Uncanny Valley is IUEO now and the subjective version has been split; cleaning up misuse and ZCE in the process

* UncannyValley: The dog's shadow, which has eyes and a mouth. If you pay close attention, the shadow's eyes move independently of the dog's.

Added DiffLines:

* FamilyUnfriendlyAesop: Life is hard and filled with thankless moments, but complete freedom doesn't guarantee happiness either.
* HilariousInHindsight: It's a story about a total nobody who wears clown makeup and is frustrated by the rat race. Maybe the lead should be called [[Film/{{Joker}}2019 Arthur Fleck]]?
* JerkassWoobie: The wife is pushy, but the brief glimpse we see of her crumbling after upsetting her husband hints that she's as much a victim of the maze as he is.
* NightmareFuel: The short relies a lot on facial horror, as the main character's appearance is dirtied and distorted over the span of a day. But by far the creepiest moment would have to be the zoom into an extreme close-up on his eyes, with that drawn out scare chord playing over it. The animators switched out the clay figure with an actor wearing a mask, meaning you got to see a pair of very human-looking and fearful eyes peering out of a clay figure's face. Children who saw the film jumped to some [[EyeScream very sinister conclusions]] regarding Aardman's animation techniques.
* UncannyValley: The dog's shadow, which has eyes and a mouth. If you pay close attention, the shadow's eyes move independently of the dog's.
* TheWoobie: The protagonist is jerked around all day, can only find comfort in alcohol and eventually realises that his efforts to impress people are wasted as they're too self-absorbed. When he escapes the maze, he ends up in the same predicament, only now he's just as bad as everyone else.
