Fanfic / Irene Belserion: Queen of the Fairies

Go To

It was almost as if seeing her child had strengthened her heart. That she would be able to handle any problems that came her way, if it meant protecting her child. That’s right, we are different…
“I am not you, and you are not me.” Irene said. And the first difference will be her name…
—First chapter, Irene Belserion: Queen of the Fairies

Irene Belserion has been through hell, stuck in a body she didn't want for hundreds of years. In order to get her normal life back, she believed she would be willing to do anything, including possessing her own unborn child. But when the baby is finally born, she finds herself unable to go through with it, and instead of abandoning her, remembers how she had been willing to do anything to protect her daughter.

This leads to Irene trying to live a quiet life in the remote village of Rosemary with her daughter Erza. All is well, until one day the village is burned down by cultists and her daughter is kidnapped while she is away. This sets Irene on the road toward the Magic Guild known as Fairy Tail, and she finds herself flying back towards the past she ran from.
