** Her first reign as RAW Women's Champion is also considered as this for some people. Her feud with Wrestling/LaceyEvans was poorly handled, with Evans being hot-shotted from developmental in NXT straight into the title picture, and later getting involved with her real-life boyfriend Wrestling/SethRollins made it even worse. Though she did manage to regain significant momentum once her feud with Wrestling/SashaBanks started, it once again came to a screeching halt when she was forced to team with Charlotte and compete for the Women's Tag Titles (while failing to capture said titles and losing the feud).

* BadassDecay: Downplayed but, while still higher in popularity than she was prior to ''Wrestling/SummerSlam 2018'', it appears that WWE's attempts to capitalize into her surprise popularity boom with the fans actually made her character as "The Man" gradually lose some steam. On the one hand, her marketing as "The Man" has gone into overdrive to the point of taking over her entrance graphics, WWE is no longer trying to shoehorn her into the role of a heel, and she has been heavily shilled heading into an encounter with Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship set to be the ''first ever female main event'' of ''Wrestling/WrestleMania'', while getting to cite herself as being responsible for this feat. On the other hand, any notions that she would be organically booked as a female counterpart to Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin have been shot down hard; she has been routinely shushed, shouted down, and lectured by others in promos such as Rousey, Wrestling/TripleH, Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon, and on several occasions Wrestling/CharlotteFlair herself, while rarely getting a chance to deliver a proper comeback until she got on Website/{{Twitter}} the next day; had very few wins on television since the injury; tapped out after spending a mere six seconds in an [[Wrestling/KanakoUrai Asuka Lock]] at ''Wrestling/RoyalRumble 2019'' and begged and gimped her way through two injury angles (her own and [[Wrestling/RusevAndLana Lana]]'s) into winning the Women's Rumble match; and later most infamously spent an entire episode of ''[[Wrestling/WWERaw Monday Night Raw]]'' figuring out whether to ''apologize for attacking her bosses so she could keep her title shot'', then eventually doing so (reluctantly) only for Wrestling/VinceMcMahon to take the title shot away from her anyway by suspending her until after ''[=WrestleMania=]'' ''and replacing her with Charlotte Flair''. On top of ruining the idea of the one-on-one dream match between Becky and Ronda as well as tethering Charlotte to Becky's momentum yet again, all of this has cut away from the "dangerous girl who's lost her last trace of mercy and is coming for what's hers" vibe that first put Becky over the top.\\

Evil Is Sexy TRS; this has become an objective, in-universe trope.

** Alright, so the "evil" part only counted for about a month, but a massive portion of Becky's influx of fans after her initial FaceHeelTurn in 2018 would probably agree that, on top of making her straight-up cooler, Becky's new attitude and rebel-tomboy-in-leather look also successfully made her ''wildly'' more attractive.
** A more straight example happened following her return in 2021, where a FaceHeelTurn was far more effective in making Becky a heel (by squashing Bianca Belair for the [=SmackDown=] Women's Championship and persistently refusing to give her a rematch) … and with it, Becky changed her [[https://i.redd.it/u7gbso6rj3741.jpg more covering gear]] for costumes that [[https://i.redd.it/7up3950fugl71.jpg generously showed her abs]] or [[https://preview.redd.it/eg3djznw3pv71.jpg?width=768&auto=webp&s=9fcdf41bb1b843717bf57343a749d0a70fba95e6 straight up had a]] CleavageWindow.

Requires Word Of God confirmation

* AuthorsSavingThrow: One which may have been forced by the fans if anything. During her first promo after her late 2018 FaceHeelTurn against Wrestling/CharlotteFlair, Becky called into question the fans' loyalty towards her. However, they did not turn against her; in fact when she first asked if they were with her the whole time, they ''instantly'' screamed and chanted "YES!" in response. That section of the promo came across as her trying really hard to be a heel and no one biting, and social media commentary mercilessly called out the creative team for having her completely deny the reality of her fan support. With the intended narrative undermined to death, the official WWE Website/YouTube cut of the promo noticeably edits out her jabs towards the fans and merely cuts to Charlotte coming out after her justifying herself turning against her, having her come off as less heelish, and the following week saw Becky attack Charlotte again while being presented more as a frustrated and exhausted anti-hero than a straight villain. While WWE would eventually again begin portraying her as the heel via caustic arrogance and willingness to fight dirty in comparison to both Charlotte and Creator/RondaRousey, culminating in Ronda blatantly telegraphing Wrestling/VinceMcMahon's vision for her character by shouting about her being a spoilt entitled millennial who needs to be put in her place on the ''Wrestling/SurvivorSeries'' go-home show of ''Raw'', that same go-home show saw the iconic bloody face of a warrior maiden in blue. This in turn catapulted Becky to mainstream wrestling outlets, so significantly that her heel character was phased out entirely.

** Despite being the heel during her 2018 feud with Wrestling/CharlotteFlair, Becky had the fans cheering for her, even after giving out a typical heel speech and peppering in jabs at the fans. This sentiment was so loud and vociferous both in the arenas and on social media that WWE couldn't last two weeks before at least courting a shift in the story from straightforward Charlotte-face, Becky-heel booking to two defiant former friends each with valid points. Ultimately, they did stick to trying to make her the villain, mocking Wrestling/{{Edge}}'s neck injury, repeatedly attacking Charlotte Flair in front of children and making her cry, and engaging in more UnsportsmanlikeGloating than the Rock, but they have yet to actually make the fans turn on her. The limit of their changes appears to be having her refrain from throwing abuse at the audience that clearly loves her. Wrestling/VinceMcMahon's frustration can be tasted when, on the Survivor Series go-home episode of Raw, Creator/RondaRousey starts ranting about how Becky is a [[AuthorTract spoilt, entitled millenial]] who needs to be put in her place; this despite Becky clawing for every inch she has and Ronda being a millennial herself, with the two being born just days apart from each other.

Taken UpToEleven when La Luchadora, the MaskedLuchador disguise Becky created to fight Wrestling/AlexaBliss, is later taken by an unknown person (later revealed to be Wrestling/MickieJames) to distract Becky and cause her to lose against Bliss, which means technically Becky was betrayed by ''her own gag''. Perhaps the cherry on top of this was that the last straw for Becky was Wrestling/CharlotteFlair winning the [=SmackDown=] Women's Championship from under her; Sting having most famously being betrayed by Charlotte's father Wrestling/{{Ric|Flair}}.

Like Austin, Becky is an aggressive, foulmouthed AntiHero with virtually unparalleled charisma and ''godlike'' popularity with wrestling fans, and all attempts to turn her into a proper heel have been met with overwhelming scorn and subsequently fallen flat. The fact that Austin himself is a fan of Becky's and has praised her on numerous occasions has only fueled the parallels.

** While it is common for a Heel to be a SoreLoser after losing their championship, Becky, after losing her Raw Women's Championship to Bianca Belair at ''[=WrestleMania=] 38'', is instead treated in sympathetic light. Keep in mind that before she became the Man in 2018, Becky has to bust her ass for years after being ignored and forgotten by management for years. Not only that, from the way the company treated anyone who isn't [[CreatorsPet Charlotte Flair]], even if they are an ex-champion, it wouldn't be long for Becky to suffer the fate of the likes of others such as Bayley. [[note]]After Bayley's one year reign as [=SmackDown=] Women's Champion ended, she never has another meaningful moment and was even left out for ''[=WrestleMania=] 37''.[[/note]]

** When Becky [[FaceHeelTurn turned on]] Charlotte after their match at ''Wrestling/{{SummerSlam}}'' '18, she was outright cheered, while Charlotte received enormous boos. While WWE intended to make it look like Becky was ungrateful for even thinking she deserved a title match over Charlotte, the fans ''did not'' buy it. Though Becky was portrayed as a heel on the following episode of ''Smackdown'', criticizing the audience by saying how they never believed in her, the fans were having none of it. While WWE persisted in intending her to be the heel via caustic arrogance and willingness to fight dirty in comparison to both Charlotte and Creator/RondaRousey, culminating in Ronda blatantly telegraphing Wrestling/VinceMcMahon's vision for her character by shouting about her being a spoilt entitled millenial who needs to be put in her place on the ''Wrestling/SurvivorSeries'' go-home show of ''Raw'', that same go-home show saw the iconic bloody face of a warrior maiden in blue, causing Becky's popularity to soar yet again to where she could not be boxed in anymore.

Her feud with Lacey Evans was poorly handled, with Evans being hot-shotted from developmental in NXT straight into the Raw Women's Championship picture, and later getting involved with her real-life boyfriend Seth Rollins made it even worse.
