** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilWJps0mSk8 This scene]], which has a more religious tone, has Noah rescuing dinosaurs from a fire, but Cain still doesn't believe in his visions and slanders him as crazy. Cain storms over while Noah talks with Adam and [[BreakingSpeech tells Noah that no "young magicians with delusions of grandeur"]] will tell him how to save his herd. Adam briefly calls Cain out and taunts him about being scared of how Noah will change his future (at the cost of nearly getting chomped). Thus, Cain casts Noah out of the herd and leaves him and Adam alone.

** A pair of ''Iguanodon'' would've been discussing a female ''Iguanodon'' who likes one of them as they patrolled a desert canyon.

* As part of the ongoing process to find a way for the characters to speak (as noted above), the ''Iguanodon'' characters originally had an accurate beak on their faces. However, this was deemed an obstacle in the way of the characters' ability to express emotion. While Eema would keep a parrot-like beak, the ''Iguanodon'' instead received fleshy lips; they still possess two strips of beak inside their mouths which look more like strips of teeth.

* An [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk-Bryw29go alternate scene]] showing the ''Carnotaurs'' scaring off the raptors, who are still eating the ''Struthiomimus'' they've picked clean in the final cut.

* The big shot of the herd traveling across the sand dune at night (after Eema makes the "monkey on my back" joke) was originally shot with a helicopter, but the shots kept coming out too shaky thanks to the helicopter. The shot was then created digitally.
* An [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk-Bryw29go alternate scene]] version]] of the end of the "Across the Desert" sequence showing the ''Carnotaurs'' scaring off the raptors, who are still eating the ''Struthiomimus'' they've picked clean in the final cut.cut.
* Storyboards of the lake sequence have shown that once the misfits retreated from the mad stampede to the water they unearthed, Baylene and Eema would reveal that the elderly members of the herd are required to wait to drink until after the younger members. The scene would then quickly transition into Aladar and Neera's ShipTease on the spot, as opposed to the final film where their conversation takes place several hours later.

* We would've seen the ''Stygimiloch'' (the Pachycephalosaur that we see the ''Carnotaur'' eat while Aladar hides from it) [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot__LojYhK0 collapse from exhaustion]].

* The film would've originally opened in space, having Plio's intro speech over a scene of several small meteors zooming through space, followed by the asteroid that would later impact Earth after the courtship scene, showing the approaching extinction event years before impact. It was cut due to ending up being too similar to the opening of ''Film/{{Armageddon}}''.

The second part of the track accompanies Bruton and the scout being ambushed, however.
