Keeping the Beast Men enslaved via violence, torture, and oppression, Moreau leaves them in fear of the House of Pain where he takes them for corrective surgery should they misbehave. When sailor Braddock arrives, Moreau involves him in his experiments and injects him with a serum to painfully turn him into a beast before [[BadBoss murdering his own servant Montgomery]] when the latter objects.
