This is ''Survivor: Edge of Extinction''. And like all seasons of Survivor, spoilers are going to be unmarked. Proceed with caution.
%%* Please do not bring personal feelings towards the players into the character sheets, even if those feelings are backed by other fans on social media. That is what YMMV is for. Only use examples from the game, or information from the players themselves on social media, in here. And please keep the writing as neutral as possible.

!The Tribes

[[folder: Kama]]
* HoldingOutForAHero: Joe does all the major work for the tribe, from fishing to challenge wins; and the rest of the tribe has no real issue with that.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Manu]]
* EarnYourHappyEnding: The original Manu members suffered greatly in the tribal portion of the game, as every pre-merge boot aside from Aubrey came from their original ranks. Things ultimately turned around when both of the Edge returnees ended up coming from their tribe, including the eventual winner and the fallen angel (the latter of whom would've won if he hadn't lost in the firemaking challenge).
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Lesu]]
Due to bad luck during the tribe shuffle, Lesu is simply the original Manu without Wendy.

* FailureHero: They only won one challenge during their existence.
* TotalPartyKill: None of them made it to the Final Three.

-> '''Tribe''': Manu
-> '''Age''': 25
-> '''From''': Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
-> '''Occupation''': District Sales Manager
----
* AllOrNothing: His move in the final 4 fire making challenge, he risked his own immunity to take out his biggest competition, Devens.
* BackFromTheDead: Chris returns to the final 6 from Edge of Extinction.
* TheBigGuy: He's probably the most dominant physical player on his tribe.
* CameBackStrong: He was voted out due to his less than impressive strategy very early on, but after coming back, he manages to subtly and systematically wipe out all of the power players in the game AND audaciously challenges the frontrunner to a firemaking challenge and wins, securing his victory.
* DarkHorseVictory : The guy who got voted out 3rd for being TooDumbToLive manages to win the entire game.
* {{Determinator}}
* DiabolusExMachina: Wound up becoming this for damn near everyone, as when he came back into the game he took out all of the power players while simultaneously making the two he took to Final Three look like idiots, effectively guaranteeing his win.
* GagPenis: You'd be forgiven for thinking he was hiding an Idol.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: He mentions his social skills and time with the jury as being reason enough for him to win.
* LooseLips: He and his alliance had a solid plan to blindside Kelley, but him blabbing about to Wardog resulting in him getting voted out.
* MrFanservice
* NonProtagonistResolver: He can be seen as this as he spent much of the season voted out, only to come in at the very end and defeat the apparent protagonist of the season and win the whole game.
* RagsToRiches: Downplayed. He went from being a barista to being the top salesman in his company in less than a year.
* TooDumbToLive: Chris was part of a coalition led by David to blindside Kelley. Despite the fact that his Alliance had the numbers, he decided to approach Wardog, Kelley's ally, to bring him into the vote. Instead, Wardog conspired with other members of the tribe to blindside Chris instead.
* WinsByDoingAbsolutelyNothing: Played with. While there could be arguments that Chris didn't have to work hard to get to the end and win, at least compared to the people who were not on the Edge of Extinction, Chris had built social bonds on EoE, fought against ten other competitors for a chance to get back into the game, and quickly built a respectable resume by taking out the three biggest threats in the game with bold and gutsy moves that ''could'' have backfired on him.
* WoundedGazelleGambit: How he tricks Lauren into burning her idol. He pretended to be spent and exhausted from his tribe on Edge of Extinction, appealing to her compassion to trick her into playing her idol for him when he only got one vote.

-> '''Occupation''': YMCA Program Director
----
* ADayInTheLimelight: He gets more focus after he wins individual immunity and then hatches a plan with his new alliance to blindside David.
* AlwaysSecondBest: Poor Gavin constantly comes in second in immunities, almost never gets the credit for strategic moves despite being a major part of them, and even lost to Chris despite spending more time in the game than him.
* AscendedExtra: He was practically a living prop in the premerge, only to suddenly skyrocket in visibility and become the runner-up.
* AscendedFan: He listens to the theme song while he showers.
* TheLeader: He took over as leader of the Kama alliance after ousting Ron, even though Victoria did most of the legwork.
* NoDamageRun: Gavin is the only player in the season not to have a single vote cast against him.
* OutOfFocus: Was largely in the background through the early portions of the season.
* SouthernGentleman
* TheyCalledMeMad: An interesting example: his biggest goal is not to be voted out first, just so he can prove his mom wrong about that.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Getting asked if he's still in high school is one of his pet peeves.
* MrFanservice : For a 23 year old he surely doesn't look bad.

-> '''From''': Baltimore, Maryland
-> '''Occupation''': Toymaker
----
* ActionMom: She won the first individual immunity challenge, even over ''[[TheAce Joe]]''.
* AscendedFan
* EveryoneHasStandards: She is utterly disgusted with the Lesu tribe for wanting to send Rick back to Edge of Extinction. She was also the only one to feel bad for Lauren fainting, while the rest of the Kamas were cheering on Victoria and Aurora was pressuring her to drop.
* HappilyMarried
* NervousWreck: Describes herself as not just neurotic, but ''definitely'' neurotic.
* SanitySlippage: The pressure of the game was causing her to collapse emotionally.
* TookALevelInBadass: Episode 11 saw Julie calmly accept Ron's betrayal, secretly ally herself with Lauren, scheming to vote out Wardog for being incredibly threatening and untrustworthy, and having her plans actually succeed. Compared to episode 9, where she had her breakdown over potentially being on the bottom, Julie certainly improved her game.
[[/folder]]

!Jury/On Island of Extinction

[[folder: Patrick William "Rick" Devens]]
[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rick_devens.PNG]]

-> '''Tribe''': Manu --> Lesu
-> '''Age''': 33
-> '''From''': Blacksburg, Virginia
-> '''Occupation''': Morning News Anchor
----
* AscendedFan
* BackFromTheDead: Came back to the game from being eliminated.
* ButtMonkey: The poor man just could not catch a break for the entirety of the game.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Despite his previous losing performance and being voted out because he wasn't as strong as Lauren, Rick still managed to beat out five other contestants, including the athletic Chris, and earn his way back from Edge of Extinction. He also managed to win four individual immunities in the post-merge, the most of anyone by a fair margin, and found three hidden immunity idols (not even counting the idol he was given when returning to the game).
* DecoyProtagonist: A very late game example, but Rick was set up as the frontrunner to win it all going into the finale, only for Chris to suddenly come in and do everything he was doing but better, causing Rick's ouster at Final Four.
* TheDogBitesBack: He ''rips'' into Wardog for thinking he would ever go back to Lesu after they just tried voting him out again. Unlike most examples, this ends up ''backfiring'' on Rick after Victoria, Gavin, Julia and Aurora side with the Lesu members, putting him at the bottom again.
* FamilyMan
* TheGadfly: Rick developed an over-the-top and wild personality in order to keep his fellow competitors on their toes.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With David.
* HiddenDepths: You wouldn't guess by his appearance, but Devens was an Eagle Scout.
* HonorBeforeReason: Giving back Chris' half-idol at the Final Five, which provided Chris the last boost he needed to survive until the Final Four Firemaking Challenge. Rick felt so guilty about blindsiding Chris in the tribal portion of the game that, after reconciling on the Edge, [[https://www.realitytvworld.com/news/exclusive-rick-devens-talks-survivor----i-thought-id-damage-chris-underwood-long-term-if-i-kept-his-idol-but-now-i-wish-id-screwed-him-over-25876.php Rick promised Chris]] that he would never turn on him if they both made it back into the game.
* TheLancer: He was initially this to David, but got voted out in episode four. He then returned from Edge of Extinction to return to that very position.
* LargeHam: Frequently goes into his news anchor persona when he's in danger, and sometimes when he's not.
* LastNameBasis: Similar to Cochran and several other Survivors before him, he is called by his last name generally.
* ObfuscatingInsanity: Part of Rick's playstyle as TheGadfly is to exhaust his opponents by acting like he lost his damn mind.
* TheSmartGuy: Among the Edge of Extinction crew, Rick is the one who figures out the first advantage clue and comes very close to solving the second.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: The manly man to David's sensitive guy.
* TrueCompanions: With David. Even when he had the opportunity to turn on David, he didn't have the heart to, and was left out of the David vote.

[[folder: Lauren Alexandra O'Connell]]

-> '''Age''': 21
-> '''From''': Bakersfield, California
-> '''Occupation''': Student
----
* AcademicAthlete: Plays soccer for Baylor University's varsity team, while pursuing a degree in Medical Humanities.
* ActionGirl: One of the toughest female players of the season.
* AdvantageBall: Found her tribe's Hidden Immunity Idol.
* AscendedFan: Two of her first soundbites in the premiere, before the returnees are revealed, are her talking about how much she loves Kelley and Joe.
* BreakTheBadass: Her tribe's losing streak and lack of food causes her to physically and mentally check out of the game.
* {{Determinator}}
* HeroicRROD: She collapsed during an Immunity Challenge when her body gave out on her due to malnutrition.
* TheLancer: She acts as Kelly's number two vote.
* MsFanservice: She’s a beautiful young woman and provides a good portion of the season’s fanservice.
* NiceGirl: She's probably one of the nicest girls on Manu.
* [[RealMenLoveJesus Real Women Love Jesus]]
* TragicMistake: Lauren had a solid set-up and a good chance of winning no matter what her final three looked like, but her game was completely undone by her letting Chris trick her into burning her idol, leaving her defenseless when both he and Devens used their own idols and she got taken out by two votes.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Victoria Lisa Baamonde]]
[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/victoria_baamonde.PNG]]

-> '''Tribe''': Kama --> Manu
-> '''Age''': 23
-> '''From''': The Bronx, New York
-> '''Occupation''': Waitress
----
* AscendedFan: She name drops the [[https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page Survivor Wiki Fandom page]] when describing why she's like Malcolm Freberg.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: In the first four episodes of the game, Victoria came across as being not particularly bright. However, once it was time to actually play the game in episode 5, Victoria managed to organize Aubry's blindside while convincing Aubry that she was safe. Happens again when both Lauren and herself hatch a plan to get out kingpin Ron, showing she is most certainly ObfuscatingStupidity.
* DidntSeeThatComing: Victoria's game was completely undone by Chris' return to the game. Due to not knowing him very well and knowing he was voted out third, she completely underestimated him and let him fool her into thinking he was on board with the plan to vote out Devens. However, Chris had a secret alliance with Rick and voted her out before she even knew what happened.
* TheDitz: She tends not to come across as particularly intelligent. Her wondering how someone even begins to search for an idol while everyone else is searching for idols is a particularly notable instance. But [[ObfuscatingStupidity given that she organized Aubry’s blindside and later helped Lauren get rid of Ron, her ditziness is apparently just an act.]]
* FieryRedhead: Flaming read hair, and can be quite the fighter.
* MsFanservice: Both the editors and the fans seem to have noticed her good looks.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Acts dense and WrongGenreSavvy which betrays a very cold and calculating woman.
* SmartGirl: Graduated valedictorian from her college with a 4.0 GPA. That alone should indicate [[ObfuscatingStupidity that she wasn't as dumb as she pretended to be.]]
* TakingYouWithMe: A failed case. After getting voted out, she made an excited show of support for Gavin, saying that she'd be voting for him in the Final 3. As she revealed afterwards, this was actually a form of revenge because she realized that Gavin hadn't voted with her in the way they had agreed (since she was the only person who wrote Chris' name down) and, assuming Gavin betrayed her in some way, wanted to put a target on his back and make him the focus of the next vote. It didn't work, though she did end up voting for Chris as the winner at FTC instead of him.
* TheStarscream: To Ron.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Andrea Aurora [=McCreary=]]]
[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aurora_mccreary.PNG]]

-> '''Tribe''': Kama
-> '''Age''': 32
-> '''From''': Pensacola, Florida
-> '''Occupation''': Divorce Lawyer
----
* AscendedFan
* FreudianExcuse: While she's definitely got an ego and a lack of empathy, these could be related to her growing up as a foster child with no [[FriendlessBackground friends]].
* IfItsYouItsOkay: Humorously admits that even though she's a lesbian, she is firmly on Team Joe.
* LipstickLesbian
* LooseLips: She unwittingly slipped the plan to blindside David in the middle of Tribal Council, prompting a live tribal that caused everyone to turn on her alliance.
* MsFanservice
* OutOfFocus: Outside from her confessional in Episode 1 about being gay and working with Joe she's barely in the show. That stops at Episode 8 after Joe went out.
* SoProudOfYou: Her personal claim to fame is that her birth mother told her she was proud of who she became before she died.
* TheSociopath: A bit of a stretch but she shown a complete [[LackOfEmpathy lack of empathy]] when Lauren blackout during the immunity challenge and doctors were checking on her, what does Aurora do and/or react at the moment? Tries to get Victoria to give her immunity and kept talking about being on the out.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Ronald Lyle "Ron" Clark]]
[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ron_clark.PNG]]

-> '''Tribe''': Kama
-> '''Age''': 46
-> '''From''': Chocowinity, North Carolina
-> '''Occupation''': Teacher
----
* AdvantageBall: Found a clue to an advantage at the marooning, which led him to find the Advantage Menu, which grants him the ability to steal a reward, have an extra vote, or a one-shot individual immunity, provided it's used before the third Tribal Council. Due to his tribe's winning streak, he never had to use it. It would come back in episode 11 when Ron gave it to Rick in order to screw with him, but while it didn't work, Rick still survived thanks to his hidden immunity idol.
* AscendedFan
* BackstabBackfire: Tried to pull a fast one on Devens and paid for it, with Lauren and Victoria voting for him. But his fate was truly sealed as soon as Rick played his idol.
* BecomingTheMask: He decided to pose as Joe's closest ally in order to lure him into a false sense of security, but ironically begins to get won over by Joe's endearing charm. Not enough for him not to blindside him, though.
* BigBad: Leads the Kama 6 Alliance and has a ruthlessly strategic mindset.
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: The one person he was loyal to was Julie. It was for this reason that Victoria and Lauren set him up as the back-up option to leave the game if Devens had an idol to save himself.
* TheCharmer: Ron has an easygoing air that naturally draws people to him.
* FalseFriend: To Joe. Ron deliberately presents himself as Joe's friend, but is secretly plotting to vote him out at his first opportunity. That is, until the final episode before the merge where Ron begins to realize he doesn't actually want to get rid of Joe. Then zigzagged at the merge, because Ron actually did want to work with Joe, but Joe's evasive behavior caused him to return to his original plan to take him out at the first opportunity.
* GracefulLoser: Despite claims of being a SoreLoser he holds no animosity towards the girls who got him out or Devens (who played the idol).
* HappilyMarried: To his sweet husband giving him similarities between newlywed Gavin and Julie who he chose to take on the reward. Unfortunately for [[RewardedAsATraitorDeserves him...]]
* TheLeader: Appears to be the leader of the Kama tribe.
* ManipulativeBastard: Ron uses the upcoming Loved Ones visit to control his tribe into complying with his commands.
* ManlyGay: Lacks many stereotypical traits of LGBTQ+ people, yet very clearly has a husband.
* SoreLoser: Self-described. Subverted by his eviction as the guy held no ill will towards anyone and even felt bad for leaving Rick out of the vote.
* SouthernGentleman
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Daniel Gomes "Dan" "Wardog" [=DeSilva=]]]
[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dan_desilva.PNG]]

-> '''Tribe''': Manu --> Lesu
-> '''Age''': 38
-> '''From''': Ossining, New York
-> '''Occupation''': Law Student/Former Military
----
* AntiHero: Wardog is a ruthless schemer and manipulator, but a lot of his gameplay has revolved around his loyalty to Wentworth. Now, he's more of an AntiVillain or TheStarscream having gotten the votes to evict the remaining two returning players. That being said, in the finale he was one of the biggest defenders of Chris alongside Julia pointing out it's not Chris' fault the theme allowed someone to come back.
* BackStab: David informed Chris of a plan to blindside Wentworth and told him not to tell Wardog. Chris defied that and told him anyways because they were allies... only for Wardog to join everyone else in voting him out.
** This happened with Kelley Wentworth too. Wardog pretended to be her shield, but when he realized there was no tribe alliances anymore, he quickly severed ties with both Wentworth and David.
* BackStabBackfire: After eliminating his ally Kelley for being a huge threat, Wardog himself was promptly voted out by his own allies after he betrayed and alienated them.
* ControlFreak: Wardog frequently dominates conversations and makes sure he always gets his way, an attitude that rubs his allies the wrong way.
* DragonInChief: Dictated almost all of his tribe's votes for a majority of the time he was in the game, but his focus was initially set on protecting Wentworth.
* AFatherToHisMen: He cites the young soldiers he served with as his biggest inspiration in life.
* FalseFriend: Somewhat to Kelley Wentworth. While he did like her, he knew he couldn't keep her around much longer and joined the remaining Kama in voting her out.
* FauxActionGuy: Wardog is a muscular and athletic man who served in the army - yet his challenge performances were absolutely ''abysmal'', unless the challenge involved swimming. The only times he ever won were due to David and Kelley being good with puzzles and him being in a group with actual strong players.
* FourStarBadass: [=DeSilva=] won a Bronze Star Medal for his service in Afghanistan.
* GracefulLoser: He took his vote out in good sportsmanship, congratulating the remaining players for doing so.
* LazyBum: An interesting example in that, according to his tribemates, Wardog spent all of his time scheming rather than helping out around camp.
* MrFanservice: In his own eyes, at least. He mentions having "a certain sex appeal that men my age haven't had" in his bio.
* TheManBehindTheMan: Victoria confirmed [[https://twitter.com/veebaamonde/status/1638277343138533396 on Twitter]] that Chris' legendary endgame was his idea, which goes a long way in explaining his vehement defense of him at Final Tribal Council.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: Despite being one of the more physically fit men in the game and being former military, he is extremely bad at physical challenges, particularly throwing ones. This is contrasted in the early game when he tried to throw others under the bus with the excuse of challenge strength even while he was one of the worst performers.
** Though he did have two very good performances in challenges that involved swimming. In the immunity challenge in episode 3, he was practically towing the boat by himself. In episode 5, he was the hero when he dove down and got the last piece of the puzzle after his other tribemates had all but given up, allowing them to have a come from behind victory.
* PaperTiger: Despite his tough appearance and name, he holds one of the all-time worst challenge records of any player, both in teams and individual challenges.
* RedBaron: "The [=WarDog=]".
* SmarterThanYouLook: He looks and acts like a meathead, but he's a very solid team player and molds his strategy to make his tribe and alliance better.
* TheStarscream: You knew it was coming the second David left... He pulls a YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness move on Kelley tricking her into thinking she was safe... and then backstabs her with her own alliance.
* TheStrategist: He functions as this for the Lesu Alliance, as he's usually the one planning their next move forward.
* TookALevelInBadass: While Wardog's social game before wasn't bad per se, it was the move of forming an alliance of 6 to get both David and Wentworth out, one after the other, that really propelled his gameplay.
* VillainHasAPoint: During his tirade at Gavin he correctly points out that Gavin has just been following the numbers the whole game and really did nothing to contribute except being an extra vote.

----
* AffablyEvil: Kelley is friendly and easy to get along with, but she's still a schemer who is prone to backstabbing.
* AscendedFan
* CallBack: One of her pet peeves is [[Characters/SurvivorSanJuanDelSur "people who think they're basically badasses."]]
* DespairEventHorizon: She crosses it just as it seems Lesu is going to lose another challenge in episode 5. However, the tribe actually manages to win, pulling her from the brink.
* EpicFail: Got blindsided by her closest ally Wardog, with an idol in her pocket. Seems to be a RunningGag with returnees this season.
* GlorySeeker: Very clear about being on the island to bring home the win this time.
* LastOfHerKind: Was the last returnee left in the game, after David's blindside.
* MsFanservice: As in her previous appearances.
* PuppetQueen: She's been set up and is convinced that she's the leader of her tribe, but in reality, even her allies plan to use her as a puppet, with some on the fringes preparing to blindside her.
* SoreLoser: After getting eliminated, she's extremely vindictive towards Wardog, even cheering when he was voted out.
* TallPoppySyndrome: Is being targeted early on for her fantastic showing in her previous season.
* UnfinishedBusiness: "I survived for 38 days last time. I think I can handle one more day."

* DoUntoOthersBeforeTheyDoUntoUs: Basically his motivation to get rid of Wentworth boils down to him knowing she will target him down the line eventually. And to the surprise of no one, she does.
* GuileHero: David relies on his charming personality and skill at making friends to get further in the game.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Devens.
* {{Irony}}: Not only was he [[CassandraTruth right]] about Wentworth targeting him, but the same person he tried to get out week after week was sent to Edge of Extinction immediately after him.
* NervousWreck: Self-described, and if anything only leaning further into the impression after his first appearance.
* NiceGuy: He gets along with everybody and is friends with everyone on the tribe.
* NiceJewishBoy: See NiceGuy above.
* SelfDeprecation: When asked what Survivor he's most like, he naturally cites himself, then says "that bald nerd just needs a hug."

----
* DeathByIrony: Eric and Ron used the looming Loved Ones visit in an effort to keep the remainder of the Kama tribe in line. However, he was blindsided by his own Alliance, ensuring that he would not make it to the Loved Ones visit.
* FamilyMan: He says the big reason he's on the show is to set an example for his sons. He also mentions that his youngest son, who is on the autism spectrum, is his biggest inspiration.
* TheGenericGuy: Eric's personality doesn't really stand out in comparison to some of his tribemates.
* HumbleHero: As he says in his bio, "I try to remember that 99.9 percent of the time I am NOT the smartest, coolest, most interesting, deserving, or important person in the room."
* TheLeader: Of Nu Manu.

* TheAce
* AscendedFan
* BrokenAce: This time around, Joe realizes he's entirely on his own in his tribe due to his skill making him an obvious target. The realization that he can't trust anyone causes a visible breakdown in episode 5.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Regarded as one of the most dangerous players in the game due to his charisma and challenge performance, Joe was the center of the spotlight on his tribe for the entire premerge. However, he loses the first Individual Immunity challenge at the merge, and his own tribe realizes that they'll never have a better opportunity to blindside him, so they take him out first.
* FatalFlaw: His inability to give anything less than 100% to any endeavor. The problem is, in ''Survivor'', those who stand out are the first to get cut out, and Joe himself notes he should be staying in the background, but can't bring himself not to give his all. Though see MortonsFork below.
* GameBreaker: Regarded as this by the other contestants. His abilities in challenges and camp life give his tribe a tremendous advantage, to the point where they did not have to attend one tribal before the merge. Wentworth even notes that his tribemates have essentially had a two week vacation thanks to his efforts.
* InSeriesNickname: "Joey Amazing".
* MortonsFork: Joe knew that performing well in challenges would put a huge target on his back, and was apprehensive about doing so. Yet his tribe knew what he's capable of, and would likely develop a grudge against him if he noticeably underperformed.
* MrFanservice
* OlderAndWiser: Hoping to take the lessons he learned from his first two appearances and put them into practice.

-> '''Previous Seasons''': ''Kaôh Rōng'', ''Game Changers''
----
* ButtMonkey: Once again, Aubry has a poor start to the game when she unwittingly alienates herself from the tribe by using obviously rehearsed lines with multiple people.
* {{Determinator}}: In response to the question "Why do you think you'll survive Survivor?" she responds, "because I'll never quit."
* EpicFail: Aubry got blindsided with an idol in her pocket and an extra vote advantage.
* FailureHero: As always, Aubry is unable to catch a single break, only this time, she isn't able to survive by the skin of her teeth like she did in past seasons.
* GreenThumb: Gardening is one of her listed hobbies, and she shows off her plants fairly often on Instagram.
* NoSocialSkills: An interesting variant on the trope in that Aubry is very social... but it becomes increasingly obvious that she scripts her own conversations ahead of time, and even reuses the same lines with different people. It only took three players comparing notes to realize what she was doing and put her on the outs.
* TrueCompanions: One of the three things she'd bring to the island would be [[Characters/SurvivorKaohRong Tai]] [[Characters/SurvivorGameChangers Trang]], her "Survivor soulmate."
* UnfinishedBusiness: Her biggest reason for returning is that she doesn't want ''Game Changers'' to be the end of her ''Survivor'' journey.

----
* AscendedFan
* BreakoutCharacter: Has consistently one of the greatest presences on the Edge of Extinction, despite being the first boot, and is responsible for most of the drama that occurs on the island.
* BrokenBird: You usually don't see a lot of interactions with someone eliminated incredibly early, but the Edge of Extinction allowed us to get into the psyche of somebody who, after spending so many years wanting the opportunity to be on the show, has that chance ripped away at the very first opportunity.
* TheCharmer
* CoolOldLady: The oldest woman on the cast.
* {{Determinator}}: The very first boot of the season, she ends up spending 32 days on the Edge of Extinction for the chance to return, failing on both attempts.
* HairTriggerTemper: Reem is prone to losing her temper very easily.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Her and Wendy helping Keith learn to swim early on separated them from the other six, one of the first steps in her being voted out first.
* TheResenter: She loathes Wenthworth and blames her for being the first booted.
* SoreLoser: She's extremely bitter about her elimination. Her fangs come out especially when Chris and Rick arrive on Edge of Extinction.
* VerbalTic: Has a habit of ending her sentences with "dude."

----
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Wendy may be a nut, but she is shockingly skilled in challenges.
* {{Determinator}}
* FatalFlaw: Stubbornness. Wendy will never change on her mind on anything, no matter how many people are against her or how obviously wrongheaded she is. Her attitude has rubbed pretty much the entire tribe the wrong way.
* DeathByIrony: In her Survivor biography pet peeves she says she hates quitters, guess what she ends up doing?
* HollywoodTourettes: Averted. A good bit of time in the premiere is dedicated to Wendy explaining her tics are mostly physical, not verbal.
* {{Hypocrite}}: She declares herself a protector of the tribe's chickens and conspires to prevent her tribe from eating them... even though she's not a vegetarian and is perfectly comfortable eating processed meat. It seems her only grievance is that she doesn't want to actually watch her food die. The tribe is not at all happy with her logic.
** After her voteout, she is seen visibly salivating at the prospect of eating a cheeseburger, despite declaring that she would become a vegetarian earlier in the season.
* LargeHam: She has a loud and bombastic personality.
* OutdoorsyGal
* UndyingLoyalty: Wendy is loyal to her allies to the end, even when she knows they are being voted out.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: She plots to release the tribe's chickens and hides the tribe's flint in order to ensure that the tribe can't eat the chickens, which she feels would be wrong to kill and eat for sustenance.

* AscendedFan: His knowledge is such that he notes in his bio that he's the youngest black castaway to ever play.
* BlackDudeDiesFirst: Along with Wendy,he quit on Day 17, and they were the first to be permanently eliminated
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Keith on the surface appears to be friendly and eager, but his time on Edge of Extinction have revealed him to be selfish, vindictive, and treacherous.
* ConflictKiller: Just as it seems certain that the vote will be between Kelly and Wendy, Keith's poor challenge performance forces everyone on the tribe to take him out to prevent further losses.
* FamilyHonor: His biggest motivation for playing is to improve his family's lot in life.
* GoshDangItToHeck: His reaction to being voted out: "Dang! Dang dang dang it!"
* KidHero: The youngest castaway on the season.
* TheMillstone: Keith is completely and utterly useless in physical challenges, to the point that his tribe had no choice but to vote him out.
* RealMenLoveJesus: Keith is also a youth pastor.
* SoreLoser: When blindsided, he muttered, "Y'all think you can win challenges now" to his tribe.
* TagalongKid: Deconstructed hard. His inability to contribute to the tribe's challenge strength due to being a tagalong gets him voted out second.
