When Pochita proved to not want to ally with her due to her breaking Denji to bring him forth, she fought him with her Zombie minions as well as brainwashed Hybrids in order to defeat him, which according to her power, will help her subjugate him to do the above but completely in her mercy. Also, if Pochita defeated her instead, her own defeat and erasure will mean humanity will be free from getting controlled and will live a freer life, which according to her, is also a desirable outcome as she will be a part of Chainsaw Man. The only thing that stopped her from winning is Denji enacting his own gambit in the previous example, which itself was a guesswork in if Makima really did see Denji as a pawn or not.]]

Even if the group die, humanity ''will'' find out the truth eventually, meaning that there is ''absolutely nothing'' Dr. Suga will be able to do to avoid a gruesome death after the true nature of Paradonite is unveiled.
