He becomes terrified when [=SpongeBob=] reveals who the bully is, but it's the thought that counts.

* FridgeLogic: Why didn't [=SpongeBob=] go to [[ActionGirl Sandy]] for protection against the Strangler? She was shown attending [=SpongeBob=]'s parties but he never thought to go to her for help earlier on.
** Because according to "The Great Snail Race", he thinks [[PoliticallyIncorrectHero women are physically weak]]. Also as seen in "Karate Choppers" he's prideful of his karate skills compared to Sandy and he might think asking Sandy for physical protection would be the same as capitulating the title of who's the strongest to her. And in "Sandy, [=SpongeBob=] and the Worm", we see that [=SpongeBob=] doesn't have much confidence in Sandy taking down strong powerful threats such as the Alaskan Bull Worm.
