* TheScrappy: The green-clad Angel gets the most hate, mostly due to his annoying, raspy voice. Whose idea was it to have Creator/CharlesMartinet [[QuestionableCasting voice a character that looks like a little boy]]?

"Idiot Plot" is now Flame Bait.

* IdiotPlot: The plot hinges on these three aspects in order to work: 1. The kids' father buys a cottage in the middle of nowhere, for seemingly no reason. 2. Daniel goes sledding with his little brother, right into a cliff, even though he should know that there is one since ''he lives there''. 3. The Angels do absolutely ''nothing'' to save Jimmy, even though they were shown saving a kid from falling off a cliff before.

* DesignatedHero:
** The Angels, despite being there to [[GuardianAngel protect the characters from harm]], rarely do anything useful.
** The kids' father is supposed to be liked beacuse he saved Zeke Eaterman's life during the war at the risk of his own, however, as described in StrawmanHasAPoint and IdiotPlot, a lot of the trouble Daniel has to go through could have been very easily avoided if it weren't for the dad leaving his kids in a cottage on an isolated mountain.

* StrawmanHasAPoint: At one point, Daniel complains about their dad making them live in the middle of nowhere and remarks that the situation is all his fault. We're suppose to see this as Daniel [[NeverMyFault refusing to take responsibility for his actions]], but leaving his children alone in the middle of a blizzard in a cabin with no working phone line that's seperated from the nearest town by a mountain and a dangerous river was a very irresponsible thing for the dad to do.
* TheScrappy: The Green-clad Angel gets the most hate out of the already disliked Angels. Mostly due to his annoying, raspy voice. Whose idea was it to have Creator/CharlesMartinet [[WTHCastingAgency voice a character that looks like a little boy]]?

Added DiffLines:

* AssPull: Even though the Angels were shown ''preventing'' the dog Scout from being hit by a truck, Scout dies anyway and needs to be revived by the Angels.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment:
** At one point, the Angels kidnap Daniel's sister to sing a song to her. Instead of making her aware of the Angels' existence or them actually doing anything useful, like preventing Jimmy from dying or [[JustEatGilligan outright healing him]], the song ''and'' scene are never mentioned again and essentially serve no purpose.
** Later, the Angels need to revive Scout after he was hit by a truck... even though he ''wasn't''. Again, he survives and the truck is never mentioned again.
