** [[spoiler:Ridley being taken out because the area he's in is blasted to smithereens]] is a hilarious mirror to the oh-so-common incident of [[spoiler:planets and space stations in ''Franchise/{{Metroid}}'' [[EarthShatteringKaboom being obliterated into dust]], with Ridley himself having been a victim of such in a few games.]]

** In the shitpost comic "He's so cool", the Smashers hire Chris Pratt to play the fighters that weren't revived yet. In WesternAnimation/TheSuperMarioBrosMovie, Chris Pratt would voice Mario.

** Cloud goes through the wringer with Sephiroth playing a pretend act of turning good, due to the fact that he let his paranoia get the best of him and stabbing a cake for the 35th anniversary for ''Legend of Zelda'' and then realizing too late that he was ''right all along'' and nobody believed him until after they got poisoned. Thankfully, after he shouts at everyone how he was right (and is promptly ignored), he ends up getting some well-deserved catharsis on Sephiroth.

** In "Gym Rats", Wario is working with law enforcements to arrest a Toad who is peddling drug products from Super Mushrooms. Is he doing it because he has standards or is he just doing it for the cash reward?

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Was Sakurai having Kirby punish Incineroar for nearly leaking the final two Smashers excessive? Or was it a case of pragmatism so that Sephiroth wouldn't go after Sora the moment he overheard that he would've been the last fighter?

* MorePopularSpinoff: Initially, WebComic/WoodenPlankStudios wasn't just ''Everyone is Home''; there had been comics and storylines based on other games and properties as well, notably ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'', ''Series/GameOfThrones'', the ''Film/MarvelCinematicUniverse'', ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'', and ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossingNewHorizons'' (some of which having been alluded to in ''Everyone is Home''). But due to ''Everyone Is Home'' being popular with fans, combined with the author admitting that he liked the concept of the Smashers going to different video game worlds, ''Everyone is Home'' became the site's main comic starting with the Revival Arc.

How are those scenes have any significance?

* SignatureScene:
** Sora having a BigDamnHeroes moment while holding his Smash invitation, mostly because it coincides with the real-life reveal that he was the last DLC for ''Ultimate'' and that ''no one'' was expecting his arrival.
** Cloud's IWarnedYou rant towards ''everyone'' after he finally gets revived. [[IKnewIt Mostly because the fans knew that he would be shouting this]] after everyone dismissed him as paranoid and that he's the last one to get revived.
