She has so much fun with it a lot of fans can't help but encourage her, and they tend to find her funny. Even the usually reliable stall and run away tactics don't always work, especially when Sakai is often so much smaller and or less fierce than, say, Mercedes Martinez or [=MsChif=]. She usually has to be against someone not particularly aggressive ''and'' around her size like Alere Little feather or Veda Scott to avoid making Sakai the face by default.

While Sakai ''did'' suffer an injury in 2000 after the ''Jaguar Cup'' that prevented Sakai from finally getting a much anticipated(by Jd' standards) shot at Asuka's TWF single's belt and lead to Asuka winning the TWF Tag Team Titles by herself, Asuka, [[JustHereForGodzilla who was the only thing many fans cared about]], had little direct involvement and it was a series of events besides.
