"Idiot Plot" is now Flame Bait.

* IdiotPlot: Molly is helped along in her plot by all of her targets being really stupid. Beginning with Denise just randomly hiring a party planner she happened to meet in a near-car accident, we have Ashley directly confronting Molly about her plan to turn her in to the police, rather than just call the cops; Grace not thinking it odd that a college recruiter would schedule an interview at a random coffee house; Josh accepting drinks from a provocative, attractive woman knowing that his wife was due at the bar at any moment; and most of all Denise not picking up on the fact that everything in her life going to hell times up perfectly with her hiring of Molly. That said, Molly has a few brain hiccups as well; interacting with Josh and Grace undisguised, without considering the possibility that they might drop in unannounced to the office or otherwise might see her and recognize her.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Denise, our ostensible hero, is a workaholic to start out with, then is too dense to figure out that Molly is totally messing with her, and worst of all, has a habit of throwing people under the bus for extremely out of character indiscretions that she should have found suspicious (Ashley and the peanut allergy debacle, Josh's apparent infidelity, Grace lying to her about blowing the college interview, Liam and the company credit card). But the climax actually introduces some FridgeBrilliance into this point--[[spoiler:Molly's revenge plot was motivated by young Denise suddenly ending their friendship, showing that she was always a self-absorbed backstabber]].
