* UnintentionallySympathetic: Susna, the Shark Queen. [[spoiler: When it's revealed that she altered the prophecy, it's seen as a horrible thing by many characters and she becomes stripped of her title following her attempt to kill Kappa which led to Siren's massive back scar (his first scar since before that he was the only unmarred shark). Yet in hindsight, Siren is her only child and it comes across as much less of her doing a selfish act and more wanting to keep her child safe from being killed even with the curse threatening her people. It helps that the story does make sure to show the sympathetic side to her in the aftermath of everything such as how much she misses her son despite sending him off when he wanted to go as well as how she remains dedicated to her people.]]

Misplaced, moving to the correct tab

* CastFullOfGay: The cast has a multitude of characters confirmed to be lgbtq+, including the gay Kappa, asexual/aromantic Neth, trans Queen Nee and the nonbinary Herm and Orakos. Mono, Mucku, Siren, Krilli, Fizz and the unnamed manta rays have also been confirmed to be non-heterosexual, but have not been given a specific classification. Additionally, multiple characters are subtly implied to possibly be lgbtq+ as well, like the Jellyla queen Jengu
