* FanHater: Subverted. Often when he's harshly criticizing a song or band, he will admit that he doesn't have a problem with his viewers actually liking what he doesn't. Sadly, this doesn't stop him from getting hate comments (see below). What's even amusing is that Luke has made it clear he doesn't have a ''problem'' with said bands people enjoy (although he doesn't reserve that for Music/LimpBizkit, Music/SimplePlan, or Music/KidRock).

* BrokenBase:
** The later ''Regretting the Past'' post-Music/KidRock reviews. They're either still entertaining and have the same amount of snark and wit Luke is known for...or he spends ninety percent of the time simply repeating himself over how something is "bland" and "boring".
** Some people have become incredibly tired of Luke's borderline cynical nature over Rock music apparently "being dead" simply because it no longer is a staple in radio play. Some people find it valid and he makes a point, while some feel he's simply invoking nostalgic glasses as a BiasSteamroller. [[TakeAThirdOption Others]] see him as being right on a certain level, but feel it's not as dead as he makes it out to be.
