** The early patch added GenderNeutralWriting for the PlayerCharacter in the English translation, which before the patch explicitly referred to the manager as female (the original Korean was also gender-neutral).
** It also fixed an early mobile phone interaction with Yunki to make it clear that he only jokingly threatened to share embarrassing-but-perfectly-innocent duck-face selfies from your hard disk... which, before the patch, had a major AccidentalInnuendo that made it seem like he was threatening to share ''other'' kind of spicy photos.
** The way the Affinity mechanic works (only rewarding friendliness and professionalism while punishing flirting) has been regarded by some players as a step up from earlier pre-2017 self-insert romance content typical of idol groups (which are widely regarded by the fandom and even the members as cringe-y at best). Some have even interpreted it as a way for the group and/or the company to set boundaries between idol and fan.
** Back then, there were requirements to either unlock a new chapter in both BTS Story (player level) and Another Story (member affinity), along with the requirement of finishing chapter 3 of ALL members' Another Story. These requirements were later removed during the final chapter update.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Aside from featuring instrumentals from already-existing BTS songs (namely "Go Go" and "You Never Walk Alone") and a couple of pretty sweet rearrangements of other songs like "DNA", the game has an entirely original soundtrack made of orchestral themes.

It's time for you to shut the fuck up!" has become a popular reaction image to respond to what's become known as "mantis" or "manager antis" - that is, "fans" who nitpick every single move by [=BigHit=] (to an extreme that goes beyond criticism into outright demonization) under the pretense of caring more and knowing better about the industry/legal process/the members themselves than the company or the rest of the fandom.

** Before its release, the game's infamous DevelopmentHell led to running jokes about whether ''BTS World'' was actually real or some sort of collective fever dream.

** Also in Chapter 3, after too much pressure over [[spoiler:being the main vocalist]] makes him temporarily lose his voice, [[spoiler:the members and the manager throw him a small party to apologize and reassure him. He then sings "Whalien 52", a BTS song that uses the case of the 52-hertz-whale that sang at a different frequency than the rest as a metaphor for loneliness, while the members listen and encourage him.]]

* SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct: While V and Jin had already been praised for their acting in the Music/BTSUniverse, other members also showed off their acting skills in here, particularly in Another Story.

* PeripheryDemographic: There are people who have found the game enjoyable despite not being Music/{{BTS}} fans, including Forbes game reviewer Paul Tassi (at least until Chapter 6, see ThatOneLevel below).
