* {{Irony}}: The story of "The Kid's Gang" revolves around 2 kids who look up to the completely made up story of Billy the Kid in a book that pretends to tell his "true story", and are then dissapointed when they meet the real one. Of course, the "real" Billy the Kid in the Lucky Luke universe is also far from historically accurate (as are plenty of other historical figures from the old west in this series).

* Hypocrite: In "Unlucky in Love", the turnabout Tribe does seemingly everything backwards. They go to war with those who offer peace, ride backwards on their horses, cry instead of laughing, insult each other as greeting, etc. Even their Cats run after dogs and their elders play like kids while their children sit and rest like they're old. However, they're more selective than they appear. As Jolly Jumper points out, if they pushed their logic all the way they'd carry their own horses. And as Conny points out, going by their logic the women should've become warriors while the men should've become homemakers. And she didn't even need to say it in opposite speech for this to cause a general dispute.

* GratuitousEnglish: The opening song's lyrics are a mix of French and deliberately badly pronounced English (with one GratuitousSpanish word, besides).
