* LGBTFanbase: Given that Kit and Jade, two of the female main characters, are explicitly in love while their growing romance is a continuing arc, it's no surprise this is a popular show among many LGBT+ viewers.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** Our first look at the Immemorial City is presented as a sad cover of "Black Hole Sun" by Music/{{Soundgarden}} plays. The slow, gentle music, contrasted with the vaguely-menacing lyrics, fits pretty well with the city, which is large and empty but still looks incredibly foreboding.
** The final scene of the series is set to "Money for Nothing" by Music/DireStraits. The epic, legendary guitar riff by Mark Knopfler really helps sell the notion that the series was just getting started.

** Willow fends off the Gales with a ''flamethrower''.
** The TrainingMontage in episode 7, showing all the characters developing their skills.
** Willow's BigDamnHeroes moment where he shows up at Elora and Airk's fake wedding, single-handedly dispels the Crone's illusion, and [[TakenForGranite un-petrifies]] the other heroes. He might not consider himself a great sorcerer, but he definitely is one.
** Boorman gives up the Kymerian Cuirass to Kit before going to hold off an army of mooks. His PreAsskickingOneLiner is equal parts hilarious and awesome "I'd like to leave this world the way I came in. Butt naked and kicking ass!"
** Graydon gets a hold of Cherlindrea's wand and attacks the Crone. It doesn't work, but it's powerful enough to get some genuine VillainRespect from her.
** Elora's WizardDuel with the Crone to [[spoiler:avenge Graydon's apparent death]].
** Kit's IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight with Airk.

* FanPreferredCouple: Elora joins the party to rescue Airk at the start of the show because he's her boyfriend, and she firmly voices her love for him multiple times across the first season. Meanwhile, Graydon has romantic feelings for Elora, but respects her existing relationship and makes it clear he doesn't expect them returned. Regardless, you'll find much more shipping content of Elora with Graydon out in the wild than her with Airk, in no small part thanks to the latter's separation from her up until the Season 1 finale, with the former being the boy she's had onscreen development with both as individual characters and in terms of dynamic.

* FightSceneFailure: "The Battle of the Slaughtered Lamb" is. . . not great. It's obscured by darkness and rain, shot in quick cuts and closeups (likely to compensate for some of the actors' less-than-competent swordplay) against dark craggy rocks, with the three enemies in identical armor and weapons, making it difficult to get a sense for the geography of the fight, who is fighting who at any given moment, which side is winning, where the fight is relative to the "safe" space Willow and Elora take cover in, and so on. Overall, it's less a thrilling, tense action scene and more marking time to the end of the episode.
