* UnintentionallySympathetic: Talent-phobia (or nervousness around the Talented) is often portrayed as a flaw and indicator of intolerance. On the other hand, the characters casually listen in to each other's private conversations with seemingly no concept of privacy. Even worse, Peter at one point almost [[MindRape mind rapes]] an unTalented acquaintance-- and that's completely by accident! And all of that's ignoring that the Talented are often at best InnocentlyInsensitive towards the unTalented and at worst condescending and derogatory. Talent-phobia may not be entirely justified, but it sure is sympathetic.

* GeniusBonus: Peter's natural key is C major. C major is known musically as the only major key that does not have any accidentals (essentially, it only uses the white keys on the piano). This reflects Peter's straightfowardness and aversion to moral grey areas.
* HarsherinHindsight: Tying in with its theme of achieving the supposedly-impossible, ''Pegasus in Space'' is dedicated to Creator/ChristopherReeve, with the hope that he would reach his goal of regaining the ability to walk again by 2002. While he had some mild improvements, he died in 2004 still paralysed from the neck down.

* ValuesDissonance: While the relationship between Sascha and Tirla is controversial even in-story, it would likely be considered completely taboo today. An abused twelve-year-old from an unstable home jumping into a relationship with the first person who shows her affection, and that person is in his thirties and ''knows'' their relationship is morally ambiguous? Instead of romantic, present day readers might classify the pairing as the result of grooming, unbalanced power dynamics, or emotional manipulation.

* NightmareFuel: Ludmilla Barchenka's ''saving'' ways, like giving her grunt workers only enough air for their shift, with nothing left over; dispensing with safety lines; giving them only short-range com units so if someone gets in trouble, all the workers can't hear them screaming for help; and worst of all, if a grunt accidentally ends up flying off into space, she'll only try to rescue them ''after'' the shift is over... if there's a ship available. And if they know where the grunt is.

* FridgeHorror: In ''Pegasus In Space'', there's a scene where Peter frantically 'paths Johnny for advice because one of the nurses is giving him an unwanted and unneeded bath (essentially she's trying to seduce him). Johnny tells him to dump the nurse and the bathwater outside and go back to sleep, which Peter does; afterwards, the nurse is regarded as a minor irritation that doesn't last long. However, if Peter wasn't psychic, he'd have essentially been [[RapeAsDrama stuck at that nurse's mercy.]]
