Very shaky; this has always been a way of complimenting someone going above and beyond at their job. I realise this is YMMV but I'd suggest this example is a bit much.

Few of these exchanges with male characters have romantic implications when compared to interactions with female characters, but even his decision to eternally bind himself to his closest male companion over a potential female romantic partner reveals a lot about him. Even Lex calls him out for having the love life of a doorknob by choosing him over a girl. * LowTierLetdown: Many players lambast the usefulness of the Fighter class. With [[MasterOfNone all around mediocre defensive and offensive stats and no ability to self-heal despite being a tank]], in the starting hours of the game Fighters struggle to compete with the Lord, who hits quite a bit harder and has a strong self-heal attack, Gladiators, who [[HerdHittingAttack cleave through entire rows]] and can nullify one hard hit a turn with their self-healing, and Hoplites, who do less damage but are incredible physical tanks for their entire row. Being able to nullify ranged attacks makes the Fighter natural wingmen to any airborne class, like the Feathersword or the Gryphon Knight, or generally protect anyone who doesn't want to eat the Hunter's AlwaysAccurateAttack. But between plenty of time to devote attention to other classes coupled with limited unit space in any given formation, players tend to leave them behind. Lex, the party's first named non-generic fighter, tends to stand out as being almost unusable unless really lucky due to the issues mentioned, and needs help from allies to keep him topped off on health. On the other hand, their ability to protect flying units from archers makes them a potent combo - flyers in the front to screen the melee attacks and the fighter in the back to save his PP shielding the flyers from attacks. The game also fails to say it, but attacks from most flyers count as ranged attacks, meaning flyers with a fighter on the team will almost always win a battle against other flyers.

Example does not sufficiently explain how it applies Removed because the localizer admitted to personally making changes that he preferred. There are plenty of examples online that show big enough changes to the dialogue. For example any type of yelling is changed to add lines that never existed. Scarlett's line stating that she's scared is completely changed.

* GameBreaker: For SequenceBreaking, no skill will carry you further than the Sellswords' ''Summon Warriors'', or the Landsknecht's additional sister ability ''Summon Archers''. On a map you're reasonably leveled for they're simply useful and efficient ways to soften bosses up, save stamina cleaning up enemy parties, or stop reinforcements by forcing a garrisoned enemy into recovery instead. The "problem" is that the summoned helpers scale to the ''map's'' level, not their summoner. A level 5 Sellsword on a level 38 map will call in a squad of 5 level 38 juggernauts to lay waste to their enemies, which can be used to beat maps onto themselves or to power level much weaker characters by bringing them in to finish off a map's boss. You can access any part of the world map whenever you want by exploiting it, [[spoiler:which makes seeing the otherwise painfully tedious to grind for Norbelle that much easier to encounter.]]

Example does not sufficiently explain how it applies Whoever added that in is lying. You can find sources that show that the lines were deliberately altered from the original and portrays the characters in a different image. For example: Scarlett tells Alain she was scared when he first rescues her in the island they've lived in. The localization changes that and the guy who even localized it proudly stated that he deliberately made changes so that women would be shown in his preferred vision.

* SpiritualSuccessor: The game is billed as a return of the real time strategy of the 90s, and bears a strong similarity to ''VideoGame/OgreBattleTheMarchOfTheBlackQueen'' in particular. Gameplay wise, you have an overland map in real time where player-controlled and AI squads move, the player tasked with liberating towns and objectives. Squads that fight automatically using a limited set of actions based on player-assigned tactics. Formations involving a front row and a back row. Hero characters are unique variants of generic units used to fill out squads. The main character's class is "lord". There's even comparison story-wise, with an empire formed from 5 formerly independent kingdoms using magic and the player leading a faction called the "Liberation Army".

However, a lot of players prefer to ship them together because their interactions come across as BelligerentSexualTension, and their Rapport having somewhat flirty undertones in it. It also helps that the game gives the two unique dialogue referencing the other in battle, making it easier to ship them together.

** Radiant Knight and their promoted class Sainted Knight. They don't do a lot of damage, and their cavalry typing makes them vulnerable to a lot of attacks, but they have the ability to heal a row and can counter magic by giving a shield to someone when attacked with magic. That itself makes them annoying, but the game tends to have them accompanied by another Radiant/Sainted Knight, meaning if you can't kill one quick enough, they tend to spam their row healing on themselves and ensure the player can't take them out, especially if the player doesn't have a formation that can attack the backrow without it being magical damage. If the formation has two of them and other units that hit hard, they can make the enemy formation difficult to take out.

* StrangledByTheRedString: Alain can basically offer the Maiden's ring to any recruitable character. The thing is the vast majority of them do not have romantic rapport or conversations with him. [[ButNotTooGay When he gives it to a man, most of the time its played out as him affirming their close bond of trust and support, with no implication of marriage]]. But for most female characters, Alain will declare his love for them, which they will reciprocate, the romance coming out of nowhere with no buildup. This leads to odd pairings, like Virginia, whose conversations with Alain paint her as a CoolBigSis, only for them to then declare their love for one another (never mind that Virginia is both his much older cousin and also a splitting image of Alain's dead mother). Scarlett, Rosalinde and Melisandre are some of the only characters who are set up with a romantic arc with Alain (although many others are implied to be crushing on him (and (much rarer) he on them) at least a little). The game somewhat lampshades this, as several characters comment on the oddity of being chosen, but it doesn't take away from how it feels like the game forces Alain to suddenly be in love with the other person.
