* EvilIsSexy: A remarkable number of fans have voiced their aesthetic appreciation of the Void Dragon possessing Erin, due to his natural presence and coolness being paired with Erin's PrettyBoy features. In particular, [[spoiler:the takeover right after Erin knocks himself unconscious trying to fight off Tynan's dragon form]] had quite the effect on fans, due to Erin being partially shirtless the whole time.

* ArcFatigue: If you read the comic as it was updating, the Zuurith arc was likely a ''slog'' to get through, clocking in at a whopping six chapters long (previous arcs were three chapters long at most). It's generally agreed to be much easier to read through all at once.

** Is Falst's dad a good parent? He did genuinely try to heal Emira, and he does protect Falst, but some of his other lines seem to suggest he abandoned him later on. Red herself states that ‘his hair is the only good thing about him’.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Erin. Is his hubris a defense mechanism for insecurities? Does he deserve to be bullied? How responsible is he for Tess's treatment? Does his [[spoiler: destruction of the storm]] show callous disregard for the people who relied on it, or was he just thinking in the moment? was he even ''trying'' to destroy it? Why does he have the tattoos? Was the conflict at the archives deliberate? How much is he willing to give to the Void Dragon in return for power? Is he suicidally overconfident, or can he actually back himself up when he gets in deep? In the years since he's been introduced, the answer seems to be [[MathematiciansAnswer yes]].
