* Series/CSIVegas has some deaths showing signs of radiation sickness. The team calls in Angela, an expert in the field, to investigate, and in the process, her suit tears, and she's exposed. At the hospital, the tests show she's dying, with the team pushed to find out more. However, something nags at Josh and he soon discovers Angela isn't dying and faked this entire thing as a plot to rob a homeowner of millions in gold he had hidden. The team arrest Angela, dryly noting she had the perfect alibi of no one suspecting a "dying" woman and might have gotten away with it if not for Josh's suspicions.

They end up kidnapping a deaf girl named Stacy who, naturally, is immune to their weapons. They don't understand humans well enough to realize this and assume she's either just highly resistant or they are missing with their weapons, so at one point Stacy pretends to be afflicted by the Big Bad's weapon when he holds her friend hostage long enough to trick him into lowering his guard.

Then, when the farmer's not looking, he smiles and winks at James.Act One of his performance is also worth noting: it's rare to find such quality screaming outside the opera.

* In the Series/RemingtonSteele episode "Illustrated Steele," comic strip artist Artie claims someone is trying to kill him by drawing strips of a character in danger and then it happens to him. He cites a strip of a car crash and then his own car went out of control and he barely escaped it going over a cliff. Steele and Laura figure it's Ray, the strips original artist, trying to kill Artie in fear Artie will take over the strip. They race to a house just as Artie and Ray are fighting, with Artie pushing Ray into a pool, killing him in self-defense. It seems to be over, but something nags at Steele. He and Laura take a drive without brakes on the same road and realize there's no way Artie should have survived his car going out of control like that. They also figure out that the artwork in the strip isn't really Ray. It turns out Ray had tricked Artie into a contract that bound him to work on the strip for seven years, but Ray would get all the credit. Artie thus concocted this plan to make himself look like the victim, murder Ray and used Steele and Laura as "witnesses" to back it up. The pair then turn the "comic strip" idea around to scare Artie into confessing.
