The ponies of the Griffon Republic are perfectly used to the scent of both cooked and raw meat. Equestrians... not so much.

* UnfortunateImplications: It has not gone without comment that Applejack, who is already something of a "Good Ol' Gal" stereotype (standard Southern American working-class accent, rural background, farm laborer job, great respect for tradition) has also picked up a streak of FantasticRacism, another distinctively negative stereotypical attribute of her character archetype.

** The Cutie Mark Crusaders are pretty much demonized, to the extent that they are essentially in-story {{Hate Sink}}s and active dangers to the rest of Ponyville. This is especially jarring since, the Love Poison incident aside, nothing really publicly dangerous or annoying was ever implied to happen in canon.

Which doesn't seem to prevent them from singing...
