Recap Pages shouldn't spoil things that happen after the recapped episode.

* RightHandVersusLeftHand: Only three episodes after this one, we hit Improbable Cause/The Die is Cast which is the culmination of a years long term Romulan/Cardasian plan to build a strike force to attack through the Wormhole and eliminate the Founders. Which ... would be a ''little'' hard if they blew up the Wormhole first like they very clearly planned to do here. This suggests the Romulans present at the station were not under Tal Shiar control, or, were from a faction of the origination not 'in the loop' on the plan in question.

* MemeticMutation: Late in the episode there's a scene of two Miles O'Briens from a few hours apart TalkingToThemself. They try to hash out the TimeyWimeyBall and end up doing some LampshadeHanging with the simultaneous line, "I hate temporal mechanics." This became a popular fan response to time travel-related silliness.
