* CompleteMonster: While there are quite a few the crown has to go to Diodora Astaroth. [[spoiler: It's implied that he ''raped all the pieces under his commend'' and also was about to rape Asia]].

* FunnyAneurysmMoment : Anyone but me finds it hard to enjoy manga and anime, since they take place before reveal about Issei still having deep trauma from being killed by Raynare? Every single "Issei is jerk! He cannot understand girls! *Punch*!", makes me wanna scream: "You are abusing traumatized kid! Aren't you little bit suprised why he doesn't notice you affection!?". Sadly, even later novels brushed that off. He still wont have sex with them, but now that he's supposedly better there is no excuse other than "publishers said so".

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Most fan's opinion of the anime. At least, until they saw the final episode and then changed their minds.

** Part of the problem is an editorial one; Ishibumi has been trying to set things up to get Issei laid by one of his girls for several books but his editor keeps shutting him down [[RuinedForever out of fear for]] [[MyGirlIsNotASlut the reactions of the otaku reader base.]] This has led to employing characters as {{Moment Killer}}s in the later books and unfortunately Asia has gotten stuck with the job.

* FetishFuel: Most of Riser's peerage could be considered this. He has a pair of [[ChainsawGood chainsaw-wielding]] grade school girls in gym uniforms, a pair of {{Cat Girl}}s in {{Stripperiffic}} SailorFuku, an AnimeChineseGirl, two {{Meido}}s, a girl who looks like she came from a Vegas gig, a {{Tomboy}}, a YamatoNadeshiko, and his {{Tsundere}} sister.
** It even gets lampshaded in an {{Omake}} chapter of the manga when Riser attempts to invite Ravel into his peerage.

* LawfulNeutral: Sakra Indra. Will help out TheAlliance just so they can take care of the Khaos Brigade's Hero Faction, but won't do anything else after that.

* TrueNeutral: Ophis; if it's not about defeating Great Red, then she wouldn't care about anything else. That is, before meeting Issei.

* CrazyAwesome: Seriously, if he wasn't the protagonist, Issei would be dead by now with all the crazy stuff he can pull off. To wit, he has: done a rescue mission to Asia by ''punching out a Fallen Angel so hard she bursts through the wall'' (out the window in the anime), barged in an engagement party full of devils to take back Rias, ''invented Dress Break and Bilingual out of pure lust'', defeats Riser, ''an immortal phoenix'', not with the use of his newly-found dragon powers, but by using a holy cross and holy water which he can't even use because he's a devil, but is capable to do so because his arm is a dragon's, powers up with lust and by using Rias' breasts, [[spoiler: accidentally ''summons the Breast God'' (well Breast Fairy but still definitely counts), is capable of ''breathing fire'' to a shadow-using opponent, and was able to make the past users of Boosted Gear come back to the light and make them stop relying on Juggernaut Drive ''with breasts'']]. If there's one thing Rias recruited to her group, it's the fact that she recruited ''the'' craziest character of the series. ''No one'' out-crazies Issei at all in this series. And yet somehow, he's also the OnlySaneMan in the group (when he's not doing his lecherous ways).

* HilariousInHindsight: Vali notes back in the fourth volume that the current red-white dragon rivalry was a bit unfair because Vali's the descendant of the old Lucifer and Issei's the son of a common {{Muggle}}. Vali wishes that Issei's parents were a bit special so they can have a more interesting match. [[spoiler: Now that Great Red and Ophis are both Issei's parents by proxy by creating a body for him from Great Red's flesh and Ophis' powers, let's just say [[TemptingFate Vali's wish came true.]] Though seeing as Vali's a BloodKnight, he's probably pleased with the development.]]

* IKnewIt: Some people got it correct when [[spoiler: they thought that Great Red was going to help out both Issei and Ophis. ''No one'', however, thought that Great Red has a {{Delinquent}} personality.]]
