Believe it or not, when Griffin [=McElroy=] first started composing music for ''Podcast/TheAdventureZone'', he was worried that fans wouldn't like it; but it's quickly become one of the most beloved elements of the podcast, and for good reason.
----
[[AC: [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/album/the-adventure-zone-the-crystal-kingdom-ost The Crystal Kingdom]]]]
* "Crystal Kingdom", sung by [[spoiler:Maureen Miller, Lucas' mother]] throughout the arc, is a hauntingly beautiful tune enhanced by its Music/{{Vocaloid}} singer.
* "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/a-far-friendlier-robot A Far Friendlier Robot]]" is a quiet, kindhearted tune that really gives off a vibe of gentle innocence, serving very well as the theme tune for N0-3113. [[spoiler: And it gets an absolutely tearjerking reprise during her HeroicSacrifice during Story and Song.]]
* "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/robot-rematch Robot Rematch]]" is a quick theme with an almost sinister undertone, perfectly fitting for [[spoiler: the boys rematch with their previously defeated foes Magic Brian, Jenkins and Marvey, now in robot bodies]].
* "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/leaving-the-lab A Candlenights Miracle!]]" is a great send-off for the arc, feeling like both a wonderful Chri—[[InsistentTerminology Candlenights]] carol and a triumphantly peaceful come-down after all of the craziness of the arc.

[[AC: [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/album/the-adventure-zone-the-eleventh-hour-ost The Eleventh Hour]]]]
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/no-dogs-on-the-moon No Dogs on the Moon!]]", a cheerful, bouncy tune that perfectly sets the tone for adventuring downtime. (Complete with dog bark sound effects!) During the BeachEpisode of "The Stolen Century", it gets a guitar-based cover in "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/no-dogs-on-the-beach No Dogs on the Beach!]]".
* [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/roswell Roswell]]", leitmotif for the character of the same name, goes hand in hand with the Western feel of the adventure.
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/the-purple-worm The Purple Worm]]" from the adventure's climax is suitably tense and exciting for the ending to such a dramatic arc. It sets the mood perfectly. [[spoiler:It gets a TriumphantReprise when the Purple Worm comes back to defeat one of the Judges in the finale.]]
* "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/the-diary-of-sheriff-isaak The Diary of Sheriff Isaak]] starts off quiet and builds up in exact sync with the story. The ending combined with Griffin's narration is enough to give anyone chills and it's timed flawlessly.
* "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/the-clock-strikes-noon-apocalypse The Clock Strikes Noon (Apocalypse)]]" is a short but badass track built around the sound of a clock striking noon. The tension of the song makes the already [[Awesome/TheAdventureZone awesome]] ending of the arc's second episode that much better.
* "[[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/the-chalice The Chalice]]" is a somewhat melancholy piano track, playing between scenes of them scanning through their life as they see things that could've been changed. In ''The The Adventure Zone Zone'', Griffin mentions it being one of his favorites.
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/disrobed Disrobed]]", the music that plays as Magnus [[spoiler:discovers the drawing of [[WhamShot himself as a Red Robe]]]]; incredibly mysterious and building up to a beautiful peak, the song is absolutely perfect for one of the biggest [[TheReveal reveals]] in the show.
* The unidentified song that plays when Julia appears in Magnus' flashback in episode 48 is simple but breathtaking, compounding what was already a massive TearJerker of a scene.[[note]]Admittedly, it's possible it isn't an original piece, as the song doesn't appear on the soundtrack or Griffin's [=SoundCloud=] account.[[/note]]

[[AC: [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/album/the-adventure-zone-the-suffering-game-ost The Suffering Game]]]]
* Somber and heartbreaking, [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/20-years-gone Twenty Years Gone]] matches the serious mood of the scene it plays in to a T. Even heard on its own, [[TearJerker the sadness it conveys is palpable.]]
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/battle-axe-proficiency Battle Axe Proficiency]]" manages to be beautifully sweet and melancholy at the same time, perfectly reflecting the happy memories Merle is being forced to give up.
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/arms-outstretched Arms Outstretched]]" is a slow, poignant song that plays as [[spoiler:Magnus's soul is pulled out of his body into the Astral Plane]]... but eventually transitions into a triumphant, upbeat melody when [[spoiler:Taako and Merle work together to pull a BigDamnHeroes [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome and bring him back to the Prime Material Plane]]. It eventually gets one hell of a TriumphantReprise in the finale ''Story and Song'' when the gang lands the final blow on [[FinalBoss John]]]].
* After a draining, tragic arc, "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/wonderland-round-three Wonderland: Round Three]]" makes for a perfect, rousing finale.
-->''[[SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound Three. Two. One. Let's go.]]''

[[AC: [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/album/journeys-end-music-from-the-adventure-zone Journey's End]] (Reunion Tour, The Stolen Century, Story and Song)]]
* The eponymous "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/reunion-tour Reunion Tour]]" is a slow, atmospheric song that sets the scene of the calm before the storm preceding the final arcs. If you listen carefully, you can hear strains of [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/a-lunar-interlude a Lunar Interlude]].
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/assault-on-the-moonbase Assault on the Moon Base]]" is a frenetic banger that perfectly captures the tension of this arc. And the addition of the vocal elements give it a somber feeling reminiscent of Creator/LinManuelMiranda's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hA_-0WFV0I Valley Forge]].
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/the-capital-city The Capital City]] brings together the mechanical refrains of [[spoiler: the TAZ Nights theme]] and a DarkReprise of "Reunion Tour" that plays as [[spoiler:Lup begs the other heroes not to destroy the TAZ: Nights world to stop the Hunger from getting it]].
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/no-dogs-on-the-beach No Dogs on the Beach!]]" is a guitar-based reprise of and CallBack to "No Dogs on the Moon!".
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/parley Parley]]" is a slow, ominous reprise of the intro theme that doubles as John's VillainSong, playing as [[spoiler:Merle [[DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu engages in conversation]] with [[BigBad the Hunger]]]].
* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YOQumdQQIs Cabala]]", by Music/MortGarson, is a truly haunting and otherworldly organ refrain, instilling a visceral sense of dread. Perfect for the theme of the godlike Judges.
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/forgetting Forgetting]]" perfectly captures the desperation of the Red Robes [[spoiler:losing their memories]], including snippets from "Wonderland: Round Three" and highly reminiscent of "Reunion Tour".
* "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/lucretia Lucretia]]" is a heartbreaking reprise of "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/madam-director Madam Director]]".
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeFGfulFWPY Voidfish (Plural)]], by Rachel Rose Mitchell, is a haunting song based on the Voidfish's "E.G.G.B.A.B.E." refrain that plays over scenes of the people of Faerûn being inspired by [[spoiler:Johann's "March of the Forgotten" to fight back against the Hunger]].
* [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/the-starblaster The Starblaster]] is an intense, fast-paced beat, mixing together the themes of "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/assault-on-the-moon-base Assault on the Moon Base]]" and "[[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/disrobed Disrobed]]", that plays during [[spoiler: Davenport's masterful piloting of the Starblaster against the tendrils of the Hunger as they try to enter it and cast Lucretia's spell]].
* [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/lucretia-reprise Lucretia (Reprise)]], a [[TriumphantReprise triumphant version]] of the Director's theme playing over [[spoiler: Tres Horny Boys charging in one last time against the Hunger to let Lucretia finish her spell and seal it off for good]].
* [[https://iamreeder.bandcamp.com/track/julia Julia]] by Reeder is a beautifully warm soft piano tune that plays [[spoiler: when Magnus reunites with his wife Julia in the afterlife. It's a real TearJerker]].
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CSqnI67LEM Music to Soothe the Savage Snake Plant]] by Music/MortGarson, the final song of the final episode of ''Balance''. It's a beautiful, ethereal tune that accompanies the Voidfish's search for a new planet to inhabit in the DistantFinale, and gives perfect closure to the arc.

[[AC: Other]]
* The [[https://griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/track/bonus-fantasy-costco-jingle Fantasy Costco jingle]] is ''incredibly'' catchy.
* [[https://soundcloud.com/griffinmcelroy/jeff-angels-theme Jeff Angel's theme]], composed for the ''Live Boston Stunt Spectacular''. [[spoiler:It's just "[[Wrestling/JohnCena My Time Is Now]]" with a trumpet soundfont.]]
* During the ''Live in Austin!'' event, Tres Horny Boys fight against [[spoiler: [[TheDogWasTheMastermind Brody]]]] to the tune of [[VideoGame/{{Persona 4}} "The Almighty."]]
* While not technically an original composition, Travis and Justin's impromptu cover of [[Music/BarenakedLadies "One Week"]] during their Austin live show, in perfect sync, [[http://occidentalavian.tumblr.com/post/165133403063/travis-and-justin-fucking-killing-it must be heard to be believed.]]

[[AC:Fan songs]]
* [[https://gilvasunner.bandcamp.com/track/super-mario-rpg-legend-of-the-seven-grand-relics Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Grand Relics]] is a catchy, [[Music/SiIvaGunner high quality]] mashup of "Crystal Kingdom" and "[[VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG Beware the Forest's Mushrooms]]", ending with Travis and Griffin's discussion of how the song is "basically just a mashup of [[Theatre/LesMiserables 'Castle on a Cloud']] and the forest music from the ''Super Mario RPG''".
* [[https://soundcloud.com/hamsters/an-idiot "An Idiot"]], by [=PhemieC=], is a TearJerker of a song that takes a look at Taako's "simple idiot wizard" EarlyInstallmentWeirdness in the light of the events of The Stolen Century.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAv5L_xBnxE "The Ballad of Ravens Roost"]], by Scribefindegil, a lovely song about Magnus's rebellion and the fate of Ravens Roost. Very talented singer.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0q3KuCJqR4 "Stipulation"]] by Go! Child is a song for Johann that actually manages to incorporate 'Deja Vu' into its chorus.
