''The Forge'' is the seventh Total Immersion Event for Creator/CartoonNetwork's (or in this case Creator/AdultSwim's) Creator/{{Toonami}} block. The first episode premiered at the 2019 Momocon before its November 9 release.

TOM and Sarah are discussing what to do with Georgia (the worm creature they took with them at the end of ''The Intruder III'') as she's growing quite big and Sara feels the Vindication doesn't have the necessary environment of her home planet. Before the discussion can go further, the ship's navigation suddenly re-programs itself, locks out the crew and send them to an unknown space station. When TOM goes to confront those who brought them there, he's knocked out from behind by the ringleader and the Clydes are likewise taken out. This soon leaves Sara the only one who can save TOM from whatever the inhabitants have planned. All the while the duo try to figure out who exactly these people are.

* CallBack: In the previous [=TIE=], ''WesternAnimation/{{Countdown}}'', [[spoiler: The present TOM had witnessed a corrupted future Sara blow up an uninhabited planet using the Vindication's weapons]]. Here, "Booger" reveals that the Vindication was originally meant as a warship, so it's firepower makes ''much'' more sense now and likewise showcases the threat that "Booger" presents if he goes through with his plans.

** Ep 2: The ringleader turns out to be an alien (whom TOM dubs "Booger") wearing a suit who reveals that the Vindication is actually a warship that his kind had lost years ago and all the units on the station are droids created under his service. With the ship now back under his control, he plans to set out and conquer the universe. Sara manages to break TOM free and the first droid they comes across, Sara "frees" of his restrictive programming. He then begs TOM to help free the others which TOM reluctantly agrees to.

* InterfaceScrew: In Week 5 of the event, the bumpers start to glitch and don't play any of the preview footage.

* HeroKiller: The Commander Of The Forge ("Booger") ultimately kills TOM 5 by shooting him in the back, destroying his circuits.

[[spoiler:Realizing that there is no other way he can save them, TOM makes a HeroicSacrifice, attacking the aliens to give the others enough time to board the Vindication and for Yellow TOM (now known as TOM Jr.) to clone himself. They manage to board successfully but TOM is shot and killed by "Booger"]].
