* {{Narm}}: When Webby falls off the staircase as the bin is crumbling it's supposed to be a tense, adrenaline filled moment. But her eyes go so comically huge and she screams in such an over the top way, it's impossible to take seriously.

* WhatAnIdiot: The nephews and Webby have three wishes each, quite literally the power to change the world twelve times over. What do they wish for? A pet, a sundae and to bring a roomful of toys to life. To be fair, Louie does wonder if one of them should wish for 'peace and happiness all over the world'. But Genie quickly shoots him down by claiming they're wishes not miracles, whatever that means.

** Earlier, Webby offers to return the lamp to Scrooge (who had given it to her so she could use it as a toy teapot) when he is upset about losing the treasure. He gently turns her down, but it was still very sweet.

* CompleteMonster: Merlock is this in spades. When used in conjunction with the lamp, his talisman allows him to bypass the three-wish limit on the lamp and get as many wished as he wants. He used those wishes to, among other things, sink Atlantis back when it was a luxurious resort simply because he couldn't get reservations there, and cause Mount Vesuvius to erupt and wipe out the village of Pompeii because he lost his temper. And these are only the things the Genie lists as examples, which means he was likely responsible for several other disasters of the ancient world, for similarly petty reasons, before Collie Baba stole the lamp from him.

* CompleteMonster: Merlock is an evil sorcerer who used to own the Genie's lamp. He has a talisman that lets him have as many wishes as his heart desires. His first wish was to be immortal, and that's probably the nicest wish he ever made. After that, he ended up using one wish to sink {{Atlantis}} just because he couldn't get a reservation and another to destroy Pompeii just because he was mad at the time. This guy is so evil that even centuries later the Genie is absolutely petrified of him.

* TheWoobie: The Genie was pretty much enslaved by Merlock, a CompleteMonster who forced him to do horrible things and left him traumatized even centuries later.
