** Outside of relationships involving Iruma, one coupling that has grown more popular is between Gaap and Agares. Increasingly after the Harvest Festival, the two are rarely ever seen apart. And there were two chapters dedicated to Agares making a trek to Gaap's house just to make sure he was okay post-Heartbreaker exam where Gaap nearly mentally destroyed his underclassmen. The fact that they are basically never seen apart post-Heartbreaker and Gaap moving to FirstNameBasis with Agares has largely cemented the two in popularity.

** The Music Festival is considered the other high watermark arc. Not only does it properly introduce Purson as a classmate (and a rather popular among the readers classmate at that), it involves the entire class working together for the first time since the Royal Classroom arc that culminates in one of the most artistic sequences in the entire thus far when they perform their musical number for the school. Generally when people talk about which part they want to see animated, the musical festival is at the top of the list.

* FandomSpecificPlot: Given the very premise of the story involves a human coming to the underworld and having to keep his true identity a secret out of fear over how other demons will react, it naturally is a common fan plot to speculate on what might happen if every demon outside the present {{Secret Keeper}}s learns that he's human. It especially comes into play for how Azz, Clara, and the rest of the Misfits might react to learning that the boy they've developed such a strong bond with is something meant to be their food.

* IKnewIt: Many readers predicted the fact that Baal was Sabro's uncle due to their similar hairstyles. Interestingly enough though, Sabro notes that Baal and his father are not actually related by blood, making their similar appearance something of a coincidence.

* EvilIsSexy:
** The very concept of the "Wicked Phase", which acts as a SuperpoweredEvilSide for all demons, basically exemplifies this, as each time it has actually shown up, the character experiencing it has acted in a much sexier and more alluring way than they do normally, since part of it involves losing all inhibitions, such as how Alice gains a sense of InterplayOfSexAndViolence that really amplifies his erotic aura. But none of the demons can compare in sexiness to Wicked Phase Iruma, who entered one thanks to mental alteration by Ali-san, as the "evil" effect of the phase at worst makes him a JerkWithAHeartOfGold with such a suave charm and forceful-yet-gentle attitude that he causes every girl and some boys to swoon. [[spoiler:The sexiness of the phase is amplified tenfold when Iruma becomes Wicked Phase ''Irumi'', as his elegant black short-hemmed dress, thigh-high boots, arm-length gloves, and hair extensions combined with a deliberately commanding attitude take AttractiveBentGender to the extreme, making him so stunningly beautiful and sexy that almost every demon of both genders are practically creaming themselves.]]
** After he properly revealed his true evil self, Kiriwo frequently acts incredibly alluring and exhibits a constant erotic aura when being his true self. He especially piles on the eroticism when his NightmareFetishist mindset is in full drive, blushing, panting, and drooling in ways that even a demon in their Wicked Phase would find too lewd.

** Some speculate that "Ali" might [[spoiler:actually be the missing demon king Delkira, with fans giving two reasons: First, Ali's full name is Arikled...which is "Delkira" spelled backwards. Second, Iruma ''somehow'' possesses Delkira's magic, even though he's human and not a demon]].

* WriterCopout: During the Masquerade Deviculum, the author relied on the "phone call interruption" cliché [[spoiler:to keep Iruma's secret as a human living in the demon world from being told to Azz and Kalego]]. Even worse is that it was done ''twice'' in back-to-back chapters.

Even worse is that it was done ''twice'' in back-to-back chapters. At the very least, a few chapters later has [[spoiler:Kalego figuring it out himself based on the hint his brother told him that Iruma's human]].
