* ItsTheSameNowItSucks: Several movie reviewers complained that the movie follows too closely all the beats and gags of ''One Cut of the Dead'', not only ruining the surprise for those who already saw the Japanese original, but also because the whole joke of the original film was that it was a NoBudget film both in-universe and out. Thus showing a big amount of ingenuity from the cast and crew, while the French remake has a much more substantial budget yet tries to pass itself off as a cheaply made Z-movie.
