Except that "lunatic fringe" refers to a ''metaphorical'' place on the outside of society and/or a gathering ground for people who are (at the very least) eccentric. It's not an actual ''person''. While Ambrose is hardly the only act in WWE that's ever been named or at least nicknamed after some sort of trait, event, or metaphor, "The Lunatic ''on the'' Fringe" or "''Mr.'' Lunatic Fringe" would both sound better if one had to go for accuracy. Subverted when it was later revealed that it was a slogan for a radio station in his hometown of Cincinnati.

** Not to mention in 2020, He became the number 1 pick of the PWI 500. This just cemented how great of a wrestler he is.

** From the moment of Moxley's debut at AEW, he and Kenny Omega went to war with each others, cultimating in Moxley defeating Omega at ''Full Gear'' 2019. A year later, the two feuded again, with Omega defeating Moxley at ''Winter Is Coming'' 2020 and capturing the AEW World Championship. The feud continues in 2021 with Omega this time having the help of the Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

** From the very moment of Moxley’s debut at AEW, he attacked Wrestling/KennyOmega and continued to do this in subsequent weeks. Its pretty clear that Moxley's main goal is to topple AEW's golden boy and to make an immediate name for himself. In response, Omega chatised Moxley for his insanity as well as his tenure at WWE especially in the last few months. A match between them was initially scheduled at ''All-Out'' but was postphoned due to Moxley suffering from MRSA staph infection. At ''Full Gear'', the two fought in a brutal unsanctioned Lights Out match with Moxley coming out the victor.

** At the end of the "Beach Break" special episode on the 3rd of February 2020, following his team's loss to the team of his hated rival Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers, Jon Moxley is about to put some pain into Omega, when a masked figure in a hoodie runs out and attacks him... who then unmasks to reveal himself as '''[[Wrestling/KentaKobayashi KENTA]]''', who not only has an upcoming challenge against Moxley for his IWGP US Heavyweight Championship, but is also a current member of the ''actual'' Wrestling/BulletClub in [[Wrestling/NewJapanProWrestling NJPW]]! It looks not only like the "Forbidden Door"[[note]]the FanNickname for the previously impossible prospect of direct cooperation between AEW and NJPW[[/note]] may be finally opening, but a full-blown intercompany Bullet Club reunion may be coming as well!
