** The Thief. In ''Commandos 2: Men of Courage'', his capacities were very useful (he is the faster runner, he can climb poles and walls, he can unlock doors/crates, he can punch enemies, he can crawl in tiny spaces, he can send his pet rat as distraction, he can enter building through windows) but he lacked the ability to tie knocked enemies. In ''Destination Paris'', he as all those abilities and the mod gives him a few others: he can tie enemies, throw chemical grenades, and set up bear traps. It makes him become a sort of tiny OneManArmy.

** Molotov cocktails' mechanics have been reworked. In the original game, they basically were a less-interesting variant of the grenades[[note]]stuff carried by enemies killed by fire becomes unusable. Also, Molotov cocktails' victims aren't immediately killed but randomly run while burning and then die in random places, which makes it an especially impractical weapon for a stealth-based game[[/note]]. In the mod, not only the running-men-on-fire effect has been removed, but the impact zone of a Molotov cocktail on the ground is temporarily turned into a tiny burning spot which is immediately lethal to anyone enters it. Since AI compels the enemies to check any corpse they found, throwing a Molotov cocktail in the middle of a group will wipe out an entire patrol (those who survived the blast with accidentally kill themselves by checking the surrounding corpses and walking through the charred area), ''then'' the resulting alarm will attract nearby enemies, who'll die too by checking the slaughter...
