a remorseful Vermilion Bird]] who disparages him for being no different from the evil megacorporation or the brutish members of dragonkind with his greed and cruelty which the Angel sacrificed everything to free them from. This sends him into a rage and siccing his mooks on the restaurant without caring for the consequences.

* AmoralAttorney: Supported his client Lacom's attempt to steal Ma/Anya's business without hesitation. He's also incompetent to boot.
* DirtyCoward: Like his client Lacom, he hid behind cover while Lacom's mooks did all the dirty work, tried to kill Mirthful with a hidden weapon while distracting him with legal jargon, and then tried to sneak out of sight when the police and Big Lizz arrived to deal with them.
* HarmlessVillain: While an AmoralAttorney, he's also a "bad" lawyer in the sense that he is incompetent, notably forgetting to make back-up copies of Lacom's "deed" to Ma's Grill in their rush to forcibly evict its owner, Anya, from her rightful property. This backfires when Steel Grit torches the deed with his cigarette.
* MeaningfulName: Schmutz means 'Dirt' or a similar unpleasant substance.

A Deino-Dracosaur who works as both a psychic carny and a con-drake at the amusement park in Angel's Coast. He is the older brother of Tasche.
----
* BigBrotherInstinct: When the Abyssal Great Horror attacked Angel's Coast, his first instinct and biggest priority was to try to find his little brother Tasche. Later on, when a surviving Lesser Horror attacked Angel's Bounty, he shielded Tasche with his own body and used his previously dormant PsychicPowers to restrain the Lesser Horror, which allowed Sir Shining Scales to slice it to bits.
* NotSoPhonyPsychic: As it turned out however, he possessed actual psychic potential, which was awakened in the Abyssal Attack due to the psychic influence of the Abyssal Great Horror and its Lesser Horrors. Even though he only just got it, he already showed incredible talent in it such as foreseeing a remaining Lesser Horror's attack at Angel's Bounty and instinctively using telekinesis to restrain it when it try to pounce on him and Tasche. A mysterious elderly stallion [[spoiler:who is King Virtus in disguise]] encourage him to use it as a real psychic and also for good.
* PhonyPsychic: He was originally this under the alias of the 'All-Seeing Martini', using sleight-of-claws and a cloak full of loaded dices in order to pretend to be psychic. Portrayed more sympathetically as he was driven to this in desperation to earn enough money to take care of his little brother Tasche, and does have some self-loathing over swindling people out of their money.

* AffectionatePickpocket: Pretends to be a sweet and unassuming kid, but is actually a pickpocket.
* BratsWithSlingshots: Has a slingshot and not afraid to use it. While initially not very useful beyond being a distraction, it's later enchanted by Vertrauen into a magical one which could cause targets hit by his pebbles to become incapacitated by various random effects e.g. blown into confetti, marbles and gumballs, become frozen in icing, bound by tape, among other things, significantly boosting his weapon's utility.
* ChekhovsGunman: First introduced helping Mirthful Stone in the ''Codex Quest(s)''[='s=] "Angel's Throne" arc during a fight against Shadow Seherin, Tasche later takes a bigger role during the Abyssal Attack when he fell in with Mirthful's group.
* StreetUrchin: Both he and his older brother Schmäh had lived on the streets ever since their parents died. While Schmäh made ends meet by being a PhonyPsychic, Tasche helped them both get by via pickpocketing.

Cherub Cove's current Minister of Science, Meléti is a nervious, clumsy, but benevolent and competent Avalarian Electric Dragoness.
----
* ActionPolitician: While not combat trained by any means, she ''is'' capable of defending herself and personally helps against the Neo-NRF.
* ItsPersonal: More from Ornatum end than hers, but they resent each other due to her replacing him, while she desposes him for being a {{Jerkass}} to Aerri.
* LimitBreak: As an Avalarian Electric Dragon, she knows their draconic magic techniques, including the Electric Fury. This manifests in the form of a huge arcing explosion of lightning. However, she's not very good at it, so it takes time to charge and using it takes everything she has. She uses it to land the finishing blow on Ornatum and his minions.
* MotorMouth: Speaks like a rapid-fire machine-gun due to her anxious character (and maybe Electric Dragon heritage), making it hard for others to follow her speaking sometimes (unless they are used to it like Mirthful, whose snobblish brother speaks similarly)
* NervousWreck: Is noted to be rather nervous/anxious in character.
* NiceGirl: Nervousness aside, she's a very much nicer, more reasonable and fairer than her predecessor Ornatum. She's very sympathetic to Aerri for instance and did everything possible to be supportive of her and her projects.
* RedeemingReplacement: She replaced Ornatum as Cherub Cove's Minister of Science, and is much nicer, reasonable, and fair.

* NervesOfSteel: She's noted as being unflappable in the face of intimidation and danger. This is shown when she shrugs off Vize's attempts to intimidate or bribe her, even after she sent thugs to threaten her.

!!!Former Members

[[folder:Ornatum '''(Unmarked Spoilers)''']]
The former Minister of Science in Cherub Cove, Ornatum was Aerri's former superior who bore a grudge against her, doing everything in his power to undermine and humiliate the 'upstart' out of petty envy of her greater brilliance than him. When his abuse of power and general corruption was exposed, he was forced to resign and was replaced by the more kindhearted and supportive Meléti, a fact which he still greatly resented.
----
* ArchEnemy: Ornatum serves as one for Aerri, as prior to the time loop, he abused his position as Aerri's boss to ruin her life and career, even getting her killed indirectly via her cancer. During the ''Codex Quest(s)'', it's revealed his entire reason for antagonizing Aerri is because he always felt jeallous of AErri's superior intellect and scientific talents, and wants her out of the way so he'll remain the smartest Dragon in Angel Vale. After he was forced to resign by Angel Vale's High Council for his crimes and replaced by the more benevolent Meléti, Ornatum goes on a quest for {{Revenge}} against the two Dracosaurs who "wronged" him, ultimately turning traitor and siding with Herrlich's Neo-NRF faction to achieve his own goals.
* AscendedExtra: His counterpart in the supplementary comic ''[[VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings Angels With Broken Hearts]]'' only appears briefly at the start of Anna's storyline (though sets the entire plot of that portion in motion). Here, he's expanded into a full character and was basically Cherub Cove's BigBad.
* BigBad: Due to leading a cabal of corrupt Ministers in Cherub Cove, he was ultimately responsible for a large amount of the town's problems and dirty dealings. This is more direct with Aerri and Limette, who he directly antagonized, and actually killed in the latter case. Discovering his alliance with the Neo-NRF terrorists and involvement in the museum attacks is what motivates Aerri and her group (consisting of herself, Jade Shell, Schurke, Meadowbrook, Verehrt, and Mistmane) to go and stop him.
* BigBadDuumvirate: Ornatum shares the role of main antagonist of the "Cherub Cove Technologies" arc with Herrlich, assisting the latter in pulling off the Neo-NRF's attack on the Cherub Cove Technologies museum. While Herrlich is the one calling the shots, Ornatum is on equal standing with him and his own reasons for joining the Neo-NRF amounts to killing Aerri and Meléti in revenge for upstaging and replacing him as Minister of Science, respectively.
* BrokenAngel: While mid-air, Ornatum loses one of his wings thanks to Jade Shell using her (untested) hydrokinetic control over non-water liquids to splash said wing with Aerri's [[StuffBlowingUp combustion spit]], combusting it into shreds and sending him falling to the ground.
* DeadpanSnarker: He has his moments, usually when things don't go the way the Neo-NRF wanted them to go.
--> ''(Herrlich [[VillainousBreakdown rages over Tere ruining his grand speech and publicly turning Angel Vale against the Neo-NRF]])''\
'''Ornatum:''' ... Well, [[DamnedByFaintPraise at least you had their attention for a while]].
* EnemyMine: He doesn't particularly care for the Neo-NRF's cause; he just helped them in exchange for a chance to get back at Meléti and Aerri for replacing and upstaging him, respectively.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: As little love or respect he has for Herrlich and his Neo-NRF terrorists despite working with them, even he was aghast when he saw some of them and their security automatons being [[CurbstompBattle utterly massacred]] by [[SuperSoldier Ebon Drakes Chapterknights]] allied with Tere's group, although this is less sympathy for their suffering and more from the [[MookHorrorShow sheer carnage and terror]] of the situation.
* EvilGenius: He's a very intelligent Dragon, enough to warrant him being the Minister of Science, but his resentment of Aerri for being smarter and his attempts to have her killed for it put him squarely under this. After siding with Herrlich, he served as MissionControl for the Neo-NRF terrorists, as his command over the security control room meant he is able to observe all the floors of the museum and keep stock of both the Neo-NRF and their enemies' activities.
* EvilIsPetty:
** He had Limette's husband murdered and arranged her death because he and his cohorts didn't like her teaching her students the values of tolerance and openmindedness, which underminded his ability to keep others from rivaling his intelligence.
** The entire reason why he tried to ruin Aerri's life, to the point of helping reactionary terrorists, was that he envied and resented her for being a smarter and more talented prodigy than him, and couldn't stand her upstaging him. He also hates Meléti simply for replacing him after he was forced to resign from his position, seeing her as an usurper who doesn't deserve his rightful position. This becomes more apparent as Aerri's group realizes the implications of his alliance with the Neo-NRF terrorists -- he wants to reduce Angel Vale's Draconic population to a Stone Age-like existence so he could lord over them as the only smartest Dragon in the nation.
** This eventually bites him hard during Aerri's group's confrontation with him during the museum attack. While Ornatum had the opportunity to spring the trap on Aerri's gorup as soon as they entered his kill box, he needed to see Aerri realize he outsmarted her first ''before'' springing his trap. Aerri realizes this and instead taunts Ornatum about his pathological need for validation, distracting him long enough for her allies' counter-plan to be put in motion.
* FatalFlaw: Ornatum's biggest flaws all stem from his pride. His fragile ego means he took Aerri being smarter than him as a personal slight and sought to ruin her life utterly. His entire reason for helping the Neo-NRF was to take revenge on Aerri and Meléti after his position was lost due to his own actions, which he blames them for. This is ultimately his undoing, as his need to prove he's better than Aerri is a major reason his plans ultimately fail.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He held a composed, stoic and dignified demeanour, but it's a mask to hide his true petty, envious and arrogant character, and his mask slips whenever he gets angry.
* {{Foil}}: To Aerri. Both are intelligent dragons with massive egos and willingness to take big risks to reach a goal that is of vital importance to them, and both don't have much compassion for others. However, where Aerri's ego comes from legit confidence in her own abilities, Ornatum's comes from his extremely fragile ego. Where Aerri was taking risks to save her life and never endangered anyone else in that pursuit, Ornatum is solely trying to maintain his own position and status at the cost of others. Where Aerri's lack of compassion came from being horribly mistreated and she is quite capable of it when she realizes someone truly cares about her, Ornatum genuinely has a LackOfEmpathy. Aerri also creates all of her own work and gives credit to the work of others she used, while Ornatum is a serial plagiarist who dresses other's work up as his own.
* FourEyesZeroSoul: Wears glasses, is pretty intelligent, but most importantly an unrepentantly petty and envious jackass.
* GreenEyedMonster: He held massive, petty enmity for Aerri over her being a prodigy smarter than he is and could upstage him. This is his undoing, as he can't resist holding back triggering his trap on Aerri's group without seeing Aerri realize, directly or indirectly, he'd outsmarted her and proved her better. He can't tolerate her proceeding to actively deny him that, distracting him long enough for their counter plan to go off.
* InsufferableGenius: Downplayed as while very intelligent, he's not the smartest dragon around; that position belongs to Aerri, a natural prodigy. Nevertheless, he thinks he's smarter than most and possesses an insufferable ego over it which makes him envious of anyone who surpasses and shows him up on it, like Aerri. This gradually backfires on him as in his arrogance and obsession with upstaging Aerri, he forgets to watch for anything else that might potentially become a threat like the Researcher Trio, the Pillars, and other members of the Angel's Six who got trapped with them in the museum.
* ItIsDehumanizing: He frequently refers to Jade Shell, a young Great Tortoise and the only member of Aerri's group available to help take him down, as Aerri's "attack pet". This not only shows how insufferable he is, but also how he couldn't comprehend the very idea of Aerri, a super-genius, working together with others to achieve a goal. It later bites him in the flank when Jade Shell, with Aerri's help, becomes instrumental in his defeat, notably by [[BrokenAngel crippling him in the wings]] and smashing the gauntlet that controls his powered armor's many functions.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Ornatum's entire reason for antagonizing Aerri, even trying to have her declared guilty on false charges and thrown in prison where she would definitely die of her cancer, is because he always resented her for being smarter than him. He would extend his grudge to Meléti, whom he saw as an usurper to his old position as Cherub Cove's Minister of Science. During the Neo-NRF's attack on the Cherub Cove Technologies museum, Aerri and her allies realize Ornatum joined the Neo-NRF because their plans for a more primitive Draconic society would let him remain the smartest Dragon in Angel Vale.
* ItsPersonal: While he always despised Aerri for being an even smarter genius than him, Ornatum's resentment and envy evolved into outright hatred after his corruption was exposed and he was forced to resign as Minister of Science, believing Aerri ruined his life. His feelings extend to Meléti, who he sees as an usurper to his old position despite her earning it through her own merits.
* {{Jerkass}}: The sheer pettiness he showed to Aerri out of envy must be seen to be believed. This persists even after he was forced to resign, adding Meléti to his emnity list.
* KickTheDog: After learning that Aerri had cancer, he doubled his obstructive efforts to prevent her from finding a cure so she could die from it -- even getting her arrested on false charges so she could die wasting away in prison, which Aerri considers to be a CruelAndUnusualDeath for her as she also had a MortalityPhobia at the time.
* LaserGuidedKarma:
** After Aerri helped save Angel Vale from Razorbill and the supervolcano and national attention was drawn to Cherub Cove due to the Zebrican Gate, Ornatum's misdeeds against Aerri and countless others were exposed and he was forced to resign.
** His decision to turn traitor and help the Neo-NRF terrorists stage a reactionary revolution in Angel Vale backfires massively, as despite his intelligence and cunning, his arrogance makes him miss many factors that ultimately became his and his backers' undoing, like [[WesternAnimation/Ben10 Gerald and his grandkids Gen and Glenn]], the Research Trio, the Pillars, and any members of the Angel's Six who got trapped in the museum during the Neo-NRF terrorists' hostile takeover. He also fails to account for the possibility that Aerri might be smart enough to team up with all the aforementioned individuals to take him down, which also becomes his undoing. Even his last plan to spite his enemies -- sabotaging the controls to lift the lockdown and thus deny them the satisfaction of defeating him -- is foiled, leaving him to rage impotently as he is arrested, tied up, and dragged away by Schurke.
** And during his fight with Aerri and Jade Shell, he frequently refers the latter as Aerri's "attack pet", not caring that she's a sapient creature. This bites him in the flank when Jade Shell, with Aerri's help, manages to cripple him and ruins his power armor by smashing the gauntlet used to operate its many functions. Jade Shell even makes it clear that she's ''not'' a pet before doing this.
** His arrest results in his home being raided for evidence (after Sulfura already robbed him blind), exposing his murder of Limette and her husband.
* MechaMooks: Ornatum was responsible for providing the Neo-NRF with these during their mueseum operation by subverting the place's cutting-edge security system and reprogramming its army of security automatons. During his confrontation with Aerri's group, he went to battle backed by several high-end military automatons that he plagiarized off of Aerri's designs, forcing the others to fight them off and leaving only Aerri and Jade Shell facing him personally for much of the fight.
* TheMole: He was the mole Herrlich and his Neo-NRF terrorist group in their Cherub Cove Technology Mueseum and Tech-Fair operation, using his former status as the previous Minister of Science to access the central security system and help lock it down, then acted as MissionControl for them.
* MotiveRant: After being outsmarted and upstaged by Aerri's group one time too many, he finally snaps when Aerri and Jade Shell distract him by combining their powers to create a huge steam cloud. He goes on a huge rant about his desire to upstage Aerri as the smartest Dragon on Angel Vale -- even extracting her brain and using it as his own -- while shooting through the cloud wildly and [[BadBoss hitting his own hench-drakes]]. It's what causes Aerri to deem him too pathetic to kill.
--> '''Ornatum:''' You piece of drake-droppings! You think you can upstage me with that brain of yours, Aerri?! When I find you, I'm gonna destroy everything you love! I'm going to wipe your name from the annals of history and replace it with mine! Even turn you into my own lab rat, extract your brain, and use it as my own! No-Drake will replace me as the smartest Dragon in Angel Vale! You HEAR ME?! '''''NO-DRAKE!'''''
* MurderByInaction: While the murder of Limette's husband was Ornatum's doing as he hired a hitdrake to kill him, Ornatum was indirectly responsible for Limette's death as one of his corrupt cohorts, Heilung, the Minister of Medicine at the time, blocked her from any medicine or treatments that would have helped cure her illness, and let nature run its course.
* {{Narcissist}}: Ornatum has all the symptoms of narcissism: his driving motivation is the need to be the smartest dragon in Angel Vale and absolute refusal to accept that he's not. He's so self-absorbed that he'd rather help terrorists take over Angel Vale just to satisfy his ego. He can't stand others not seeing him as the smartest to the point Aerri being smarter than him is viewed as a personal slight. He can't accept that he was booted from his position because of his own transgressions, instead blaming Aerri and his successor for it. He's so fixated on keeping his position that a large part of his plan is to set up a version of Angel Vale where he's the smartest by default. He also tends to fly into a rage when his ego is bruised in any way. Aerri exploits this by deducing he couldn't kill her without trying to make her accept he'd outsmarted her and proved her better first.
* NeverMyFault: Fitting with his status as a clinical {{Narcissist}} and sociopath, Ornatum can't accept that his disgraceful loss of his position as Cherub Cove's Minister of Science was his own fault, or take responsibility for any of his own screw-ups.
* NotSoStoic: While maintaining a dignified demeanour, it's a mask which could slip when he's stressed, terrified or angry enough to reveal the true rotten character hiding beneath it. It completely falls apart as his plans failed and he's increasingly frustrated by Aerri's group refusal to be defeated.
* ObstructiveBureaucrat: He used every dirty trick he could think of both in and out of the book to undermine and obstruct Aerri and made her life and career miserable, from blocking grants on points of procedure to even having her lab raided by the police and Aerri thrown to prison. And yes, he knew she was dying from cancer - and deliberately did everything possible to prevent her from finding a cure so she can die from it.
* OhCrap: He freaks out and rants to Herrlich when he overheard Tere's group managing to contact the outside world, realising not only the authorities of Angel Vale know what they're up to, but also WHO had been responsible for the whole situation -- including his own presence and role in it -- as it means he's now [[TheMostWanted a wanted criminal]] who can never get back his post or salvage his tanked reputation.
* ThePlan: His entire plan to take out Aerri's group when they finally arrived to confront him at the mueseum central control room was to lay a three-layered trap in the atrium just outside of it, where he would use special devices to neutralise their elemental powers, weapons and other magics, then order his drakes to [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill open fire on them with everything they have]], then he would personally move in to mop them up. Even if any one part failed he would still face them after putting himself in a position of overwhelming advantage. Unfortunately for him, his own arrogance and pettiness, Aerri's group's adaptability and resilience, as well as multiple factors beyond his control all ultimately worked against and ruined it.
* PoweredArmor: His trump-card is a suit of heavily-armed powered armor which he wears and uses during his fight with Aerri's group. As Aerri points out, it was just a suit of prototype military armor he plagiarized and tried to call his own.
* ProperlyParanoid: One scene in ''Codex Quest(s)'' where he's helping the Neo-NRF revealed that he is aware of Aerri's chances of reaching him, and had made preparations for a fight in the central security control room he and his lackeys are in just in case with one of his own projects.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Wears specs and is pretty intelligent, if insufferable in character.
* SmugSnake: Ornatum has a gigantic ego and believes he's smarter than Aerri or anyone else. As Aerri points out, not only is he not as smart as he ''thinks'' he is, most of his gadgets and innovations are ones he stole or claimed credit for rather than his own.
* StealingTheCredit: As Aerri points out, Ornatum has a habit of taking credit for others' ideas or rebranding their creations as his own.
* TheSociopath: Ornatum has all of the hallmarks of a sociopath: complete LackOfEmpathy for anyone other than himself, ability to manipulate others to the point of being electic to public office, willing to take a massively risky gambit in an attempt to secure his position and take revenge for his ego being bruised, and a grandiose sense of self-worth in general.
* SurroundedByIdiots: Feels this way regarding others due to his own intelligence and looks down on others for not measuring up to his own intellect and achievements. He's very condescending to Herrlich and his troops even when he is working with him to execute Herrlich's operation at the Cherub Cove Technology Mueseum and Tech-Fair.
* TooCleverByHalf: Even where he is legitimately clever, he is often undone by his own arrogance and pettiness. His actually well thought-out plan to take out Aerri's group for example was foiled by Jade Shell's clairvoyance, Aerri's quick thinking and Gen's hacking sabotage.
* VillainousBreakdown:
** Over the course of the FinalBattle between Aerri's group with him his composure slipped increasingly as he was met by setback after setback. And after he was defeated and he saw his last ditch attempt to deny them any meaningful victory rendered void by Aerri's quick thinking, he is reduced to an undignified tantrum in his bonds, screaming and ranting about how unfair it is and how Aerri and Meléti didn't deserve to have the greatness that should have been his.
** He has another one [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5076856442 after Aerri visits him in jail]] to inform him of Limette's Ascension to demi-godhood and subsequent resurrection, outright stating that it was to deny him any measure of joy or victory he felt for killing her and [[FlippingTheBird giving him the double middle finger for good measure]]. He would have a massive meltdown in response, to the point of needing to be sedated.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Heilung]]
Heilung is a Gold Dragon and the former Minister of Medicine for Cherub Cove, being part of Ornatum's corrupt cabal.
----
* ArcVillain: He serves as an antagonist for the CCPD's arc in the Angel Vale Retcons, having been put back into power and given a nudge to try and kill Tere by Honeyguide.
* CorruptPolitician: Heilung is a corrupt politician who abused his position as Minister of Medicine to arrange deaths and deny medicine to those he personally deems as unworthy of help or life.
* DraggedOffToHell: After Schurke kills him during the "Angel Vale Retcons" event, he finds himself faced with Fret Pick, Askar, and all his other victims before being dragged off to the Hellrealms for eternal punishment.
* EnemiesWithDeath: Justified. During Heilung's tenure as Minister of Medicine, he denied many Dragons and Dracosaurs proper healthcare under the excuse of "weeding out" the unworthy, causing them to die horrible deaths. Naturally, his victims started holding grudges against him -- including Askar, who died because of Heilung's manipulations and initially wanted to come BackFromTheDead just to kill him, but changed his mind and decided to become an Angel of Death instead. Once Heilung is killed by Schurke during the "Angel Vale Retcons", both Askar and many local and foreign Reapers immediately took the chance to drag Heilung off to Angel Vale's Hell-Realms for his crimes.
* {{Hypocrite}}: He claims to be letting nature run its course by denying medication to "the weak", yet abuses strength-enhancing steroids to increase his strength well beyond what's natural. When confronted postmortem by Reapers like Fret Pick and Askar, and the huge number of victims who died from his malpractice, it turns out his darwinistic beliefs are a load of bull -- he is actually a sniveling coward who wanted an excuse to justify his {{Greed}}.
* {{Irony}}: Heilung was Cherub Cove's Minister of Medicine... but a steroid abuser himself.
* KarmicDeath: He's ultimately killed by Schurke, the older identical twin brother of one of his victims. For added karma, he was killed by having his throat ripped out -- the same way his actions nearly caused Askar to kill Tere after Askar regressed into a feral SerialKiller.
* PsychoSerum: He abuses steroids, including certain types that functions as a power boosting drug that numbs pain. He's shown to become more violent when on them.
* SlashedThroat: Schurke kills him by tearing his throat out.
%%* SocialDarwinist:%%
* YouExclamation: While fleeing from Fret Pick, he utters "You-!" when he meets a furious Steel Dragon who looks almost exactly like Schurke. It's actually Askar, Schurke's younger identical twin brother, who punches him in the face in retaliation for setting him up to die "like a rabid dog" in life. It turns out Askar became a Reaper specifically to hunt down the one responsible for his degradation and death, and drag him off to his well-deserved punishment.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rajin]]
A Tricera-Dracosaur and the former Minster of Infrastructure.
----
* AdaptationalKarma: in ''[VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'', Emera [[KarmaHoudini didn't get any real retribution for her abusive behavior towards Remy]]. Rajin, however, ends up being forced to treat him better or else her actions would be exposed to the world and Rongoa actually has enough of a reputation to prove it, something she decidedly doesn't want. While she isn't given direct retribution, it's ''solely'' because Rongoa chose to show her mercy, and she lives the rest of her time as his boss in fear of him actually taking revenge (which he has zero interest in due to his pacifist beiefs). After she leaves office, her actions ''are'' exposed, but Rongoa specifically goes out of his way to make sure both her positive and negative actions are revealed in equal measure.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings Emera]], Remy's abusive boss.
[[/folder]]

!!Cherub Cove Hatcheries/Daycare
[[folder:General]]
* AdaptationalBadass: The caretakers of the hatcheries/daycare are full-grown Dragons and Dracosaurs, and are prepared to handle anyone who threatens the hatchlings and children. And as several Ashfall Pony raiders learn the hard way, even the young whelps get in on the action, using their sheer numbers and racial ElementalPowers to overwhelm their would-be kidnappers and subject them to a most humiliating fate (i.e. being used as toys, forced to play dress-up, shrunk and kept as pets in jars, and other things). One Ashfall raider who managed to escape described the attacking whelps as "demons from hell".
* FantasticRacism: The attacks on the hatcheries/daycare were primarily motivated by anti-Dragon/Dracosaur racism. During the "Angel Vale Time Loops", Razorbill stole a bunch of eggs for the purpose of raising them as slaves, only to later use the eggs as bait to lure Tere into a trap -- killing both Tere and the eggs in the ensuing explosion. Some years later, a squadron of Ashfall Pony raiders tried repeating the same feat, except they intend to profit by selling the eggs, hatchlings, and whelps on the black market. Both parties see the local Dragons and Dracosaurs as nothing but "trouble" and therefore are worth the same as mindless beasts in their eyes.
* OrphanageOfLove: The Cherub Cove Hatcheries and Daycare also serve as an orphanage for infant hatchlings and whelps whose parents either died or abandoned them. The Dragons and Dracosaurs who work there are very kind and loving, and make sure to give their young charges all the love and protection they can provide.
[[/folder]]

!!!Angel's Whelps
[[folder:General]]
* KidHero: While they're young children (or "whelps" in Draconic terms), they've all participated in their own heroics, whether it be stopping a trio of mischievous whelps from stealing the Researcher Trio's wands/staves, or helping the adults rescue multiple eggs, hatchlings, and other whelps from being kidnapped by Ashfall Pony thugs as part of a nefarious plot.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: Like the Angel's Six, the Angel's Whelps are a motley crew of young whelps of different Draconic species. The members consist of a Parasaurolophus Dracosaur (Klang), a Triceratops Dracosaur (Virág), a Bronze Dragon (Villám), a Smog Dragon (Lavender), a Wind Dragon (Luft), a Avalarian Fire Dragon (Fremder), a Dracosaur hybrid (Arbey), and a Sapphire Dragon (Blau).
* TrueCompanions: Much like the Angel's Six, the Angel's Whelps are very close friends and work well together, especially under Blau's leadership. They're also understanding of Fremder's disabilities and treat her like one of their own regardless.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Arbey]]
----
* AnIcePerson: She got ice powers from her father.
* ArtificialHybrid: Due to Aerri splicing her DNA into her while saving her, she's an artificial Avalaran Ice Dragon/Deinonychus Dracosaur hybrid. It's noted this is normally completely impossible, as dragon races work like pony tribes do and the child is normally one of the races in their genome, not a hybrid, but Aerri's splicing made her a true hybrid.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings Amely]], Remy's long-lost biological daughter.
* IdealIllnessImmunity: The genetic modifications that Aerri gave her makes her completely immune to poison and disease.
* PlayingWithFire: She got Aerri's combustion breath as a consequence of the gene splicing.
* UltimateLifeform: A [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/4991720266 drabble]] reveals Aerri's gene splicing worked and she's biologically immortal.
* YinYangBomb: She has both ice and fire powers due to Aerri's genetic tampering.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fremder]]
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Vara is a young Dragon child whose only role in ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'' is to highlight the tragedy of her family situation (and there the monstrosity of [[SerialKiller Reza]]'s actions in killing her). Here, because Shining Dove saved her from what would've been her fate, she takes on a more active role and is capable of fighting even grown Ashfall Pony raiders when they invade the hatcheries/daycare with intent to kidnap her age-mates. It's ultimately downplayed as she's still a young child by Dragon/Dracosaur standards and whenever she does fight, it's usually when her [[TrueCompanions friends]] and/or other friendly adults are there to support her.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: While it's not known what Draconic species Vara is in canon, here, she's specifically an Avalarian Fire Dragon.
* CuteMute: Fremder is a cute little dragoness, about seven years old, and is confirmed to have nonverbal Autism, and thus is genuinely mute. She normally communicates via writing.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her birth father, Lauffeuer, didn't like her being autistic and tried to put her up for adoption for being "defective". She gains a much more loving stepfather in Schlüssel when her mother divorced Lauffeuer and remarried, but shortly after, both her parents are killed by Ornatum and his cabal of corrupt Cherub Cove Ministers -- Schlüssel by a hired hitdrake, and her mother, Limette, via MurderByInaction thanks to the Minister of Medicine's machinations. For some time, she tried helping Limette not knowing her mother had already died by then, and she was left in the care of the Cherub Cove Hatcheries/Daycare after Shining Dove finds her. Then she herself is murdered by Razorbill during a few time loops. Fortunately, Shining Dove's actions ultimately end up saving her life, and things turn up for her from there.
* EmotionlessGirl: Justified; she rarely emotes, which is due to being born with a form of low-functioning autism where she never developed the ability to speak and has difficulty emoting. It's {{subverted}}, however, in that she does have the full range of emotions and can express them, but has difficulty in doing so.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings Vara]], Remy's adoptive daughter.
* HandicappedBadass: She has non-speaking, low-functioning autism and thus is mute. She's surprisingly capable of taking on mischievous whelps and and full-grown Pony raiders from Ashfall, and has the ability to breathe [[PlayingWithFire fire]], though she generally doesn't fight without the help of her friends.
* HappilyAdopted: After her mother's death, she's adopted by Rongoa.
* InterspeciesFriendship: She's an Avalarian Fire Dragon whelp who ends up befriending Jade Shell, a Great Tortoise and fellow autistic.
* KarmicJackpot: Invoked with Jade Shell. Jade Shell befriended her by figuring out how to communicate with her despite her mutism, and later sings for her when she suffers from SensoryOverload in the egg hatcheries. Later, she comes to Jade Shell's rescue when the latter comes close to a meltdown herself from being swarmed by curious whelps, telling her fellow age-mates (non-verbally) that Jade Shell is autistic and they should respect her personal space.
* PlayingWithFire: She's a young Avalarian Fire Dragon, and thus can breathe fire.
* SensoryOverload: As part of her autism, Fremder can be overwhelmed by too much or too intense sensory information, such as the alarm in the egg hatcheries.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: In ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'', Vara is murdered by Reza in one ending. Here, she is able to survive thanks to Shining Dove's actions in saving Angel Vale and stopping Razorbill.

[[folder:Blau]]
Blau is a young Sapphire Dragon who is the biggest and oldest of the Angel's Whelps.
----
* BlueIsHeroic: He is a Sapphire Dragon, which are blue-scaled, and he's a heroic member of the Angel's Whelps.
* BreathWeapon: His breath weapon is revealed to be a rather intense [[SuperScream psychic scream]] that [[SupernaturalFearInducer inflicts fear and panic on those who were hit by it]]. It's implied that his breath weapon doesn't discriminate, either, as evidenced by his ElectiveMute status and him telling everyone to cover their ears before using it.
* CoolBigBro: As the biggest and oldest of the Angel's Whelps, he has this vibe. He was introduced helping Fremder tell the other whelps to stop agitating Jade Shell (who was suffering from SensoryOverload due to her mild autism), with him writing on a whiteboard, "One at a time please!" so Jade Shell wouldn't have a meltdown from trying to deal with so many whelps at once. He's also [[TheLeader the first to take action in serious situations]], using {{Telepathy}} to issue orders and direct his friends on what to do.
* DelinquentHair: Sort of; his head and back spines mimic a greaser's pompadour. It's subverted as he isn't a delinquent at all.
* ElectiveMute: Unlike Fremder, who was born mute, her friend Blau is capable of talking verbally but chooses to stay mute, instead communicating with {{Telepathy}}. Later, he turns out to have a good reason for it -- his breath weapon is essentially an intense [[SuperScream psychic scream]] that [[SupernaturalFearInducer inflicts fear and panic on those who were hit by it]]. When he verbally apologizes to Fremder for not protecting her from [[WouldHurtAChild Spring Trigger]]'s arrows, his voice is naturally raspy from years of disuse.
* {{Forgiveness}}: When he apologizes to Fremder for not protecting her from [[WouldHurtAChild Spring Trigger]]'s arrows, Fremder forgives him and lets him know she doesn't blame him due to the circumstances involved.
* GreaserDelinquents: Subverted; while he wears a leather jacket and his head/back spines mimic a pompadour, he isn't a delinquent. His appearance was inspired by [[Music/ElvisPresley Blue Suede Heartstrings]], whom he idolizes.
* HellBentForLeather: He wears a leather jacket.
* TheLeader: Implied; when a trio of mischievous whelps led by Schaden stole the Researcher Trio's weapons, he was the first to take charge, directing his friends in dealing with Schaden and Erde after the third whelp got caught stealing Sherlock's MagicStaff early on.
* MeaningfulName: His name means "blue" in German, and he's a blue-scaled Sapphire Dragon. He also idolizes ''Blue'' Suede Heartstrings.
* MindOverMatter: He has psychic telekinesis.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Seeing Fremder being shot in the leg by an Earth Pony raider out of spite shocks him into verbally speaking instead of speaking with {{Telepathy}} as he usually does. It also provokes him into letting out a rather intense [[SuperScream psychic scream]] that inflicts fear and panic on all raiders present in retaliation for his friend's injury, disorienting and weakening them.
* PsychicPowers: As a Sapphire Jewel Dragon, he has powers like {{Telepathy}} and [[MindOverMatter psychic telekinesis]]. He mainly uses telepathy to talk and issue orders to his friends in a pinch.
* SupernaturalFearInducer: His breath weapon is essentially a rather intense [[superScream psychic scream]] that inflicts fear and panic on those who were hit by it.
* {{Telepathy}}: He has telepathic powers. He mostly uses this to communicate in place of talking.

[[folder:Lavender]]
----
* MeaningfulName: Her name refers to the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavandula lavender plant]], which has a fragrant smell and is cultivated for herbal and culinary purposes. This is fitting considering she's a Smog Dragon whelp with [[PoisonousPerson poison magic]].
* PoisonousPerson: She's a Smog Dragon, which gives her the power to exude poisonous gasses or just non-lethal but foul-smelling ones.

An infant/toddler Steel Dragon hatchling who came from an extremely abusive home.
----
* AcidAttack: As a Steel Dragon, she has power over acid, though she has little control over it due to being a baby/toddler.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted; she shares her name with one of Bossa Nova Heartstrings' adoptive children, a young Ryujin goddess who is also named Reinigen.
* SinsOfOurFathers: Defied. [[spoiler:Her true identity as Herrlich's biological daughter is kept a secret from the public to protect her from enraged citizens who want revenge for the Neo-NRF's attack on the Cherub Cove Technology Museum.]]
* {{Tykebomb}}: Deconstructed. [[spoiler:She was sired by Herrlich of the Neo-NRF faction with the intent to mold her into becoming the epitome of "True Dragon" values; i.e., being a cruel, greedy, and domineering Dragon who acts little better than a savage animal. To that end, she was subjected to extreme physical, mental, and emotional abuse, including being forced to watch videos of her father and the Neo-NRF's attack on the Cherub Cove Technology Museum. Fortunately, she was rescued while Herrlich was subjected to an ingnominous defeat, but her upbringing left her with long-lasting physical and psychological scars.]]
* WhenSheSmiles: Because she was subjected to extreme physical, mental, and emotional abuse [[spoiler:by her father, Herrlich]], she's usually seen either crying, or in a sad, depressed state when not. Jade Shell and Edel singing one of Moon Ray Vaughoof's songs, [[Music/StevieRayVaughan "Change It"]], not only makes her smile, but also gets her giggling and clapping eagerly.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: She's an Equestrian Dragoness, or ''Draco equestris exiguum'', meaning she has a much smaller size compared to other Draconic species despite being big enough to become quadrupedal (i.e. walking on four legs). She's also a Bronze Dragoness, giving her [[ShockAndAwe lightning magic]].

[[folder:Schurke]]
----
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Downplayed. Maverick is generally a jerk to the protagonist in most timelines, only coming to like them in specific ones that generally don't end entirely well outside the True Ending. Here, Schurke, while initially the same and he tried to attack Shining Dove in the end of the first loop to avenge his dead squadmates, but Ahuareka explains Shining Dove is innocent, leading to him having sympathy for the pain Dove went through.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: In canon, he's implied to have fire breath. Here, he's a Steel Dragon with acid based powers.
* {{Expy}}: Of Maverick.
* LeeroyJenkins: It's noted he has a habit of running headlong into the confrontation with Razorbill and this more often than not got him killed.

[[folder:Askar]]
Schurke's younger identical twin brother, and a Steel Dragon victim of Bestial Regression Syndrome.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: He became an Angel of Death (also known as a "Reaper") postmortem, with all the abilities that come with his position, something that didn't happen to his canon counterpart.
* BackFromTheDead: By his own admission, he strongly considered coming back from the grave just so he could kill Heilung, the one who set him up to die horribly by having him take the wrong medicine for his Bestial Regression Syndrome. He ultimately decided to become a Reaper instead.
* MercyKill: After his Bestial Regression Syndrome turned him into a feral beast that killed and ate multiple dragons, Schurke was forced to put him down to save Tere. Given Askar's words later, he's grateful to his brother for putting him out of his misery.
* RelatedDifferentlyInTheAdaptation: While he and Schurke are brothers in canon, here they are depicted as identical twins due to their strong physical similarities to each other, though Askar is still the younger twin.
* {{Revenge}}: Initially, he strongly considered the option of coming BackFromTheDead somehow so he could kill ex-Minister Heilung for setting him up to die "like a rabid dog", leading to Tere and Schurke being messed up the way they were. Then he realized he could simply become a Reaper so he could personally drag Heilung's soul off to hell once the Gold Dragon kicked the bucket.
* SapientEatSapient: PlayedWith: he did kill and eat other dragons, but it was only after his Bestial Regression Syndrome caused him to become a feral monster with no control of his actions. As a result, Askar only started eating other dragons because his mind had basically ''lost'' its sapience.
* TragicMonster: His Bestial Regression Syndrome caused him to degrade into a feral beast and become a cannibalistic SerialKiller against his will with no control of himself. It turns out Heilung allowed this to happen ''intentionally'', leading to his own brother having to put him down.

* DisappearedDad: He's Fremder's stepfather, and it's justified -- he was murdered by a hitdrake hired by then-Minister Ornatum and his corrupt cohorts in their attempts to deal with his free-thinking wife, Limette. His murder was left unsolved until Ornatum's defeat some years later at the hooves/claws of Jade Shell and her allies, after which evidence of the crime was found by Tere during a police search.

[[folder:Aerri's Parents]]
----
* NoNameGiven: They are left completely nameless. InUniverse, this is justified; Aerri despised her AbusiveParents so much that she vowed to forget even their names, as they had been nothing but lazy assholes who mooched off of her and then abandoned her when she got diagnosed with terminal cancer, only to come crawling back when she became a hero.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Zähmen]]
----
* AdaptationalKarma: In addition to getting killed repeatedly throughout multiple time loops and tricked into becoming Anna/Aerri's lab assistant in canon, he's also [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/5002205860 eventually busted for his incompetence and arrested for his crimes against Aerri]]. Rongoa also believes he's slated to be DraggedOffToHell since Aerri's adoptive uncle, Moon Ray, is a GodOfTheDead and thus wouldn't take kindly to someone raping his niece, due to a friend of Moon Ray's being another rape victim.
* AdaptationalVillainy: In addition to his horrible treatment of Anna in canon, he also sexually coerced Aerri, Anna's {{Expy}}, into being his girlfriend, which essentially made Aerri his SexSlave and is treated as rape as he exploited her fear of dying and desperation to cure her cancer. This was only inferred in canon. He also ends up forming a VillainTeamUp with Honeyguide to become the BigBadDuumvirate of the Angel Vale Retcons event.
* AssholeVictim: He not only gets killed multiple times by Razorbill during the "Angel Vale Time Loop" (with Shining Dove only saving him because he wants to save everyone), but prior to the time loops, he was tricked by Aerri into signing away his own science project over to her, making him her unwilling lab assistant. Then Aerri left and gave him his laboratory back... which led to him [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/5002205860 getting busted for his incompetence and arrested for his crimes against Aerri]]. When Rongoa brings up the definite possibility that he'll be DraggedOffToHell due to Aerri's adoptive uncle being a Death god, no one is really surprised by that fact, showing how despicable he is as a Dragon.
* BigBadDuumvirate: He forms a VillainTeamUp with Honeyguide, becoming one of the main antagonists of the "Angel Vale Retcons".
* DraggedOffToHell: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/5002205860 As realized by Rongoa]], this is the fate Zähmen would receive should he die, as Aerri is the adoptive niece of Moon Ray Vaughoof, a Death god who is friends with another rape victim and thus won't take kindly to learning what he did to Aerri. Though Moon Ray has stated it doesn't have to be specifically him to do the deed.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: He goes from a pathetic assistant to Aerri who posed little intentional threat to one half of the BigBadDuumvirate for the Angel Vale Retcons. With Honeyguide, he rewrites the Angel's Six's story to make the two of them the heroes, as well as get Aerri under his thumb.
* ItsPersonal: He's tied with Ornatum for the person Aerri hates most, as he's also made her life a living hell, basically raped her, and finally messed with her memories to put her under his thumb.
* LaserGuidedKarma: He blackmailed Aerri into working under him in return for giving her research funds, and essentially tried turning her into his SexSlave. Aerri later turned the tables and made ''him'' his lab assistant, with full reign over his lab and unlimited access to his resources. Then after Razorbill's defeat and death, Aerri gives him back his lab, and soon enough, without her help, he's [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/5002205860 busted for his incompetence and arrested for the crimes he committed against Aerri]]. When Rongoa brings up the definite possibility that he'll be DraggedOffToHell due to Aerri's adoptive uncle being a Death god, no one is really surprised by that fact, showing how despicable he is as a Dragon.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: He exploited Aerri's fear of dying and desperation to coerce her into having sex with him. Legally, this is rape and had a bad effect on Aerri herself. He's eventually arrested and tried for doing so, among other things.
* RewritingReality: After Honeyguide comes to him with the Torquem Memorias, a book that allows one to rewrite memories and some measure of reality, he uses it to help steal the Angel's Six's happy ending. Specifically, he uses it to make Aerri his slave.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Damion can't be saved and if Anna is saved will always be killed by Reza, but Zähmen was saved by Shining Dove.
* TamperingWithFoodAndDrink: In order to make Aerri think she still has cancer during the Angel Vale Retcons so she won't break out of the curse altering her memories, he tainted her coffee with sleeping pills. As they weren't meant for dragons, they only gave her weak spells like she had when she had cancer.
* UngratefulBastard: Despite Shining Dove going out of his way to save Zähmen from Razorbill, Zähmen later forms a VillainTeamUp with Honeyguide to try and steal the Angel's Six's happy ending.

!!!'''Character:''' Heroic
!!!'''Alignment:''' Neutral Good
!!!'''Type:''' Smog Dragon, Comforter, Protector, Cleric
!!!'''Faction:''' Angel Vale
\
Trauern (her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Angel-Vale-Notable-Individuals-923799133 here]]) is an Angel Vale Smog Dragon whose loss of her husband sent her into despair, but ultimately became a follower and Cleric of Cloudy Brush, regaining her will to live in the process.
----
* BadPowersGoodPeople: Trauern is a Smog Dragon, and thus possesses poison as her elemental ability. She also became a Grave Domain Cleric, drawing power from [[GodOfTheDead Cloudy Brush]]. She's an entirely benevolent person who uses these abilities for good.
* CPRCleanPrettyReliable: Subverted. Rongoa has to perform CPR on her after saving her from her suicide attempt. While it ''does'' succeed, Trauern suffers bruised ribs from the experience.
* DarkIsNotEvil: She's a Smog Dragon, and thus has dark green scales, and now serves as the Cleric of Cloudy Brush, a GodOfTheDead. She's completely benevolent, and in fact acts as a way for Cloudy to bypass her limitations as a Death God, as a Cleric is not bound by the rules restricting their deity's power. So long as said deity only guides them and doesn't flat out order them.
* DrivenToSuicide: She attempted to kill herself after being unable to handle the pain her beloved husband's death caused her, trying to hang herself in the mine he died in. Fortunately, Rongoa saved her and helped her finally reach acceptance.
* GoodbyeCruelWorld: She wrote a suicide note when she went to the mine Verirrt died in to hang herself. This ironically ends up saving her life, as Rongoa finds it and races to save her as a result.
* InterruptedSuicide: She attempted to hang herself in the mine her husband died in after being unable to handle her grief over his death. Fortunately, Rongoa arrived in time to break the rope with his ice powers and save her life.
* PoisonousPerson: As a Smog Dragon, she possesses the elemental power of poison, including exhaling a blast of choking, noxious smog to poison enemies.
* SecondLove: She and Rongoa end up falling in love after overcoming the deaths of their first loves. Both were given the go ahead by their first loves, who [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy just want them to be happy and move on.]]
* ASharedSuffering: Rongoa losing his fiancée Arbeit allowed him to see the warning signs of Trauern's despair and attempted suicide, allowing him to reach out to her and bring her back from the brink. The two would eventually fall in love and marry.
* SuicideIsShameful: Defied: Rongoa refuses to shame her for trying to commit suicide because she couldn't handle the pain her husband's death caused her and tells her so, as [[ASharedSuffering he knows from experience]] what will drive someone to do something like that.
* WindsOfDestinyChange: One of the abilities she possesses after becoming Cloudy Brush's Cleric is to sense an incoming critical or mortal injury and change destiny to turn it into something much less severe.
* YouAreNotAlone: After suffering in despair for years following her husband's tragic death, she [[DrivenToSuicide attempts to hang herself to escape her pain]]. Rongoa saves her at the last moment and shares his own suffering over his lost love, saying he couldn't have ever handled it alone and offering to help her. She accepts and ends up recovering.

[[folder:Beleben]]
----
* AdaptationExpansion: In the game, his counterpart was simply Reza's first murder victim. Here, while he ''was'' murdered by Razorbill, he ended up being saved by Shining Dove in the final loop, allowing the audience to learn more about him and him to play an actual role.
* BadassBystander: It's noted while Razorbill murdered him in past loops or severely wounded him in the last one, he still managed to fight back and bite him. When a Dumortierite Dragoness on the Anti-Ashfall side attempts a [[MindRape psychic attack]] that reminds him of his being murdered, he goes berserk, tackles her to the ground, and starts beating the stuffing out of her. This was partially motivated by the knowledge Shining Dove saved his life and not wanting that to be trampled.
* BerserkerTears: When the psychic attack of a Dumortierite Dragonness reminds him of how Razorbill murdered him, he goes from having a HeroicBSOD from his PastLifeMemories being triggered to exploding. He proceeds to tackle her to the ground and beat the snot out of her with tears running down his face.

The Triceratop Dracosaur keepers of Mental Bastion, one of the oldest libraries/bookstores of Angel Vale. While big and tough, all of them are very nice Dracosaurs who are friendly and protective of those less powerful than themselves. Featured prominently in the "Codex Quest(s)" stories.
----
* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: They're identical triplets.
* BadassBookworm: All three of them are librarians/bookkeepers, and all of them can hit their opponents with the force of freight trains with their natural strength, horns and magnetism powers.
* HatesTheirParent: Ex-Minister Rajin is the triplets' mother, but none of them like her very much due to her being a corrupt Minister who mistreated Rongoa and contributed to Cherub Cove's overall miserable situation prior to the "Angel Vale Time Loops".
* IdenticalTwinIDTag: They're identical triplets, and ''literally'' wear ID tags so people can tell them apart.
* MagnetismManipulation: They're Triceratops Dracosaurs, which have magnetism as their racial element.
* TemperCeratops: {{Subverted}}: They a trio of Triceratops Dracosaurs, but they're very nice and protective.
* VillainousLineage: It's heavily implied their mother is Rajin, Rongoa's monstrously abusive boss. They're nothing like her, and don't seem very fond of her.
* YouShallNotPass: Formed a shield wall to protect the Codex Researchers, smaller Dracosaurs and other Ashfall Ponies from the Anti-Ashfall protestors during the DinerBrawl at Brecher's restaurant in "Codex Quest(s)".

[[folder:Tormura]]
A Ruby Dragoness from Ophanim Heights working to become a psychologist.
----
* BadassBystander: She was just enjoying a meal during the Anti-Ashfallers' attack. She stepped up and used her powers to counter a Dumortierite Dragonness' own psychic attack.
* BigDamnHeroes: She steps up to save multiple patrons from an anti-Ashfall Dumortierite Dragonness' [[MindRape telepathic attack]] by countering it with her own PsychicPowers.
* NiceGirl: Tormura is a very nice person, being kind to the Researcher Trio when she meets them and having chosen to become a psychiatrist in Cherub Cove simply to take the pressure off Shining Dove.
* PsychicPowers: As a Ruby Dragoness, she has psychic abilities, with one known power being {{Telepathy}}. When an anti-Ashfall Dumortierite Dragonness telepathically attacks multiple restaurant patrons by showing images of Razorbill's evil to sway them to her side, she responds with a counterattack of her own by telepathically showing everyone images of Shining Dove's heroism.
* TheShrink: She's studying psychology and training to be a psychiatrist. She irritably notes that most didn't expect her to be smart enough for such a profession due to her [[ValleyGirl Ophanim Heights]] accent.
* SmarterThanYouLook: While she has a [[ValleyGirl Heights Girl]] accent and mannerisms, causing others to mistake her for being a dumb airhead, she subverts the stereotype. She's actually very intelligent and a third year Psychology college student trying to become a psychiatrist.
* SpoiledSweet: She's from a wealthy family in Angel Vale's entertainment business, but is still a genuinely nice, friendly, and heroic Ruby ragoness.
* {{Telepathy}}: This is one power she has as a Ruby Dragoness. She uses it as a counterattack after an anti-Ashfall Dumortierite Dragonness tries to telepathically sway multiple restaurant patrons into hating all Ashfallers.
* ValleyGirl: Averted. She's got a "Valley Girl" accent with the matching mannerisms and hails from Ophanim Heights, which is the TropeNamer for Angel Vale's equivalent of a ValleyGirl. However, Tormura is actually extremely intelligent and a third year Psychology college student. She hates it whenever people think she's dumb and shallow for both her accent and her family's history as Ophanim Heights entertainers.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: She encourages Jade Shell, an autistic Great Tortoise and ''Codex Equus'' researcher, to not let the "grody jerks" demean her for being disabled or dictate how she lived or worked, because even with her flaws and deficiencies, she still looks up to Jade Shell and thinks she's awesome.

[[folder:Brecher]]
Brecher is Edel's boss and owner of his own resturant in Cherub Cove.
----
* BenevolentBoss: By all accounts, he seems to be a very good boss. This included allowing Moon Ray to come into the back to comfort Edel when she needed it and stepping forward to defend his employees and customers from harm when need be.
* StrongAndSkilled: Brecher is an Ankylosaur Dracosaur, but he's also got armed forces combat training.
* TruceZone: Enforced: he won't bar the Anti-Ashfallers from his establishment on principle, but he also won't tolerate them causing trouble. So he demands anyone eating to leave any open conflict at the door. When they refuse to do so, he's quite willing to show what an Ankylosaur Dracosaur and member of the Angel Vale Armed Forces is capable of.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tinder]]
Tinder is a red dragoness and local Leymit personality in Angel Vale.
----
* EngineeredPublicConfession: When the Anti-Ashfallers stormed Brecher's resturant and started a fight, she was in the middle of a Leymit stream. She kept streaming, showing just what the Anti-Ashfallers did and helping majorly discredit their movement.
* FisticuffProvokingComment: During a tour of a Wild Ones' village in "Codex Quest", Tinder would punch out an obnoxious heckling Leymit personality who made fun of a hatchling having a medical emergency after they argued over it and he ignored her criticism and others' disapproval, with a furious Chief Brullen's permission. She smashed his Ixomane Sphere for good measure.

Vielfrass/Gigaclaws (His entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Angel-Vale-Notable-Individuals-923799133 here]]) is a resident of Cherub Cove and one of its vigilante/superheroic protectors. Despite appearances and his gruff, temperamental and abrasive personality, he is actually one of the oldest Dracosaurs in existence, and also one of the most dangerous with his abilities and experiences.

----
* AbsurdlySharpClaws: Between his natural Megalo-Dracosaur vibro-claw and -teeth abilities as well Adamantium-reinforced skeleton, Vielfrass/Gigaclaws' extra-long retractable claws can slice through almost anything.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He was subjected to horrific experimentations and painful modifications to his body and forcefully trained to fight and kill by Dalong scientists since as young as a hatchling, leaving behind deep emotional and mental scars which contributed to his still quite antisocial character.
* {{Expy}}: Of Wolverine of the X-Men from Marvel Comics, which is lampshaded even in-universe.
* TimeAbyss: As noted, despite appearances he is actually one of the oldest Dracosaurs in existence - he was among the very first of the generation of Dracosaurs which attained full sapience to be hatched back in the Second Age.

Vögelchen (his entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Angel-Vale-Notable-Individuals-923799133 Here]]) is a Talon Biasian cub adopted by Aerri after the Talon Bais War. He's also Jägerin's biological son.
----
* AvengingTheVillain: Went after Aerri after she killed Jägerin. Didn't work, but [[HappilyAdopted ended well for him]].
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: He was never going to be able to kill Aerri, who had faced or survived far worse, but it does lead him to being HappilyAdopted by Aerri instead.
* HappilyAdopted: Aerri adopted him as her son, and his life instantly got better.
* OrphansOrdeal: Jägerin was bribed to abandoned him and later died to Aerri, and his dad a soldier was killed during the Dragontown Attack which help kickstarted the Talon Bais War. Poor Vögelchen had to spend much of his life shamed for being 'born out of wetlock', and then having to endure the loss of his homeland when Talon Bais was wiped off the map.
* ParentalAbandonment: Jägerin was bribed into abandoning Vögelchen after she had him out of wedlock.
* StealthExpert: Having to constantly escape bullying and then survive a war which destroyed his homeland made Vögelchen VERY good at hiding and sneaking.

!Angel Vale Armed Forces
[[folder:General]]
* AcePilot: The Angel Vale Aeroforce are noted as likely being ''the'' {{Ace Pilot}}s among Dragonkind, even if for them they don't need a plane. This is because their cultural focus on stunt flying and air sports transitioned very well into the military.
* BadassArmy: Their military is composed entirely of combat trained, armored and armed dragons paired with well trained 'tiny' co-pilots in their armor.
* EliteArmy: The Angel Vale Aeroforce are noted as likely ''the'' greatest combat flyers among all Dragonkind. It's noted their army ''in general'' was formed with the idea of not being stagnate and just relying on the Veil for protection, and as such is well trained and highly effective.
* TheStrategist: In a strategic masterstroke, at the outbreak of the Talon Bàis War the Angel Vale armed forces devised a plan which would allow them to hold off the onslaught of the Talon Bàisian Griffons when they launched their genocidal wars against various Dragonflights and Free Dragon nations. Utilizing their Zebrican Gate, they funneled the main force attacking Angel Vale through a choke-point, where they find themselves right in the crossfires of a prepared kill-zone where the Angel Vale military can shoot at them with impunity without fear of collateral damage. It was not a perfect trap, as some units did get through, but Angel Vale's plan had effectively stopped the Talon Bàisian assault dead in its tracks and minimized civilian casualties. This is [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/900966875/4977536406 lampshaded]] by the Talon Bàisian Griffons themselves upon realising how thoroughly tricked they were by Angel Vale's forces.

----
* AcePilot: As a commander of the [[EliteArmy Angel Vale Aeroforce]], she's this by default. She can pull off complex maneuvers with ease, and she's capable outflying fighter craft designed to kill dragons.
* ArmoredDragons: She wears a full body suit of armor that's not only protective, but armed with weaponry for Storm Wing to utilize. The armor saves her life, as it renders a pyropenetrator round's enchantment useless and prevents it from activating inside her.
* OurWyvernsAreDifferent: She's a Pterosaur Dracosaur, and thus resembles a wyvern, being a dragon with wings instead of having arms.
* PlayingWithFire: As a Pterosaur Dracosaur, she has heat manipulation abilities.
* RazorWings: Her wing armor has blades for use in melee. She can use her heat generation powers to [[HotBlade superheat them]]. During the 'Cherub Cove Tech-Terror Incident' she uses it to great effect to [[spoiler:blind and eventually cripple the Neo-NRF leader Herrlich by slicing off his wings]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Commander Storm Wing]]
----
* AcePilot: While Säbel does most of the actual flying, Storm Wing is in charge of her armor's weapons systems and her co-pilot/gunner. He's every bit as skilled as she herself is.
* ConditionedToAcceptHorror: It's noted of the two of him, he's far less affected by the deaths caused by the battle he's in compared to Säbel. This is because he's spent five years fighting for his life in a post apocalyptic wasteland.
[[/folder]]

!The Wild Ones
[[folder:General]]
* BigDamnHeroes: They went to help out their city-dwelling counterparts for the defence of Angel Vale during the "Talon Bàis War".
* EvilLuddite: ''Subverted''. They distrust technology and prefers to live wildly, but are defined by the fact they don't stuff their beliefs down their fellow dragons' throats like the Natural Resurgence Front tried to. Indeed, they get along with and help the city-dwellers when they have the chance. They're also willing to make exceptions in the case of medical technology, keeping stockpiles on hand in case of emergencies where their own herbal and Druidic healing techniques won't work. As Brüllen explains, Angel Vale dragons and those like them being willing to swallow their pride when it counts is what seperates them from the 'Old Scales.'
* GoodCounterpart: Like the Natural Resurgence Front, they disagree with Angel Vale's modernized society. Unlike them, they're still fundamentally good and agree with the core principle of moral progress and being benevolent dragons, they merely choose to live a more natural life style in caves away from society. They still persue their own definition of progress, it's simply more magical and druidic in nature. They're also noted as living in relative peace with their city-dwelling counterparts. {{Invoked}} when Chief Tere calls them for help during the Neo-HRF.
* HonorBeforeReason: {{Defied}}: As Brüllen explains, while the Wild Ones dislike modern technology and civilization, they won't allow needless deaths for the sake of their pride. The Wild Ones keep stocks of modern medical supplies and knowledge of how to use them in case of emergencies their own herbal and Druidic healing methods can't deal with.

----
* JumpedAtTheCall: Villtur rallied the Wild Ones to help Angel Vale when the "Talon Bàis War" broke out, knowing they need all the help they can get and also the Griffon dragonslayers would go after them as well.
* NatureHero: She's the high shaman of the Wild Ones who live apart from the civilized city-dwelling folks, and unlike the Natural Resurgence Front gets along with and even help their city-dwelling counterparts despite their differences.

!!Cherub Cove Wild Ones
[[folder:Chieftain Brüllen]]
Chieftain Brüllen is the leader of the Wild Ones in the area around Cherub Cove.
----
* BigDamnHeroes: He led a contingent of Wild Ones to assist Cherub Cove during the 'Cherub Cove Tech-Terror' incident, helping the authorities battle the Neo-NRF led by Herrlich.
* HeroicLineage: As he later reveals to Jade Shell, his family had a ''long'' history with dealing with [[EvilReactionary reactionaries]] -- his grandfather who led the earliest Wild Ones was among those who fled with the Angel to escape his more bigoted, traditionalist Dragon neighbors. His parents were among those who helped General Treu and others fight Stärke and his NRF terrorist faction, and played a role in Stärke's death.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Though a Wild One, like most Wild Ones he's very accepting of the Civilised Ones' way of life and does not hesitate to help them, or approve of using their methods to help his own tribe if situation requires it.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gave a scathing condemnation of Herrlich and the Neo-NRF's ideology no sooner than he arrived at the scene on live national Leymit during the 'Cherub Cove Tech-Terror' incident, calling it, Herrlich and his predecessor out for their barbarism and perversion of 'true' strength, instead declaring it to be a form of weakness that Angel Vale should seek to move away from, be they Civilised or Wild Ones.
[[/folder]]

!Natural Resurgence Front
[[folder:General]]
* AppealToNature: They justify their uprising and beliefs by claiming they are following Dragonkind's own nature as powerful, domineering creatures, and that it's the rest of Angel Vale's society that is acting "unnatural" for allowing progress and letting "lesser" Dragons rule over older ones.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: These Dragons believe that leadership should be dictated by age, experience, and power. Part of the reason why they staged a coup is because they were enraged by how several older and more powerful Dragons (such as themselves) lost council seats to their younger and more progressive counterparts, which they saw as a violation of the natural order of things.
* TheCoup: Attempted this in the backstory of Angel Vale, but failed thanks in part to the efforts of [[TheStrategist General Treu]].
* DecapitatedArmy: Their leader, Stärke, was defeated by General Treu in such a way that the Natural Resurgence Front's beliefs in the "Old Scales" ways were utterly invalidated and broken. After their defeat, the rest scattered to the winds, unable to reform even in the present day.
* EvilReactionary: The Natural Resurgence Front was a faction of "Old Scales" Dragons who resented how Angel Vale's Draconic society was moving away from "traditional" Draconic behaviour (e.g. unfettered greed, dictating who should lead via strength and power, and dominating those weaker than them), and sought to reverse that with an uprising.
* FantasticTerrorists: An organization of EvilReactionary Dracosaurs who want to drag Angel Vale's society back to the avaricious, darwinistic, and barbaric mentality of "Old Scales" Dragons.
* TheSocialDarwinist: They believe that [[AsskickingLeadsToLeadership the strong should rule over the weak]] like many "Old Scales" Dragons and Dracosaurs did, and were ''very'' upset when Angel Vale progressed far enough that the old ways lost their value. Naturally, it's because of their refusal to let go of this mindset that leads to the defeat of their leader and the dismantling of their faction.
* ShockingDefeatLegacy: While being defeated during their uprising is a major blow, what truly crushed it as a faction was the complete dismantling of their beliefs when their leader Stärke was defeated by a squad of Draco equestris exiguum, one of the weakest and smallest dragons on Angel Vale, proving their beliefs in unfettered strength, dominance, and greed were nothing but a load of hot air.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Stärke]]
Stärke (first introduced [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/900966875/4963754133 here]]) was a co-founder of Angel Vale. Unfortunately, he grew disillusioned with how the nation developed and wanted it to go back to the 'old ways' of draconic behaviour, even if he had to form a terrorist organization and launch an uprising to do it.
----
* EvilReactionary: Stärke resented the way Angel Vale's dragon society has moved away from the old 'natural' ways of draconic behaviour and sought to reverse that with an uprising.
* LoadBearingBoss: Downplayed, but his leadership and ideas were central to the NRF's driving motivation and plans. The moment he was defeated in a manner which completely dismantled everything he and the NRF believed in, the terrorist organization fell apart.
* OurFounder: He was one of the founders of Angel Vale, but grew disillusioned with the society he helped built and tried to take over.
* VillainousLegacy: While long dead, but Stärke's influence persists in one form or another even thousands of years later (though still within living memory of some older dragons). [[spoiler:Indeed, a successor faction of 'Neo-NRF' led by his long-hidden son Herrlich would attempt to continue what he started]].
[[/folder]]

!!Neo-NRF
A successor of the Natural Resurgence Front led by a Steel Dragon named Herrlich, the Neo-NRF is a terrorist organization who follows the philosophy of Stärke (Even if diverging in certain ways) that seek to continue and finish what he started. They appeared in ''"[[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Quest-s-A-Codex-Equus-Story-Part-20-938825411 Codex Quest(s)]]"'' infiltrating and later launching a terrorist attack on the Cherub Cove Technology Museum and its ongoing tech-fair as part of their attempt to launch a reactionary uprising.
----
[[folder:General]]
* CurbstompBattle: When their cover was blown, they were quickly able to secure control of the museum and hold the place hostage in spite of the extra security arrangements of the day. It helps that they had a mole who quickly locked down the museum from the rest of the world and turned the security system against the guards and officers trapped within it, allowing the well-armed terrorists to quickly isolate and neutralise most of them in short order.
** A group of them in one section ended up on the receiving end of one when the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights under Knight-Captain Onyx accompanying Tere's group entered the fray, leading to a MookHorrorShow so terrifying even Herrlich was unnerved watching it on a screen. Part of this was their refusal to wear the advanced combat armor out of [[HonorBeforeReason their ego and beliefs]], which might have actually protected them from the Ebon Drakes' weapons.
** An Electric Dragon by the name of Blitzspur ends up being subjected to this by Jade Shell, who first distracts him with a potion flask full of noxious gas, then proceeds to neutralize him in both magic and physical combat. A huge reason behind this is Jade Shell being a Great Tortoise, whose racial traits involve water magic, incredible strength, and clairvoyance, all which perfectly encounter Blitzspur's [[ShockAndAwe electric powers]] and [[EvilReactionary reactionary beliefs]]. By the time Jade Shell is done with him, Blitzspur is left unconscious in a small crater, something that impresses even the distrustful and paranoid Schurke.
* EvilPlan: Their original plan at Cherub Cove Technologies was to infiltrate the museum in secret, rig the tech showcased in the museum and tech fair's exhibits to go haywire and cause massive civilian casualties inside the museum, capping it off with a rigged Draconic Generator going off and destroying the entire museum and every-one/thing in it. It was hoped that the highly sensationalised/publicized disaster would delegitimize technological and other forms of progress in the eyes of Angel Vale and kickstart a reactionary uprising that would restore the GoodOldWays. When their sabotage is exposed and their cover was blown, they locked down and held the museum hostage, while changing their plans to unleashing the rigged exhibits and subverted security systems ''outside'' the museum and destroy Cherub Cove for hopefully even greater effect.
* EvilReactionary: They pay tribute to their predecessor's leader Stärke, follows a version of his reactionary ideology and wanted to finish what he started by launching a reactionary uprising that would return Angel Vale and its Dragons to their 'True natures' as 'True dragons'.
* HonorBeforeReason: They refuse to wear armor due to their egos and beliefs, as many 'Old Scale' dragons do. This blows up in a group of their faces when the Ebon Drakes' weapons prove powerful enough to pierce their natural armor and the advanced combat armor might have protected them.
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** They want to reverse all the progress Angel Vale and its Dragons had made to go back to the 'GoodOldWays' where Dragons prospered by their own might and natural abilities alone. Yet they use the very fruits of Angel Vale's progress and advancement in the weapons and tools they used to facilitate their endgoal. This is likely a case of PragmaticVillainy as Angel Vale is now even more advanced than they were back in Stärke's time, and they rationalise it as 'Turning the enemy's weapons against them' -- in fact, the last part served as the basis of their entire EvilPlan.
** They and their leader also revere Queen Tiamat as their "[[TheMaker Mother Goddess]]" of their kind, believing she created them to be "strong" (i.e. evil, cruel, and domineering brutes who raid and burn 'Tiny' civilizations for fun while shunning any forms of progress or empathy). Yet they completely ignore the fact that Tiamat has a husband, King Bahamut, whom she loves dearly despite her flaws, as well as the role Bahamut played in the creation of modern Dragonkind as Dragonkind's wisdom incarnate, allowing them to think and feel empathy for others like any other sapient race. Tere even destroys Herrlich's reactionary, bigoted beliefs by bringing up his heritage as a Child of Tiamat and [[ArmorPiercingQuestion asking him]] why Tiamat bothered to take the wise Bahamut as her consort if she didn't want her mortal creations to be intelligent.
* MauveShirt: Some of the Neo-NRF terrorists received a bare minimum of characterisation and spotlight POV to highlight both the kind of people who would join and support the Neo-NRF as well as showing the heroic fightback against them from the villains' perspective.
* MookHorrorShow: Despite being well-armed and tough enough to give even normal police forces trouble, the common rank-and-file are still outclassed by the weapons, armour, training and enhancements of [[SuperSoldier Knight-Captain Onyx and her Ebon Drakes Chapterknights]] accompanying Tere's group. The first group which encountered them was very quickly and so thoroughly slaughtered even their leader Herrlich was disturbed by the sheer carnage. They partially brought it on themselves due to refusing to wear advanced combat armor that might have protected them.
* PragmaticVillainy: In contrast to the NRF, who relied on their own natural strength (and lost), the Neo-NRF is willing to use weapons and other tech developed by Angel Vale's progressive dragons for their own ends. Hypocrisy aside, this is probably necessary as modern Angel Vale is simply much more advanced than back in Stärke's time. Subverted when it comes to armor, as they're too prideful to admit their natural durability really ''is'' inferior to it. This blows up in their faces.
* SpannerInTheWorks: The Researcher Trio (Sherlock, Jade Shell and Mirthful Stone) from the "Codex Equus" project as well as Gerald, Glenn and Gen from Mustangia were two major spanners for the Neo-NRF's entire EvilPlan, as their presence led to their first plan being discovered prematurely, and they continued to provide critical aid which tilt the balance against them even as they worked to salvage it.
* YourTerroristsAreOurFreedomFighters: They consider themselves to be revolutionaries trying to restore what truly made Dragons of Angel Vale great, and their actions are all an attempt to start a reactionary uprising to that end. Tere implies that as with Stärke and the original NRF there ARE dragons and dracosaurs in Angel Vale who would also consider the Neo-NRF this trope, and thus required the Neo-NRF and their leader Herrlich to be beaten in the same manner to delegitimise their movement and close it down for good.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pack Leader Herrlich]]
Leader of the Neo-NRF [[spoiler:and Stärke's long-lost son]], Herrlich is the menacing adult Steel Dragon leader of the Neo-NRF who plans to finish what Stärke started, no matter how many must die or they have to kill in the process.
----
* AbusiveParents: [[spoiler:It's revealed that like his father with him he sired a daughter who he wants to continue his and her grandfather's work. From what little implied so far, he had been an awful parent to the poor hatchling]].
* AnArmAndALeg: [[spoiler:On top of being blinded, as part of an elaborate CoupDeGrace Sabel used her wing-blades to cut off his wings at the stumps]].
* BadBoss: He necklifts one of his subordinates merely for questioning their methods in one scene, and is implied to do very nasty things to subordinates who screwed up, leaving his subordinates are afraid of his wrath and of failing him. He also don't care much about their wellbeing or survival so long as they can serve the cause, and would abandon or sacrifice them for it if necessary.
* BigBadDuumvirate: He shares the role of mainantagonist of the Angel Vale Tech Museum Arc with Ornatum. While it was Herrlich's idea, Ornatum has his own agenda and doesn't really care about Herrlich's game.
* {{Determinator}}: To both his credit and detriment, he doesn't give up even when faced with defeat after defeat, instead always working to implement backup plans and make the most of each setback in order to try and wrest some advantage or victory and carry on with his plans.
* DragonsAreDemonic: Downplayed in that he isn't a demon, but he's still a menacing leader of a [[EvilReactionary reactionary]] terrorist movement.
* TheDreaded: He is described as 'menacing' in both character and appearance and his subordinates are more afraid of him than the cops or guards.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: As much of a BadBoss as he is to his subordinates, even he is unnerved by the sheer massacre being inflicted on one group of them by the [[SuperSoldier Ebon Drakes Chapterknights]] backing Tere's group, which he gets to see first-claw on a Leymit screen once he received a desperate call for help from his drakes there.
* EyeScream: From Sabel and Storming in the FinalBattle, who cut and shot out both his eyes and leaving him blinded.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Presents himself to his followers and to the public as a great leader with a great vision for his great people, and for most part believes this was what he is and was doing. Yet beneath that facade he's shown to be a vicious terrorist leader fighting for a demented dogma who's a BadBoss to his own subordinates and is implied to be at least in part a TykeBomb left behind by his father to carry on his work.
* GodzillaThreshold: After seeing an entire group of his terrorists and supporting automatons being utterly massacred by [[SuperSoldier Ebon Drakes Chapterknights]] aiding Tere's group, he sicced one of his right-claw heavy-hitters - a full-grown Ankylo-Dracosaur capable of blowing things up with Detonation energy blasts - into the section with instructions to 'kill everything that moves' with maximum force, hostages and surviving mooks be damned, due to not willing to take any chance against an unknown but undoubtedly dangerous force they were facing.
* HumiliationConga: Invoked by Sabel and Stormwing as well as others in his defeat in order to delegitimise his cause.
* LaserGuidedKarma: His defeat in the FinalBattle had him going through a HumiliationConga where he is not only beaten by a pair of physically weaker but better-armed/armoured combatants, [[spoiler:but is left blinded, flight-crippled and quite literally becoming a BoxedCrook being thrown into a pen-box where he is gassed unconscious, leaving him in a state where he's treated like an animal he wanted to turn Dragons back into living like and being dependent on others for the rest of his life]].
* RousingSpeech: He attempted to give one to all of Angel Vale when their cover is fully blown but realises that national media attention is now fully focused on the mueseum, attempting to use this chance to sway those in the public who would be sympathetic to their course and trigger the reactionary uprising he had wanted to create early. Luckily Chief Tere would barge in with a PatrickStewartSpeech that also doubles as a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to him and his cause, swinging public opinion against his movement and taking the fuel right under the fire he tried to start.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: He, like Stärke, is a Steel Dragon. [[spoiler: This may have something to do with the fact he is in fact his long-lost son]].
* OverlordJr: [[spoiler:He's Stärke's ''long-lost son''. This surprised everyone from Angel Vale as Stärke didn't have any recorded progeny, which Herrlich explained is due to being the centerpiece of his father's secret backup plan in case he failed]].
* TheStrategist: He planned his attack on Cherub Cove Technologies carefully, having his forces hide their tracks and having backup plans to carry out their endgoal in another manner in the event their first plan was discovered and foiled, and reacts decisively and quickly to any change in circumstances to salvage the situation in their favour.
* WeHaveReserves: He ordered one of his heavy hitters to get into a section and kill everything that moves - even the remaining terrorists present - when things went south in there. Then again, considering he just saw Ebon Drakes Chapterknights massacring his forces in there, this might arguably be [[GodzillaThreshold less disproportionate than it may appear]].
* WhatTheHellAreYou: He has no idea what the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights are and considers them nothing short of 'monsters' after seeing them massacre some of his terrorists and the automatons backing them up so thoroughly even he was disturbed by the carnage.
* VillainousBreakdown: He had several over the course of the 'Cherub Cove Technology Museum' arc as his plans keep getting derailed or foiled by the heroes and authorities within and outside the museum. To his credit, he quickly recovers from most of them.
** He had a particularly big breakdown when the 'RousingSpeech' he attempted to make to Angel Vale to inspire a reactionary uprising was foiled by Tere cutting in with his own PatrickStewartSpeech defending everything Angel Vale stands for and a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech against Herrlich and his movement, enraging him to the point that he threw the podium he was behind on the studio camera after Cherub Cove's residents made clear chose Tere and Angel Vale over his Neo-NRF's cause.
%%** He has an even bigger and more definitive breakdown as he fought Sabel and Stormwing, not only from their [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech words]] and [[IShallTauntYou taunts]] carefully crafted to cause him to lose control, but also from attacks which ultimately blinded and crippled him.
* VisionaryVillain: He shares the same vision as [[spoiler:his father]] Stärke for a reactionary new order for Angel Vale where Dragons/Dracosaurs would return to the 'GoodOldWays' where they prosper by their own natural strength alone instead of being 'weakened' by progress.
* VillainousVirtues: For all his faults, he has shown that he doesn't let any setback or defeat overwhelm him or drive him mad beyond reason, instead getting over them and keep working to [[TheDeterminator find and wrest an advantage or victory out of each setback]].
* XanatosSpeedChess: Downplayed, but Herrlich proved himself to be an adaptable and determined leader, able and willing to adjust his plans when needed in order to make sure they would still succeed in some manner despite repeated setbacks.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: His alliance with [[spoiler:Ornatum]] is one of convenience, with [[spoiler:Ornatum]] helping Herrlich subvert the Cherub Cove mueseum's security system in exchange for a chance to [[spoiler:take out Meleti and Aerri]]. Given what [[spoiler:Ornatum]] represented stands contradictory to the Neo-NRF's platform and they can barely stand each other, Herrlich was on the fence about whether to keep him around to help suppress 'Undraconic' dissidents in Angel Vale or simply get rid of the insufferable son-of-a-Black-Dragon after their mueseum operation.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Butch]]
A Deino-Dracosaur terrorist, Butch was one of the first terrorists to be encountered and beaten by the heroes in the Cherub Cove Technology Museum terrorist incident.
----
* CassandraTruth: He tried to notify others of Mirthful Stone's presence. They scoffed him off because of his repute as a joker and they had never seen a Qilin (a lion-maned/tailed dragon-pony hybrid creature). This prevented the trio's stealth mission from being blown.
* ExtremeMeleeRevenge: On the receiving end: Mirthful Stone used a moment of distraction to jam his trigger claw and then slam his elemental charger in his face. Then Mirthful pounced on him and caused the two to tumble onto the ground in a ball of desperate violence, before Mirthful grabbed his discarded elemental charger and smashed its butt repeatedly onto his head until he stopped moving.
* MauveShirt: Named and characterised as something of a jokester in his brief appearance.
* NearVillainVictory: He got Mirthful Stone at weapons point and had him dead to rights. Being distracted trying to warn his teammates gave Mirthful Stone the chance he needed to jam his trigger claw with his telekinesis and then slam the rest of the weapon in his face.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: He exists to highlight how dangerous and competent the terrorists are for all their faults and weaknesses. He nearly ruined Tere group's plan to escape the sealed National Defence Exhibit section when he found out the vent which Stygian, Sherlock and Mirthful are using to escape it and had his Elemental Charger in Mirthful Stone's face the moment he crawled out of it. Had it not for Mirthful Stone's quick thinking and desperate attack they would not had succeeded in unsealing the section.
* RaptorAttack: He's a Deino-Dracosaur, making him around roughly the size of Mirthful, Sherlock and Stygian.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Downplayed as he didn't do much to change the plot, but Mirthful Stone got his elemental charger from him once he managed to beat him.
* UncertainDoom: Mirthful didn't know whether he had beaten him unconscious or to death with his own weapon, and the Qilin was too overwhelmed and distracted at the moment to care.

[[folder:Täuschen]]
One of the Neo-NRF terrorists, Täuschen and his partner Blödian were among those who tried to keep the hostages down and implement their faction's plans until they had the misfortune of encountering Tere's group - more specifically the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights accompanying them.
----
* AssholeVictim: Was as villainous as the rest of the terrorists, so he was hardly missed when he got his arm blown off and reduced to a terrified shell desperately screaming for help as his comrades are killed all around him.
* BumblingHenchmenDuo: The smarter one, although both he and his partner are smarter and more dangerous than most examples.
* AnArmAndALeg: He had one of his arms blown off by a gyro-bolt round from the Ebon Drakes' Gyro-Pneumatic Repeaters, on top of having broken bones all over his body.
* MauveShirt: He and Blödian's were there to give exposition to the audience (and Tere's group who were listening in) regarding the Neo-NRF's current plan via their dialogue. Then serve as terrorists' POV view of the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights accompanying Tere's group in action.
* MisterExposition: Served as this with his partner, both in-universe and out-.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: He's a Griffonian Dragon, [[CaptainObvious a Dragon from Griffonnia]].
* SmugSnake: He treats his dim-witted partner Blödian with hidden contempt and smugly talked about their [[KickTheDog terrorist plans and planned disposal of the hostages]]. This quickly evaporated into sheer terror when the Ebon Drakes chapterknights entered the scene and massacred most of them in short order.
* KickTheDog: He and his partner were both very gleeful at the prospect of blowing up a mueseum, destroying Cherub Cove, killing hostages and starting a bloody reactionary uprising that would tear Angel Vale apart.
* VillainousBreakdown: Being badly injured and watching his comrades being slaughtered by the Ebon Drakes Chapterknight supersoldiers wiped all the smugness out of him and left Täuschen a desperate, terrified shell screaming for help on his communicator.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Blödian]]
One of the Neo-NRF terrorists, Blödian and his partner Täuschen were among those who tried to keep the hostages down and implement their faction's plans until they had the misfortune of encountering Tere's group - more specifically the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights accompanying them.
----
* AssholeVictim: Was as villainous as the rest of the terrorists, so he was hardly missed when he got his head blown off.
* BumblingHenchmenDuo: The more bumbling one, though he and his partner are smarter and more dangerous than most examples.
* DinosaursAreDragons: He's a Megalosaurus Dracosaur, making him both dinosaur and dragon like many Angel Vale inhabitants.
* TheDitz: He's... not very bright. He needed Täuschen to explain the details what they were doing at the moment, though he's still smart enough to know the cause he's fighting for and grasp the implications of their plans once Täuschen laid it out to him.
* MauveShirt: He and Täuschen's were there to give exposition to the audience (and Tere's group who were listening in) regarding the Neo-NRF's current plan via their dialogue. Then serve as terrorists' POV view of the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights accompanying Tere's group in action.
* MisterExposition: Served as this with his partner, both in-universe and out-.
* KickTheDog: He and his partner were both very gleeful at the prospect of blowing up a mueseum, destroying Cherub Cove, killing hostages and starting a bloody reactionary uprising that would tear Angel Vale apart.
* YourHeadASplode: His unfortunate death, courtesy of a gyro-bolt round to his skull.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: He was killed mere seconds after Knight-Captain Onyx's Ebon Drakes Chapterknight trio entered the scene, though not before serving as exposition in- and out-universe for the terrorists' current plans.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tierisch]]
One of the Neo-NRF terrorists, Tierisch is a loyal subordinate of Herrlich who faithfully follows his orders and never questioned the Neo-NRF cause, and thus Herrlich appear to rely on him as his go-to drake for situations requiring heavy, overwhelming firepower.
----
* TheDragon: He's implied to be one of Herrlich's right hand drakes, and is incredibly loyal to him. He's also literally a fully-grown Ankylosaur Dracosaur.
* GodzillaThreshold: Herrlich sent Tiersich into a section of the museum to 'kill everything that moves' with overwhelming force (without care for collateral or friendly fire) [[CurbstompBattle when a whole group of his Neo-NRF terrorists was massacred]] by the [[SuperSoldier Ebon Drakes chapterknights]] who were accompanying Tere's group. Considering he has no idea what 'monsters' they were facing and didn't want to take any chances [[MookHorrorShow after seeing the sheer carnage they inflicted]], this is not entirely a disproportionate response.
* NoNonsenseNemesis: While he was also following orders to 'kill everything that moves', when he charged into the section Tere's group was in and found his comrades massacred by the Ebon Drakes Chapterknights with Tere and the hostages being rescued, he immediately launches a Detonation sphere without hesitation on the largest group of enemies present. He almost brought down the mezzanine most of Tere's group and the freed hostages were under right on top of them were it not for a last-second save by Stygian and every psyker/psion in the vicinity using their shadow/psychic powers to stop and hold back the explosion long enough for it to be disposed of in a Blast Bucket.
* ShockingDefeatLegacy: Invoked by Tere: as he and Tierisch are the same species but Tierisch is much older, the Neo-NRF's dogma says it should be a CurbstompBattle for Tierisch, who is 'naturally' stronger. However, Tere has trained heavily and actually knows how to fight properly, and thus intentionally picks a fight with Tierisch and beats him with the cameras rolling to discredit their ideology.
* UnskilledButStrong: He's a fully grown Ankylosaur Dracosaur, and thus ''very'' strong, but he has next to no actual technique with that strength. As such, the StrongAndSkilled Tere, who's roughly equal in strength due to training, was able to beat him one on one despite Tierisch being four times larger and much older.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Raken]]
A Velociraptor Dracosaur who joined the Neo-NRF faction to avenge both her own mistreatment and her younger brother's death at the claws of Ornatum, Cherub Cove's previous Minister of Science.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Grond]]
An Earth Dragon who joined the Neo-NRF faction to revert Angel Vale back to the Stone Age, but out of good intentions rather than any pro-Dragon bigotry on his part.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wendel]]
A Deinonychus-Dracosaur Neo-NRF member, Wendel was a lost soul of society who joined up Herrlich's cause out of anger at being 'left behind', wanting to create a fairer and better Angel Vale where everyone have an equal chance at prospering by their own strength alone.
----
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: From what he implied, he and other drakes were among those 'losers' of society who because they couldn't keep up with Angel Vale's breakneck pursuit of progress, and joined up the Neo-NRF because he felt drakes like Herrlich are the only ones who truly cared for them and would help bring about a better Angel Vale where no drake would be left behind.
* CorneredRattlesnake: When backed to a corner by Shining Dove's group and the SWAT accompanying them, he held a hatchling hostage and threatened to shoot him with his elemental charger if they don't let him go free.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Implied. Whatever he went through in life, it left him as it had others felt abandoned, marginalised and forgotten for being unable to 'keep up', leading to him joining the Neo-NRF.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: This is how Shining Dove talked him down, as despite everything he still doesn't ''really'' want to hurt anybody, just wanting to live and for everyone to have a future without being left behind. Pointing out that harming the hostages won't give him what he really wanted but letting them go and surrendering would still give him the chance of having a future convinced Wendel to stand down.
* EvilReactionary: Subverted to a point. While he is a angry young drake who despises Angel Vale's progress because he felt marginalised and abandoned 'like trash', he truly wanted to a better and fairer Angel Vale where even those who couldn't keep up could prosper.
* HostageSituation: He and his mates were in charge of one group of hostages during the mueseum incident. He also started one by holding a hatchling at elemental charger point when he was cornered out of sheer desperation.
* MortalityPhobia: As Wendel puts it, he felt like the only thing left worthwhile is his life and didn't want to lose that too. This led to him resisting arrest and holding a hatchling hostage when he was cornered, as he believed he was going to die one way or another if he was caught (since they had all done enough by that point for him and his comrades [[CapitalPunishment to be hanged]]).

!Other Angel Vale Residents

[[folder:Edel's Parents]]
----
* AbusiveParents:
** They were emotionally and mentally abusive to Edel growing up, controlling every aspect of her life and forcing her to be the perfect, ideal daughter they wanted. They also showed extreme disapproval towards Edel's desire to become an athlete. If she disobeyed their wishes or failed to fulfill their expectations in any way, they would accuse her of being a lazy UngratefulBastard. Edel eventually reached her breaking point and stood up to them, but that only prompted them to [[KickTheDog laugh at her dream]] and [[IHaveNoSon kick her out of the house]]. Years later, when Edel tried inviting them to her and Shining Dove's wedding in hopes they TookALevelInKindness in her absence, they respond back with such apathy that she is left a fuming, sobbing wreck. Needless to say, it's the last straw that drives Edel to accept [[GodOfTheDead Moon Ray Vaughoof]] as her [[ParentalSubstitute father-figure]].
** After hatching their second daughter, Phönix Vaughoof, they proceeded to indoctrinate and emotionally abuse her so they could turn her into the ideal child and heir that their firstborn, Edel, wasn't. [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5019539174 Unfortunately for them]], karma finally caught up to them when Edel noticed something going on with Phönix and called the police, landing their parents in prison and turning them into social pariahs.
* ControlFreak: They had a plan for Edel's life and forced her to follow up via [[AbusiveParents emotional and mental abuse]], accusing her of being ungrateful and lazy if she didn't go along with it. It's to the point they laughed in her face over her dreams and boot her out of the house, basically disowning her, when she finally [[CallingTheOldManOut calls them out.]]
* EducationMama: Deconstructed and played for drama. Edel's parents pushed her to get good grades and pursue college degrees she was completely disinterested in for the sole reason of turning her into their perfect daughter. If she failed or disobeyed them, they would call her ungrateful and lazy. When Edel eventually defies them, they not only laugh at her, but also disown her and kick her out of the house. This leaves Edel's relationship with her parents incredibly strained, but it's not until they [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/900966875/4958892001 respond apathetically to her wedding invitation]] years later that she officially cuts ties with them and accepts Moon Ray Vaughoof as her adoptive father.
* HelicopterParents: They basically tried to control every aspect of Edel's life to mold her into their perfect heir rather she likes it or not. This included doing everything in their power to crush her dream of being an athlete as it didn't fit their designs. In the end, they do this out of being controlling to a toxic degree, not actual compassion, and disown her for standing up to them.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Long-overdue karma finally bit them both in the tail when their abusive upbringing of their second daughter, Phönix, [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5019539174 came to light]] thanks to Edel, leading to their reputations ruined and landing them both in prison.
* ReplacementGoldfish: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5019539174 Phönix]], their second daughter, was one for Edel. Because Edel refused to follow their whims any longer and cut times with them, they deemed their first daughter a "failure" and tried indoctrinating Phönix from a young age in order to have a second go at making their ideal heir. Needless to say, their emotional abuse of Phönix eventually landed them in trouble when Edel found out and called the police on them.

[[folder:Seherin]]
A rotten, SpoiledBrat cousin of Edel, she was reduced from a wealthy family's indulgent scion to a bitter PhonyPsychic working in the Angel's Coast amusement park trying to swindle customers out of their money to make ends meet. She is first [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Quest-s-A-Codex-Equus-Story-Part-61-957087306 depicted]] in Codex Quest(s) where the Researcher Trio, their companions and other characters encounter her during their visit to Angel Vale.
----
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Grows to giant size during her fight with the Researcher Trio.
* ClusterFBomb: When Jade Shell slams her foot with a water hammer, the giant-sized Seherin swears up a storm while hopping around holding her injured foot.
* GreenEyedMonster: She is ''incredibly'' bitter over the fact that Edel, despite being in her eyes a 'damaged good' and 'reject' of her clan, ultimately got a happy ending in the form of good friends, caring family and a heroic reputation, while she who had lived up to her wealthy's (rotten) reputation and standing was reduced to destitute and hardship. [[spoiler:Her psychological shadow created by the Mad Wind card reveals what she's ''actually'' jealous of is that Edel broke free of her AbusiveParents while Seherin could never bring herself to do, and Edel made a better life for herself while Seherin just got ''worse''.]]
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:Her shadow summoned via the Mad Wind card]] reveals a lot of things she's been hiding. [[spoiler:She actually is fully aware of how much of her misery is her own fault, ''deeply'' resents her own AbusiveParents and her aunts and uncles, has a good deal of self-loathing, and her envy of Edel actually comes from Edel breaking free of her parents while Seherin never could.]]
* IronicName: "Serehin" is a feminine term for "seer" in German, but she is a PhonyPsychic who defrauds her customers either overpricing them or tricking them into giving her their private information, and possess no true psychic abilities.
* NeverMyFault: She blames Edel and the world in general for what she had been reduced to, never once blaming herself or her family's rotten nature and actions for their own downfall. [[spoiler:Her shadow reveals she's fully aware of it and hates herself for it, but she uses Edel as a scapegoat to avoid admitting it.]]
* PhonyPsychic: After going from RichesToRags, she was forced to work as one in the Angel's Coast Amusement Park. She overcharges her customers, gives bogus predictions, and even tries to trick her marks into giving them their private information so she could steal/swindle more from them later on. She is eventually exposed by Ruya, who was once a criminal like her and thus saw through her tricks when she tried to swindle Ruya's adoptive mother, Velvet Heart.
* SpoiledBrat: Her defining trait, as observed by Dissonant Tune. Even after her family lost their money and reputation, she still acts like the world revolves around her, throws tantrums when it doesn't cater to her wants, and [[NeverMyFault blames those she thinks are responsible for her family's misery instead of taking responsibility for her own mistakes]].

The Angel (her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-67-914602463 here]]) is the patron goddess of Angel Vale and implied to be the last surviving, and only benevolent, creators of the Dracosaurs. While long dead, her influence is still felt to this dead.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: [[spoiler:The Administrator/Otomo Izumi]] is just a normal human, if [[TheChessmaster an extremely intelligent one]]. The Angel is a PhysicalGod who managed to save Angel Vale from an entire massive dragonflight by herself, though possibly at the cost of her own life.
* AdaptationalHeroism: [[spoiler:The Administrator/Otomo Izumi is...morally ambiguous and willing to do some flat out villainous things to protect her creations. The Angel never does those things, in part due to possibly being long dead by the present.]]
* AdaptedOut: As her role in the GroundhogDayLoop is replaced by Ourophion, the Angel has no presence in the events of the story, and in fact likely died ''long'' before it.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: While her real domains are shrouded in mystery, she's speculated InUniverse to have been an Alicorn goddess who embodied Dracosaurs, Mothers, and Protection.
* BatmanGambit: She convinced Dragon Queen Tiamat to adopt the Dracosaurs as her children, knowing that Tiamat was enough of a MamaBear that she wouldn't tolerate Dalong [=SynTech=] abusing or trying to steal them from her. The end result was [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge Tiamat reducing Dalong to ashes]], exactly as the Angel planned.
* CassandraTruth: Back when she was a scientist at Dalong [=SynTech=], she discovered the Dracosaurs were sapient and tried to tell the higher ups. They refused to listen, as their estimates said it was impossible. Eventually, she decided to resort to freeing the Dracosaurs and fleeing to get the help from Queen Tiamat.
* CoolMask: She always wore a wooden mask, presumably to hide scars inflicted by Dalong. This mask has become iconic of the Angel and is part of her holy symbol, and the priests of the Church of the Angel wear copies of it in her memory.
* DiesDifferentlyInAdaptation: The Administrator[[spoiler:/Otomo Izumi]] dies in multiple loops at Reza's hands [[spoiler:including the True Ending]], here she is assumed to have died ''long'' ago in a HeroicSacrifice to save Angel Vale.
* {{Expy}}: She's one to The Administrator[[spoiler:/Otomo Izumi]].
* GodIsDead: It's unknown if she's still alive, as some legends suggest she [[HeroicSacrifice sacrificed herself]] to create the Vale or to [[YouShallNotPass wipe out the dragonflight that was threatening it.]]
* GoodIsNotNice: It's noted while she was benevolent and genuinely good, she could also be ruthlessly pragmatic and had a TheNeedsOfTheMany mentality. She was aware of this and encouraged her followers ''not'' to be the same and be better than the Angel herself was.
* HeroicSacrifice: She was last seen creating the Veil to protect Angel Vale and facing an entire massive Dragonflight by herself.
* TheMaker: Some legends suggest she's the sole surviving creator of the Dracosaurs who was also the only one who cared about them to the point of calling down Tiamat on her cohorts heads.
* TheNeedsOfTheMany: She's noted as having had this mentality, being willing to commit morally ambiguous acts if she has to to help the greatest number of people. This [[HeroicSacrifice includes her own life]].
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Her true name isn't known by her worshipers and she's only known as the Angel. However, her real name is eventually revealed to the audience as [[spoiler:Dr. Guiding Spring.]]
* PhysicalGod: An Alicorn goddess who protected Angel Vale and created the Vale to protect it. She is still worshipped by them to this day.
* PragmaticHero: She's noted as being willing to be ruthlessly pragmatic if needed and possessing a TheNeedsOfTheMany mentality. She was aware of this and encouraged her followers ''not'' to be this, but instead be better than she was.
* SummonBiggerFish: Her solution to finally free the Dracosaurs from Dalong [=SynTech=]? Seek out Queen Tiamat and convince her to adopt the Dracosaurs as part of her children, knowing Tiamat wouldn't tolerate Dalong trying to steal her new children from her. The end result was Tiamat wiping Dalong off the face of Equus.
* TakingYouWithMe: As the massive dragonflight she was last seen facing was never seen or heard from again, it's likely the Angel took ''all'' of them with her if she died.
* YouShallNotPass: Whether she lived or not is unknown, but she was last seen creating the Vale to seal off Angel Vale and protect it from a rampaging dragonflight that threatened to destroy it, with some legends suggesting she continued to fight until both they and her were destroyed.

Amethyst (first introduced [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/900966875/4959889626 here]]) Amethyst is a former friend of Sakit who abandoned them after discovering they were a hermaphrodite, only to later see the error of her ways.
----
* TheAtoner: Seeks to make it up to Sakit for abandoning them for being a hermaphrodite.

----
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Cloudy Brush brings his soul to visit his wife Trauern when she was experiencing guilt over having fallen in love with Rongoa. Verirrt tells her he couldn't say he loved her if he had her be miserable for his sake, and gives her his blessing to pursue her relationship with Rongoa.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Morrigan]]
A Dumortierite Dragoness who is a member of the anti-Ashfallers faction.
----
* BlueIsHeroic: Inverted. She's a Dumortierite Dragoness, which means she shares the same blue scales as King Dumortierite, but she's a ruthless KnightTemplar who's willing to essentially MindRape people (including [[WouldHurtAChild young children]]) into joining her side. For bonus points, she's opposed by Tormura, a ''Ruby'' Dragoness who is able to counter her due to being a fellow Jewel Dragon.
* BreakThemByTalking: She attempts to stop the brawl by using her {{Telepathy}} to MindRape the entire pro-Ashfall side and browbeat them into seeing the Ashfallers as a bunch of foreign invaders who will continue Razorbill's work in ruining Angel Vale. [[ShutUpHannibal It doesn't work]], as not only everyone she affected is understandably angry with her for her racism and self-righteous hypocrisy, but also one of the brawlers, Tormura, happens to be a Ruby Dragoness who is able to counter her with her own PsychicPowers.
--> '''Morrigan:''' ''(telepathically)'' '''Enough. You have made a grave error in supporting the Ashbreathers. Don't you see the harm they have inflicted upon us? Our society? Our culture? We have lost much thanks to them. Perhaps you all shall see the light and repent your ways.'''
* EvilCounterpart: To King Dumortierite. Unlike Dumortierite, who is also a Jewel Dragon of the same type yet preaches altruism and peaceful co-existence among races, Morrigan is a self-righteous KnightTemplar who uses her PsychicPowers to spread her faction's racist agenda. To further the difference, Dumortierite is a [[DragonsAreDivine Ryujin]], whereas Morrigan is mortal. Even Jade Shell recognizes that Morrigan is wholly different from Dumortierite in terms of personality despite being of the same race.
* {{Hypocrite}}: She thinks the Ashfallers shouldn't be trusted based on the wicked actions of Razorbill, and is willing to make everyone see her view no matter the cost. However, she comes off as self-righteous since she refuses to acknowledge that Angel Vale would've been wiped out if not for Shining Dove, a benevolent Ashfaller, and her attempted MindRape of everyone is rightly treated with revulsion and fury, as shown with Tormura, Beleben, and Edel's reactions.
* KnightTemplar: She genuinely believes she's doing everyone a favor by driving the Ashfallers out of Angel Vale, thinking they couldn't and shouldn't be trusted based on [[SerialKiller Razorbill]]'s wicked actions. Those who think otherwise are wrong and should be made to see the error of their ways. This bites her hard in the flank when she not only receives a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown from a traumatized Dragon who was one of Razorbill's victims, but also gets attacked by those who don't buy her bullshit, even getting knocked out by [[MamaBear an enraged Edel]] and arrested by Tere's squad.
* MeaningfulName: She's named after [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Morr%C3%ADgan the Morrigan]], the Celtic goddess of War and Fate who foretells doom, death, or victory in battle.
* PsychicPowers: As a Jewel Dragoness, she shares the same powers as King Dumortierite of the Cobbletown Pantheon, but uses them to spread the anti-Ashfallers' racist agenda via MindRape.
* {{Telepathy}}: As a Jewel Dragoness (albeit a Dumortierite one), she has telepathic abilities. She uses this to MindRape everyone who opposed the anti-Ashfallers by showing them gruesome images of Razorbill's evil, stating the Ashfallers shouldn't be trusted based on that alone.
* WouldHurtAChild: She wouldn't hesitate to use her {{Telepathy}} to MindRape even young Dragon/Dracosaur whelps if it means the anti-Ashfallers gain a few more supporters. This attracts the wrath of [[MamaBear Edel]], who knocks her out in retaliation following the [[BigDamnHeroes timely arrival]] of Tere's police squad.

[[folder:Razorbill]]
Shining Dove's fellow ambassador who later became a SerialKiller and insane villain.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: In ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'', he killed the five main Dragons over several time loops with just a knife and a gun. In the Codexverse, he was powered up considerably because the Dragons were changed to MLP-style Dragons, which are ''much'' stronger. His weapon is changed to a magical Dragon-slaying sword called ''Draig Gwaed'', but it's not until the final loop that he starts [[OneWingedAngel mutating into a monster powerful enough to fight the entire group at once]], thanks to accidentally setting off the sword's Changeling-empowering enchantments.
* AdaptationalKarma: In the game, Reza's fate after being arrested isn't elaborated on. Here, Razorbill is forced to see the supervolcano being stopped, thus showing his actions were AllForNothing. He is then executed for high treason.
* AllForNothing: In most loops, Razorbill's actions either fail to save Ashfall entirely or actively cause its destruction to be ''worse''. In the final loop, the High Council of Ashfall decided to invoke this by delaying his execution long enough for him to witness both Dragons and Ponies working together to stop the supervolcano, both to hammer home how completely pointless his quest was, as well as rob him of any chance to paint himself as a martyr.
* ArtificialLimbs: His right front leg is a clockwork prosthetic that's much stronger than a normal Earth Pony's limb. Shining Dove later breaks it during their fight in the final time loop.
* BeyondRedemption: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5113075810 Moon Ray informs]] Dove that by the time Dove arrived in Angel Vale, Razorbill's own decisions had left him beyond Dove's ability to turn him back. Razorbill ''could'' have been a hero, and was in other timelines, but by the time of the Timeloops, he'd sealed his fate with his own choices.
* BigBad: Razorbill is the main antagonist of the Angel Vale Timeloop, being the one who must be stopped in order to save Angel Vale and Ashfall from destruction.
* DirtyCoward: As pointed out by Shining Dove, the real reason why he became a SerialKiller menacing the Dragons of Angel Vale is because he's a two-faced coward who just wanted to save his own hide. Notably, he ''knew'' that Ashfall will eventually be destroyed by the supervolcano, but chose not to warn his people and worked alone out of sheer anti-Dragon bigotry.
* DontCreateAMartyr: This is the sole reason why Ashfall's ruling council decided to delay his execution until after the supervolcano is stopped: If he is given a quick execution after being dragged back home to face trial by Shining Dove, then he'll paint himself as a martyr who died to save his kingdom and possibly [[InspirationalMartyr rally others to his cause]]. By delaying his death long enough to see the folly of his own actions, he is robbed of any validation he might feel towards his actions.
* EvilMakesYouMonstrous: ''Draig Gwaed'' has an enchantment that's meant to power up Changelings. This enchantment goes completely haywire when used by anything else, mutating them into a form that reflects their inner nature. As Razorbill is a monstrous person deep down, he assumes monstrous form.
--> '''Razorbill''': [[NeverMyFault Look at what you've done!]] Look what you've turned me into!\
'''Sakit''': Draig Gwaed only brings to the surface who you are inside!\
'''Aerri''': This is all '''you''', you son of a Black Dragon!
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: When confronted by Shining Dove for killing his Dragon friends, he blows off the idea, his racism making him see the Dragons of Angel Vale as savage beasts that deserved to die. He even cruelly compares them to meat.
--> '''Ambassador Shining Dove:''' You killed innocent people! You killed my FRIENDS!\
'''Razorbill:''' Friends? Next you'll tell me you sympathize with a steak!
* {{Expy}}: Of Reza, the main villain of ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings''.
* FakeArmDisarm: Invoked: realizing its his most dangerous weapon at that point, Shining Dove targets and breaks his mechanical leg at the elbow during their final confrontation.
* FallenHero: It's noted [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5036569665 he was a hero in Ashfall]] prior to being sent to Angel Vale, as his ruthlessness, pragmatism, and skill at survival made him a huge asset in surviving in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and he was generally reliable. Unfortunately, those very things were part of what made him a monster when sent to Angel Vale.
* FantasticRacism: He's incredibly racist towards Dragons and is willing to let them all die to a volcanic eruption. While he claims it's to save his home, the similarly doomed Pony kingdom of Ashfall, [[{{Hypocrite}} various characters point out that it's his cowardice that doomed Ashfall in the first place]]. He also has no qualms over stealing a bunch of unhatched Dragon eggs for the purpose of turning them into slaves. When Shining Dove confronts him over his actions, he blows off the idea of his Dragons victims being capable of befriending others, even comparing them to meat.
* KarmicDeath: He betrayed Ashfall and murdered several innocent Dragons from Angel Vale (including Rongoa's [[WouldHurtAChild young adoptive daughter]] in one time loop) out of sheer FantasticRacism, and even kidnapped a clutch of unhatched eggs to raise them as nothing but slaves, pets, and weapons. He also endangered Ashfall in the first place by not telling his people of the supervolcano, and did everything he could to cover up his folly out of cowardice. Several times he is killed by either Shining Dove or one of Angel Vale's Dragons over multiple time loops, but it's not until the final loop that he's finally brought down by Shining Dove and his Draconic friends, arrested, and dragged back to Ashfall to be tried. Instead of executing him on the spot for treason, Ashfall's ruling council decides to prolong his fate by forcing him to watch as both Ashfall and Angel Vale work together to stop the supervolcano, robbing him of any chance he has to paint himself as a martyr.
* OneWingedAngel: His sword's enchantments are meant only for Changelings, not Ponies. As a result, when he accidentally sets one off in the final loop, it mutates him into a monstrous form reflecting [[EvilMakesYouMonstrous his true nature]].
* PragmaticHero: Prior to becoming a SerialKiller and villain, Razorbill was one of Ashfall's heroes who helped the kingdom survive the increasingly desperate situation they were in due to his ruthlessness and pragmatism. Unfortunately, those very traits were what made him a monster in Angel Vale without the background of a post-apocalyptic wasteland to make them valuable assets.
* SerialKiller: As in ''VisualNovel/AngelsWithScalyWings'', his primary targets were Dragons. He claims it's to save his own kingdom of Ashfall from certain destruction, but his murders were actually fueled by cowardice and anti-Dragon racism, as evidenced by his willingness to steal a clutch of unhatched Dragon eggs with intention to raise them as slaves. Fortunately, Dove manages to save all his victims in the final loop.
* TheUnreveal: Razorbill was racist to dragons to the point of willing to murder some, steal their tech and leave the rest to die in a volcanic eruption, and he was mentally unstable to boot, but no one knows the exact reasons as to ''why'', and it appears no one really cares in the end [[ThisIsUnforgivable after everything]] [[NoSympathy he did]]. When a subordinate of Ashfall's provisional ruling council searched Razorbill's home following his execution and [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/900966875/4964029042 claimed]] he found out why, his boss told him to forget about it, as no reason would had justified Razorbill's crimes, so Razorbill might as well not have one - he's an insane racist murderer, and that's all that matters. Out of universe, this is because the prequel comic to the game is still ongoing and promises to reveal Reza's.
* WeaponOfXSlaying: His sword, ''Draig Gwaed'', is a Dragon-slaying sword from the Time of Broken Scales, and very good at doing so, even in the hands of a normal mortal like him. However, its enchantments are entirely tailored to this, meaning it's great at fighting dragons, [[CripplingOverspecialization but just okay at fighting anything else]]. It's also a Changeling-made weapon whose enchantments are specifically designed to be used only by Changelings, so any non-Changeling who uses it gets mutated.
* WreckedWeapon: During the FinalBattle, Dove and his friends manage to overload and damage ''Draig Gwaed'' to the point it explodes, shattering it to pieces. Dove also destroys his mechanical leg during their one-on-one fight, putting him more at a disadvantage and leaving him vulnerable to Dove's NoHoldsBarredBeatdown.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Razorbill is ''very'' well suited to the post apocalyptic wasteland Ashfall had become, but he tried to apply the qualities that made him perfectly adjusted to that world to the peaceful, friendly Angel Vale. Combined with other psychological issues, this resulted in him becoming a monster.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Honeyguide, the 'Great Saviour'/False Ambassador]]

Honeyguide (introduced in [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5075014602 this drabble]]) is an Ashfall pony who would develop a massive grudge on Shining Dove out of envy, leading to her hatching a plot to replace him in the memories and place of everyone in Angel Vale and Ashfall with the help of Zahmen and a mysterious powerful tome.

----
* AppleOfDiscord: The reason she was an ambassador when Ashfall was still a post-apocalyptic wasteland: she was very skilled at turning raider groups against each other and causing infighting among them, both of which helped protect Ashfall from destruction.
* ArchEnemy: Became one for Shining Dove, especially after her initial plot was foiled and she later escaped custody to threaten him and the Angel's Six at later dates.
* AssInAmbassador: She's an awful ambassador by any metric, being an entitled, jealous, narcissistic and petty excuse of a mare who wanted the glory and fame Shining Dove received which she felt deserved. The fact that she wouldn't have the character to negotiate and then save Angel Vale with may be a reason why she was not only passed over for the job initially, but also [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5075119117 ensued]] her memory-rewriting plot failed when everybody realised she would never had done all the things Shining Dove did, breaking everyone out of the spell she put them under.
* BackstoryInvader: She found an ancient artifact called the Torquem Memorias and used it to first write herself into the Angel's Six's story slowly until she completely took it over.
* BigBadDuumvirate: She forms a VillainTeamUp with Zähmen to become the main antagonists of the Angel Vale Retcons event.
* DecompositeCharacter: She's based off the Evil Ending version of the Ambassador from the game, split off from Dove, combined with the implied female ambassador mentioned in the True Ending who 'wasn't a good person' (who is implied to have done the Evil Ending if the player didn't).
* DivideAndConquer: She intentionally wrote her 'story' so that the Angel's Six were alienated from both herself and each other. The former to have all the glory for herself, the latter so that they couldn't come together against her.
* EntitledBastard: As pointed out by one of the Angel Six, Honeyguide at her core feels that she deserves/is entitled to glory, regardless of whether or not she's actually earned it.
* EvilIsPetty: She hates Dove solely for getting the glory she personally feels entitled to. As such, she ends up forming a VillainTeamup with Zähmen to use an ancient artifact to try and 'steal their happy ending' out of jealousy. She also went out of her way to be a jerk to the Angel's Six and making their lives miserable as much out of spite as it is to keep them down and isolated from each other.
* FluffyTheTerrible: Honeyguide doesn't exactly sound like the name of a sociopathic, life-stealing monster. Less so when you learn that [[MeaningfulName it's the name for a species]] of [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honeyguide avian brood parasites]].
* GreenEyedMonster: Honeyguide was another candidate for Ashfall's ambassador to Angel Vale, but was passed over for Shining Dove. She envies him for getting everything she personally feels entitled to. One thing that sets off her VillainousBreakdown is being told she's ''not'' Dove and that's why her plans are falling apart.
* GodIsDispleased: Honeyguide managed to absolutely ''[[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5075362893 piss off]]'' Dragon Queen Tiamat for trying to 'steal' her children, violated their minds, and doing all this with strength which did not belong to herself (which is a big affront to her worldview). She responded not only with a massive TheReasonYouSuckSpeech via an apparition (which exposed her identity to any Dracosaur and Pony nearby), but also by having her marked for death - literally, with a MarkOfTheSupernatural which made any Dragon who sees or smells it know what she did and an enemy of all Dragonkind - and vowing to eat her if any of her mortal children ever capture her alive and bring her to Tiamat.
* HilaritySues: Subjected to a spectacular case of this after her plot was foiled. On top of criminal charges, she ended up [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5075137858 being sued]] for various Torts by 'virtually everyone in Angel Vale and Ashfall who could afford the time and money to do so' and countless more from beyond the islands for all the distress and disruption her rewriting of memories and taking the two islands into a PocketDimension inevitably caused. By the time she escaped custody the amount of damages being claimed (minus the lawyers fee, the ones thrown out of court and the ones who chose to settle) clocked at ''427 BILLION'' Angel Vale dollars.
* {{Jerkass}}: She's based off the Evil Ending version of the Ambassador, and thus a selfish, entitled jerk who can't resist being cruel and mean.
* KillHimAlready: Inverted example. In the drabble below, she screams at the Angel's Six to kill her...to stop their HurricaneOfPuns she's enduring.
* MeaningfulName: Honeyguides are brood parasites like cuckoos. Her ultimate plan is to replace Shining Dove as the hero of his story.
* MindRape: What the mass manipulation of memories across Angel Vale and Ashfall by her and Zahmen is perceived as, which absolutely pissed ''everybody'' off after the spell was broken by the Angel's Six.
* {{Narcissist}}: Aerri calls Honeyguide a 'clinical narcissist,' and she has all the hallmarks. She believes herself to be far greater than she really is, is self-absorbed and wants everything to revolve around her, she feels [[EntitledBastard entitled to glory]], doesn't take criticism or things not going her way well, and questioning her value throws her into a narcissistic rage. This spells her downfall, as having holes punched in her story, being called a fraud, and realizing the Angel's Six somehow broke her curse drives her into a narcissistic rage that results in her exposing herself to all of Angel Vale.
* NeverMyFault: Like Razorbill, she never blames herself for her duplicity being unravelled and then being turned into a rampaging chimerical monster by the Angel's Six, instead blaming them for 'ruining' her and trying to kill them at the climax of the story.
* OhCrap: Towards the climax of the Angel Vales Retcon arc she experiences a slow-burning version of this, as she realises increasing numbers of Dracosaurs and Ponies on both islands were spotting discrepencies and waking up to the lie she weaved using the tome. Then she experiences another one right after she was exposed and the spell was (mostly) dispelled, seeing the audience of a speech she was going to give becoming an angry mob out for her blood after realising she had been violating their minds to rewrite their memories.
* OneWingedAngel: When she's defeated, she accidentally triggers the Torquem Memorias' contingency program for when it detects a threat to its existence. This results in it mutating her into a chimeric abomination of pony, parasitoid wasps and brood parasite avians which proceeded to rampage across Angel's Throne, trying to destroy the Angel's Six.
* OrwellianRetcon: Memory-altering versions. Her plot is to use an ancient magical tome to gradually rewrite the memories of everyone in Angel Vale and Ashfall so that she would end up taking Shining Dove's place as the hero and get all the glory and fame which came with it. However, the tome's power had limits, such as not able to rewrite the memories of the entire planet, and the spell could break if the affected individuals notice there are 'holes' in the altered memories which doesn't make sense. It eventually fails completely as everybody began realising the altered memories are false and realise they had been magically duped, breaking the spell.
* PocketDimension: While likely unintended, the tome she used to rewrite memories phased both Angel Vale and Ashfall out of reality and into a pocket dimension where she could take her time to rewrite memories without outside world interference or allowing the locals to cross-reference with the rest of the world. This unfortunately [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/923799133/5075130554 caused]] its own problems as even the tome's considerable power is limited and could not alter the memories of the rest of the world to hide the fact ''two islands completely disappeared'' into thin air, leaving a lot of people beyond Equus (such as Angel's Six's [[PapaWolf adoptive parents]] and foreign friends) shocked, confused, distressed and then angry when her plot failed and the islands returned.
* {{Revenge}}: Is left with nothing but this after she was exposed, foiled and arrested for her crimes, which drives her persistent antagonism against Shining Dove and the rest of the Angel's Six after she escaped custody.
* RewritingReality: Using the Torquem Memorias, she gains the ability to rewrite the memories and to some extent reality within Angel Vale and Ashfall to replace the Angel's Six as the savior of both nations.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: Once she was turned into a chimerical monster the size of a small kaiju by Torquem Memorias after she was exposed, she rampaged across Angel's Throne trying to kill the Angel Six for 'ruining everything' and turning her into a monster, [[NeverMyFault nevermind the latter was her own damn fault and that of her book]].
* VillainousBreakdown: Has one as the Angel Six [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5075119117 break free of the ancient artifact she used to try and rewrite their memories]]. [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5075124689 And then to make things worse]], she was forced to endure a book, paper and ambassador-themed HurricaneOfPuns from vindictive members of Angel Vale and Ashfall as she is being arrested which drove her to such apoplectic narcissistic rage she started ''frothing in the mouth'' and then passed out from sheer anger.

[[folder:Torquem Memorias ('''Unmarked Spoilers''')]]
The Torquem Memorias is an ancient tome created by Prime Grimoire capable of rewriting memories on country wide scales and limited RewritingReality. While at first appearing to just be an ArtifactOfDoom, it's revealed to be sapient at the finale of the Angel Vale Retcons
----
* ArtifactOfDoom: The Torquem Memorias is an ancient tome predating Known History and capable of rewriting memories on country wide scales and trapping entire countries in a pocket reality. It's also sapient.
* TheFinalTemptation: When Sakit begins using its power in a gambit to make it help destroy itself, it tries to tempt them with the power to rewrite the two countries so no one ever mistreated them for being a hermaphrodite and take revenge on their tormentors. Fortunately, this fails.
* GreaterScopeVillain: It turns out it's the cause of ''The Breezewing Conspiracy'', as Stormfront used it to erase Breezewing and their teammates from history in order to steal their accomplishments for himself.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Sakit uses its power to write a weakness into it so it can be destroyed.
* ItCanThink: After Honeyguide is exposed, the Torquem Memorias begins to speak, revealing itself to be sapient.
* PhlebotinumBreakdown: It's revealed Honeyguide's usage of it was too much even for it, in part due to the collective PastLifeMemories of both countries making it ''far'' more difficult than normal, but also the ''scope'' of Honeyguide's 'story.' As such, when the spell was broken, it overloaded and blew up the case she kept it in.
* RewritingReality: The Torquem Memorias is capable of allowing its user to rewrite reality to a limited extent to make its story more believable. Notably, these effects can last hundreds of years bare minimum, and do not fade if the book itself is destroyed.

* CorneredRattlesnake: They realize that Beckoning Raven and the Flock of Reckoning have them cornered with no real chance of escape. They decide to fortify and prepare for a LastStand. They end up putting up ''far'' more of a fight than Raven ever anticipated, and thankss to unexpected backup, actually ''win''.
* LastStand: When faced with Beckoning Raven and the Flock of Reckoning, they decided to set a trap and fight to the bitter end so they could show all of Ashfall they didn't fear him and [[TakingYouWithMe take as many of them with them as possible]] if they didn't win. Fortunately, thanks to unexpected backup, they ''won''.

\
DJ Meadowlark Bloom (her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Angel-Vale-Notable-Individuals-923799133 here]]) is an Ashfaller DJ who dedicated herself to keeping people's hopes up despite the wasteland they now live in.
----
* BadassBoast: She gives one to [[ArchEnemy Beckoning Reaven]] while revealing they lured him into a trap.
--> '''Meadowlark Bloom:''' You see this place? This whole place is MY studio. You might be a king out there in the wastes, but here? The DJ is queen. And you know what we Grits always say: '''Gods save the queen.'''
* CruelMercy: When she has Beckoning Raven at her mercy, she chooses to spare his life, though not out of compassion. She did it because the most effective way to destroy him and his entire worldview is to have him put in a cell, where he would see Ashfall turn from the CrapsackWorld he loved into a functioning, peaceful society.
--> '''Meadowlark Bloom:''' That'd be the easy way out, Raven! You don't deserve it! This world of desperation you love so much?! You're going to see it end, then live the rest of your life in a cell! THAT is what you deserve!
* HappilyAdopted: She and Noble Falcon are adopted by Gemma after the whole disaster is over with.
* HeroicLinage: She and her family are distant descendants of Clover Bloom's family.

Colonel Gemma (her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Angel-Vale-Notable-Individuals-923799133 here]]) is a female Griffoness and retired soldier from the Duskfall Armed Forces who ended up becoming an apocalypse survivor.
----
* MamaBear: When Beckoning Raven tries to hold her daughter hostage during the FinalBattle with him. Gemma pulls him away from Alfajiri and beat the crap out of him with her military training to the point of fracturing his ribs. She only didn't finish him off because she had a pre-existing arrow wound.
* TeamMom: She eventually becomes the motherly figure to the crew, and actually ends up adopting Meadowlark and Noble Falcon.

!!The Flock of Reckoning

[[folder:General]]
* ArmyOfThievesAndWhores: The Flock of Reckoning massive army of raiders and scavengers who were united under Beckoning Raven via his sheer charisma and brutality.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Beckoning Raven]]
Beckoning Raven (first introduced [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5089626343 here]]) is the Flock of Reckoning's leader and one of Ashfall's most vile raiders.
----
* ArchEnemy: He's DJ Meadowlark's nemesis, viewing her HopeBringer status as a persona afront to him and his worldview.
* BigBad: He's the main villain of DJ Meadowlark's story. Turns out due to the ''massive'' threat he posed, he was pretty much this to Ashfall as a whole.
* {{Expy}}: He is based on Negan from ''ComicBook/TheWalkingDead'', being brutal yet charismatic characters who became leaders of the largest post-apocalyptic in their respective settings. They also rule through terror and fear, believing that people ''need'' them in order to survive a CrapsackWorld.
* HeroKiller: He murdered Barn Owl, a member of Bloom Radio Station, and came close to killing the entire group before being defeated.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Meadowlark manages to take his own barbwire-covered baseball bat and break both his front legs with it, permanently crippling him.
* OhCrap: He is understandably taken entirely off guard when the Bloom Radio Station crew revealed they'd [[spoiler:turned aerofighter weapons into turrets on their walls]] and lured him into a trap.
* WastelandWarlord: He's noted to likely be ''the'' most dangerous of the many Raider warlords in Ashfall.
[[/folder]]

!!Ashfall Raiders

[[folder:General]]
* MookHorrorShow: When Fremder gets shot, the battle becomes ''significantly'' more violent and brutal, with more raiders explicitly being killed.
* TheRemnant: They're the last of the gangs that plagued Ashfall before Angel Vale emerged and helped them reclaim the wasteland.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Cold Snap]]
One of the Ashfall raiders who attacked the Cherub Cove Hatcheries. A cut above his comrades, he and two others proved a surprising challenge
for the heroes.
----
* ArchEnemy: From [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/941757179/5073639468 numerous]] [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/942663776/5076029075 Drabbles]] following the Cherub Cove Hatcheries Raid, it's implied Cold Snap will become something of a persistent antagonist for Researcher Trio member Mirthful Stone.
* BadassNormal: He did manage to survive to adulthood in a post-apocalyptic hellscape, with no special abilities beyond what a Pegasus might have.
* CameBackStrong: The 'Zebrican Gate Concert Incident' [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/941757179/5073639468 showed]] he not only escaped prison during chaos of the 'Fiendish Uprising' incident the previous day, but thanks to a mysterious patron had inexplicably became much more dangerous through dark magic, posing a challenge to Mirthful Stone even after the Qilin had gained much more experience, weapons, magic and boons over the last few days.
* EliteMooks: Part of a trio of Ashfall raiders who lead their own squads, and got more focus in-story than the other kidnappers. Cold Snap even got a one-on-one duel with Mirthful Stone, which the latter only won by a hair's breadth.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Even he [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/941757179/5073641667 thinks]] Mirthful is [[YoureInsane crazy]] when he found out Mirthful made a weapon out of the pieces of an EldritchAbomination.
* HumongousMecha: For his [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/942663776/5076029075 third fight]] with Mirthful, he revealed he managed to get himself a Warzoid like Mirthful did.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Gets a spear jammed through his wing by Mirthful Stone as a finisher. It's later revealed this crippled him for life, and he'll never fly again.
* PragmaticVillainy: Waves off the fight with Mirthful Stone to shove the baby dragon he kidnapped in a storage locker so they won't be hurt by crossfire. When Mirthful brings this up, Cold Snap bluntly says it was because "the job" needed the whelps unharmed.
* YoureInsane: Cold Snap [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/941757179/5073641667 thinks]] Mirthful is out of his mind during their second fight when Mirthful brought out an improvised sword made with pieces of an ''EldritchAbomination'', which incidentally had the power to harm him in spite of his empowerment.
--> '''Cold Snap:''' [[[EvenEvilHasStandards Horrified]]] You're a gods-damned ''maniac!''
--> '''Mirthful Stone:''' [[ShutUpHannibal Hard to be sane]] in this [[DeathWorld crazy world]]!
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rebar]]
Another Hatchery raider who proved more capable than his cohorts.
----
* BadassNormal: Like his cohorts, he survived in a volcanic nightmare realm to adulthood with no special magic or powers.
* EliteMooks: Leads a small team of raiders in the Hatchery attack, and proves harder to take down than his comrades. Like Cold Snap, he got into a duel with one of the Researcher Trio, namely Jade Shell.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wire Cutter]]
The third notable raider. Weaker than his two comrades, but still above the average thug.
----
* BadassNormal: Weaker though he was, he's still alive after growing up in post-eruption Ashfall.
* EliteMooks: Gets [[MauveShirt notable focus, a name]], and leads a gaggle of raiders that gave the heroes a good chase before they were cornered.
* ManOnFire: Gets set alight by Mirthful Stone, making him drop the baby dragon he'd nabbed (the fire [[ExploitedImmunity just made the whelp giggle]]). When the kids were safe, Wire Cutter and his goons were extinguished and captured.
* OhCrap: Has this reaction when Mirthful tosses a Molotov cocktail at him and his fellow raiders.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Spring Trigger]]
A Pegasus mare sharpshooter who took part in the raid.
----
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: When Fremder visited the prison after the Fiendish Uprising, she ignored [[AbusiveParent Lauffeuer]] in favor of chatting with Spring Trigger. Fremder's reasoning was that Spring trying to kill her was ''still'' more thought than her father ever gave her. When Lauffeuer was left in shock, the raider found this hilarious.
--> '''Spring Trigger:''' "Damn kid, and I thought ''I'' shot through the heart!"
* EvilIsPetty: The reason she shot Fremder? Spite. The raiders were already cornered and their plan basically failed. Spring took the shot just to make sure the Dragons "wouldn't get satisfaction" in winning.
* WouldHurtAChild: Didn't hesitate for a second to shoot a baby dragon out of spite.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Iron Hoof]]
An Earth Pony stallion and Ashfall raider.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Arcane Spark]]
A Unicorn mare and Ashfall raider.
----
