Horror audiences, however, are much more divided on it, with its [=IMDB=] score being an only slightly above average 5.6. - it has fans, but the general consensus is that aside from the killers being cult members based on a real group, its plot is standard slasher fare (group of young people go somewhere for vacation, only to discover murder awaits them) lifted mainly by its performances and atmosphere. It's not regarded as a bad film, but viewers treated it with nowhere near the respect critics did.
