* CantTakeCriticism: Somewhat ironically, John can ''not'' handle being criticized and will swiftly retaliate against any in his Youtube comments or messages in his Twitch chat with snark and removals or outright bans. He even admitted [[https://culturedvultures.com/interview-john-wolfe-aka-youtuber-harshlycritical/ in an interview]] that he enjoys confronting negative comments and getting into squabbles over them.

Fan Dumb is Flame Bait which aren't allowed on YMMV pages.

* FanDumb: He called out a number of ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'' fans for this, after they spoil massive parts of the game for him and ''then'' get mad at him for not being enthused enough about the game ''they'' enjoyed so much because they got to experience its subversive play spoiler-free. It actually put him off playing ''any'' such games in the future, as he feels they are terrible to LetsPlay because of it. As he explained in a comment:
--> "It's like trying to watch a movie you've never seen before with a room full of people who've seen it multiple times and keep saying shit like 'Ooo, this next part's MY FAVORITE' and 'Too bad that one guy is the secret antagonist' and then looking over at you to see your reaction to certain scenes, only to be disappointed when you don't react passionately to what you were just spoiled."

* MemeticLoser: WebOriginal/JeffTheKiller, due to a surplus of low quality games starring him and his general character just not being scary.

* HeartwarmingMoments: During his playthrough of "VideoGame/DokiDokiLiteratureClub", when [[spoiler: Monika]] badmouths [[spoiler: Yuri for cutting herself]], John simply and calmly replies, "it just means she needs help". ** His intro, "Hey guys, it's John!", for how simple it is, has been meme'd by his fanbase a lot as well, with the most common variation being the overdone "Hey John, it's guys!" joke. So much in fact, that John [[AscendedMeme turned]] "guys" into an actual character for his channel, whose catchphrase is exactly that!

** Red means scary, in reference to the sheer amount of indie "horror" games John plays that have an abundant amount of red. [[https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/533399-red-means-scary?store_id=1995 Now has a T-shirt]].
