** Charlie in "Critical Support" became this as many found both her thin-skinned demeanor at Shaun and accusation of interrupting her just because ''she'' was interrupting him to be a NeverMyFault case, merely based on her autism, rather than a justified complaint.

** Charlie in "Critical Support" became this as many found both her thin-skinned demeanor at Shaun and accusation of interrupting her just because ''she'' was interrupting him to be a NeverMyFault case, merely based on her autism, rather than a justified complaint. It didn't help matters that Charlie filed a complaint against Shaun out of pure entitlement at the end of "Who at Peace" just because he kicked her out of the OR a second time.

From the Rescued From The Scrappy Heap page: "No Recent Examples rule applies to this trope. (...) All other examples (e.g. characters who were The Scrappy or related tropes such as Ethnic Scrappy or Damsel Scrappy) shouldn't be added for 9 months. This is measured from the point when the character was introduced or became hated." (Source: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap)

** Morgan was instantly hated by the fanbase after her debut late in Season 1 due to her selfish, over-competitive, no-filter attitude towards the other residents. When Claire tries to make polite conversation with her during their first surgery together, Morgan immediately drops a bomb on her by saying, "You and I are not going to be friends." She was even worse with Shaun. When he asked her if she respects him, she outright says "no", in front of Dr. Lim, no less. Thankfully, she became much more likable over the course of Season 2 and Season 3, forming a much friendlier and personal bond with Claire, and gaining a better understanding of how to communicate with Shaun. Although she still has her cruel and selfish moments occasionally, she is now on good terms with the rest of the characters.
** Charlie Lukaitis, introduced in Season 7, also earned much of the fandom's hatred because of how she used her autism to excuse her unprofessional behavior, which irritated Shaun in particular. Not helping matters is that whenever Shaun worked with her, Charlie constantly interrupted him, asked a lot of invasive questions or even put patients at risk for not following directions properly. Such as when she gave Grace away to their patient, also her father Rich, when she found out Grace was a sex worker, or unintentionally scared Lucy, an overweight girl, and her mother into backing out of the former's surgery when she mentioned the risks without pointing out how unlikely each one was, something Shaun had to fix himself. Even though Charlie did prove herself to be useful at times (doing an AI research to remove a benign brain tumor without damaging the hearing of Jordan's friend Nathan, and sharing her past to Lucy and her mother to further convince them to accept the surgery), her attitude was still annoying to fans. This conflict escalated to the point that Charlie filed a formal complaint against Shaun after he kicked her out of the OR a second time. However, in "M.C.E.", Charlie became much more positively received when all the doctors had to deal with a massive casualty event. She noticed Shaun covering his ears about to have a meltdown when everyone kept demanding his help, and Charlie was empathetic enough to see what he was going through that she helped him figure out who needed to do what. This incident made Shaun realize that he was wrong about her after all, and even Charlie chose to withdraw the complaint.

** Asher. He's could be pretty cynical and uptight. [[AlasPoorScrappy But damn, he did not deserve to die in the mid season 7.]]

* AlasPoorScrappy: Asher was a huge BaseBreakingCharacter among the fandom due to how defensive he got about his religious past, to the point of even taking his anger out on Jerome about it. [[spoiler:However, his death midway through season 7 left those who liked him heartbroken. Even his detractors.]]
