** Ever since their first interaction in Episode 4, Abbigail/Jalkar has gained a following for some reason, despite their aforementioned first interaction being them fighting. The two have had an antagonistic relationship with each other for the entire first season, so it's a wonder why the Abbigail/Jalkar ship even exists. This died down as Season 1 progressed, and the pairing quickly became obsolete.
** The popularity of Thalleous/Tygren didn't take a big hit even from [[spoiler:Tygren killing Thalleous]], and it's only been growing after it was acknowledged by the creators in the episode 6-10 bloopers. To this day, it still remains as one of the show's most popular ships.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Mr Finch was supposed to come off as a protective, grandfatherly figure to Abbigail, not the lying douchebag he's shown as in his debut episode. \n* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Mr Finch was supposed to come off as a protective, grandfatherly figure to Abbigail, not the lying douchebag he's shown as in his debut episode. He does show his intended purpose in Episode 4 however. Abbigail is supposed to come off as a determined girl looking for adventure and taking back the egg, yet some fans argue that she is a farmer girl with no training and plot armor who unrealistically defeated Jalkar and Grim, while being greedy for the egg because she views herself as more than a farmer girl. She is disliked by Jalkar fans for [[spoiler:killing Jalkar. They argue that Sam killed himself by dragging Jalkar off the cliff.]] However, Abbigail is also liked by other fans, so she is controversial.

** Jalkar Bowmani, is he really an evil criminal who [[spoiler: deserved to die?]] Or is he merely a mercenary who was after money and wealth? He did spare Mr. Finch and Abbigail after they fought, making a decision to knock them out instead of killing them. Some fans argue that after this, Abbigail relentlessly pursued him and Grim for the egg they stole that wasn't hers, shooting them with her bow repeatedly while they just ran and avoided her. Eventually, he gets tired of it and [[spoiler:goes after Abbigail. After Jalkar defeats her, her dog Sam proceeds to drag Jalkar off the cliff, essentially sacrificing himself to save Abbigail. Abbigail then proceeds to kill Jalkar mercilessly, because her dog died because of Jalkar. However, fans argue that Jalkar didn't kill Sam and that Sam killed himself.]]
