* TheArtifact: Stacey's habit of wearing business suits in WCW came from her time as the valet of Standards and Practices, a pair of wrestling executives.More precisely, it was a brief repackaging of the tag team The West Hollywood Blondes (Lenny Lane and Lodi), done as a TakeThat against Turner executives who vetoed the West Hollywood Blondes' AmbiguouslyGay gimmick, to the point of stripping Lane of the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. She would continue wearing suits until the end of WCW, even after Standards and Practices had been released.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: If you enjoyed Monday Night Raw between 2002 and 2005, you have to thank her for a small part of that. In 2002, she came to Thursday Night SmackDown as General Manager Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon's executive assistant. But what no one knew at the time was that Keibler had actually been signed to Raw, and was only on [=SmackDown=] as Raw General Manager Wrestling/EricBischoff's corporate spy. While in Stephanie's office, Stacy forged a number of documents that made it appear as if certain [=SmackDown=] Superstars had, like her, actually contracted with Raw; fatefully, two of these Superstars were Wrestling/Batista and Wrestling/RandyOrton. This didn't result in anything huge at first, as Batista became a "Deacon" and one of Keibler's allies in Wrestling/TheDudleyBoys faction, while Orton was injured soon after his debut and had his career sidelined for the rest of the year. But in early 2003, Wrestling/TripleH and Wrestling/RicFlair introduced both of these men as the junior members of their new Wrestling/Evolution stable. Batista and Orton proved quite useful to HHH, to say the least: they helped him retain his World Heavyweight Championship for far longer than he deserved, and against the likes of Wrestling/ScottSteiner, Wrestling/BookerT and Wrestling/Goldberg. They also played a crucial role in causing Wrestling/Kane to lose the match whose stipulation was that he would have to unmask, costing Kane what last shreds of his sanity remained so that he turned against his brother and former ally Wrestling/TheUndertaker and buried him alive -- causing 'Taker to be resurrected as his "Deadman" persona once again in 2004 after having been a biker character for the past four years. And of course, Evolution would set the stage for the titanic power struggle between HHH and Orton, which started in 2004 and continued off and on for nearly five whole years after that! (The two wouldn't bury the hatchet permanently until 2013, when they joined forces as members of The Authority.)

Her big break in the entertainment industry came when she won a contest to become a new Nitro Girl for WCW in 1999. She initially appeared performing dance routines under the name Skye - before becoming a proper on screen character as Miss Hancock, valet to Standards and Practices. She wrestled the occasional match, though she was not an ActionGirl herself. After a storyline romance with David Flair, she started using her real name.

Pretty impressive for someone who was consistently losing Bra and Panties matches just two years earlier. Alas, it was only temporary — because she herself declined it. WWE had wanted to give Stacy a reign as Women's Champion and were trying to build her up. She was originally booked to win the Taboo Tuesday battle royal, but on the day of the match, she told WWE officials she didn't deserve to be champion as she wasn't a wrestler, and they should leave the title on Trish Stratus. Shortly afterwards, she was back losing Bra and Panties matches to newcomer (and 2004 Diva Search winner) Wrestling/ChristyHemme, returning to her FauxActionGirl status.
