* NarmCharm: Besides the gratuitous and physics-defying breast bounce, the series has such an absurd explanation for ClothingDamage, it's just a wink and a nod away from becoming a parody of the concept. However, the entire appeal of the series is that it's a silly {{Ecchi}} dedicated in providing {{Fanservice}} with no pretense of being anything else.

Works that share a creator are moved to Creator Driven Successor on Trivia per TRS

* SpiritualSuccessor: To ''[[Anime/ValkyrieDriveMermaid Valkyrie Drive]]'', the last multimedia project where Takaki and Kaneko worked together. While the premise of both series is very different, ultimately they both are about two girls with different personalities teaming up and growing together to win battles/competition against other duos. And naturally, both series have abundant fanservice.

* ItsEasySoItSucks: A common complaint of the gameplay is that even without upgrades and half-decent racing skills, you will easily breeze past all your opponents for all but the last 2 missions of the campaign and thus rarely have to use any of the weapons. The fact that the top speed of the jets were reduced (probably to compensate for shooting mechanics) made some players feel it should have reduced focus on the shooters entirely for better high-speed racing experience.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Adorkable}}: Beneath her overly serious demeanor, Misa can be downright silly. This is best exemplified when she gets very serious about touring Rin through Asakusa and then challenging Jennifer to a Jet Race over a keychain shaped like a yellow dolphin both wanted.

* TheProblemWithLicensedGames: Averted! While it won't win any rewards, the Playstation 4 game is fun. Great graphics, great music, and fun gameplay make for a solid game, only being a few tweaks and a few gameplay modes away from being exceptional.

* FridgeLogic: If the girls suffer ClothingDamage while racing, their clothes logically would fall in the river. Similarly, Emily casually tosses her bazooka in the river after using all the ammo and no one questions it. How exactly are they getting those things back and how much time and effort does it takes?
