Really, only Frank Ocean and Earl Sweatshirt are totally exempt from being this to any given person, [[LoveItOrHateIt hence the divisiveness of the group.]]

* SoOkayItsAverage: Some of the members' technical skills often get this criticism from some Rap fans. One of the things that makes them TheScrappy to a lot of communities is their perceived [[ItsTheSameSoItSucks lack of progression]], though YourMileageMayVary heavily, as even on this very page, several of their members are listed under GrowingTheBeard trope. Their reputation as such seems to be fading as each member grows, though.
