* ''Series/TerraNova'' has this with the titular time-traveling settlement. It's never stated exactly where in the world Terra Nova is located, and indeed no single location could account for all of the dinosaurs seen in the show, many of which are [[AnachronisticAnimal from various different time periods]] as well.

* The ''Series/{{Arrowverse}}'' the following Springfields: Starling City[[note]]later renamed Star City[[/note]], Central City, Coast City, Nanda Parbat and Lian Yu. So far there has been little indication as to where these are located. All we know about the “cities” is that they are in the US, and Starling is the coldest and cloudier of the three (which might just be metaphorical anyway). Iron Heights Prison even seems to move from Starling City to Central City between seasons. Nanda Parbat is some crazy Arab-Asian mixture, and Lian Yu is an island in the South Pacific. All of these places are reminiscent of the original comic book versions.

* ''Series/DaysOfOurLives'' is set in Salem (not to be confused with Salem, Massachusetts), which is pretty explicitly in or near a heavily Catholic part of the greater Chicago area (but not in Chicago itself) – it does, though suffer from extreme GeographicFlexibility.

* ''Series/MyNameIsEarl'' is set in “Camden County”, which seems like it’s supposed to be Southern but shows evidence of CaliforniaDoubling. The show does have a lot of references to real locations in northern Maryland; Creator/GregGarcia based it off Waldorf, MD, and the state being right on the border during UsefulNotes/TheAmericanCivilWar befits Camden’s history. But Garcia also pointed out that there are too many palm trees for it to really be Maryland. The county is also treated like a town in itself, and there is a consolidated city-county called Camden, but it’s in North Carolina. Wherever it is, it certainly isn't UsefulNotes/{{New Jersey}}'s [[UrbanSegregation Camden]] [[{{Suburbia}} County]].

The closest we have to confirmation of its location is in the episode "Inside Prove, Part 2" where Earl says that Camden is located in the U.S. Central time zone based on the TV scheduling, which means it can't be in the aforementioned Maryland or North Carolina, both of which are in the Eastern time zone.

* ''Series/StrangerThings'': The show takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. But the exact location is unclear: It’s in a fictional county named Roane County, and it appears to be close enough to Indianapolis, as Jonathan is able to drive there and back in less than a day in the first season. But the tie-in novel ''Suspicious Minds'' indicates that it's close to the college town of Bloomington, where the protagonists live and go to school, as they take regular day trips to Hawkins National Laboratory to participate in MKUltra experiments. Various comments made on the show also indicate that it's close to the Illinois border. The mobile game lampshades it if you choose to look at a map, with the player character stating that they can't find Hawkins on it.

Various comments made on the show also indicate that it's close to the Illinois border. Taken together, these clues would put Hawkins in the western-central part of the state, near the city of Terre Haute. However, an [[https://rossonl.wordpress.com/2018/12/19/the-location-and-map-of-hawkins-finally-revealed/ official map]] included with the companion book ''Worlds Turned Upside Down'' instead puts Hawkins in the northeastern part of the state, about halfway between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. * ''Series/TheUmbrellaAcademy2019'': The city where the bulk of the first and third seasons takes place is not named, nor are there any overt clues as to where it is besides Allison taking a plane from Los Angeles to get there. Seasons 2 and 3 show it is within or somewhere near Pennsylvania [[note]]Luther's bus trip for an attempted meeting with Reginald takes him up from Dallas to Pennsylvania before fading out, and the city is close enough to a Pennsylvanian Amish community that Five and Klaus can make a trip there and back within a day[[/note]]. It's clearly not any real world city, with Reginald Hargreeves shown visiting the area in 1918, which was nothing but farmland at the time, but has grown into a giant metropolis by 2019.
