* StrangledByTheRedString: Sam's declaration of love to Ruth, and her later declaration to him, drops in from pretty much out of nowhere: for most of seasons 1 and 2, their relationship shows some professional chemistry but little personal spark beyond friendship. Ruth herself points out that they have nothing in common and that he's twice her age. The show does heavily imply, at least on Ruth's side, that their attraction is mostly based on their mutual loneliness and would not work even short-term.

* StrangledByTheRedString: Sam's declaration of love to Ruth, and especially her later declaration to him, drops in from pretty much out of nowhere: nowhere. While it's always suggested that Sam was oddly fond of Ruth and cut her far more slack than the others, even while criticising her, for most of seasons 1 and 2, 2 their relationship shows some professional chemistry but little personal spark beyond friendship. When he finally makes a move on her at the end of season 2, she recoils in horror and flees right into Russell's arms, reigniting their stumbling romance. But the next season when Sam confesses love, suddenly Ruth herself points out that they have nothing in common is excited and that he's twice her age. shares his feelings? The show does heavily imply, at least on Ruth's side, that their attraction is mostly based on their mutual loneliness and would not work even short-term.

Not YMMV.

* AmazonianBeauty: A lot of the female wrestlers are would-be actresses who've been told time and again they're not beautiful enough for film. They're stunned to realize how many men find their costumes and wrestling personas sexy. Even Tamme (a heavy-set, middle-aged mom) and Sheila (who's been called weird and ugly all her life) win their share of sincere admirers.

Community was already done by the time GLOW started, so no hindsight necessary. Also check out Example Indentation.

** [[Series/{{Community}} This isn't the first time]] Alison Brie and a man who's two decades older than her fall in love, but don't make a move because of the age difference.

** "Don't Kidnap," as sung by the ''GLOW'' Girls in episode 8 of Season 2. [[StylisticSuck Deliberately bad and/or hammy vocalizations, and some of the silliest, most awkward lyrics ever written]], in this AffectionateParody of "We Are the World" and other similar songs.
** "Makeover" from the same episode is a very mindless, very catchy pop song.

** All the characters they play, particularly the more outlandishly offensive ones, with the exception of Carmen and Melrose since they mostly just play themselves.

** Gregory, the Russian manager of the motel the girls stay at. He has a number of hilarious one-liners and the scene where he brings Ruth to his nephew's bris is wall to wall hilarious.

Not unintentional at all

** We get a quite nauseating close-up shot of [[spoiler:Ruth's broken ankle]] in Season 2.
* UnintentionallySympathetic: Ruth blows up at Sam and ends their romance right after it started when he tells her Justine wants another actress in her movie. But it's really hard to find fault in his not wanting to step on his daughter's toes as she's starting out in the business, plus he ''absolutely'' did the right thing in making sure Ruth knew about it before anything more happened between them.
