* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: While the audience was probably supposed to assume Snowden knew Emery Elizabeth would think of something and she and Landon would be alright, it was still rather jerkish of him to leave them behind on the mountain, even if he was in a hurry to save Elektra's smile. Similarly, the scene where he dismisses Emery Elizabeth's plan to ride on top of him while he floats, right after he had been encouraging her to come up with something.

* DesignatedHero: Electra is supposedly a benevolent BigGood, but her power of making no one "able to deny her anything" with her smile, yet still keeping her subjects happy and laughing at all times, makes her look like a tyrannical dictator enforcing HappinessIsMandatory on her kingdom.

* DesignatedHero: Electra FridgeHorror: Electra's kingdom is supposedly a benevolent BigGood, but her power of making no one "able to deny her anything" with her smile, yet still keeping her subjects happy and laughing at all times, makes her look like place, but in practice it comes off as a tyrannical dictator enforcing HappinessIsMandatory on dictatorship and the ruler herself looks like a tyrant using her kingdom.smile to make people agree with her.

* MemeticMolester: Snowden looks and acts uncomfortably like a stereotypical child predator, a fact multiple reviewers have commented on. Him being the only adult in Princess Electra's kingdom doesn't help matters.

* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoment: It is rather nice to see Emery Elizabeth make a full recovery in the end.

** The illness that Emery Elizabeth has. The way it makes her unable to walk and puts her close to death and can be completely healed from overnight by Landon keeping her alive until Christmas morning, coupled with the doctor's assessment ("I think if she makes it to Christmas, she'll be alright") and the fact that it's never even specified what it is, makes the whole nature of it rather ridiculous.
