* AmericansHateTingle: "Keeping The Dream Alive" charted in most of the English-speaking world, hitting the Top 20 in the UK, but completely bombed in the US. Which is surprising, because [[PowerBallad Power Ballads]] and [[BorrowingTheBeatles Beatles pastiches]] were both popular there in 1989, so a song that combined those elements should've been a can't-miss.

* EarWorm: So many. Apart from either version of "Keeping the Dream Alive", try listening to (for example) "Ohne Dich (schlaf' ich heut Nacht nicht ein)" or "Verlieben Verlieren" without them getting stuck in your head.

*SuspiciouslySimilarSong: The first few bars of the chorus of "Keeping The Dream Alive" are identical to the chorus of "All Through The Night" (originally by Jules Shear, CoveredUp by Music/CyndiLauper). The verse melody resembles "Pomp and Circumstance" in parts.
